Wanted to come here for years. A place that closes early cares about the customers and quality of. This is the perfect place for locals. Parking in the front and back. Drive thru is awesome. Super close to Target and Downtown Hollywood. Staff is excellent. Eggs cooked to perfection. French toast excellent. Bagels one hit one miss. American Breakfast. Waffle hard as a rock. Sausage patties could’ve been flipped over once. I will go again. Fresh Orange Juice

Best bagels I've had in FL! You can clearly see that management is excellent here too. It's been a long time since I've experienced such friendly and high-spirited service in south florida. Everything was awesome!

This place truly impressed me. The staff is exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The breakfast was absolutely great—simple yet satisfying Despite the high number of diners during my visit, the service was remarkably swift—my food arrived within minutes. Five stars for the impeccable service and hospitality. A hidden gem worth revisiting.

We have lived in Hollywood for a short time now, and we have passed this place numerous times and considered going in, but never went in. Today was the day! It is our new go to breakfast and lunch spot! The best pancakes we have had since moving to Florida! Everything was cooked amazingly, it had such flavor. It was cooked exactly how we asked it to be and it was hot when it came out. The service was perfect. I mean these waitresses went to JP‘s bagel, school college or something, 😂

Had brunch with my husband and our son after a doctor's appointment...and it gives the 'hole in the wall' a meaning to say...the place is unassuming. It does not look like anything from the outside...but as you enter...it is a bit surprising to see how small the space is....but it was very busy even so. We were greeted immediately which was great...and invited to sit....the menus arehanging about...and it was rather extensive for a small space. Our son ordered grilled cheese on a bagel..and home fries...I had an omelette with home fries and my husband ordered the 'everything' breakfast. We didn't have to wait long...the food is served cleanly and ' just as' the menu represented. Good old fashioned breakfast. My omelette did not frighten me of its size...a perfect size...my husband was very happy about his grits..and our son's grilled cheese made on a bagel may just start a new trend?! 🥰... Food was very much a bit of back street Americana....very nice indeed. We will be stopping by again🥰

My wife and I enjoy a good Bagel with cream cheese or a breakfast sandwich bagel. Also my wife has a new found love for smoked salmon. When searching for a good breakfast place near Hollywood Florida, we knew that we had to stop here. It's a small old fashioned diner, its very cozy. They had a lot of "regulars" in there eating. Which is always a good sign of a yummy spot. Now on to the food... The bagels are a nice size, great texture, and are very flavorful. The prices are also very fair. I ordered an egg, cheese, and turkey bacon bagel. I really enjoyed it, I have to say it was perfect. My wife enjoyed her lox bagel, she said there was nothing that she would change about it! We will be stopping back in next time we're in Hollywood!

There is no better breakfast spot in Hollywood (and I’d argue Broward County). I’ve been going here for years since I was a little kid. You can expect consistently good food and great service for a reasonable price. This is a no thrills unfussy diner setting that makes you feel like you’re back in 1980s South Florida. Everything on the menu is good.

First time. I work down the street at a sub shop and drive by everyday. Decided to have breakfast. What a gem. Food was great. Homemade potato pancakes. Think pancake made with potatoes and onions. Chef’s kiss. I had lox, tomato and onion with capers on a salt bagel with potato pancakes. Definitely coming back. My only criticism is it was so loud. But what can you expect from about only a 30 person place for about 50 people. It’s gonna be loud

Small but mighty! We discovered this local gem while here for vacation. My husband ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on an onion bagel and I ordered the ham, egg and cheese on an egg bagel. Both sandwiches were amazing as well as the home fries which were seasoned and cooked perfectly!

JP's is a great casual breakfast in Hollywood. Right next to city hall and the library, the entrance can be easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. We always call in our order and pick it up via the drive through window on the right side of the building. Anything you order will be way better than Dunkin or Einstein's! I always get bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It is big, hot, and the bagel is great. Make sure to double check your bag when doing pick up. More than once, something has been missing from my order. Most recently we asked "are the home fries in the bag?" Got the response "yes, everything is in the bag". Get home, no home fries.

