The Best Restaurants Near The Eiffel Tower - Paris - The Infatuation

"There are plenty of bistros within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, but if you just can’t eat another steak au poivre, head to Jais. In addition to traditional French plates like pâté en croûte studded with pistachios, they have a handful of international-leaning dishes like a great tuna carpaccio topped with a bulgogi sauce and zucchini flower tempura with stracciatella. Wherever you land, save room for the lemon pie with sky-high meringue." - emily monaco, sophie friedman, sara lieberman

Cozy restaurant with a lively vibe. Had a cool open kitchen and the food was great. Tables were a bit uncomfortable as they are all next to each other and tight spaces but it gives a unique cozy vibe. Would like to come try other dishes next time as well!

Wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was delightful from the moment we walked in, the staff took care of us in the best possible way, and the dishes were divine. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

The octopus was so delightful along with the scallops we had as the appetisers, the sole fish with citrus butter was a stunner and the lobster was so perfectly cooked, the profiteroles were a perfect way to end the meal and definitely was an excellent experience and would definitely be making my way back here at some point

Charming little spot with a cozy atmosphere. The quiche Lorraine was rich yet light, and the salad was fresh. The waiter checked in often and spoke perfect English, making our visit easy and pleasant. If you want, I can also make a second set that sounds more like real tourist reviews, with small imperfections and mixed tones so they feel authentic. Would you like me to do that next?

Lovely evening at Jais. The food was excellent. Tuna and Octopus appetizers were extremely memorable. Octopus was super tender and the tuna has an Asian flare. Highly recommend both. Surprisingly it was the linguine with trout roe that stole the show on our entrees. Definitely get it, you will not be disappointed. Desserts were also outstanding. Chocolate mousse is decadent and still light and the lemon meringue pie got a big thumbs up from my wife! Beautiful dinner stop overall in Paris.

Delicious gourmet dishes. We went for lunch and ordered the daily 2-course menu “la formule”. All the meat and fish (I had a gorgeous Ray fillet) were perfectly cooked with great sides. Wine list is great but on the expensive side. It’s pricey but surely worth it!

Amazing food! 10/10 everything was amazing. I’ll advise to get there before 1pm as it gets REALLY busy. The tables are very close to each other, it gives it a great ambiance. The feta gnocchi (special on the day) was to die for! My only bad point is they forgot to serve us dessert which we were very looking forward to it but other than that it was a lovely experience! I’ll be back.

So nice food,so tasty,it was my best and the softest octopus in my life, bravo chef cook🫠🫠🫠 But waiters so rude, tough, not cultural, dont care about any feelings of guests. Like gypsy, just caring about to pay the bill, seems like they from jungle, dont know how even speak polite... I had so nice dishes,so tasty and spended pretty much money there, but stuff treat everyone like animals. That stuff dont know what is respect for people around... I could recommend to try this dishes, but caz of not respect from stuff,i recommend dont spend money and nervous there, better choice another place!

Yelp
We came here without a reservation on a night when no one was inside. The waiter seated us and gave us menus in French even though he knew we spoke English. This is the first place we found this kind of snobbery. The sauces were good, but to be honest the meat was tough and gristled. The prices were high compared to the quality and the wines were just ok, and WAY over priced. It was kind of a disappointment. My rating would be higher for the food but the service was not welcoming. By dessert the waiter had "warmed up" to us and gave us menus in English. Always ask when you arrive.

Yelp
Jaïs is an excellent restaurant that offers very good French cuisine. I discovered this place with a friend of mine who gets there time to time--a must go in Paris. I had their tartare surrounded by its green tomatoes--it was fresh and delicious. Their deserts were just amazing: I had their Paris Brest, which was fairly-sized, not too sweet, with a fair amount of cream. My friend had the tarte citron meringuée which was just impressive (see my pictures). As to the décor: we were outside, the restaurant has a few table on the sidewalk of a quiet and beautiful street. I did not go inside but will certainly do next time I am in Paris.
