Jack in the Box

Not bad, also not the best either. Couldn’t hear the lady at the mic it was turned down too low. My salad was literally so pitiful looking - it looked like scraps. We also ordered a burger it was okay and the jumbo spring roll was pretty good as well.

Sadly our love of Jack in the box was destroyed by this restaurant. Being from California Jack was our go to place frequently, coming home from a trip we try to stop as the closest Jack is 6 hours away. Service was super slow, when we came in no one was around for a few minutes. The tacos were super greasy all over not just at the meat, its like their grease was not hot enough l, the Jumbo Jack (which is my favorite) was terrible, worst I ever had. The only saving grace were the "Loaded mini tacos" they we delicious. The restaurant needs some work and staff (there were 3) need some customer service work.

My boyfriend and I came from a concert in good spirits and looked forward to jack in the box because we remembered it from California. Unfortunately, we waited in the the drive thru for thirty minutes for two tacos and an order of French toast. I worked fast food before and it’s not difficult to take orders and have food ready to go. Will not be coming back to jack in the box for a while after this experience. The workers didn’t even bother to apologize

It was amazing to go to the Jack in the Box without any Sweet Tea. Us southerners love not having sweet tea. Also having no soda in the machine but cherry coke yay! I especially loved not having paper towels in the bathrooms and not having napkins in the dining area. Top notch.

Don't get the loaded wedges! The picture on the menu looks NOTHING like what you get. And it's a little pricey for what you get! Jack used to be a good place to eat but their quality has gone downhill.

My first time ever at one and it was very poor. Idk if it is just the chain or this resturant in particular but we wait 30 minutes to get our food. Sounded like the workers were mostly goofing off. They had several people bringing their orders back in to get it fixed inside and from drive thru.

Chicken sandwich was super dry and gross tasting. Iced coffee tastes like burnt coffee grounds mixed with tire. This is a very poor example of what Jack in the Box can be. I would rather eat at any other local fast food chain

This is my first time at Jack in the Box. I had been told it's less than par but I had to try it for my self. It's sad how poor management at one location can affect the way you look at the entire company. Walk in and put in my order only to be told the curly fries are out of stock. Ok I'll have jalapeño poppers . Then I see one of the workers get the out of the freezer in a prepacked portion bag and start beating it against the wall! lol I then ask if it would be better to just get fries and he said that would probably be the best. Thanks for you honesty! I then take my cup to the drink fountain to get ice which is out so back to the counter for that. No big deal. Now back to the drink fountain to get my drink and it's literally out of most all options! Back to the counter and he says if it's out at one it's out at both! How hard is it to keep your staple items in stock? The burger wasn't bad but was far from great. The fries were warm at best! Well I can say I've tried it but do not think I will be back! To many places that take pride in their restaurant and products they put out to live with mediocre at best!

I haven't had the chance to stop by a Jack in the Box until today. I usually pick the sourdough jack burger and the last time I had one was probably 7 years ago in another state (Bellingham WA). Service was fine, waited for the order and it was accurate. The overall restaurant was clean and well maintained. The old-school Jack in the Box face antenna covers were displayed as decorative near the front. My guess is that these are approaching 30 years old since Jack in the Box gave these promotional items out for car antennas. Onion rings were freshly cooked, and the overall experience was good.

This can't be true .. I order #4 and look what I got .. cold hamburger old stiff fries half way full for 12dls I order large size . It Was a rip off . I need my money back .. I came at 12:50 am 06/14/25 This kids need proper training. Food took more than 20 minute . I'm disappointed

