"Jake Melnick’s is offering curbside pickup and delivery of its full menu, along with alcohol." - adrian kane
"Jake Melnick’s feels a little out of place on the corner of Wabash and Superior, but we are glad it’s there. Let’s be clear—we don’t think Melnick’s is winning any awards for an all-around phenomenal restaurant anytime soon. But they do have great wings, a lot of TVs, and a solid beer list, all of which make it enough of a reason to have on the radar if you're in the neighborhood. The wings are crispy and plump, with flavors like firecracker, Buffalo, and whiskey BBQ, which is made with whiskey and bacon. So, no explanation is needed for why that last one happens to be our favorite." - adrian kane, nick allen
"When a fan is trapped in Streeterville, it’s hard to find a handle on the bar situation. And it’s easy to disregard Jake Melnick’s, which has gone through several iterations and remains really hard to get into on weekends. Perhaps this is the state of Streeterville, but there are several food specials and Melnick’s continues to fall back on their wings. Not a bad fallback." - Ashok Selvam
"This downtown bar has been a haven for sports fans since 2002. It’s part of the Levy restaurant umbrella. The Buffalo version is great, but don’t sleep on Whiskey BBQ and the XXXX with ghost pepper, scorpion, reaper, and habanero." - Ashok Selvam
"You won’t find a crazy rowdy crowd at this River North bar, so it's great if your ideal sports-viewing experience is a lowkey place where you don't have to worry about the possibility of someone screaming "Touchdown!" right into your ear. And when it comes to food, this place has great wings. You want infinity firecracker wings, a few hot wings, and nachos to ensure a balanced diet. Science says nachos are part of any balanced diet." - sam faye, john ringor
