Jade River

This has genuinely been the best Chinese takeaway I’ve come across in a very long while. I’d consider it a hidden a gem. From the first bite I could taste the quality in food. For someone who considers themselves as a picky eater I was left very impressed.

Our second takeaway from here. We now travel from Tring to collect. Best Chinese we've had in years. A proper takeaway! Nowhere close to us offers such good food & very reasonably priced.

Jade River is our regular chinese takeaway, and is easily one of the best in the area. We always order the same thing, and by this point they know us by name! We order plant-based, and they are happy to accommodate us by removing egg from our favourite noodle dish (mixed vegetable vermicelli) without any fuss! The service is top notch, and Tony is always so smiley and happy to see us—he is an integral part of our Jade River experience (though anyone that has served us there has been incredibly friendly and kind) 🙏 There’s a reason they’re always so busy! Thanks Jade River 🥰

Amazing place, food is great! Normally about 30-40 min wait so not too long. Only problem is trying to call in is a nightmare on the weekend and Friday because the food is so good!

Best chinese in Dunstable, food is always cooked to perfection highly recommend jade river. We wont use any other Chinese

I have had chinese from here a couple of times its alwasy been really nice and enjoyable however the food i ordered today was terrible clumpy mushy egg fried rice, flavourless greasy chow mein, batter undercooked in chicken balls and undercooked spring rolls and garlic chicken was slimy awful take away and a waste of 60 quid I would like my money back as it's has also made my partner ill

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. I love the Mongolian Lamb and miss it any time we go elsewhere. There is delivery but I always collect. Cash and card accepted.

We LOVE chinese food, but for some reason have never used Jade River. Well, that had to be corrected, and tonight was the night! Although it was for just the two of us, we were taken with the set meal C, for three persons. Having both got 'healthy' appetites this wasn't deemed to be a problem, so went ahead and ordered it. We browsed one of the newspapers that were available for customers' use, and hadn't got through much of it before our meal was ready. On getting it home, my first thought was that we'd been given the wrong meal - the chicken balls were more like fillets!! Honestly huge, not horrid old 'formed' meat, but really beautiful chicken breast, the batter was just right - not too thick. The prawns in black bean sauce were huge, the spare ribs and sauce really tasty and tender, the beef and mushrooms dish was really lovely - need I go on?!!! All in all, I'm very happy to recommend the Jade River, the place was spotless and the staff that we met this evening were happy and charming. Will I be going back? Too right I will, and very soon!

Had an excellent chinese meal delivered from here today. I have been using the place for years and have always had great service. The food arrived piping hot and is reasonably priced would recommend!
