Jaeger Haus

Fantastic Jaeger schnitzel and classic Hofbrau beer. The schnitzel was seasoned to perfection, I got it with spaetzle and it was such a great meal. For dessert we got the apple strudel which was also perfect. Definitely glad we stopped by here for dinner while in town for the weekend.

Came here with friends for dinner and was not disappointed. Ordered 2 apps, 3 meals, 3 desserts, and multiple beers... I know were lushes. Everything, including the attentive staff (even though we were the only table outside), was amazing. Food was so delishly flavorful and yummy. Can't wait to return!

Came in with my 6 year old daughter and had a lovely experience. Staff were all very attentive and kind. Food was amazing (my daughter ate the whole schnitzel herself. The decoration and art on walls is beautiful too. All deserts we tried were phenomenal and made in house.

The only reason I didn't rate this place a 1, is because when we finally got our food, it wasn't half bad. The service, however, was horrible! We were seated at the bar with only one other couple, and had to wait a significant amount of time for draft beer! (and it wasn't as if the bartender was swamped with table orders)...I'm not sure what she was doing much of...besides looking at her phone... the place was also sticky...we couldn't figure out quite why...maybe the wrong cleaning product? It was far more than poorly wiped spilled beer...this was more of a don't place your purse, or your elbows, or your utensils on the counter...gross. We will not be returning.

$36 for the Wiener Schnitzel was way overpriced and not the best we've ever had. Very good spaetzle but not enough of it. Less red cabbage and more spaetzle please. Potato pancakes were an extra charge and tasted greasy and a bit overcooked. Servers were very young and inexperienced. The dining room is a bit grim but the bar where we should have dined looked very inviting. Nice little patio too. The worst thing though was that the Sacher Torte was served very cold right out of the fridge. This cake needs to sit out at room temp for at least 30 minutes before serving. My first time having this famous desert and it was spoiled by the way it was served. They should have known better. We lingered while eating it and as it warmed a little the flavors took hold. For $14 this slice of cake should have been SO much better!

We have wanted to try this place for some time and finally got the chance. Sadly, we were disappointed. Having been to Europe I think we had high hopes. Having said that, we have eaten German food in the states and been pleasantly surprised. My favorite dish here was the potato pancake ... ironically the only dish I felt had flavor. When I say food was missing flavor I mean there was not even salt and pepper. We tried a variety of dishes. Feel that the prices are high for what is being offered. Portions were more towards the small side. Presentation was nice. Service was decent. I am glad we tried this place but do not expect to be back. *EDIT* In response to the owner: I was not going to send the food back and have it be remade for the fact that I appreciate the difficulty in securing food these days. But, I shouldn't have to ask for seasoning in my food, it should come with it. I also stated I was happy to experience this establishment just most likely wouldn't return. However, I really would like to point out I never once said I couldn't afford the food I just mentioned it was pricey. I find it very rude that you would assume someone cannot afford your food and if that is the case perhaps you agree it is too expensive for what you provide.

The Jaeger Haus has delicious, authentic German food. I had the pork schnitzel with spetzele and sauteed spinach and my partner had the same but with chicken schnitzel. Both were delicious. For dessert we had an apple strudel that was out of this world. We also had the German and the local beer sampler which came with 5 beers each to taste. The local beer sampler consisted of IPA beer that I really dislike. These IPA turned out to be equally distasteful to me - but that's just me. I liked 3 out of 5 of the German beers but none tasted like the beer I remembered when I lived in Germany. Again, just my opinion. But the food is incredible. I almost forgot, I had the potato pancake with applesauce and sour cream. I could have made a meal out of it. So good!

Wonderful experience and expertly prepared meals. Everything is prepared in house and we enjoyed every bite. And ordering Hofbrau beer clinched it.

