Jameson's Irish Pub

Excellent! This pub really is like one in Dublin. The fish and chips appetizer was amazing and great for one person. The fish was battered perfectly and flaky. Tater sauce was delicious. Drinks were 2 for 1 and great! I tried the Jameson peanut butter shot and OH my was it delicious! The chips and salsa app was just okay but it’s an Irish pub not a Mexican place so that’s on me. The single waitress, bar tender and another server were nothing short of amazing. Those 3 people ran that entire dining room and outside so smoothly. It was not unnoticed how hard they were working and served the customers quickly and in the middle of the day. Music was great! I only wish I could have dined here once more before I left.

The service was the only thing wrong with this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were basically on our own. We were told to seat ourselves and someone would be with us. After about 30 minutes someone came to our table. That would have been fine if they were busy but there were only 3 other tables. We ordered our drinks and the server told us we either open a tab or pay when we order our food which I thought was odd. So after ordering our food, the server said she needed to hold onto my credit card, I asked why and she said " it's policy". I was reluctant at first, but had to give it to her if we wanted to eat. Our food came out rather quickly. The server dropped it off and left, didn't ask if we needed anything, she just left. We were finally able to flag down our server who was hanging out by the door. I asked her for some dressing and a glass of water. When she dropped off the items she told me that if I wanted water I had to get it myself, she and never came back to our table. My friend had tried to get her beverage refilled twice as she walked by but both times she was ignored and the server never came back until we stopped her and asked for the bill. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you like rude servers and poor service and still be expected to tip generously, then by all means give this place a try. If you value great customer service I recommend going somewhere else.

Decided to stop in for quick dinner & drinks. Can't really go wrong with a $15 prime rib dinner. Just don't go in expecting you're getting the best cut of meat, either. The person with me who ordered 1 of the pizzas didn't care for it. But they did really like the peanut butter shot. The staff was nice.

Very good, fun sports bar atmosphere, the outdoor area on the walk of fame is fun…but the food is just not good. I’ve had meals there twice now and it’s been pretty disappointing both times. The prime rib sliders had zero flavor besides the mini dollop of horseradish. Zero. I’ll never order anything prime rib again there, and that’s supposed to be a highlight of their menu? The thick cut fries are the only food I’ve had there that’s really solid. The stew is good but not great. Drinks are fine.

After we got the buffalo cauliflower we decided not to order any more food. They were spicy pieces of barely cooked veg, no breading/batter. My husband's drinks were not as they normally taste. However happy hour is everyday and u get 2 for 1 drinks except only 2 of the same thing. No food specials. View was fun bc it is open to the sidewalk, but you might get some cig smoke from the guests sitting out there.

Great service by James & Edgar. Food & drinks were great! Excellent restaurant with good prices. Great place to watch sporting events 💯

We had an amazing experience the atmosphere was fun and bubbly (April) the waitress was outstanding couldn't do enough for us, we never waited any longer then 2/3 minutes for a drink would highly recommend. 5*

We're visiting from Texas and found this place, and it was amazing! When vacationing, I try to discover as many new places as possible, but I kept coming back here because the drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable! Next time I come to LA, I will definitely go back.

The server provided great customer service. The food was prepared quickly and was good quality. This is one of the few sit down restaurants on Hollywood Blvd. Excellent for viewing sports since they have multiple televisions mounted. Prices are pretty reasonable so we would definitely return.

This place was the most decent place we found to have a bite on Hollywood Blvd Was surprise with the number of vegetarian option they had and it was all pretty decent. Service was also ok and the place looked fine and clean at that time.

Jameson's is a typical Hollywood Blvd. bar - dark, sticky, constantly packed. But it's always buzzing with locals, rather than overrun with tourists. The food is okay. We really come for the Jame-O Rita whiskey marg pitchers. They're the perfect post-dinner nightcap or pre-game before seeing a movie at the Chinese or El Capitan. We liked them so much we bought the same pitchers from Amazon for cocktails at home. Sláinte!

