This place has a fascinating history, and I highly recommend joining the whiskey tour. Kansas City whiskey is unique because it’s infused with sherry wine. I was surprised to learn that sherry was once added to whiskey a century ago. Our tour guide goes above and beyond to ensure we have a great time while sharing captivating stories about the history of whiskey. The indoor and outdoor bars create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and pets are welcome too!

Google
Very fun venue to visit if you like cocktails and good food. It has a shop, restaurant upstairs, night club in the basement, tasting bar, and outside bar. I was with a group and tried several of the food items. The potatoes were amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a little sour cream that was spiced and salt on top. I liked all of the food. I asked that the beef tenderloin be cooked medium rare and it melted in my mouth. I also enjoyed the amaro based cocktail with cold brew and spices.

This place is so fun! They always have things going on that you never expect. Reservations recommended for hey hey club! Love the drinks and the food in the lounge is delicious. Definitely worth the visit. The building has a lot of history. I would love to try a tour one time. Christmas time is gorgeous and my favorite time to visit!

This isn't just a distillery; it's an experience, a true testament to Kansas City's burgeoning craft scene, and an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable outing. The classiness of the place is immediately apparent. The architecture, the decor, the attention to detail – everything speaks of quality and a refined aesthetic. Whether you're admiring the gleaming stills, wandering through the well-appointed gift shop, or settling into one of their comfortable seating areas, you feel a sense of relaxed elegance. And let's talk about the cocktails. Oh, the cocktails! Crafted with their exceptional spirits, each drink is a masterpiece of flavor and balance. The bartenders are true artisans, knowledgeable and passionate, able to recommend the perfect libation to suit your palate. This isn't just a place for a quick drink; it's an opportunity to savor expertly mixed concoctions in a setting that encourages lingering. Beyond the libations, J. Rieger & Co. also impresses with its culinary offerings. The food menu, while perhaps not extensive, is thoughtfully curated and perfectly complements their spirits. Whether you're looking for a light bite or something more substantial, you'll find delicious options that elevate the entire experience. What truly sets J. Rieger & Co. apart is the overall relaxing atmosphere. Despite its popularity, the space never feels overly crowded or chaotic. There's a comfortable buzz that encourages conversation and enjoyment. It's the kind of place where you can unwind after a long week, enjoy a leisurely afternoon, or celebrate a special occasion with friends. In short, J. Rieger & Co. is more than just a distillery; it's a destination. It's classy, the cocktails are exceptional, the food is delightful, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. For anyone visiting or living in Kansas City, this is an absolute must-visit – prepare to be charmed and leave planning your next return.

This is a fun place! Period! We missed out on the distillery tour so I can't comment on that but the atmosphere is, well, electric!!! We tried multiple drinks and every single one was better than the last. The bartender was courteous and very knowledgeable not only about liquor but it's pairing. My only gripe, we went there for lunch and they didn't have any food other than a steamed veggie tray. GIVE ME SOME FRIED CHICKEN 😂. The dinner menu looked delicious though. I would highly recommend this place. Take your gal on a date here... she'd be blown away!

Google
Hubby and I had a date night during happy hour last night at the Monogram Lounge! We ordered the cheddar drop biscuits (they were okay), the pretzel and cheese, and the fingerlings. The pretzel and cheese are so delicious! It comes out nice and warm, and the pretzel is so soft and yummy. The cheese is delicious. The fingerlings are skinny potatoes that are cooked and smashed slightly. They are salted and come with a sauce that lines the bowl. The fingerlings are a favorite of ours. He ordered a couple of old fashions, and I had the horse feather. Our drinks were on point and good as usual. They are what keep us coming back! We both have a J. Rieger membership, so I used my 15% off monthly reward. Of course, we ended the night with a ride down to the lobby on the curvy slide.

Google
Do not miss an opportunity to visit these folks. From the warm greeting when you walk in the door to the bartenders and our tour guide, everyone and everything was fantastic. Gay, who greeted us was friendly and inviting. Our tour guide, Joe, was awesome. The drinks were incredible. Hands down the coolest distillery we've ever visited. The slide is the cherry on top. Go be a kid and have some tasty beverages and enjoy the slide. We will be back.