On our way back from meeting our new grandson for the first time in Rhinebeck ((born early this morning, 10-4-25, and everyone doing splendidly) , we stopped at one of our favorite local places for authentic tasting German food--Jaeger Haus (5084 NY-9G) in Tivoli, NY.  My one sentence review for card-carrying members of team Cliff Notes: "German beer on tap, a good selection of German wines, and authentic tasting German cuisine at really reasonable prices served up by friendly staff in an environment which just exudes Gemütlichkeit."  Everyone else is invited to continue reading, Bitte. There used to be numerous German restaurants in NYC and throughout upstate NY, but over the years those numbers have dwindled substantially to a handful.  A relatively new addition to the local Hudson Valley dining scene Jaeger Haus was started in 2018 (in a 70 year old restaurant building) and serves up seriously tasty and authentic tasting German beer, wine, and food.  We've dined there a few times over the last two years of visiting this year--the mood is relaxed, the beer is delicious, and food remind us of our travels to Germany and Austria.  The menu is tight and by that I mean it's focused on what they do well--which is traditional German food. While I wish they might add a few classic German appetizers to their menu for variety, their range of entrees provides ample choice and I am slowly making my way through those selections. Lola, one of our servers for the evening, quickly took our drink orders.  I ordered a mug of Hofbrau Original Lager (on tap) and after being given a tasting, my wife ordered a pint of Hofbrau Weissbier (which is similar to the sort of wheat beer she occasionally enjoys).  So refreshing.  A basket of house-made thinly sliced Roggenbrot (rye bread) arrived soon after our drinks with softened butter, lightly sprinkled with sea salt. We passed on the appetizers, knowing that our entrees would be substantial.  My wife ordered the Wienershcnitzel which comes with braised red cabbage and house-made spaetzle lightly sauced with a cream gravy.  These are classic sides which one can find served in restaurants from Vienna or Munich to Heidelberg or Berlin.  I ordered exactly the same thing (having tried other dishes on our prior visits), except I ordered my Wienerschnitzel "a la Holstein" (with a fried local farm egg).  The egg, especially the large yolk, provides an added level of lusciousness to the crispy veal.   Our meals arrived in due course.  They were gorgeous to look at and ate even better than they looked.  The spaetzles were soft and fluffy, the red cabbage was rich and well spiced, and the veal . . . the veal was heavenly.  Crisp on the outside, fork tender on the inside, dipping into a bit of the egg yolk (in my case); goodness what a delightful taste sensation. Just delicious.  We both earned "clean plate" certificates tonight--suitable for framing--felt satiated, but not overly full (which is where we like to end a meal).  We nursed our beers a bit longer, sharing memories from this special day, paid our bill (the bill encouraged customers to tip in cash, which we did), thanked the staff, bid the co-owner "danke schön und Wiedersehen" and we were on our way.

The decor reminds you of a German Brauhaus. We had 2pm reservations and were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our drinks came out quickly As for our appetizers they came out promptly and were delicious. As for our main meals, the portions were perfect and the flavors were great. If you're look for authentic german cuisine the Jaeger Haus is the place to go!!! I am looking forward to our next visit.

Today I experienced some of the best German food I've had in years. The sauerbraten was absolutely delicious. I savored every bite. I had it with spaetzel and their homemade red cabbage. So good! My hubby had the bratwurst and fries and my son said they fries were worth the trip. Then he and his wife devoured the weiner schnitzel. All meals were delicious. Desserts were fabulous. I had the baby cream puffs stuffed with whip cream and strawberry jam. My hubby had the homemade chocolate black cherry ice cream. OMG! Needless to say, we all had smiles when we left. I have to add that all the staff were wonderful! They even offered a pair of readers to my husband who had forgotten his glasses. Incredible. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

I had the best meal and experience here! Lola is absolutely the sweetest, energetic and very knowledgeable waitress. Her personality alone made every moment more enjoyable. I had the platter which was incredibly flavorful, well balanced and absolutely authentic! Topped it all off with a very decadent Sacher Torte.

We met friends here to try out some local German food. The restaurant is small (about 10 tables) with a nice sized bar and very casual. It's a good idea to make reservations. Our waitress was very nice. The guys had beers which were delicious. I had a seltzer which was mostly ice. When I ordered a refill, they were going to charge me again. I complained and I got the second one "free" but that was it. This is a big turnoff for me. I know how cheap seltzer is from a soda machine....free refills are expected. And with meals at $30+ that's just ridiculous. The menu was limited and I was disappointed that there were not many healthier entree options. Everything is fried. The food, however was delicious. The fried pickles are not chips, but quarters and so good. I loved the pickle taste and you don't get that from pickle chips. We ordered a chicken shawarma as an appetizer which was great but difficult to share. The Chicken Schnitzel was delicious. The creamy cabbage that came with it was delicious and they should sell it as a side dish. It is so so good! The Wiener Schnitzel was also delicious. The red cabbage had a cinnamon/nutmeg type flavor that I did not expect but it was still good as well as the spaetzel. Someone ordered the Schweinshaxe and that was something I had never seen before. It was beautifully presented with all the fixings. The meat was tender with a nice crispy crackling. It was very salty but we were told that is part of the preparation. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate torte and the cream puffs. The torte was okay. It was very dense chocolate cake but almost dry. It was supposed to have an almond flavor but I didn't taste it. The cream puffs were a hit! They were stuffed with strawberry jam and whipped cream and then drizzled with a caramel sauce. We agreed that some of the things were overpriced for what you got but all in all it was a fun night out and a great dinner.