Drove my wife and daughter to the Chris Stapleton concert at the Bowl. I was looking for a Starbucks or McDonalds where I could get though some emails and saw this place. And with a Happy Hour. So I sit down and realize that they serve Smithwicks [pronounced smid icks] as we were told in Ireland. One of our favorites so I sat down and had a couple. NO, i did not get through any emails. I did meet a couple of guys and had a conversation and enjoyed my night as a last minute FREE Uber driver for my fam. I would love to come back with my boys and I saw some great deals like the Prime Rib on Wednesdays. The place is kept up pretty well and they had clean bathrooms. The bar tender was a little cold at first but warmed up as the night progressed.

We misunderstood what 2-4-1 happy hour meant and our waiter didn't correct us! 2-4-1 means you get 2 drinks for the price of 1.... not half off drinks. Be warned!

Ordered fish and chips for delivery. It wasn't very good. 3 stars for that was generous.

Not realizing the hockey finals were on, but wanting some Irish food, I came to Jameson's. As busy as they were, everything is superb and fresh; I'm looking forward to coming back. The prices are great, and the portions are sumptuous. Better than many restaurants with twice the pomposity and twice the prices.

Jameson's Irish Pub is a fun spot with great music right on Hollywood Blvd. In the middle of all the action, their location offers a lot to do both before and after your visit. We ended up here after doing a short bus tour of Hollywood/Los Angeles. While we only stayed for a drink, our time was memorable. This isn't a bar I'd go out of my way to check out, but it's a convenient stop when you're in the area. They also have a beer pong table if you're interested in that. I enjoyed the vibes quite a bit.

I rarely hangout in Hollywood, but during a night out we'd walked past and it looked lovely and I thought it'd make a good spot for football on Sundays. One weekend I was back down for a show at the Pantages and definitely wanted to make this part of my day, so I stopped in and it was midday, so it wasn't as lively, but still had a good ambience and pretty nice menu to fulfill my lunch needs. I must admit, that my when I was remembering back to the night I saw it lively, what I though was the football hangout was actually the bar next door and the two seemed to blend together in my head, but nonetheless, this would be a decent spot for sports as well. The food, the staff and the ambience are all inviting and you'll have a a good time.

It's a typical bar on the Hollywood strip. But to their credit their drink specials aren't bad and their menu prices are one of the most reasonable on the strip. The waygu/rib burger was deceptively good. Wasn't impressed on first sight but it was tasty. Service is a B but to be expected for a busy lunch crowd.

This place gets busy and I can see why. Great spot to watch the game, and the two for one happy hour deal can't be beat anywhere else on the blvd. Food wise, I recommend the Irish fries. Ambiance has a slightly more elevated neighborhood dive feel to it, which I like.

Awesome FISH N CHIPS. I was comparing prices in all local restaurants and Jameson's price was hands down the best offer, I wasn't sure if they would be what I hoped but for the price I was willing to see, and the quality was excellent! The pieces were good sized and the Guinness-batter was delicious. Will absolutely order from here again.

Don't expect much from this bar. Food is mediocre. Service is mediocre at best. I could see how it could get very bad. My waitress refused to bring me a lemon water after I ordered beer and main dish because I "needed" to order something. Wtf.. The cover charge was $15 at 7pm for UFC 291. Porier vs Gaethje 2. When a friend of mine called and asked about the cover charge they said there was none. It was super crowded and loud during the event. A few things that this place has going on is very reasonable prices, beer and sports events.

Love! Great beer and food. Not even paid to say this I just wanted to write a good review for a place that deserves it. 10/10

Awesome Irish Pub. Guinness on tap. Deal during the week. Didn't eat there. Went back after Slaughter to Prevail, but I couldn't finish my Guinness. Hopefully the Hollywood Palladium will have more punk and metal shows. I will be back.

A $5 Irish coffee!? I'm in! As it turns out, they have a 'rainy day special' which is just that- a ridiculously amazing price for a perfect rainy day drink. Yay! I came in around 3pm on a Thursday after a bus tour left me colder than expected- seriously, bundle up on those!- and was so excited to get warm with the added bonus of caffeine & whiskey. The bartender made two and presented them, which made me worried that I had asked for two. I asked as much and he explained it was happy hour, aka 2-for-1. Ahhh ok, makes sense. He asked for $14 and change and I said I just wanted the one, the rainy day special as advertised. I even offered one to the gentleman on the next stool! The bartender had to literally go outside to see what sign I was referring to, after which he came back and took one drink away, lowering the price to $5 and change. Walked back to a quiet corner where a friendly server checked if I wanted anything more, and after confirming I didn't, left me to my self. I gotta say- I love that little corner in the back! Just far enough from the front door to relax from the wetness/coldness outside and near at least 4 screens and some pretty epic music- great selection of rock/alternative music. I actually wish I had a laptop- I could have easily done some work with a little head bopping every so often. Also gotta love the unexpected vegan and vegetarian menu options! I love all the meats but it's nice they have something for everyone.