JP's Bagel place hit the spot. This busy little diner serves delicious bagels at great prices. I ordered an everything bagel sandwich with eggs, ham and cheese. The bagel was crispy on the outside and chewy on te inside. I liked how light and soft this bagel was and the everything seasoning added flavor to the sandwich. JP's is small and their kitchen is busy so there's a bit more noise. One of the servers yells around the diner - I don't know if it's necessary but that's how they seem to get things done. Staff were friendly and came back a few times for coffee refills. If you're looking for a place that makes New York style bagels with great flavor this is the place.

Outstanding Service! The bagels crazy good! We had two Bagel sandwiches with bacon,egg, and cheese. We asked for a side of cream cheese and we ordered a side of gravy biscuits. Everything was super delicious! We will be coming back at some point!

Classic small American breakfast spot! Good food, fast service, good prices! Went in on Monday at 7:30am and was busy. Will definitely be back.

Decided to give this place a try based on its rating. We arrived around 9:20 am on a Sunday and it was quite busy. Led to a table for two in the corner, we sat down and someone quickly came to clean the table. First impressions.. this place is loud. Not only the diners, but there's a steady yelling out of orders behind the counter. The menus were hanging on a hook against the wall next to us. We both decided to go basic, just two eggs, over medium, home fries and a bagel with butter. Can't mess that up.. well, maybe you can. About ten minutes later I noticed a table to the left and three rows down being served their food. A couple with a young child in a high chair. They sat there looking at the food for a few minutes and then she raised her hand for the waitress. "I don't think this is our food." Umm.. no.. it was our food. The woman picked up the plates, handed them to the waitress, who placed my wife's plate right on top of mine and walked it over to our table. But.. I didn't say anything and just thanked her. In my opinion, food sitting on someone else's table shouldn't be served to other guests, but maybe that's just me. The food.. for starters, the eggs were runny. I get that they are somehow hard to make a specific way, but the egg whites were gooey for both of us. The home fries were way over seasoned and room temperature as were the eggs, which is understandable considering they were sitting on another customers table for a while. My wife ordered grits and they gave her a small bowl which she said were "okay." She tasted my home fries and said they were over seasoned and lousy.. I didn't eat them. Now, I've had my share of bagels over the years, both good and bad and fresh and old and these bagels tasted and felt like they came out of a plastic bag.. very soft and caky and they scraped some margarine (not butter) along the edge of the plate for us to use. They claim they bake them fresh daily, but these tasted more like supermarket bagels. About 20-30 minutes after we left my wife started getting terrible stomach cramps. I got her home and for most of the morning she was feeling ill. She had nothing to eat prior to breakfast. The one redeeming aspect of our visit was that the servers seem fairly attentive, always walking around and checking on tables. So, there you have it. JP's is not a place that I'll be returning to. It's a very small place that does get busy for breakfast. It appears to be frequented by the local residents and it's quite inexpensive compared to other breakfast places and maybe that's its allure.

Perfect breakfast right after a hot & intense yoga class! Coffee & tip included was less than $15 & supporting small local businesses made for a great start to a feel good Saturday! They do get pretty packed & they're relatively small, so have some patience or grab it to go! Turn it into a picnic at ArtPark at Young Circle... Definitely will try coming here often after a weekend class if time permits! And the perfect bacon does exist...

JPs is amazing! It is a little place with huge impact. When you walk in they have seating outside and inside, a bar you can sit at & a drive thru as well. Inside is maybe like 10-12 tables but it goes pretty quickly. When you sit down they have the menus on a hook for viewing which I think is really impressive and out of the box. To eat we had the following: Tony's special: I got a blueberry waffle, eggs over medium & sausage. The waffle was crispy and delicious. The blueberries were sprinkled with powdered sugar. The eggs were nice and runny. Sausage had a lot of flavor as well. Husband got eggs, sausage, home fries & toast. Listen get the home fries well done (you will thank me) All the staff come around to see how you are doing which is really nice. One of my top places to have breakfast for dining in or take out!

Grrrreat!! I found this breakfast nook today searching while I was in the area. It's a small local eatery specializing in breakfast. The menu is full the coffee is rich and the staff is super friendly and efficient. It's a home style breakfast place with up close seating and some outdoor as well.