When I tell you I was excited to see a Jack in the Box in Concord...there ain't no lie in that statement It's been 20+yrs since my taste buds had the pleasure of having a sour dough cheeseburger! Don't get me started on the best tacos at 1 in the morning after a night out!! I was truly hoping it was as good as I remembered. I was pleasantly surprised it was just as I remembered! It was my hubby's first experience and truly enjoyed the Smash-burger. Food was excellent. Cheese fries could have beet better. Only problem was we sat down and waiting 15 minutes for our food. Husband approached the "manager" not sure but she didn't have a name tag either...she seemed super bothered he was standing there. Saw him made eye contact and turned around to do something then just walked to the counter and stared at him. Not a hello, is there something I can help you with...anything to at least acknowledge his presence. We were the only two people inside. She came from the back cleared the screen and assumed that we had our food. Didn't ask...so we then waited about her 5-7 minutes for our food. I think her problem is she had her AirPods in and was on an actual phone call carrying on a conversation. Where the food hit the spot the customer service was lacking and I am just thankful the food was good!

It was a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. The place was closed. No signs, nothing. Considering we live 2 hours away and were anxious to go while visiting Charlotte it was a major let down UPDATE 3/23/24 I filled out the form on the URL provided by the JITB manager who replied to my review. I also gave my info so they could call me, and a gentleman just did. He said the store manager and three other employees were there, and they were "doing business all day." He didn't know why the doors were locked and said he would talk to the store about that and apologized. That was the extent of the conversation.

I have heard about jack in the box and thought - awesome I finally get to see what the big deal is. I'm still not sure. I found my angus bacon cheeseburger lackluster. The fries were decent, I love a good curly fry. But I guess I hoped that I would say, this is better than other chains but it was just - eh. I also was bothered when I pulled up and all the garbage was stored in the -1st drive through window. It made me question the cleanliness of the place even with a 97 score.

My first time eating Jack in the box and probably my last time. It wasn't terrible, but it was a t bottle of average. I had the new smashed burger and there was nothing different about it. Two greasy patties and that's about it. No toppings and two slices of bacon that had no taste at all. I paid $25 for something that Wendy's and Five Guys do much better.

First time, and absolutely the last. Out of every drink, along with half of the menu. Bathrooms were gross and the floors looked like they hadn't been swept in years. The service was terrible. Lady behind the counter didn't know what she was doing and didn't care about what customers need. Completely careless. We don't want these in the south, as you can see from the rest of the reviews that shared my experience

The inside lobby is constantly closed at all hours leaving only the drive thru open with a huge line. Always saying they are short staffed!! I avoid this location.

This place has the worst staff and even when you go on typical slow time, they are SUPER slow. Sunday at 10:30 Am is just as slow as Thursday at 10:30 Pm. A Dirty restaurant and poor service in an area FILLED with other options will not get my money.

Ordered tacos from the menu and this is what I received. What a joke. This is nasty. It looks like this company clearly doesn't care about the quality of food. Who in their right mind would put this in a bag for some one to eat. This is COVERED in grease and it's so bad it's pooling up at the bottom of the bags and seeping through. No idea why tacos should even be near that much grease. Even Taco Bell can do better then this. Hell you could poop in my hand and it would look more appetizing then this. I live less then 3 minutes from Here and just moved here and my jack in the box experience is ruined

So based off MY experience, my salad was great. Veggies were fresh and dressing was ok. My family ordered the tacos, my teen said she liked them, but hubby ordered a burger and fries and was very disappointed. Said no flavor and crazy greasy. Babies ordered fries and nuggets but only ate the fries.

When this place was open 24/7...it was decent but now they say their open but THEY CLOSE EARLY! Don't come here for late night eats! I was here by 10:30 PM and not a soul to be seen. I don't know what happened to 24/7 but the website is wrong, it's closed! Plus there was typical annoyance just for being there, I do not recommend at all if you're there for good customer service!

It's only 10pm and they don't have burgers, cheese, shakes. His excuse was that they don't receive inventory on Sunday so they're short of practically everything. How is that the customers problem? They either need a new manager who can do the inventory correctly or they need to give the current one better training like understanding the food cost because damn how disappointing.