Yelp
We had a large group and we started with the 1:00 whiskey tour. Our tour guide was Joe and he was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and great attitude. I loved hearing about the history of KC J Rieger and how it started where they are today. We have been to Louisville several times and done several tours and J Rieger stands out and is in top 3 for best tour and tasting! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here on a double date with some friends, we were told they had a Christmas pop up bar inside so we decided to check it out. This was my first time ever coming to one and man was I blown away! I felt like I was in the North Pole, the decor and ambience was hands down amazing and so were the drinks. I had quite a few so I don't remember which ones I had. One things for sure this coming Christmas I will definitely be checking out more Christmas pop up bars. Highly recommend coming here

Yelp
J. Rieger is a neat place with a great atmosphere. Very open with multiple levels. I tried their "KC Iced Water" cocktail, and I must say it might be my newest favorite drink. Highly recommend whether you are there for a tour, an event, or just for drinks at the bar.

Yelp
Beautiful building. Great whiskey. Good times:) Wonderfully industrial but really high end and designed to the nines. Great outdoor area to hang out and have cocktails with friends

Yelp
Okay what an Awesome experience! My boyfriend and I stopped in this distillery when visiting KC for the day and we Loved how versatile it was!! They had so many different ways to experience the distillery including a tasting room, patio room, museum, upstairs restaurant/monogram lounge, and an outside/garden experience with a food truck, frozen drinks, swing chairs, and music! Each one was a completely different vibe and had different drink options! Your tab can span across all places and you can explore the distillery while you drink as well. They even have a slide connecting the top floor to the bottom floor you can do! We also thought it was cool that you had the opportunity to bottle your own-which is pretty cool. We went during happy hour and got great prices of $6 for our cocktails! Everyone we encountered was also extremely friendly from entrance staff arms wide open (literally) to the bartenders helping us out. So, overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend checking out!

Yelp
When visiting KC, put this place on your list! We stopped in for a tasting (for my husband) & a cocktail (for myself!). Very nice indoor seating plus a lovely outdoor area. We will definitely return if we are back in the area! Oh, and they have a food menu along with a gift shop on site.

Yelp
My first experience at J Reiger was awesome! Try the KC Ice Water!!! It may be the best cocktail I've ever had.

Yelp
Have been a few times in winter and once in summer. Outside for each time. A really fun atmosphere and a lot of outside space. The downstairs speakeasy..
google avatar

SuLin S.

Yelp
Crafted cocktails that make you say, "I'll have another, please." Although they are pricey, the service and experience make it worth it. The atmosphere is inviting from any area in the building. My favorite spot is the Hey Hey Club on the lower level.

Yelp
This is a great tour! You have to have reservations and be sure to plan several days ahead ... not an easy tickets sometimes to get. Great 1 hour tour ... multi sensory.... The smells! Learning about not just whiskey but gin & vodka as well. Loved the history video at the beginning- a lot of info on KC itself! Wear closed toed shoes and the temp does change with the weather so plan accordingly. Really great tour guide- energy, sincere interest, informative and able to answer questions on the fly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Fun place to hand out with your friends or enjoy a good drink. Live music on Wednesday night. Good food. Great service. Fun times.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for the happy hour. I thought the food was really good. The service was slow. There was no pace with purpose from our server and they were busy. A lot of her tables seemed disgruntled with how slow she was moving.

Yelp
This place offers so many things to do. As you walk in, they have the front counter to help you with all your needs. On the right hand side is the history of J.Rieger in Kansas City. On the left you'll find the slide and the stairs to go up to the bar / food or downstairs to the hey hey club. If you keep going from your left you'll go outside to the electric park. There are so many different things to do here that you'll be here for hours not to mention the slide! Every drink that I have had here along with food has been awesome. Service is always quick and helpful and everything comes out at a good pace. They also do tours that you can sign up ahead of time which is pretty neat and I believe they also offer memberships now. This is definitely a place to check out if you have not been here!

Yelp
Electric Park Garden Bar is a blast. Outdoor bar, food truck, cool seating - booths, tables, swings, outdoor games, dog and kid friendly - what else do you need?? Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks sold. Some of my faves were the: route sixty spritz, caffe' colada - a frozen drink, box car julep and giddy up float with ice cream. Food options include mostly burgers and chicken. Grill cheese, tenders and a salad round out the menu. Vegetarian and gluten options available. The vegetarian burger is a black bean patty with grilled onions and pimento cheese. I had the fried chicken Sammy. It was juicy and delicious. We also tried the chicken tenders and they were a bit tough. Get the truffle parm fries - yum. The regular fries are also very tasty. Staff are super friendly and helpful. If you're a first timer be sure to go to the tasting room and go upstairs to slide down the slide. This is a great spot for groups, couples and friends. Final observation: this spot is environmentally friendly using recyclable flatware and providing recycling and composting receptacles.