The wiener schnitzel was delicious but a request for more gravy added $5 to the bill. The potato pancake was too thick, burnt on top and appeared as grayish triangles cut from a potato "pie". The trendy sourdough rye bread was flavorless & dry & served with highly over- salted butter. Hamburger was good but pumpernickel bun was inedible & $25 for said burger & over-salted fries was a bit much. Staff was friendly & we will certainly return for a second time avoiding certain menu items.

Dinner at the Jaeger Haus was great. Our server (Lolat) was outstanding. The food was better than I remember from prior visits. We had curry wurst and a Rahm schnitzel -- both were perfectly cooked. Desserts followed and we left very happy and full. The interior hasn't really changed over the years and is a appropriate for a German Gast Haus. Enjoy a cuisine change and give the Jaeger Haus a try--you'll enjoy it.

Our server l\Lola was extremely nice. A plus No wines that were somewhat sweet: a minus Potato pancakes were actually Potatoe pie; somewhat a minus The JagerSchnitzel was dry.Barely half spoon of gravy. The essence of jager is the mushroom sauce!!They charged $5 more for the sauce. Giant MINUS. Very disappointed!!! The desert was very good.

We were disappointed with this restuarant. The pork shank was hyper salty and not palatable. Having eaten this item at other German restuarants, we thought that the final rinse of the brine might have been fogotten but it appears that other reviewers had noted the same issue. The schnitzel was good and the cream puffs for dessert were excellent. The beer choices were quite good. The prices were steep for sure, about $5-$10 more per entree than similar dishes at other German places in Weschester and Orange Counties. We suppose the Bard parents will have no qualms with this cost/value ratio. Also, the very loud jazz music seemed out of place for a German restaurant. Service was pleasant and attentive and the place had a nice ambiance. One last note- there was a note on the bill suggesting/asking that tips be paid in cash. Hmm.

The food is excellent! The portion sizes were perfect. The service was good, and they are pet friendly. We dined outside, no issues.

The appetizers we tried: sauerkraut fritters & fried pickles were both extremely salty. The pickles were so salty we did not eat them after our first try. Our entrees: we both had Jaegerschnitzel & subbed spaetzle for potatoes puree. While my husband found it all to be "okay", I found the food all too salty. We tried the cream puffs for dessert and they were quite stale. The prices are high considering both quality and portion size. I do give our server a good review though. She was attentive & informative. This was our first visit to Jaeger Haus and based on our impressions today we likely won't try again.

My fiancée and I happened to pass by this place by chance and spontaneously cancelled our original plans to try it out - we were so glad we did. The Käsespätzle and Wienerschnitzel were both outstanding. The restaurant itself was very inviting and family-oriented with very competent and friendly staff. We can't wait until we're back in the area and can visit Jaeger Haus again!

If you are anywhere in the Hudson Valley don't miss this superb German Restaurant. We started with the delicious Sauerkraut Fritters, followed by classic Sauerbraten and Rahm Schnitzel (pork and chicken). Save room for deserts all homemade by owner Emily Carvajal. The classic Sacher Torte Apple Strudel and Haus Made Ice cream were all out of this world. Emily hails from Manhattan's Upper West Side and this little gem has all the qualities of a great New York restaurant. Superb service and ambience and full bar. Reservations are recommended. Outdoor dining available all summer.