Let me start the experience by letting everybody know that I used to go to Jack-in-the-Box after a night out back in the 70s, the tacos were two for a dollar. They really hit the spot after a night out. Moving on to present time I still enjoy the tacos when I'm in Charlotte, it brings back memories. The tacos are now two for $1.89. They are basic tacos meat cheese, lettuce add one pack of hot sauce and you've got a interesting tasting taco. They're not for everybody but they could be for you.

And... 45 mins still sitting here stuck in the drive-thru lane without anyway to get out or drive over the grass I realized coming here was a bad decision.

The only issue I have is the long wait in the drive thru, every time. Granted we are going kind of late at night , I'm going to assume everything is made to order because it takes them a while to get the food. The workers are also nonchalant. Some may take it as rude, I just take it as it's late they're open 24/7, they're just there lol. I honestly wouldn't expect them to be perky & cheerful lol. Anyway, I love me some Jack! Coming from California, Jack in the box is everywhere. Not sure why there's one in Charlotte and not anywhere else (that I know of in NC) but I'm happy it's here! The tacos and egg rolls are the death of me. They're so damn good! The review isn't on the food just drive thru service. Mainly the wait time. If you're really hungry, be prepared to wait a while for your food, especially if you order a lot.... good luck!

Jacks has a variety of burgers and meals. They also offer breakfast. But this is really my go to place for tacos. The shells are perfectly crunchy from being friend and the seasoned meat with cheese is a perfect combination, then add in the lettuce and bam a great taco for an awesome price. Probably not the healthiest but you must have once in awhile. The mini churros are also great as a dessert. Which we had a Jacks closer to Winston!

Small tacos, big flavor. People were complaining about the customer service, but our service was nothing but fast, thoughtful, and considerate. Onion rings looked great, but we didn't order them though. Wanted to give it a 7/10 but that's not an option.

Since this was close to my hotel, I went over here on a Saturday morning for a to go breakfast & lunch. One nice touch is that you can order any menu item 24 hours a day. The down side to that is a burger during breakfast hours adds a bit of wait time. The Ultimate Breakfast sandwich included ham and egg - good sized portion. Free wifi while I waited was nice. Wish Jack's would come to Raleigh!

Waited in line for 20 mins and when we asked the cashier for hot sauce she nodded her head NO and shut the window on us. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FOOD WASNT EVEN HOT. Never been thru a drive thru like this but hopefully this message helps.

Food is great, as always. But the service is terrible. You're regularly sitting in line for 10-20 minutes. This has been going on for atleast two years. The workers are usually very rude, and don't seem to care very much about their job. Two stars for the food only.

First time I've ever had Jack-in-the-box... (and last). The food was greasy and bland, and that was after a over long wait in the drive through line. There are several other choices of restaurants in the same area that would be a better choice than here.

Anytime I go out of town, I have to stop by and indulge. Its no thrills or frills. The store was clean. Service was fast and real friendly. Food was hot and fresh as usual. Thanks for making my trip!

Burger was great! Fries were lightly salted which is perfect and it was fast. Would definitely go back.

First time ever in a Jack in the box Restrooms: I've been in hot summer port-a-potties that smelled better! Filthy Gross Food was meh...wait was long for fast food dine in. Watched other disgruntled customers get their order, have an issue and they wouldn't correct it. They walked out and threw away their entire order in anger.

Food is delicious but I didn't notice any mask being worn and we are still battling COVID-19.

This former Californian was very excited to see a Jack in the Box-- we have these in the South?? Jack in the Box has a special place in my heart. They have a ton of food options, with breakfast all day, and some good treats for vegetarians. I love me some curly fries and jalapeno poppers, and Jack's are super yummy. The roughest part of my visit was the wait time. I stop for fast food and expect it to be pretty fast, especially when my order is minimal. I waited far too long for my food here, 2 tacos and an order of curlys took close to 8 minutes when I was the only one in the drive thru. On the plus side, the food was nice and hot and the fries were definitely fresh. Not the greatest, not the worst!

