I found this gem a few weeks ago when touring around the Cambridge area. I stop and purchased a pound of fresh lump crab meat and it was extraordinarily delicious. So much so that about a week or so later I drove an hour and a half to go back and purchase four more pounds that I shared with friends. Now, all I think about is, when can I go again. I give them five stars for the quality of their product but also for the courtesies extended to me during each of my two visits. I recommend that you give them a try but, only if you enjoy the freshest, high quality seafood at a very reasonable price.

2025. 6. 21 we've been here multiple times we always had a great experience. Today, I came with friends' families from Michigan. Sofi showed wonderful services and we all enjoyed fresh blue crabs. Thanks JM Clayton and Sofi. We will definitely come back again. Fresh and delicious crabs with a great price. The staff was really friendly and kind. The building doesn't look for sale but there is a small window that you can order steamed crabs (30 min). It was the best blue crabs I had. Highly recommend!! We will come back when we visit Cambridge.

Look no further if you’re looking to have crabs shipped to you. Just had an order shipped to Longmont Colorado and the crabs came in impeccable condition. Only a very small handful of cracked shells from an entire bushel. Price was great, shipping was shipping but again I was having them send crabs halfway across the country so I shouldn’t expect anything less. Chop tank crabs were BIG AND HEAVY! 10 of us sat down on a Sunday afternoon and picked the entire bushel saving the claws obviously for cream of crab soup. Living on the other side of the country makes it difficult but the world has shrunk and JM Clayton is doing it right. Amazing amazing people to work with, hats off to Debbie and her sister(forget her name) for amazing customer service. Note that Debbie and her sister sound almost identical so don’t make the mistake I did by assuming Debbie is answering the phone every single time. Can’t wait for our next order and will definitely be shopping with JMClayton again.

Bought half bushel last night. The crabs were light, small, and the box lid closed easily with a dip in the top. Been buying crabs from them for years . The last few times have been junk. Where’s the good crab place in Cambridge now?

I always leave with a smile knowing I get to enjoy the fresh seafood when I get home.

Best crabs I've had in years. Will be my go to from now on. If you haven't tried here you're missing out. 32 years on the eastern shore and I can't believe I never knew they were there, thanks to a good friend Doug Whittington this my go to place now. Thanks for the outstanding monster Wye river crabs. Best price I could find anyone highly recommend

Bought fresh jumbo lump crabmeat and crab claws.....crabmeat extremely good and crab claws were over the top good!