The ambiance was quiet, still good music with rock videos. Service was nice. Food was good we had spicy buffalo cauliflower.

I truly hate that I have to write a review like this, however this is one of the worst bars I've ever been to. It's the only one of its kind in the are so I had high hopes. There was a man outside who checked IDs and never once looked up at me or my bf to welcome us, never broke conversation, nor said "hello" back to me. Already I knew it wasn't going to be pleasant. However! There was a taller man who said hi to us once we were in. He was just passing by and had a work shirt on. I believe he might've been a manager? Anywho, we sit down at the bar and I notice that the menus and bar top are so sticky! I hesitantly looked over the menu, huge selection with great deals! They have a champagne brunch which I'm sure would be great for someone. My bf ordered a beer and I ordered a Jameson and ginger ale- because duh! Welp... the ginger ale was so flat! I took a sip and had my bf take a sip to be sure! I let our bartender know and he just walked away? I guess he ended up tasting for himself because he made me a new one and dumped the old one out. I asked "it was flat right?" And he said "it must've been the lines. I changed it and it's good now." Welp... had another and this one was ALSO FLAT!! I let the guy know and he just said "SERIOUSLY?!" I ended up chugging my flat drink and Jameson to meet up with family elsewhere, but I didn't get a "sorry" or anything. The music that they played was ALL OVER the place. I could not stop laughing at it. They need to pick an avenue and stick to it. The interior is ok. The restrooms were dirty, the walls are dark, and honestly, you'd expect more from a bar who's putting a name like Jameson on their backs. Will never come back.

You can look for parking outside, the place is casual to dive in for a drink and watch some sports, the food is good and I had a good service. The food is not out of this world but it's pretty good, they have a great selection of drink.

Great bar specially if you love Jameson. The beer and shots are amazing including the staff.

Reliable, clean, okay with a little rowdy. Came here on a Friday around 3:30pm. They were able to accommodate almost 25 of us without any issues. The bar tenders especially Kevin were on top of it. Banging out drinks left and right! The blonde bartender was amazing as well, dancing and singing with me. I didn't order any food, but it is an option that looked decent. They have plenty of seating, TV's and a beer pong table. Not fancy by any means but I had a great time, and it didn't break the bank. I didn't give them 5 stars because nothing was out of the ordinary amazing, but I would definitely come back again. *They do not allow happy hours on Holidays. If an Irish Pub is what you are looking for, I suggest you come and give these guys a try. 4/5

I lovee this place, my absolute favorite bar on the Blvd Liam and all the other employees are way awesome and I just love how this is no pretentious, bougie trying to be cool crap It's just a fun, normal Irish pub One of the last sit down restaurants where you can get a yummy beer and burger and watch sports on TV The prices are amazing, they usually have a happy hour 2 for 1 deal on both beers and hard alcohol going so this alone is worth going! I also love how there's always regulars and out of towners here, so always a fun mix of peoples! Plus only restaurants to stay open through all this virus crap! So 10/10 amazing definitely recommend!

Cool spot! They have great Happy Hour deals, our servers have always been friendly and sometimes suggest certain drinks or specials. We've had fish and chips, salads, and sandwiches here before and they were good. We are normally there for the drinks. The environment is chill, it gets louder the later it gets and for St. Paddy's it gets really crowded, especially when people get out of work. This is smack in the middle of Hollywood, so you will see tourists and homeless, everyone pretty much minds their business and drinks.

