This is such an amazing diner! I would highly recommend coming here to this diner. We enter and the staff is so nice, this place is old and still really well run! It even has some merchandise for sale at the cashier in the front (hats, tshirts…) there are so many tables so I assume it can get really busy! I got some eggs Benedict, my family got some sandwiches which were spectacular!! Those sandwiches stole the show. We also got some onions rings. The music and atmosphere was so sweet. And the staff made sure we had our water cups full all the time ! Which is a huge plus in this Florida heat. We got some takeaway tins because the portions were amazing for the price ! Anyways, I highly recommend popping by here even if your just passing by, or in the area (like we were). Amazing !

We really enjoyed the genuine diner feel & the food! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was honestly the best steak I’ve had in America so far! It beats all the other restaurants I’ve been to, even the steakhouses. We also enjoyed our server, she was really nice and attentive. We love this place! Really awesome 24-hour diner with great atmosphere excellent service and delicious food. Very authentic retro style interior and exterior. The menu is pretty simple and very straightforward diner food with super reasonable pricing. Just in town for a couple of days and was staying near this place when I decided to try it. Walked over from the hotel pretty late at night and couldn't be more impressed. The waitress was awesome really patient and very helpful. I got the chicken fried steak with home fries and eggs. Everything was just right. The cook was friendly and obviously very capable. I'm in town for a couple more days and definitely plan on going back at least once, hopefully more haha

Karina was absolutely wonderful! She greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home at Jack’s Diner. She recommended the pancakes - and she wasn’t lying when she said the pancakes taste like cake - they were fluffy, delicious, and honestly some of the best I’ve had! Shout out to the chef and all the staff as well because every single person in here greeted us with a warm welcome and smile!! Everything else we ordered was amazing too. Her service was friendly, fast, and thoughtful throughout. Thanks to Karina, we’ll definitely be coming back when in the area.

Came in just looking for a decent omelet, left with a full belly and a new appreciation for diner magic. The omelet was fluffy, cheesy, and packed with all the good stuff (shoutout to the bacon for showing up big). But let’s talk about Mac—our server. This one deserves their own apron with “Eggcellence in Service” embroidered on it. Service was fast, funny, and somehow knew I needed coffee before I did. Hash browns? Crispy perfection. Coffee? Strong enough to wake the neighbors. If you’re ever at Jacks, ask for Mac. She and that omelet will turn your whole night around.

A great, old fashioned diner experience in Hollywood Florida. I visited by myself last month, and was so impressed with the food, that I had to bring my wife. They serve breakfast all day. We both got the corned beef hash skillet. My wife agreed that it was an amazing dish. The service is friendly and efficient. The servers really know their stuff. The prices are also very reasonable. A truly enjoyable diner experience.

The menu is very extensive with pages and pages of breakfast, sandwiches, and other diner fare. They have daily specials that change frequently. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. Every time we've been, the waitresses are pleasant and accommodating. Bonus for those with different schedules or just needing something yummy in the wee hours of the night, they are open 24 hours, which is a rare find post-covid. It's definitely worth a stop.

Another brunch spot that we found by luck. Albeit great reviews on Yelp but you never know. It doesn't feel like an old school diner, it IS an old school diner and has all the same charm. We've eaten multiple times since and have not had a single bad item. That aside, the pricing is fantastic. Feels like what we should be paying for things today without all the inflated prices you see at most restaurants. Our servers were great and helped us along the way. Our food fantastic. In particular, I like to get the eggs Benedict. They come out perfectly cooked with a fantastic hollandaise sauce. Overall I highly recommend this spot.

I ordered the fried tilapia sandwich, which came with a side of fries, and a Belgian waffle with banana. The total came to $22.50, which is reasonable, though be aware there's an upcharge for using a credit card. The fried tilapia sandwich was spot on the fish was perfectly fried, with a crispy exterior and tender, flaky inside. The waffle was exactly what you'd want in a diner waffle: light, fluffy, and the bananas added a nice touch of sweetness. The vibe at Jack's is what really sets it apart. The staff was fun and welcoming, and the cook in the back was playing hip-hop music, adding a laid-back, cool atmosphere to the whole experience. Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is a hidden gem. I've must have drove pass this place a million times. We decided to stop in for lunch after fishing and was not disappointed. Wait staff was amazing and had us seated and ordered mins. I had the country fried chicken and mashed potatoes with corn bread. Chicken was fried fresh / crispy / and seasoned to perfection. Definitely top fried chicken. Mashed potatoes was definitely savory and delicious. Corn bread was a little on the dry side but was ok. My wife's baked potato was super soft and cooked to perfection.kids burgers and tenders was also on point. I will definitely be back in the future.

