Google
Overall, a very cute pie-cookie spot in the UWS! I would recommend the pecan or the chocolate chip cookie pie crust cookies - a great combination with the texture. The cookies - while somewhat small - are only 3$! Would definitely go back!

Alexandra Ponce de Leon

Google
A must visit every time I travel to NYC. The best cookies I’ve ever tried! And the half baked chocolate chip cookie dough croissant was like heaven! Hope it comes back to stores again because it was my favorite product!

Kris H

Google
Super cute spot, lots of flavor options. Very nice staff. I could eat 10 of these! Got the mango peach and passion fruit. Loved the flavors and texture.

Danang G

Google
I came across this spot after seeing a lot of great reviews. I tried the pie crust and the cookie s’mores. I’d give a 5/5 for the pie crust and a 4/5 for the cookie. The chocolate pie crust had a unique texture, almost like a croissant at the base. I didn’t try the half-baked cookie dough, but I’d definitely come back for it

ARLENE SOTO

Google
My first time buying these cookies . I love the guava and cheese and blueberry pie. I also got toffee chocolate chip and toffee with coconut. I can honestly say they were all delicious. Very friendly and clean. I will definitely visit them again and this time will probably taste their coffee. Would recommend this place for those with a sweet tooth like me 😉

Google
This place is a fantastic baked goods and dessert spot! 🧁 Janie's Life-Changing Baked Goods on the UWS 🗽 serves a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 cookies 🍪 and baked desserts! 🍰 Definitely get the Pie Crust 🥧 Cookies (got the Apple 🍎 one) and Chocolate 🍫 Chip Cookie Dough Croissant! 🥐 Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and the service is quick. ⏲️ Store 🏪 is small but nicely decorated 🛋️ and they have no seating 🪑 so prepare to take your order to-go. 🥡 I wish I knew about this place sooner!

Google
I’ve heard recently about this cute bakery in the UWS. A much needed visit was in the works. It’s small bakery, nestled in a residential area. The display of goodies had so much to offer! I decided on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Croissant. Oh my!!! This dessert is just intense in a good way. Flaky goodness wrapped in chocolate chips and cookie dough (plus lightly heated from home) is just heavenly! If you’re in the area please pay them a visit and you won’t be disappointed!

Google
The triple berry pie crust cookie was INCREDIBLE, a delicious and unique dessert like no other. I also had the half baked chocolate chip cookie. It was soft, chewy, and crunchy and the chocolate itself was really good too. Cheap prices too which makes it a go to spot.

Yelp
These cookies are indeed life-changing. I tried the sweet potato marshmallow, pumpkin, chocolate, apple, guava cream cheese, triple berry, and cranberry apple ginger. They were all incredible. Imagine the crumb topping of a crumble or coffee cake in cookie form. But now add your favorite pie filling and the perfect flaky pie crust to the base. That's what Janie's pie crust cookies are! I am partial to chocolate, so the chocolate was my favorite, followed closely by sweet potato, and then guava cream cheese. The chocolate filling reminds me of a gooey brownie and the sweet potato marshmallow is reminiscent of an oatmeal cookie-similar spices but with added sweet potato. I enjoyed the cranberry apple ginger cookie, but could not taste the apple or ginger at all-- they were overpowered by the cranberry. Nonetheless, l thoroughly enjoyed all of their cookie flavors and will definitely be returning! Service was great and the interior is very cute. Quite small and no place to eat your cookies, but great for to-go! Overall, I would highly recommend giving Janie's pie crust cookies a try!

Yelp
Updating our review because we absolutely love Janie's and are here at least once a week! The staff are so kind and the cookies are the greatest. We're moving out of the city this week and are going to miss Janie's the most. Already ready to place our order! Here's a rundown of our favorites: Pie crust cookies - my favorite is triple berry, but I try all of the seasonal flavors! This fall, sweet potato is amazingggg Nutella cookie pie - my husband's favorite - so rich and gooey and delicious Half baked chocolate chip - the best chocolate chip cookie in the city

Yelp
These pie cookies were the BEST desserts we ate in New York. While in nyc we tried sweets at the following places: Veniero's Pasticceria & Caffe; Dominique Ansel Bakery; Chip City; Jacques Torres Chocolate; Junior's; Levain Bakery; Zaro's Family Bakery; & B & L BAKERY. Janie's cookies were amazing: a great combination of textures, creative flavors, and ingredients! So buttery and flavorful.