Ambience. If you love sports this is the spot. They have the big games. Fights. They play the sound. Highly recommend

The scammiest tourist trap I've ever been in. They had picture boards on the sidewalk showing big warm bowls of chili on a cold day. After talking to the server about how great that sounded, I was disappointed to receive a little skillet of beanless chili dip with tortilla chips (this was advertised as a bowl of chili soup with beans, by picture). The blatant false advertising and misrepresentation by staff is enough that I'll never recommend this place. If you see a deal on any of their posters around the bar, make sure to read the tiny print on the bottom that excludes you from the deal. Any pictures of food you see on the posters are stock photos and not representative of what they will serve you. Their 2-for-1 happy-hour drink special is also a scam.

02/24/2020 A day of remembrance for Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant at The Staples Center. Open early for everyone to come view and remember the lives of everyone lost on the helicopter. Glad this place will do that for everyone to share in this touching moment. We lost a legend of our times.

I have nothing but good times here normally and I will still give this a 5 star, but watch out for the security. If you walk in because they are not at the door, there was one person that felt it necessary to be rude. When I told him I am here all the time, and my daughter is with me to have some food (on her birthday). I said, do I really look underage. (I am 43 currently) and then he resorted to making rude comments. Said I am acting like it. I was walking away when he said it. They were busy, granted, but this is not the way to treat anyone. I was not rude to him at all. And just left to get a burger down the street at another place. Sucks to have people that think resorting to being rude and insulting is the right way to deal with people. I will always walk away when something like this happens. You can always talk with management a different time. I even had to resort to taking a picture as he did not even want to give his name. I will be in soon to discuss with management.

Rude bouncer. It's disappointing to still see this old-school type of doorman with a weird power complex. It's off-putting and unnecessary. A girl in our group accidentally brought her expired ID which he rightfully rejected. Though, he then didn't let anyone else in the group in due to that. I'm 30 and look it and was sober and remained respectful and had two forms of government ID. Absolutely no reason, a customer should be prevented from patronizing a business due to someone who was legitimately of age forgetting her new ID in another purse. I politely said I wasn't trying to be rude, but would there be a way to speak to a manager or a supervisor. He initially blew me off, then eventually said to just wait until manager came by. I stood there for 15-20 minutes and checked in again finally and he said the manager has been in and out already (yet he never told me and or mentioned it to him). At this point, I decided to leave. Also, while waiting the one with the expired ID got into a conversation with another girl who had exited there. Apparently, she wasn't even 21. So, apparently this place is doing something wrong in how they're handling things.

Came in for the Jamo. Ordered a Jamo-jug of the Jamo-rita. It was huge (32 oz) and served in a pitcher. Hilarious. It was too sour for my liking. Ordeeed a peanut butter jamo shot. It had so much pb I felt like I saw chewing it, soo sweet. Could take the whole shot and barely drank 1/× of my jug. The place was loud for a Thursday night.

I dig this place. Great drink selection and the bar staff is incredibly positive and welcoming.

Went there today 11/14/23, they opened late at 11:30am. Staff was very rude and didn't even want to attend me and my friend. We asked what's the fastest food you can cook because we were on our lunch break. They said everything would take about 18-20 min. Ummm okay, I like someone here some times but today I got the worst experience. Probably won't be coming here for a while, you guys need to step it up.

Always busy and always full. I don't understand why they can occupy the street and put tables for business. That still amazes me. It is so crowded when there is a ball game or weekends. Young sexy ladies and handsome lads gather here to chat and relax.

Fun spot, my girlfriend and I have been a couple times. The drink specials are solid, you can get a mini pitchers of mixed drinks. The food wasn't bad; we got a grilled cheese and burger. Only issue I had was they were showing the fight; they wanted to charge us another 10 dollars to stay after we'd been there for an hour plus ordering food and drinks.

Great food; great service; fun atmosphere! Great because it was only a few blocks from our Loews Hotel location.

If I have to be in Hollyweird, I make a point to grab a two-for-one beer at Jamesons. The food is awesome. Colleagues and I go there for the burgers, which are very reasonably priced for the assortment of add-ons you can get with the large beef patty, which has usually been cooked to perfection. It's also a local hangout, with the front catering more to tourists on HB, and the rear to folks who work supporting the many businesses around the area. Music is not too loud and the waitstaff is used to all kinds of folks wandering in, so they are patient and tolerant, except to people who are under the influence as they wander in. They are refused service and wander back out. I have been there several times and each time it has been consistent in quality of food and service, which is hard to find in downtown Hollyweird. I believe the place is family-owned, which helps. The only downside at all is the close proximity of seating, which can become cramped as you try to eat at the bar. The tables are not much better if you have several people, but the cost is reasonable and the food is good. With two-for-one drinks, let someone else do the driving.