We don't have In-n-Out, or Whataburger, but this is pretty damn good for not having either! Having stopped here multiple times over the years, I can attest to the fact that both breakfast and lunch are fabulous! This morning it was the classic Sourdough Jack! Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiched between two grilled pieces of Sourdough! Some oddities that will surprise you-Grilled French Toast Sticks, Egg Rolls, and Tacos! I know, these seem odd for a burger joint, but well worth your taking the risk!

I've only had Jack-in-the-Box one other time before in my life and this location was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at. We thought it might be nice to have something different than what we usually get. It was late in the evening and I think they were getting ready to close soon. The employee taking my order at the window was OK not very friendly but not rude either. I do wish he would've handled one situation better though. While I was at the window some other person walked up in between my car in the window and was trying to order there because the dining area was closed. The employee at the window wasn't letting him do that and the guy was getting kind of upset. It was very awkward sitting two inches from all of it. The employee getting frustrated with the guy just walked off leaving us at the window until the guy left on his own. I really didn't like the employee leaving me alone to deal with this guy. When we got back to our hotel room we open up our food and immediately wished we had gone somewhere else because the food wasn't good. I don't know if it's always like that or if it's because it was so late but the food was very greasy. I won't be back.

first time having jack in the box and i will never be back. first of all they charged over $2 for a water which is beyond me... second i open the box of the loaded tiny tacos and start mixing the stuff up and what do i see? a long ass hair. im sick to my stomach and extremely pissed. this was a traumatic experience.

WORST place ever. These people ignore you at the drive through for 10 MINUTES straight. Happened to person in front of AND behind me. VERY poor service waste of your precious TIME. They don't even ask you to hold on. Just NOTHING like you aren't even there. Didn't even get food delivered after 20 MINUTES of disrespectful "non service" with zero verbal words even offered.

worst Jack in the box I've ever visited. The customer service is HORRIBLE! I ordered all cheese burgers plain. They came out NOT plain, which I wasn't upset about. People make mistakes HOWEVER the girl roles her eyes at me and said "ugh oooooook" The food took extra long for them to remake it. Because of the extreme attitude I couldn't help to think it was intentional. She brought the burgers back out and threw them on the table. My son politely said "thank you" and she didn't respond and walked away. I will NEVER come back to this place and I encourage you to steer clear of this one as well.

Food quality is the same as all JTB's we have been too. Drive through machine was not working too well. We ended up having to drive around to place our order. Prices are the same as I remember a few months back.

Coming from California, Jack in the Box is basically a way of life for me. The tacos dipped in ranch (definitely something everyone should try), seasoned curly fries & chicken sandwiches are normally pretty decent fast food. Traveling through here to go to Maryland, my boyfriend & I stopped as a rest stop & to grab a bite. This is the best, hands down, Jack in the Box I've been to in my entire life. Everything was fresh & crispy, almost like I was experiencing a brand new fast food restaurant for the first time again. I ordered he spicy chicken sandwich & it was perfect. The fries has just been pulled & freshly seasoned. My boyfriend got 2 tacos (no, he didn't dip them in ranch), a Big Jack with cheese & a side salad. By the time we sat down to eat, the tacos were basically gone. I heard him bite into one & the crunch was just perfect. All Jack in the Boxes need to function like this one. If I ever drive through here again, you will definitely see me here again.

Just disappointed at the time spent in the drive thru, after receiving order really disappointed in the little amount of fries for $2+ tax. Management was decent about addressing it, still just disappointed that they try to justify small portions and slow service with the prices they have.

Live to stop by here for special occasions. Have since they first opened! It's nostalgia time every time, so I am a bit biased. Always friendly inside and at the drive-thru. Unfortunately, I can only visit infrequently because they are 80 miles from home. Y'all need to pony up and extend your reach up the I-85 corridor like you did to the I-77!