Patron for 55 years. I am writing this review for one reason only, Great Service! I did not go to Jack's much for dinner. But I discovered a great server whose name is "Dana". She works the 3 to 10 shift Wednesday thru Friday She is the best server I have ever had. I am almost 80, so you can imagine how many servers I have had in my life. Dana is the absolute best. She's friendly, congenial and makes absolutely sure your meal is everything it should be. I go there for her. What's better than a waitress that brings in customers. She is a diamond in the rough!!!

Don't worry when you pull in the lot and can't find a parking space. Just give it a minute because the tables are always turning. You won't be disappointed. Three of us on a Saturday morning in for the first time. Saw a full lot. Saw a line out front. Almost left. Dropped the two others at the door and went looking for a parking spot. Before I could park and get in the door they were seated. Wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Sorry I could not remember her name but she was fun. Told us the corned beef hash omelette was the best. She was right! The portions were the right size, the service is fast, the staff is amazing, and the food is high quality and great flavors. What else do you want??

Came here with a small group. At first, I thought we made a huge mistake. It was dingy. And not welcoming. But we stayed and our waitress was very attentive. We had a mixture of breakfast foods and burgers and salads. I honestly don't know if I would go back as it didn't have that warm feeling but it was worth a try since it was near my friend's hotel. I do think they could modernize the place just a tad to make it more upbeat.

I come to Jack's at least a couple times a week for breakfast. The food is good diner food, fast, tasty and somewhat priced well. The best and most consistent service I get is at the counter where Maria seems to be the waitress du jour and gives Jack's that "personality" you look for in a diner. She does a great job and makes coming back enjoyable. As far as "ambiance"...folks, it's a diner, it's loud, crowded at times, but overall a great place to eat classic American Diner breakfast.

This place is a must in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, they're open 24 hours. It's like stepping back in time to the 50,s era. Mom and pop type of diner. I had the opportunity to meet one of the servers, Jenna; who was absolutely amazing. She was very personable, attentive, while I was there I observed her make every guest feel right at home. Doesn't look like much from the outside, isn't the nicest dining room however What a pleasant surprise and it's open 24-7 w free parking. This is one of those whole in the wall places people talk about! A large menu with something for everyone, excellent service, from the waitress "Taz" and excellent food made by journeyman chef/coook Lee! Both are extremely nice and great at what they do! As you can see from the pictures very large portions at reasonable prices! Not far from Dania Point, we will definitely be back!

After all the times I have drove past Jack's Hollywood Diner. If I had only known this place served some good food...well I'm here now. Open 24 hours; serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with daily specials from 11am - 10pm. Upon entering, the place was already filled with customers enjoying their meals. I greeted one of the staff who told me to sit anywhere in the diner. While overlooking the menu, I noticed there were so many tasty dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable. I'm not big on eating out for breakfast, but when I do, my go-to is French toast. I ordered the Super French Toast - two thick slices of cinnamon flavored French toast (lightly dusted with powdered sugar) served with my choice of scrambled eggs and strips of bacon, and a glass of orange juice. The food was prepared nicely. Though it was filling, I managed to eat everything. The staff is pleasant and their service is on point with making sure things are to your liking or if you needed anything. Hopefully I can find the time to return and try other dishes. It will be very convenient to get something decent to eat on those days that I work late.

ORDERED: Small House Salad $4.29 OK Open Faced Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. $13.24 Came out barely warm. Had to send it back. Took so long to come back I though it was being remade. Still, not really hot but edible. Portion was OK for the price but the gravy tasted like it came from a can.

I also really liked the sausage links. I didn't like the hash browns, they really had no taste, very bland. My husband had the same as me and agreed about the hash browns. I had the meat omelette with a side of sausage links and a side of short stack next time I will not get the links because the omelette was enough with the stack. We came for breakfast on a Friday. They were busy but were able to seat us immediately. This is a historical silver diner serving traditional diner food. It was crowded and messy, but not filthy--just like they were swamped with people and couldn't keeps the floor pristine. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. She kept the coffee and water filled. Hubby got the 2,2, 2-He loved his pancakes-remarked they were thick. I got a huge portion of oatmeal (I'm a Weight watchers lifer). Overall, good meal.

