The 2023 MICHELIN Guide Thailand Celebrates
5 New ‘One MICHELIN Star’ Restaurants

"Jampa, a newcomer on the MICHELIN Guide’s recommended list for Phuket that strives to educate guests on the benefits of eating fresh and local – serving European contemporary dishes using herbs and vegetables from its own organic farm, seafood sourced from the island fishermen, as well as nutritious and balanced ingredients that contribute to better eating." - MICHELIN Guide Thailand

The Best New Openings in Thailand, From Buzzy Bangkok Restaurants to Koh Samui Resorts

"Phuket's new headline-grabbing food hotspot is Jampa, a sibling to the island's only Michelin star holder PRU at the Trisara resort. At this ambitious farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of Tri Vananda wellness community (which is slated to open in 2023), Dutch chef Rick Dingen uses produce from his adjoining organic garden and small-scale farms and fisheries around the country for intricately plated concoctions of grilled beetroot and kaffir lime, or whole red mullet with young leek and green mango. Better yet: A strict zero-waste ethos. Dingen and his team use kitchen leftovers as farm compost and animal feed and source all their ingredients as sustainably as possible."

Trisara Phuket Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"Nearby, Jampa — the resort’s sister concept — doubles down on zero-waste, farm-to-table vibes, and I appreciated its emphasis on sustainability and produce-driven cooking."

Had an amazing lunch experience at Jampa! The dishes are very innovative, using local plants in creative ways—beautifully presented, delicious, and healthy. Honestly, every plate looked almost too pretty to eat. Executive Chef Rick Dingen personally came over a few times to share his food concept and check in on us, which made the whole experience even more special. A big shoutout to Madam Patch as well—she was incredibly attentive, explained each dish in detail, and even took us on a buggy ride to tour the restaurant’s farm about 1.2 km away. That personal touch was unforgettable. The restaurant itself is gorgeous—top-notch décor, super comfortable seating, perfect air conditioning, lots of natural light, and even the toilets are spotless and luxurious. I truly enjoyed every part of my visit here and would highly recommend Jampa to anyone looking for a unique and memorable food experience.

I recently dined at Jampa Restaurant, and it was a memorable experience that really captures the farm-to-table spirit. The chef was incredibly friendly and outgoing, which added a warm and personal touch to the evening. Our waitress, BM, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was outstanding the lamb neck was especially nice and buttery, cooked to perfection, and a highlight of the menu. The entire concept is the use of fire to transform fresh, local ingredients transformed into mouthwatering dishes, that still respect the produce. That said, I’d recommend visiting at lunchtime if possible, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful grounds and truly immerse yourself in the experience of what Jampa is all about. Overall, Jampa is not just a restaurant, but a place where hospitality, sustainability, and flavor come together and I’d definitely go back.

What a great Sunday lunch we had🥰 The venue and the road driving into the huge greenery space is super impressive. The food is super innovative, tasty & complex. All the dish is very thoughtful & clever. The service is superb- very nice staff, warm welcome and super professional. We did the lunch 4 courses menu plus little shared plates and we walk out with very full yummy tummy 😇 Definitely going back there again !!!

A very nice fine dining restaurant snuggled in the vast green land that is part of a property project - Tri Vananda. They got a michelin green star for their sustainability concept, which was well elaborated for each dish. We went in July and happened to be the only group that evening, so it felt extra exclusive. So many amuse-bouche before the first course, we liked all the seafood dishes, and the service is just the right amount. We felt relaxed and comfortable. Would love to go back to try Hideaway - their day time edition.

This restaurant was really striking — it left a strong impression on me during my first time in Thailand. The food, location, cooking concept, and service are amazing!!! One of the best dish in Jampa is Beetroot definitely. The prefect combination between beetroot and fish bone sauce is really memorable. The Jampa’s Restaurant Manager - Nookie was excellent. The Team and she provided detailed explanations for every dish and each glass of wine, making the entire dining experience even more complete and satisfying.👍👍👍

Intimate, refined, and full of flavor — Jampa is Phuket fine dining done right. Jampa totally blew me away. It’s not just a dinner — it’s an experience. The setting was intimate and elegant, with a team of attentive servers who made the whole evening feel seamless and special. Every dish was thoughtful and full of flavor without being over the top. I loved the balance — light, local, seasonal, and beautifully presented. That spicy starter was bold and memorable, and both desserts were absolute standouts. It’s fine dining without the fuss — warm, creative, and grounded in sustainability. If you’re in Phuket and want something special, this place is a must. @JYoffe

This was an excellent experience! Chef Rick and the team did a formidable job the whole way through. From entering the restaurant to finishing. My absolute favorite dish were the beetroot - the taste combination in this dish made me smile and a feel alive in every bite. The word Fantastic doesn’t can’t even describe it. This restaurant is sustainable in every way, using everything in the product to minimize the waste we are making every day. Definitely worth a visit when you go to Phuket!