Yelp
If you want a tour, plan to make reservations. Plenty to do without a tour. Story boards are setup to cover plenty of history. A tasting room is available to buy small quantities of the wide variety of spirits. Including 2 different flights. Upstairs is a restaurant which serves drinks and a wide variety of food. We were doing nibbles. One of the amazing choices was the HUGE drop biscuits. 4 was enough for our group of 7. Another was fingerling potatoes with a sour cream sauce. There is a slide from the second to first floor which a couple of my siblings (age 70+) tried. They all were very pleased.

Yelp
First time in KC decided to try out J Rieger, we had already tried some BBQ places. We thought we would check out the place have a drink and then go somewhere else for dinner. Beautiful facility-greeted as soon as we walked in. Area with history of the brand, outdoor area, gift shop, upstairs restaurant and also a club downstairs. They also do distillery tours. We checked all three areas and settled on the upstairs space. Trish took such good care of us we didn't want to leave. Hubby tried the whiskey and bourbon offerings. I had a Mule made with the J Rieger vodka. Ordered a couple of appetizers the pretzel and the veggies. It was so good we decided to stay for dinner! I ordered the salmon and hubby got the beef tenderloin oh and whiskey cake for dessert. It's a really fun place! I think there was a private event going on in the tasting room. Great venue with lots of options and everyone looked like they were having a great time! Highly recommend you stop at J Rieger & Co.

Yelp
I am planning an event next April and met with Andi Ryan to go over all the details. Wow! She is fabulous at her job......so excited to have my group experience this beautiful space and excellent spirits.

Yelp
Visited Electric Park with a couple of friends and had a great time. On a Saturday, it was super busy. Nearly every seat was filled, however the line for the bar/food truck were painless. There's also a QR code assigned to each table, so you can order drinks right to your seat. The drink/food selections were pretty decent, although the frozen drink machine wasn't working during our visit -bummer! Especially enjoyed the seasonal g&t, the gardenia, and the truffle parm fries. Overall, this is a great garden bar experience and I love the history behind Electric Park. There's tons of seating options, from a swing set table, to fire pits, and lounge seats, but note they do fill up fast. I do wish there were more shaded spots/umbrellas available because the sun beaming down does get pretty hot - anytime a group got up from a shady table, people would rush over to snag the spot lol. Despite the heat, our drinks kept us cool and refreshed, and the atmosphere was uplifting and inviting. I'm curious to see what this patio is like in the evening and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Always so much fun here! The vibes are great and the outside seating is pretty. Only thing I wish drinks weren't $8+ for what they are¨

Yelp
On a quest to visit all the best happy hour locations in Kansas City and this one is making a good case for being #1! Bottom floor has a self-guided tour area, gift shop and leads to electric park. Dogs are allowed outside and there are great drinks, food and additional food trucks out there. Beautiful space! We went upstairs for happy hour and got a pretzel and the fingerling potatoes to share. Their whole happy hour menu is the most popular items at a discount--we are excited to come again and try the rest! I believe there's a paid brewery tour that can be signed up for online. We are hoping to make that a fun outing with some family later this year! Service was FAST and great! Very upscale, clean and cheerful ambiance. Great place to go with family and friends. Excited to visit again!

Yelp
While I love me some bourbon, this place has a special place in my heart and even if you don't like to drink, J Rieger & Co is a fantastic place to visit. Their history is rich, their tours are fantastic and their drinks you can purchase at the bar are delicious. Whether you're an expert, intermediate, or a beginner in drinking whiskey check this place out. You'll love it.

Yelp
If you're interested in the history of J. Rieger and the distilling process, this would be a fun tour for you. The 1-hr long tour starts with a short documentary and then takes you through their production process, where history and functionality are shared by the tour guide. The tour ends with a spirits sampling in the Tasting Room.