Yelp
COME FOR THE PIE CRUST COOKIES! I repeat, the pie crust cookies are the star. So much so that we didn't get a picture of them because they were eaten so quickly! Everything here is incredible and it's your classic, cute bakery, with helpful and friendly counter staff. I also really enjoyed trying the viral cookie croissant when the city was losing it's mind over those --worth the hype actually!

Yelp
I like their regular cookies more than their pie filling cookies bc I feel like the pies are too rich to be able to finish-- but I love the concept. Their s'mores and regular chocolate chip are delicious and my favorites and their pink packaging is adorable.
google avatar

Anita T.

Yelp
The name sounds like a lofty claim but I've been made a believer!! The pie cookies are definitely unique and to die for - pie cookie is a bit of a misnomer since it's more a puff pastry base with a dab of pie filling and an excess of streusel on top. Sounds simple but the combo is phenomenal. Looking forward to getting some again next time in nyc!!

Yelp
Stopped by here recently towards the end of the day. No line in the store, so super fast, basically in and out. I got the pecan pie crust cookie, and their normal chocolate chip cookie. The pie crust cookie was good, and the "crust" part of it definitely added an extra butteriness, but it didn't taste too different from a sugar cookie that's been thoroughly cooked through. There's a pecan filling inside that is good, but it adds a lot of sweetness to a cookie that in my opinion, is already too sweet. I actually liked their regular cookie better. On the thinner side, so has a pretty decent crisp, with a good underlying chew. Still too sweet for my taste though. If you like sweeter cookies, you'll probably enjoy this spot!

Yelp
I heard about this location on IG because of their cookie croissant, but when I went to the location I was intrigued by their pie crust cookies. I ordered both the chocolate and the guava cheesecake and they were both so delicious! The flavors are really rich and it's pretty filling even though the cookie is on the smaller side. Cookies are $3 each and the cookie croissant was $7.50. Very tiny interior but there were only 2 people in front of me when I visited on a Sunday afternoon.

Yelp
Love Janie's! Been here a couple times now and tried basically the whole menu and my favorites have been the white chocolate funfetti, the orange creamsicle cookie and the pie crust cookies. She has tons of variations of the pie crust cookie like strawberry or pecan and they're all solid! The bakery is very small itself but it's easy to pop in and grab a cookie to go. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Updating my previous 5 star review to also recommend Janie's delivery. I usually go to the 80th street location and get fresh cookies and see what selection they have, but I wanted friends to experience the delight that are Janie's pie crust cookies! Sign up for their emails and you will receive occasional generous promotions such as 50% off your order. Highly recommend their funfetti cookie if you like super sweet frosting like my sister does, but the pie crust cookies are perfectly flavored with the sweetness coming from the fruit. Also love that they do pride cookies with some of the proceeds benefiting the Trevor Project.

Yelp
Love the story and concept, but not for me. It was unpalatably sweet for me. Safe to say anyone who doesn't enjoy deathly sweet things won't like this.

Yelp
I came here to compare the chocolate chip cookies. Cute little spot. I love underground spots that were seemingly created. They have two chocolate cookies. One is the pie crust. One is the half-baked chocolate chip. The half baked is a normal style, familiar. Definitely sugary. Not buttery. Great chocolate. Melts. 7.7, which is a great score for the style. Slightly too sweet to be comforting. As for the pie crust... Wow, it is more like a mini chocolate pie. Not sure it is comparable. This is buttery as hell. While the half baked seems like a homegrown anywhere USA cookie, this is like a farm stand pie in Pennsylvania. I don't want to give this a chocolate chip cookie rating... I guess there's no chips, so that settles that. Anyways, I'm good giving them five stars on Yelp. P Also $1 coffees, iced or hot on Fridays. Hard to deny that.