Don't sleep or second guess on trying this place. Stop, and do not go any farther in your scroll for a breakfast joint in Hollywood, FL. It doesn't look like a lot from the outside, but I am so glad I decided to stop here and try it. It had a full lot of cars, figured that was a great sign to start with! This was hands down some of the best food and service I have ever experienced at a breakfast joint, and I don't say that lightly. I can't even express how refreshing it is to walk into an establishment with happy, smiling faces to greet you as you walk in, and to continue that enthusiasm throughout your experience. It was a busy Saturday morning, I was checked in on multiple times by staff, my food was delivered quickly and fresh right off the griddle, my coffee was piping fresh and stayed full (it was so good I grabbed one to go), and I am walking away totally satisfied. I travel for work for a living, which means I've been to a lot of restaurants. And, sometimes you just want something that resembles what you'd make in your own kitchen, without the fancy frills and crazy garnishes. It was also extremely affordable, which is hard to come by these days eating out. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, and I had a hard time deciding what to get but had no regrets in my choices. I scroll through Yelp almost daily to look for my next meal. I'm picky about service but I'm also pretty low maintenance. They blew my expectations out of the water, they truly set the bar. This one is getting bookmarked, and even if I'm within 25 miles of this place I'll go out of my way to come back. You know you've found the hidden gem when they refer to over half of the guests walking in the door by name. I want to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful and bubbly staff of JP's Bagel Place for the experience I didn't know I needed, and for adding some sunshine to my day by making my morning with your smiling personalities and delicious food.

I was super excited for breakfast. Parking is a mission. No street parking. The lot is small and hard to maneuver. The employees/ cool no issues. The food looked good. HOWEVER / I ordered pancakes and on the plate was a mound of something. When I asked, they said it was margarine.!!! What,they said the cost of butter was too much!! There's nothing like it. Going to a diner and getting pancakes and butter. Who wants and who eats margarine!!! I can't believe they still serve that stuff. Next time I'll have to ask / do you serve butter or margarine? LOL.

Service is always with a smile, food is consistent and very reasonably priced. We absolutely love coming here. It feels like family.

close to my job fresh breakfast and lunch everyday. friendly staff at a quick pace i've tried so much food here and its all great service amazing so clean but a bit small inside and out its more perfect t for taking out . they also have a drive threw not much parking but easy to walk too close to the beach

I arrived here just before 8am. It's tiny inside, so if you're claustrophobic, you might not enjoy it.. That's no big deal to me. I opted for veggie egg sandwich on an everything bagel with chive cream cheese on the side. The bagel was huge, so I finished half of it and saved the other half for early lunch craving. I saw that it was "too crispy" on that one side/corner, but they're lucky I like crunchy not just pillowy. For those that will say that's "burned", you might want to ask them to "toast a little bit." I asked for an espresso shot instead of the watered down coffee. With all that crema (sugar coffee foam, not cream from milk) -- or some call it espuma, it was delicious. It was a perfect temperature, but that's obviously because it was made right in front of me. I did see that when they were pouring regular coffee to others, the steams from their mugs were noticeably plenty. I like it hot. Casey took care of me. She was cool, but I think I was a little too chatty for her. It was starting to get busy, so I understand. If you want a quick breakfast without the fuss, this is your place. They even have drive-through.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and quick it was!!! We were immediately greeted and waited upon even with the parking lot full. Many, many bagel options as well as other breakfast/lunch options. The everything bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese was phenomenal toasted with butter! Hubby got the traditional breakfast and said the pancakes were so light and tasty! And cannot forget to mention the value....$15 for two meals!! That is unheard of in this day and age! Definitely bookmarking for our next visit to the coast!

What a great find in Hollywood. Stopped in for breakfast and what a great restaurant. All of the food that I viewed looked great. The service was outstanding. My server was very attentive to my needs. Food quantity and quality for the price was amazing. I only wish I lived closer. Do not hesitate to visit this gem in South Florida.

For a quick breakfast can't beat the food quick and fast. Nothing too extra. Service always a 10/10 wait staff is always kind and down to earth. Inside and outside dining set up for a quick bite headed to Hollywood beach.

Great food, service was outstanding. Fresh bagels are delivered daily by a local bake shop. We all ordered something different, and not one of us was dissatispointed.