Yelp
Absolutely love the Monogram Lounge in J Rieger - some of the best cocktails in KC and elevated appetizers to accompany. They rotate drinks but you truly cannot go wrong - the cheese board is my personal fav app. (Noting my fav drinks are The Usual, Route Sixty Spritz). Electric garden is a great outdoor area when the weather is nice, and you're looking for an easy drink and food. The drinks are my favorite on draft, not as good as the handcrafted cocktails upstairs, but amazing for a summer evening with friends. The fire pit and burger and fry food truck complete the atmosphere with occasional live music that does not disappoint. I've also done the J Rieger tour. Very interesting and fun to learn. I will say - my stomach was not made to handle a tasting of for straight liquors. However, all liquors are great quality and amazing drinks.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious and fun happy hour at J. Rieger & Co. Monogram Lounge last night before heading to the Uptown Theatre to see Charlie Berens. It's such an amazing space inside the distillery, and you can reserve table or lounge seating. We reserved lounge seating, and for four of us we had a nice table with a couch on each side. The service was absolutely impeccable, without being too much. Multiple people came by to clear plates, and just add a little assistance to our server. Since the happy hour offerings were such amazing deals, we decided to try everything on the menu . We tried the Kansas City ice water, the seasonal gin and tonic, the horse feather, and the old fashioned. The appetizers were the ginormous pretzel with cheese and mustard, pork belly with polenta, roasted brussel sprouts, perfectly crispy fingerling potatoes, and burnt ends. No pictures were taken due to enjoying the moment, but I did attach the happy hour menu for reference. I would make a reservation to ensure you have seating, the place filled up quickly after 5:00. Also you can book reservations in advance for the tour of the distillery, which is a ton of fun, and do not skip the slide!

Yelp
Outstanding Whiskey Tour with our tour guide Oonnor! He was very knowledgeable and quite fun. We will definitely be returning with friends!

Yelp
We took a visit here this weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. The staff was excellent. The person who organized the party didn't make reservations and everyone showed up so it was a bit of a cluster to find seating. But that was 100% on our group and not the staff. They were super accommodating, patient, and friendly. And they made it work. I had a couple of gin based drinks. I started with the Invisible Gin: Midwestern Dry Gin, apricot, pineapple, lemon, ginger soda. This was super tasty, light, and a great spring/summer cocktail. My second cocktail was the Break Maiden: Midwestern Dry Gin, passion fruit, blood orange ginger shrub, dry cider. This was amazing. It was so fresh and bright. They sell it to go and I was really tempted. I was able to snag a sip of the Shift Kicker: KC Whiskey, sherry blend, lemon, fresh berries. That wasn't my favorite, it was very sherry heavy, so I was glad I didn't order that one. We also ordered the pork rinds to snack on. They're topped with aleppo chile and lime. There were delicious. Warm. Crispy. Lovely spice and flavor from the Chile and lime. I would definitely get these again. They do also have a ginormous pretzel that's covered in cheese. It looks a bit like a cinnamon roll. I was able to try a bite of a friends and again, I was glad I didn't order it. The idea is fun but the execution just doesn't work. I'm sure they use a ton of lye and then have to bake the crap out of it to get it done because it's so large. This results in an overly chewy and burnt pretzel that's then covered up in cheese making virtually impossible to cut with a knife and fork. You shouldn't have to struggle cutting a soft pretzel or even have to cut it in the first place. It's one of those gimmicky things that people probably get once and then that's it. The lounge itself is super nice with lots of comfortable seating, games, and even a few tvs. Make sure to slide down the giant slide. It's fun for all ages. Let your inner child loose.

Yelp
We are not from the area but wanted to hit the hottest spots while in town. ***Go down the slide, Dont be a dud***!!! We just wanted dinner and to "slide" (no time to do the distillery tour) but was told to make reservations online for "upstairs" at the Monogram Lounge. We decided to show up early to see if we could walk-in and was seated within 5 mins on a Friday night! Service: 9/10 - our server was nice and gave us great recommendations. One point lost due to the slowness - slightly understandable for a Friday night though. Facility: 10/10 - beautiful historic old brick industrial building with hip urban upgrades inside. Loved it! Clean and cozy. Tables not too close together. Some seating are couches with low coffee tables to eat on, some are normal height tables with chairs. Food/Drinks: Drinks: 7/10: My teens asked for Shirley Temples but J.R. doesn't have grenadine (they make most of the drink mixes from scratch so no grenadine). They did instead get a old fashioned cream-sickle soda which they loved. I got a simple coke but it was flat. Boo. Hubby got a martini - he said it was good. Food: (mostly family style and for some reason the food pics aren't in the profile on yelp so you have to look at the reviews). Brussels Sprouts: 10/10 - requested them extra crispy and they were good! Salmon: 10/10 cooked well and seasoned well Pretzel: 7/10: Cheese was not hot and it had an overly condensed milk taste Cheddar drop biscuits: 8/10 - should have been served hot / warm. They were kind of cold KC Burnt Ends: 9/10 - requested non fatty pieces. Flavor was insane but a little too much fat to get a 10/10. Strawberry Cheesecake: 10/10. Our family of 4 shared one order and killed it. I'd come back again!!