Yelp
The name of this place is a lot to live up to, but I can honestly say that I am still thinking about these cookies a week later. I have had my eye zeroed IN on those pie crust cookies for awhile now and I finally found myself in the area. First off, have to shout out the fact that they're open until 11pm.... like Janie's just GETS the late night cookie craving. My family and I tried one of each of the pie crust cookie flavors they had available when I was there. I don't even know if I could possibly remember them all, but the standouts for me were definitely the carrot cake, sweet potato, and apple pie. The others were also great, but I will say I wish some of them had more of their flavor than they did. The reason why I took off a star is because these cookies are really small to be $3 each. They feel extremely bite sized, and even though I understand that they're special and there's likely more time and effort that go into each cookie, it's just hard to justify the price with the size as a customer. These are definitely great, though, and I'd encourage any cookie lovers to give them a try at least once!

Yelp
Came in today to try the crookies and they were amazing!! I liked them better than other crookies I have tried around the city. The worker was sooo sweet and had great recommendations. The pie crust cookies were delicious and something different! I definitely want to come back and try the cherry pie crust cookie.

Yelp
Yelp kindly pointed out Janie's Life Changing Baked Goods to me when I was seeking something sweet after lunch nearby. Having never heard of Janie's, on their website, I read about how founder Janie turned to baking to help rebuild her life and stay sober. It's a microscopic shop in a basement on a residential UWS block so no seating; I recommend taking your desserts to Central Park. I couldn't resist purchasing one of the famous pie crust cookies ($3), along with a chocolate chip cookie ($3.50). The strawberry rhubarb pie crust cookie I gobbled down right away but I saved the chocolate chip cookie for when I returned home. It wasn't quite at the level of some of my NYC favorites, and I don't think I helped matters by keeping it stuck in the bag for a long time but it still was very respectable. If you love pie crust and cookies, tell your feet to whisk you to Janie's Life Changing Baked Goods!

Yelp
Such a unique cookie - I'm in love! I especially love the ones with fruit filling. It's like having a cake and pie in one. The crust has yummy layers and just so fun to eat. Honestly unlike any other cookie out there.
google avatar

Monic R.

Yelp
Yummy berry cookie! It's like a mini pie in a cookie. Cute idea! Kind service. Got it to go and wish we'd gotten more!

Yelp
This sounds so cheesy, but I actually do feel like my life was changed by Janie's. I've always been a big cookie person, but Janie's cookies are 1) delicious, 2) unique, and 3) fairly priced. The bakery itself is fairly low frills -- there's a display case up front with all the different cookies and the person manning the counter was super helpful / provided recs. That said, there's nowhere to sit, so be prepared to grab and go. In my opinion, though, the quality of desserts more than makes up for this. My partner and I got the pie crust cookies, which have a sweet crumbled pie crust on top and a slightly saltier, flakier bottom. The center is absolutely stuffed with flavor (I got the chocolate, which was amazing), and I thought the $3 price tag was more than fair, even though the cookies were a bit smaller. TLDR: the cookies here are SO good and I will definitely be back for more.
google avatar

Annette S.

Yelp
The cookies were good! They were a bit more on the sweeter side but if that's what you're looking for, this is a good place to visit. They are a little small for the price in my opinion but do taste good.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Appreciate the size of the cookies where it's big enough to feel satisfied but small enough to eat the entire thing and feel good about yourself. Monster cookies are the norm these days so I appreciate the regular size of these cookies. The pie crust cookie is very different than most cookies I've eaten. Crispy and flaky on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside.

Nikita K.