Love this little place! The staff has always been nice. They are busy most of the time and they do runout of seating but it is worth the wait. They've got tables and chairs set up outside. They have a pick-up window as well so you can order ahead and just pick it up. The indoor seating is a bit tight and there is a counter with stool seating. Whenever we eat here I always get the feeling of a mom and pop diner where everyone is family including the people who eat there lol. More than once I've noticed the staff calling customers by name and already knowing what they will order which is amazing. Their food is very good and quick. The portion doesn't look much but it's very filling. It was more than enough for me. Breakfast Special includes a side of protein (bacon, sausage or ham) 2 eggs and 2 pancakes. I had a cappuccino too which was good.

For somewhere with a huge influx of NY and NJ residents, I'm not sure how this shop stays open. Their bagels are horrible. The piss poor diner style service is overrated. I got my order of lox and bagel to go and it made so sloppily that it got all over my hands. Not a fan. The coffee was mediocre but hot. I would not come back.

I had picked up my husband from a red eye flight and he wanted something to eat. For some reason, I was thinking it was by the courthouse so when we got off 95 we headed west when we should have headed east. They are just west of the 2nd circle on Hollywood Boulevard. We didn't realize at first that there was parking in the back and thought that there was no parking available. There's about 6 parking spots [which includes handicapped parking]) in the front. We U-turned and came back around when we realized there's a lane that takes you to the back parking lot where there are a couple more parking spots. We were greeted when we walked in and were told that we could sit anywhere we wanted. The staff were very friendly and our food was quick to come out. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the stain on the side of my coffee cup. My husband's cup also had a stain. Not sure if it was due to coffee spilling over or that the cups weren't cleaned very well. Foodwise, everything was great! Home fries were seasoned well and bagels were fresh.

Two bacon, egg, on plain bagel to go. One with cheese. It was very good. 13$ for two bagels. Small atmosphere. Friendly environment and saw them all helping each other. Cashier was sweet

This place just reminded me when our family lives in Pensacola 50 years ago ... It's a family owned , food portion are generous prices are incredible low ! Very friendly and attentive staff. The Crab and swiss cheese Omelet must have ! We will be back soon .

Again... Another place that really really does it right the waffles are off the chain. It's a breakfast so they ain't open that late. You gotta get there early but it's worth it.

Okay, I've passed this place but never really thought of stopping. Was in the area and wanted breakfast as we were running errands in the area. After reading the reviews, I'm so glad we stopped in for breakfast. Service was friendly and speedy. The omelette was great and the potatoes, which I requested to be well done, were by far the best I've eaten in ages. Nice fresh bagel. The coffee was kinda weak but certainly fresh. I can honestly understand why people frequent the place and leave full.

Attention hungry people!!! JPs is an unassuming little spot that serves lunch all day long. And this Bagel place rocks water bagels. Staff are on point. At least 4 or more waiters served the two of us throughout our meal, and the place was packed! A real team effort with super communication and coordination on getting the right stuff to you fast, fresh, and friendly. They serve bagels with all the delights: enough cream cheese to bake a cake, fresh tasty Nova salmon, or anything else you want on them. Excellent cappuccino. I had an everything bagel with sour cream and chive, add nova salmon, tomato and onion all fresh on the side, plus one egg perfectly prepared over easy. There is a drive through but we took the time to sit outside in the warm morning January sunshine that we don't get in Chicago or Philadelphia. Definitely coming back here. A lot of locals coming and going - a good sign even between 0900-1000 on a Friday morning. Choose JP's over the chain bagel, breakfast and coffee spots all day long!

We love JP's. It's a small hole in the wall with a small parking lot but plenty of street parking. The comfort food is excellent and reasonably priced, much better than the competition. KC? Casey? the owner hires well, trains well and runs a tight ship. There are times this place could be its own sitcom.

For those interested in a relatively quick and inexpensive breakfast, look no further. JP's Bagel Place hits the mark for their breakfast sandwiches and bagels. I had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it was stellar. The grits were par for the course as was the coffee. There isnt much seating inside though so that could be an issue depending on when you go. There is additional parking behind the place to don't fret if you don't see anything up front. Definitely a solid option in the area!