We went to Jaeger Haus for Father's Day, we have never been there, my son has (a long time ago), I am sorry that I didn't take pictures - it is a dark, unappealing place. The service was extremely slow - I mean extremely, inside there are about 10 tables, outside some too - I didn't see to count. Let me explain that there were 5 of us. A very dark place inside, there are a few windows, but not enough without interior lighting - there were a few strings of lights towards the ceiling, the The table was so tilted that you could see the drinks were going to one side, maybe it was the table or the floor - either way one wrong move and the person across from you was going to wear your drink. The bugs!!! Inside!!!! Flies were all over, one landed on my son's place - a nat, just when he finished his dessert But the flies were buzzing all around and we were inside, the air condition until was above us - a "mini split" unit, the setting was on 67 degrees and the bugs were still there. My glass had a chip around the rim, if I drank from that side I would have gotten cut. When we parked, a dog was tied up outside and the fence was open, someone from the kitchen came out and put him behind the fence. The pictures are a site too - not pleasant. It indicated on the menu that a party of 5 or more, gratuity would be added automatically - they weren't taking any chances, (remember tips aren't taxed, but my income is) - the meal was pricey - but I get prices, overhead, etc. but fix the overhead!!! The server was pleasant and I did not mention any of this when we were there - not her fault. Potato pancake was bad, very salty and the 'homemade bread' was dry, no taste. The beet salad was good!! Personally I wouldn't waste my money on it again.

We were excited to try Jaeger Haus for the first time but we're unfortunately let down. It took 30 minutes for us to get our food order in and as a server myself I felt like we were neglected most of the evening by our waitress Fionam. I'd be more understanding if it was busy but it wasn't at all. In addition the celebrities close to us seemed to get good service but we didn't. The food was pretty good thankfully but not worth how long we were trapped before and after eating. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning back here again.

We live under 10 minutes from this gem. This was Mr.Romance and mine 1st time. Thank you Kamal for the recommendation and for cooking for us. The atmosphere was beautiful the staff was lovely. although the service was very nice the food was not. I have never seen a pile of kosher salt on the butter ramekin. the atmosphere was that of an art studio unless you went to the bar. A single coo coo clock over the fire place doesnt ring GERMANY! the whole grain sour dough was the likes of a MilkBone. The red cabbage was warm and a great color but it did not have the cloves and spices you expect. I grew up in a German home and spent 6 years living in Germany. This was German fare not prepared by anyone who has stepped foot in the Biergartens or gasthaus's of Deutschland , over salted and although NY state has some of the best Risleing wines in the country I got a 6oz glass of????? . For 11$ What are they thinking.. sticky tables no linens, just not not.

Service is friendly and easy going ...vibe. The food is delicious and their generous portions will leave with wanting a doggy bag for tomorrow's snacks .... Tivolis best

Gets a knock. This place is not ready for take-out during Covid. There's no menu - I had to ask for a grumbly guy to fetch one. He asks; 'what? You want to order out?' Bad sign. Menu items are overpriced - and for roadside food: not a single dish under $25? Owner's vehicle plastered in political obscenity! Staff not welcoming. Rebel chef: 3

I love German food and this authentic restaurant is exactly that! Everything we had was delicous and definitely the best apple struedel!

We came to Jaeger Haus with a reservation for a Saturday night dinner. We eat on the early side, so we came at 5:15pm. They have a cute wooden patio set up at the back. No indoor dining is available. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio. The service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the chilled watermelon soup to start, and shared it. It was a pretty small bowl, so I'd recommend ordering two for two people. The soup was refreshing to have on a hot day. We were also presented with the house made rye sourdough, which was delicious. My husband enjoyed his pork schnitzel. The red cabbage it came with tasted great, with slightly sweet and sour flavours. I had the vegan eggplant schnitzel, which was thinly sliced and deep fried in breadcrumbs. It was cooked well, and served atop steamed greens. The whole dish was very light, yet filling. Would recommend this place if you have a craving for German food in Hudson Valley.

Was staying in nearby Milan / Red Hook so we tried this place out. Really good German food. We had the fish and one of the schnitzels, the schnitzel was really good, one of the best I have ever had. The fish was also pretty good. we had the Oktoberfest tasting drink set, which was fun to try the 4 or 5 beers in smaller pours. We ate outside, which was nice, the backyard is fenced in.

Beware of the Jaeger Haus In Tivoli ..Food was excellent however I asked when I called how much a cake would be for a special party and I was given the price of $14 FOR a CAKE I asked 3x for a cake right? Yes she said it serves 12 people Got the bill and they charged $14 a slice I ask the hostess and she got nasty and said how could you expect to have a cake for $14.I said I specifically asked if I brought my own cake they said they would charge me five dollars plate charge but we have cakes here for $14 that serve 12 people so I opted for the $14 cake. Again I get a bill at the end of the night for $14 per slice for 12 slices. Asked to speak to the manager the manager wasn't there asked for the manager's name she refused to give it to me. Why would I pay $140 or $160 for a cake !.I know exactly what the girl told me over the phone they made a mistake and did not rectify it and the worst part to me was how rude and nasty the girl got with me... Is this the way you treat custoers that are spending $400 on dinner? I don't recommend this place to anyone Even if the food was good , if this is the way you treat a customer that just spent $400 on dinners , your food isnt that good .. if you don't want to get Conned out of your money. wow

It's German. It is good. But I don't know it felt American more than German. Will I be back? Probably. Will I go there specifically for the food? No. It is American German food.