Yelp
Everything about this small bakery was vibrant down to the bright pink napkins. My friend and I met up here to celebrate getting her first job! She got the apple pie crust cookie and we each got a chocolate chip cookie. My friend liked the pie crust cookie more than the chocolate chip cookie. It just seemed like a very tiny pie which is a fun concept! The chocolate chip cookie was a bit too sweet for our preference. However, I imagine someone with a big sweet tooth would enjoy it. It may also be nice to have half with a strong cup of coffee or tea. The cookie was baked very well and looked like it had a layer of chocolate in the middle after biting into it. I think I would have absolutely fallen in love with this cookie if it was made with dark chocolate or a mix of milk & dark chocolate. I probably wouldn't make an effort to come back here (unless that dark chocolate cookie one day exists..) but you can tell there's a lot of skill and love that goes into this business : ) definitely worth a try if you're around! I'd probably try one of the pie crust cookies next time.

Yelp
This tiny little shop that you can easily walk by without noticing. It's not on street level as you have to walk down a few steps to enter. There are so many different varieties to choose from which are not your typical cookies. The pie crust cookies have fillings on the inside packed with soooo much goodness!! I had to buy a bunch to try. Guava and cream cheese, Chocolate expresso pecan, cranberry apple ginger, triple berry just to name a few.. all these were really good. I even bought some of the cookies which are pretty big, soft and chewy. Smores and chocolate chip, can't go wrong with those.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Life changing? You bet! This upper west side bakery sure knows how to create the perfect cookie! Service was fantastic! Despite the long line everyone was friendly and patient with a 6 year old set on saying her order herself! Tiny spot, but the smell of cookies oozes out into the street calling you in! Highly recommend as a treat anytime of day!

Yelp
Never gave a thought about a pie cookie combo until I heard about Janie's famous pie cookies so I was immediately intrigued and had to try them out. I tried several flavors, including strawberry rhubarb, peach, triple berry, and blueberry lemon. I don't know what I was expecting but the pie cookie tastes exactly how it sounds - the flaky pie crust on the bottom gives the cookie a nice crunch, whilst the cookie part on top gives you that soft, ooey-gooey bite. Pretty unique cookies that I would recommend - would be great as a gift too! Keep in mind that this is a small shop so you'll need to take your cookies to go. As a side note, they do sell regular cookies and let me just say that their s'mores cookie is THE BEST s'mores cookies I've ever had - and I've tried a lot. Haven't tried the other cookies but if they're anything like the s'mores, I'm sure they're unforgettable!!
google avatar

Alison A.

Yelp
Very small cute shop, also got a fruit iced tea which was really refreshing for the hot weather Pie bite 4/5 If you're craving pie , this is a move! They have tons of fruity and chocolate flavors to pick from. The pie crust itself is super flavorful and buttery Triple chocolate toffee cookie 4.5/5 I preferred this over the pie bite. The crisp was perfect and the toffee flavor paired really well with the chocolate. I'd be curious to see what the other cookies are like as well! Im sure they are all great
google avatar

Ting Z.

Yelp
Delicious, delicious cookies. I LOVED the pie crust cookies, such an innovative idea, and who doesn't love cookies and pie? Getting them together in the same dessert is awesome. HIGHLY recommend the coffee toffee cookies, amazing flavor, and the perfect chewiness. Chocolate chip cookies are definitely solid and liked how gooey they were in the middle (don't trust any bakery that can't do a good chocolate chip cookie) but didn't stand out to me quite as much as the others. Would love to go back and try their cookie croissant!

Yelp
I've heard so many great things about Janie's Life Changing Baked Goods, particularly her pie crust cookies so I decided to stop by on my way back from my weekly eggs at Millport Dairy. The bakery is fairly small and located in the basement so it's not wheelchair accessible. I ordered the most popular flavor, the chocolate pie crust cookie ($3) as well as the blueberry lemon ($3) which the staff member recommended. The pie crust cookies were a perfect blend of flaky crust and buttery streusel in every bite (granted they are quite small so it was only about three bites). I liked the blueberry lemon better than the chocolate because the citrus helped to cut through the richness of the pie crust. However, what really wowed me was the coffee toffee butter crunch cookie ($3.50). It was so delicious and buttery, with a deep salty-sweet toffee flavor and a hint of espresso at the end. While the pie crust cookies were creative, the toffee crunch really stole the show.