First timer here ever trying Jack In the Box.. I had heard some mixed reviews. Always either "I love their burgers, you have to try so and so" or "it is awful.." Never in between. I was very pleasantly surprised with my drive through experience. I decided to go with the Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack and curly fries (I didn't know they had curly fries.. Heck yea!!). It was all so good.. You could definitely taste the garlic herb butter and bacon mayo on the burger. It was for sure one of the better fast food burgers I have ever had, and curly fries are always good. They are very similar in taste to Arby's curly fries, golden and crispy. For some reason there are no Jack In the Box locations remotely close to Raleigh, that I am aware of. This is probably a good thing because I think I will have to go to the gym for a whole week to work this meal off..

This place is alright... pretty convenient to I-85 and Concord Mills. Nothing really special to report here... just fast, efficient, friendly service... with a very clean dining room.

Jack in the Box has become my de facto fast food joint due to their no-holds-barred menu attitude. All meals are available all day, and they range from egg sandwiches to tacos. I mean, really? Where else can someone get a pair of tacos and a burger that are decent in one stop? They offer two types of fries for those that want variety, plus hashbrown sticks. This place is by no means "healthy", and their adds flaunt that! It's refreshing to see a business let loose and except that they're the glut-vanna! We the people frequent places like this to serve out craving for fast, fun, fantastic foods! Why can't Jack cut loose too! This particular location is conveniently located close to home, but otherwise it is rather tricky to navigate in and out of. Try to avoid on weekends, as the traffic from Concord Mills will no doubt drive you insane! Noosh!

I have always seen the commercials and had to try it while we were in the area. I was disappointed by the burger. It ranks with McDonalds to me. The fries were the only good part of the meal. They have a lot of variety on their menu. I may try again one day.

Oh...my....gosh. If this place didn't ruin my memories of jack in the box..... on vacation, I convinced the whole group to go. Worst mistake. The food was so extra greasy. My love got some Nuggets- they weren't done and soaked with grease. My boy got the sriracha burger, thumbs down. No one was impressed but the kids. Glad you can't mess up a pancake.

Worst Jack-in-the-Box ever. I'm a California native where Jack's are on every corner. I now live in Raleigh, so Jack in the Box is a special treat I only get when we travel to Charlotte. I lived off of JITB tacos in college and they were always tasty and fast. This particular location is slow and the food is sub-par. It took us over 20 minutes to get our food tonight. Seriously?! I've never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. There were no napkins out, no paper towels in the restrooms. Avoid.

My fiance and I came to this jack and in the box when we visited Charlotte. We were waiting to order our food. The cashier had her screaming kids in the restaurant and she also had the worst attitude. Next thing we knew she locked the restaurants doors !! We were completely shocked at this horrible customer service. Needless to say we did not give this business our money because of the rude employee! I hope anyone else who visits this place does not have the same shitty experience that we did.

Stopped in and got the jumbo jack with curly fries, other than the cheap bun the food was what you'd expect. The food wasn't the issue though, everything else was. Service was meh, typical do the minimum necessary attitude, prices are a little high for the quality and the dining area was clean (highlight of the trip). The bathroom though, my god why did I go in. Toilet paper and a diaper on the floor, rust and what looked like mold on fixtures and that tile hadn't been cleaned in ages if ever. That alone has scared me off from ever coming back.

First time going to a Jack In The Box, and it was really good. Great service and good food.

Your basic burger joint. Had some cool sides that aren't usually available in fast food restaurants so that was a plus. Nacho cheese for fries makes me nostalgic for Philly. That did set it a step above many ff restaurants. Overall, better than many but I'm still looking for the Magic ff restaurant.

While the facility was relatively clean, I was quickly reminded why it's been 15 years since I last put this food in my mouth. The burger was disgusting on a level equal to what I imagine purina dog food would taste like. They need to change the name to Crap In The Box.

Excellent service, food was fresh and hot. Location on Bruton Smith Blvd by CLT Speedway