Ambiance is cute. Inside seems intimate. Outside is causal with good music. Service was great! Servers were personable and very friendly when answering questions about the menu. Food tasted amazing! I've travelled to Austria and had schnitzel there. Schnitzel at Jaeger Haus was very authentic compared to what I had in Europe. I was eyeing this place every time I passed it, and today decided to stop in. So glad I did!! Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely, delicious lunch at Jaeger Haus today. We started with the sauerkraut fritters and a pretzel, which we happily devoured. Then my kids and I had three variations of schnitzel, and they were all great, crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, yum. My husband had the Sauerbraten and generously gave me a bite - wow!! Great sauce, amazing flavor. Lots of beers on tap, some German, some not, friendly and polite waitstaff, socially distanced seating on a nicely tented patio. We are looking forward to eating here again!

SINFULLY delicious scratch kitchen food. You hardly find places that do everything home made and with real ingredients anymore. This was genuinely good, real food. We enjoyed everything we ordered, including local and German beers. We don't make it over this way that often but we will absolutely return at our next opportunity. Reservations recommended, was a packed house. Now we know exactly why. It's a cozy place with lovely Germanic woodsy decor, the bar area has a big TV for the sports fans. Was really pleased with the service as well. Sauerkraut Fritters are rich and delicious paired perfectly with a hint of the sauerkraut zing, highly recommend trying if you like cheese, bacon, and sauerkraut! Jaeger schnitzle was a nice clean and perfectly cooked cutlet with a delicate sauce and a with a flavorful red cabbage pairing, love the hint of warm spices. Have you had homemade spaetzle? Because you absolutely must try. Their French fries (also home cut) were delicious as well. I personally don't love eggplant but I thought it was really a great idea to do eggplant schnitzel as a veg option. If you like German food, you will definitely find something to love. If you're in the area, stop here for a bite! Really great.

I reviewed this already. The food was mediocre to fair. The Modern jazz was extremely annoying The menu was overpriced, and I will not return.

I drove an hour to get to this great little spot. The Staff are extremely nice and accommodating. I called my order in for take out and was surprised that they could have appetizers two meals and some sides done and ready to in 15 minutes. The potato pancakes are the best I have ever had, crispy and tasty. The sausage platter dinner was amazing and well presented. The chicken schnitzel was just amazing with the sauce was very tasty. You have to get the potato dumplings in a great butter sauce. I would eat they as a meal. I can't say enough good things about my experience, other than I will definitely be back. The dinning room and bar areas make a welcoming place to dine.

Great food and exceptional service! We stumbled upon this place because all the other restaurants in Tivoli were not yet open at 3:20pm on a Saturday. We were famished and didn't want to drive to Kingston for food. We had noticed the restaurant while driving through town so we decided to stop by. We weren't sure that they had tables outside, but I still stopped in to ask. We had our puppy with us, and it was a nice weather to dine outside. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with a smile and the staff quickly set up a table for us outside. The menu has something for all kinds of budget and most dietary preferences. They also have a nice selection of beer, cider and wine. We shared a couple of wursts for appetizers and I ordered the aubergine schnitzel, I had a pineapple cider (I do love ciders). Unfortunately, we didn't have any space for dessert but next time, I'll make sure to leave room for it. This restaurant has been opened for a little over a year. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The food is delicious, and it's nicely designed. I definitely encourage people to stop by and enjoy their dishes. We most certainly will be back.

We dined here 7/12. Bright sunny day. I'm actually shocked that there were so few people there. The food was delicious. The staff courteous. The service prompt. The beer selection appropriate. The desserts scrumptious. And you know if you ever get decaf coffee at a restaurant it's usually crap....Not here. All current COVID norms are followed. Support your local restaurants.

The food is fantastic! I got the aubergine schnitzel and it was probably the best vegan food I've ever had at a non-vegetarian restaurant. So much flavor! Will definitely be going back.