The long 12pm-8pm 2 for 1 happy hour special is much appreciated compared to most that offer way shorter happy hours. Wednesdays all you can eat prime rib special also a great deal. Not like a fine restaurant prime rib but it's good enough and it was quick and easy to get a 2nd helping brought to me. The service is great and it's a fun place to meet a friend for weekday happy hour.

Food aiiite, service is spotty. Biggest takeaway, LA "Sports Bar" that doesn't have Spectrum Sportsnet. Soooooo you can't watch Laker games that aren't nationally televised? Do better

Terrible. Food is terrible (it's all bland- no taste to any of it), service is terrible (our server disappeared) just avoid at all costs. Lots of tourists traps in this area, but some are better than others and this one is the worst.

They had amazing buy one get one free drinks during happy hour and a delicious shot that only they make!!!!

We've always walked past and love the name (it's out son's name) but usually can't make it in because we have Bailey and Jameson with us and there is some event going on and they are under 21. Finally made it in! Only for drinks and fries to go but what we had was good (steak fries were good) and the drinks were reasonably priced. Staff is nice. Will be back for sure!

Classic Irish pub. Good service and an amazing happy hour that is a 2 for 1 until 8pm Mon-Fri. Worth stopping in and watching a game on if their many tvs. Food is ok...not great. Standard pub fare. But that should not stop you from ordering a bite or two. You'll need it if you catch the happy hour early enough!!

The atmosphere was great. I am a huge Jameson fan so being here was a great experience. Felt like home to be able to get a real "Pickleback". Our server was so sweet. Definitely will be back.

A hidden Irish gem in Hollywood Blvd. Stopped by for some drinks that were beyond reasonably priced. $16 bottomless mimosas....who says no to that?? The Irish Hooligan was a great flagship drink. Service was friendly and terrific.

Having my 11 a.m. draft layered beer due to watching World Cup 2022 here was quite a vibe!

Me and my date went on last Wednesday ( we're both POC trans femmes) we're ignored for over 30 minutes and the waitresses dismissed us multiple times. The last straw was hearing a homophobic remark directed at us from another patron. Honestly not acceptable in 2023

St Patrick's Day is a month away and it's the perfect time to start training for the big day! Guinness, Irish Coffee and Fish & Chips are my staples at Jamesons Irish Pub. You can do a "boop & a bop" by popping over to Cabo for a margarita after Jamesons. Managers and staff are always cool. I'll see you at Jamesons folks!

Come here for the drinks only. I don't know if it was the late night chief's fault or what but the pesto Mac and cheese didn't look like the picture

Oh Jameson's, How it reminds me of the first bar I ever had my first beer. Not pretentious. Not a dirty dive bar either, it is just right, whether you are on a date, or just wanna unwind and watch some sports and listen to some classic rock. This is a spot revered by the regulars that frequent there stools multiple times daily. The food is good old fashioned Pub Grub that fills you up and leaves you with that warm feeling only surpassed by the warm embrace of a lover. No place I'd rather watch a game regardless of what you're into, they have every sporting event ever, and enough TVs, you won't piss anybody off even if you wanna watch golf on Sunday. Best watering hole in Hollywood in my opinion... Chances are I will be on one of those stools if you decide to come in. I am a writer and this place fills me with inspiration. If our paths cross and this is why you stoped by lemme know and I would love to buy you a pint. CHEERS!!!!

Spent this Valentine's Day in Hollywood and happened to walk by and decided to give it a try. We got there at opening so we were seated right away. Their drinks are delicious. I tried the peach smash, watermelon whiskey and whiskey hooligan. I enjoyed them all but my favorite was the peach smash. Originally, what really caught my attention was the bottomless mimosas but they no longer offer that :( Food was really good. Fiancé ordered the prime rib and I ordered the Shepard's pie. First time trying Shepard's pie and this one was AMAZING! ***Everything is served in Togo containers cause of covid and your drinks are served in plastic cups.