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Went with a big group (15-20) for a holiday event, within 20 minutes we had one of the managers come over to my friend who was wearing a trump holiday shirt and told him he was cut off and needed to take it down a notch claiming he was "belligerent". I can assure you, the majority of our group was much louder and had had a lot more to drink than our friend who was cut off. They weren't even quiet about it and embarrassed him in front of an entire group of people. He didn't argue, sat at the end of the bar for over an hour completely quiet and was respectful the entire time. Completely unwarranted. It's 2024, why are we not allowed to wear a shirt that expresses our political beliefs?

Yelp
We did the distillery tour which was packed with a lot of information. Definitely a great one to visit while in KC. After the tour we had lunch on there outdoor area Electric Park which was delicious. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
This place was really interesting. Not a super great area, and listening to the train as we have cocktails is a little off. Inside, it's really fun atmosphere, and if you like whiskey, it's a fun experience. Three different places in one, including a speakeasy style bar. Would have loved some live music on a Saturday night! Our server Caleb was the highlight of our night!
google avatar

Kyla B.

Yelp
Wonderful Game Day experience. They have raffles and great game day specials. They recently added the Electric Park, an outdoor venue. I've loved watching the game here but now it's even better. We got some great food and drinks on special. If you are looking for a game day spot this is a great one! I did give it four stars because the screens inside and outside are off. If they fix that, 5 stars definitely. One is on TV. The outside was hooked to a computer. Food and drinks were delicious. Top quality ingredients. LOTS of seating options.Bathrooms we're specialists. They had a family bathroom with a baby changing station. Outside is family friendly!
google avatar

Janie G.

Yelp
It may be a little sketchy driving there and heaven forbid you get caught behind a train that won't move for 45 minutes. But once you step inside there is a nice oasis waiting for you. Lots of outdoor seating that is first come, first serve made with Rieger liquors. The drinks don't knock my socks off but they are solid and given the ambiance it's just a good time. Reminds me of the bars I used to go to in Austin, TX. There is a food truck outside with elevated carnival food (the French fries with the aioli sauce was really good!). But if you want more of a meal, don't fear... head upstairs to the monogram lounge. Then as a bonus you get to take the slide down (which I would 10/10 recommend). Didn't get a chance to visit the bar in the basement but I'm sure I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in for the first time last night with friends. We had so much fun exploring this amazing space. There's so much to see and do here. We stopped in the electric park for a drink before heading to the monogram lounge. The atmosphere was fantastic and our servers were amazing. We plan to come back for a distillery tour in the future.

Yelp
We are locals who love to explore what KC has to offer. We were watching an older ZipTrip episode presented by Fox4KC Morning crew when they featured J Reiger on their detour stop on the way to North KC. While this isn't our first time to J Reiger & Co it's been a while and this episode promoted us to select J Reiger as our outing. We decided we didn't want a fancy outing and dinner for our 31st wedding anniversary. When there is a great fall day in KC, you just have to get out and enjoy it from our perspective. The last time we were at J Reiger, the outdoor space wasn't completed and it is now. And what a great space to hang out. THe only mistake we made was leaving our Golden Retriever at home. The outdoor space welcomes your special friend. We started in the Electric Park space with cocktails (Seasonal G&T and Old Fashion) and food truck small bites (Truffle Parmesan Fries & Smash Burger). Both of these cocktails can be purchased pre-made to bring home which we did. There a so many variety of seating options, we went with the rockers and low table to play some Jenga that is provided. While we took care of getting our first cocktails, there were staff walking around to take care of next rounds removing items no longer needed. We leisurely enjoyed our late afternoon into early evening. The space began to fill up with many enjoying the 3-6p Happy Hour. We wanted to try out the 'swing seats' around the square table but left it to bigger groups. Next time. They also have fire pits for when the weather gets cooler. We decided we needed a proper dinner and went to the 2nd floor to The Monogram Lounge. We had the most fabulous Beef Tenderloin and KC Whiskey Cake. Since I wasn't the driver for our 30min drive home, I also tried the Break Malden which was also amazing and surprising. Laura F was our server and was a pleasure to converse with in addition to being knowledgeable and attentive. One of the fun parts of leaving the 2nd floor is taking the slide down back down to the main floor. Be prepared, it is very fast! Unfortunately, we had enough cocktails and wanted to drive home safely so we will have to save The Hey! Hey! Club to another time (think speakeasy). We will definitely be encouraging friends to have one of our next outings to J Reiger & Co. All in all - what an enjoyable 31st Wedding Anniversary.