I am in town for a day for a gig and I decided to look for a diner because in wanted pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I decided on Jack's Hollywood Diner because they had good reviews. The owner, who was cooking at the time, played a joke on me, which I loved. The first pic was the plate my server, Jenna, put down: An order of tiny pancakes with tiny bacon with tiny eggs lol. She said, "Here you go honey. The owner is cutting back on costs." I said, "Apparently!" We all laugh and then she gives me my real plate. It was great. The vibe is laid back as well. I'll definitely be back. P.S. Jenna said to try the Oreo Cake. I'm not going to eat cake after having pancakes but I'll get it when I try another entree :)

My friends go to breakfast here. I used to go pre covid when they had a wonderful chef, they stole from PF Changs, couldnt beat the meatloaf and it was only $9.99 and all his specials where amazing. Fast foward last week, tons of traffic on Hollywood blvd , we decided to give Jacks a try and wait out traffic. I had one of the specials, Beef Stroganoff ($15.95) my husband, Fish and chips ($12.95). No salad, no sides just straight up, no bread,cup of soup, nothing else. My Beef Stroganoff came in a bowl not much bigger then a cereal bowl. It was not that bad tasting but a ton of nutmeg and cinnamon, not my thing, more small then anything else, next my husbands fish and chips. Where two tiny pieces of fish and a portion of fries, from a childs menu..we looked at each other as the waitress said do you need lemon? Do you have to ask? Overall food again 2 stars but portions are tiny and no sides or appetizers, come with dinners, all a-la carte here, along with our two ice teas, and tip almost $45 bucks. Better options elsewhere ..its your money you decide

I have to admit I wasn't expecting anything perfect here since I was still recovering from a hangover the night before. I was still so tired while my stomach was almost screaming (ok, I meant growling.) from hunger. It was also a little after 8am. I seated myself at the barstool to be greeted with a friendly hello from Sharonda. Then, she asked if I needed some coffee and to that I said of course. The hot beverage arrived right away. I enjoyed some of that. Then, I asked for the vegetarian omelette and, to my surprise, it was not even 10 minutes-- it was right in front of me. I chowed down most of it. It was also more food than I expected. I was able today enjoy a 2nd round of coffee here as well. No feel of rush for you to miss that, which makes this a pleasant experience of being here. This is a good place and they take care you here. I've been here a couple times before this but they were nothing memorable.

It breaks my heart to write this, as my previous 2 reviews sang praises, but my family and I will no longer frequent Jack's due to the service. It seems things have gone downhill in this department since switching owners. As a family, we've loved this establishment for at least 20 years, if not more. On Sunday, at 7AM on 11/26, we were a party of 18. I do know it's a lot for this specific restaurant, but we got there early so it wasn't yet busy. All of us came in within 10 minutes of each other (first 6, then 5, then the last 6) and we're ready to order by 715. We told the waitress getting our drink order we were going to need separate checks and she said to inform the waitress taking our order. Once we were all together, the waitress comes over and says we cannot do separate checks and it will be one check. Separate checks have never been an issue in the past, so we were trying to explain this; just take the orders of the people on one check and move on (we needed it split 4 ways). One waitress said very loudly and rudely, something along the lines of this is too much, you can deal with this mess. Not wishing to have our food tampered with as the staff was clearly unhappy, that sealed the deal, and we left after paying for our drinks. Although I love the food here, they've lost my business due to their service and I've personally frequented this establishment since 2009. I also did try to reach out to them directly using the contact us email option on their website, but it's gone unanswered for over a week at this point.

I decided to try some place different then I usually do. The menu looked really good, lots of different things to choose from. First thing I noticed is the AC was either turned off or not working right, it was very warm and stuffy inside. Even though it was a bit stuffy inside it surely didn't stop the service because it was very good and the food wasn't bad. The best thing was what my daughter had, a bagel with cream cheese and lox/nova. She said it was really good, the cream cheese wasn't hard to spread and there was no shortage of lox/nova. Now my wife had a Leo with hash browns. She really liked the Leo, but didn't care for the hash browns. And as for me I had the t-bone special. It came with two sides. I got two vegetables, corn and broccoli. The steak was good but the broccoli stole the show. It was cooked perfect. Now on the other hand the corn, it could of used some serious help! There is no way it was fresh. It definitely was frozen corn. I was very disappointed with the corn. With all the options on the menu I'm sure I'll try this restaurant again.

We enjoyed our breakfast here this Labor Day weekend. The customer service was great. Our waitress was funny and friendly. The food was prepared very quickly. Faster than we ever expected. It was flavorful and hot! We actually joked that the cook must have listen to us order and start cooking it on the spot because it was so fast and hot!! Great place!

Update for my last review, and pleased to say I gave Jack one more try. Everything was excellent. The service was excellent. The food was excellent, the wait time was good and even parking was not a problem. It's a 24 hour diner, which is kind of a rarity in itself. Great job Jack!