We were fortunate to have a nice summer evening so that we could sit outside on the patio, as the (empty) restaurant had loud music blaring and the air conditioning was blowing directly over many of the tables inside. The patio is comfortable and fortunately, had good jazz playing at a normal decimal level. Service was pleasant, but slow. Never received water for the table. The food WAS good to mediocre - not nearly as well prepared as the last time we visited. My husband's pork schnitzel was very salty, but he was hungry and decided not to send it back. My smoked trout w/ cucumber salad was OK, not great - about 2 tablespoons of cucumber salad, the sourdough bread was burnt on the edges, and the three tiny slices of "house make pickle" were transparent. Not happy to have a dog -cute as it was- roaming the area, instead of on a leash. Also not happy with a table with two small children screaming and crying; perhaps management could have politely asked the ladies to take their children to a different area? Many restaurants we have been to have politely, but firmly, told the parents to please take their children outside until they calm down, when the children are running around the restaurant, sitting on the floor, crying & screaming, bothering other guests. If we were not with other friends, we would have walked out. Afterwards, our friends said they also wanted to leave but were too embarrassed to say so. It will be some time before we return.

Fantastic German restaurant. The staff was very nice, including the manager. Outdoor seating is nicely arranged. The menu is rich with German food and drinks. I had the Wiener schnitzel, sauerkraut, German red wine and everything was perfect. This is a must visit for a pleasant experience and excellent food!

We always have a superb experience at Jaeger Haus in small-town Tivoli NY. Service is always impeccable. Food is sublime and beer great! We shared an order of potato pancakes as appetizers. It was excellent (thought that we were back in Munich). Homemade applesauce to go with. Main course for both was our favorite, Jaegerschnitzle with spaetzle and red cabbage. Simply to die for!! Not to forget the fantastic house made rye sourdough bread and butter with a tiny sprinkling of sea salt over it! Yum! Local excellent coffee, with heavy cream and mouth watering desserts round out this excellent meal. Oh, how could I forget, great German beer ! You will NOT be disappointed!! Go!

Food and service was great. Started with the house sourdough rye bread & salted butter and had various wursts (the spicy mustard was surprisingly addictive), Bavarian pretzels! It ended up being really sunny so could have used some shade on the patio as it became really hot, but still- would wholeheartedly recommend.

Hidden gem - though easy to find and so friendly. Authentic German food and great draft beer list including 5+ hard to find German taps. Swiss style potato pancake to die for - crispy outside, moist inside, perfect with homemade applesauce. Terrific brat selection. Outdoor seating and so focused on COVID safety that they spray down menus and all surfaces as soon as you leave. Love the vibe + a great Hudson Valley sunset + right next to Tivoli and Hudson.

Food was adequate - nothing spectacular. Three persons dining in our party all made same comment of bland food. Staff were doing their best under Covid-19 rules. All interior seating was comfortable and distant from the others.

Staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and authentic. Definitely a hidden gem.

Good German meal, beer selection was good both on tap and in bottles. Was a little on the expensive side more of a $$$ place than a $$ place. Ate a Bavarian pretzel as an appetizer, Pork Schnitzel with a nice reisling and house made 8ce cream for dessert.

We have been going to Jaeger Haus since they opened. They are FANTASTIC. The food is amazing, the staff is efficient, the beer divine. And did I mention the incredibly great food? Every special soup knocks it out of the park. The fritters are delicious, the homemade rye bread and butter get devoured as soon as it comes out. It is a comfortable, lovely, family friendly place. During COVID they have done their best to keep everyone safe and they have survived through these overwhelming challenges. We want them to continue their success! Please ignore Christian L's review - you try running a restaurant at the height of a lockdown and staffing shortages!! Heading there again this weekend ! Just great!

Just love this place. I will always remember as the first meal out after a long time during the 2020 pandemic. The food is amazing, the service is great and just overall a great place. We go there 1-2 times a month... can't go wrong ... everything on the menu is delicious.

Amazing dinner in a beautiful atmosphere! Our second time here and both times, the food was delicious and I am looking forward to the next visit already! Dinner was wonderful, but don't miss the amazing desserts - you won't be sorry!

Love German food and this a gem found it just riding around one day. Made reservations and we were glad we did. Yummy appetizers sausage platter and jaeger schnitzel dubbel beer pastry dessert highly recommend