Yelp
Stopped in for their distillery tour and four sample set. Cool one hour tour, lots of history on J. Rieger and the story of KC whiskey. Cool to see a distillery get off the ground (rebooted 2014) and learn more about liquors. Tour guide offered lots of info and answered all of our questions. We are not whiskey connoisseurs but even I could tell that the gin and whiskey were unique and good. Cool place with good feel, would recommend.

Yelp
My partner and I haven't been to J Riegers in like 6 years. We went to check out their Christmas pop up bar but wanted to check out the other bars first. I was pleasantly surprised by the ample seating and ambiance of the 2 different bars. One is outdoor seating inside a heated tent and the other has an enclosed window filled seating area (akin to a sun room). The game was on and many people were enjoying it. My hot whiskey cider was warm instead of hot but the flavor was good. My lactose enjoying partner said the distillers nog was great.

Yelp
A must see in Kansas City. I've always like J Rieger. During the pandemic, they turned bad into good by producing hand sanitizer instead of whiskey. I finally got to visit. The building is a beautiful piece of history. Inside you'll see a slide to your left and a beautiful museum on your right. They have a restaurant, a couple, and a tasting room. Ofcourse there's a shop as well. The museum has Kansas City prohibition history, ephemera. Maps! So many maps! The slide! So much fun going down the slide. We were provided a beer and ultimate kindness. The restaurant wasn't open and the tasting room wasn't available. It is a beautiful building, a piece of history that shouldn't be missed. I will remember my first trip to J Rieger, and there will be many more.

Yelp
Love me some J Rieger!! From the second that they opened to now I've been so thrilled that this business has embraced their history in Kansas City and brought such a positive new establishment to not only the East Bottoms, but also KC as a whole. Their liquors are high quality and I love the packaging. The tours that they offer are really informative and you really do get to experience the entire space and process. With this in mind, I think I'll just touch on the fact that the building itself is so beautiful and well-done. You've got the massive windows looking into the distillery, the slide, the wood and then obviously all of the decoration. We can't forget the new Electric Park outdoor space! Yummy cool drinks and a great patio, though it's been way too hot to hang out back there lately! Finally, the staff and ownership of J Rieger are kind and generous. I've had the privilege of working with some of them for local events and donations and it has been a pleasure. No signs of stopping my visits to this great place!

Yelp
I was excited to eat at J Rieger when I was in Kansas City. I've purchased their products before but had never been to the distillery. We shopped around the store and walked through the history of the distillery while we waited for the rest of our family to join us. It's a really beautiful space both inside and out. We were sat right away and order some drinks and appetizers. I tried a hot cocktail special which came in a mug to take home. They offered discounted refills which I took advantage of. We got the cheddar biscuits and the pretzel which were both great. I ordered the steak for my meal and was surprised for not being a steakhouse this was a really great steak! I also grabbed a bottle of horse feather cocktail on. My way out which we enjoyed the next day when I had made it back to St. Louis. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
We love to come to the chiefs watch parties at J Rieger. This is one of my new favorite places! The kids loved it too... kc wolf, the cheerleaders and raffles make the watch party the place to be! We loved it so much we bought all our friends gift cards to come for Xmas! I highly recommend checking out the history on the main level and doing a tour of the brewery.

Yelp
This was our second trip to the Monogram Lounge for dinner. Again, it was amazing! We ordered the burnt ends, orzo salad, and pretzel this time around. All of them were absolutely wonderful! I am sold that J Rieger has the BEST happy hour in town. We arrived and didn't think of happy hour...then, ended up ordering directly off of their happy hour menus. The drink are ahhhhmazing and there is definitely something for everyone there. While you are there, make sure to take a ride or two down the curvy slide :)

Yelp
Dang we were all so bummed out today as we brought a group down to try out the patio and atrium area. It looks nice but the fact they offer no real wine selections or wine by the bottle is a huge miss. All they had was some overpriced $12 wine in a can and for Chardonnay it was sparkling! Gross. This now becomes a hard pass sadly. Very limited food menu. No sense of urgency or service from staff. Looks like a lot of money has been invested here so a real disappointment to not have more variety.

Yelp
A must do visit in KC. The whiskey is an authentic family recipe. Terrific revival of an older buolding