My mother and I were touring the city looking for housing and we stumbled upon Jack's. We love a good diner so we were excited to try this 24/7 place. I will say that it was little difficult to find driving from the street as we didnt see any big signs but we were able to find it before I zoomed on by in my car. \Walking inside I guess we came in through the side entrance and there was no one there! We quickly found a sign that said to come to the front area and we walked through a small hallway and found ourselves in the main entrance. We found a booth and our server was Mac. They got our order quickly and were very attentive to us throughout our entire time there. So right off the bat, service was great! My mom ordered the Tuna melt with swiss and I had a philly cheesesteak with a side salad. The food omg was soooo good. The tuna melt was on a buttery crispy rye bread and had so much delicious tuna and cheese on it that it was exploding (and thats ok we love that). My philly was tasty and the bread roll it was on was soft and chewy and a little crispy. Perfect amount of meat and cheese and onions. Side salad was good too nothing too special but very fresh cucumbers and tomatoes which were yummy. Everyone was super nice and took care of us the whole time. I love that this place is open 24/7 and since I'm moving to the area I would definitely frequent this place often! I recommend this place if you want a quick and tasty meal at any time of the day or night!

24 hour casual diner with the quintessential interior (bar stools and booths). My wife had the tuna melt with side of onion rings - very comforting and filling. I had the super crazy jack skillet with steak, eggs, cheese, potatoes (don't recommend, wasn't good). They have a great sauce selection of cholula, crystal, tabasco, blue cheese, honey mustard and more! Service was great!

I always go to this diner ...consistently the food is great and the service is amazing ...A few weeks ago my friends and I went to this diner after a night out in the early hours of the morning to grab something to eat before we went home. My friend took off his Rolex watch and placed it on the table where we were seated. We got up and left after eating..the next day he realized he hadn't picked up the watch so I called the diner and spoke to the supervisor who told me they had actually found the watch and secured it. Guys...cmon,who really does such an honest deed in these times,especially since it was a Pepsi Rolex worth over 20k??? These people are so honest and deserve to be recognized for their deed. We are eternally grateful and appreciative of this..to the management and staff of Jack's-you guys rock!!!! Honest and great food-what a combination-I highly recommend this diner any day!!!

We arrived in FL early evening; by the time we checked into our VRBO it was past 11:00 pm and we were hungry. I searched and found this quaint diner open 24/7 with a 4 star rating. The menu offers an array of eats sandwiches, Italian favorites, their own specialties like meatloaf, and of course burgers to name a few. The environment is casual; I didn't see outdoor seating, and only service dogs are welcome. I ordered the BLT crispy, no Mayo with mustard on the side with a side of Tots for an added $1 - well worth it. This came with a pickle and a small cup of coleslaw (the side you'd get ranch in, but it was enough!). My meal came just as ordered and it was good!! And my meal was $10.99 (after the tots was added). Smokin deal for good food!! My hub ordered the egg salad sandwhich, with the same sides that I had. He stated it was good! I would recommend this place for and affordable good experience. It's not fancy, but it certainly delivers a solid 4 stars on food. This place offers a number of desserts and milkshakes!

Had dinner the other night after work, and I had a blast with Jenna she was quick and anticipated all my needs before I even knew I had them. She helped me pick out a dish since it was my first time and I loved the Hollywood skillet she recommended. I look forward to coming back and having her again soon. also loved the diner dive vibe!

Enjoyed the Beef Stew last night, served by Karina. My dinner companion had the Fried Shrimp dinner with Karina's special fresh blend cocktail sauce. Both dinners were great, as was the service. I recommend the Beef Stew aside is thick and flavorful. While the food and diner atmosphere are great, it is the service provided by Karina, as well as others, that make the experience something that you will remember and want to repeat.

Great service. Short wait. This place is packed and they keep on coming. Sounds like a bunch of regulars and tourists mix. The food is incredible. The sweet tea is perfection not syrupy not a bite of unsweet perfectly steeped and sugared!!! Smells amazing. The sausage gravy is crazy good! Slapped over the grilled biscuits will make your mouth so happy! The cornbeef hash is old school canned, seriously diner style and it's grilled up to perfection. The shredded hash browns have the perfect amount of crunchy and soft pieces! Worth a trip if you are nearby

Reading the great reviews, as I am not a breakfast eater, but after an early doctor appointment we decided to go there, as every time we drive bye I see the place is busy. First we ordered a Bloody Mary, it was the worst drink we ever had. Very small glass, quality was not there, and the food was also disappointing. I had the corned beef hash, and I can say, I certainly, not going out of my way to eat there again, the waitress had no personality for working with customers. Very cold, with the customers .

Such good, home style cooked food. I can't ever complain and I always get something different. I only go for breakfast/brunch. Service is not bad! The ladies are friendly, funny sometimes, and overall just quick! Very much a diner and the vibe to match! Busy but they'll almost always find you a table!