Yelp
I actually got to try their pie crust cookies in the Queens night market, and I thought they were just alright - not bad by any means, but it didn't make me want to buy them again. I got a bunch to buy for a BD party - ended up getting 2 dozens because they were having a special where a dozen of any cookie would provide $3 discount each. And they were great! I'll say they do tend more towards the sugary side more than I would prefer, but overall I would get it again although they are on the pricier side. I got all the 8 pie crust cookies at the time, but didn't get to try all of them since they were for the party. Of the ones I tried, I liked the chocolate espresso pecan and chocolate the most. I tried the blackberry honey, and still good, but a little too sugary. The textures on all were great though, flaky and buttery, but again a little too sugary. Don't sleep on their non-pie crust cookies. I tried the butter toffee (great flavor and texture, and doesn't stick to your teeth like toffee - which I don't particularly mind), red velvet cheesecake (much softer texture and still good flavoring), caramel cookie pie (good, but didn't particularly stand out), half baked chocolate chip cookie (lots of milk chocolate chips, but a bit too sugary), and the loaded cookie (PB dough with different things in it - my least favorite).

Yelp
I have to confess that I was not previously familiar with this establishment. I was looking for a place to have dessert after dark in the Upper West Side. I also have to admit I was skeptical about the claims in the title: but after several gobbles of buttery delicious-ness, I can confirm the claims are true. These are life changing baked goods. I don't suspect I will ever forget about these flaky pie cookies and their cookie cousins. I almost feel overwhelmed thinking about them and it was only an hour ago. The cookie pies represented true hope and progress for inter-pastry marriage. The pie crust cookies were both naughty and nice. I am very glad I selected these cookies and look forward to enjoying them over the upcoming days of inclement weather.
google avatar

Kisbel F.

Yelp
I was walking by and couldn't resist after seeing a sign that read pie crusts cookies. Stopped by and ordered a bunch for me and a friend I was on my way to meet and we both ate all of them. SO GOOD! I have to return because I really wanted to pop them in the air fryer but they never made it cause I ate them all. Highly recommend! So many good flavors too! My fave was definitely the Guava and Strawberry Rhubarb but they're all so good you can't go wrong. Just go!

Yelp
Very good! The order ahead pick up process was easy, however they lost a star due to the very awkward experience at the uptown store. I patiently waited outside for a little since the shop is very tiny and didn't want to overwhelm customers who were paying and on their way out. When I got inside, I was NOT greeted. I actually said "hi!" And the girl behind the counter stood there at cash register while the other girl was explaining all the baked confections to another couple. Then suddenly a woman came in and cut the entire line asking when cookies would be out of oven. It was so rude. The girl behind counter looked at me and I asked how can I grab my pre-paid order.. in which she first responded to the rude customer 1st that she would need to wait 10-15min. This turned me off completely. I would have tried other items but felt so unwelcome. We grabbed the 2 cookie croissants order and left. (Hi Janie.. if you are reading this.. please remind your team to be mindful of the customer experience. You're going to lose business when your staff allow rude customers to dictate the flow)
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
Great cookies! Girl working behind the counter was very kind. I can see what the hypes all about.
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
What can I say? It's a good bakery. What they do is simply delicious. It's so simple yet. It's so good piecrust cookies. The staff member on Friday evening was incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave me great recommendations, including her personal favorites. I loved the chocolate pecan, and the apple cookies in particular. It's nondescript, but it's absolutely worth the visit.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Yum! These cookies are very tasty. I tried both some of the pie crust cookies and more classic types as well. The place is tiny and takeout only, but great for grab and go.
google avatar

Tamara L.

Yelp
Had to go and try the crookie! I love the pie cookies at Janies already but wow the crookie is better than expected. A must try!
google avatar

Honor G.

Yelp
Pros Women owned bakery Pink & purple whimsical decor Friendly staff Soothing music Late hours Pie crust cookies Variety of standard & non standard cookies Women owned coffee beans Delicious cookies Pink bottle sanitizer Cons No seating
google avatar

Ann N.

Yelp
Unique cookies! Wow, innovation that excited when it comes to cookies. The pie crust cookies had a really different texture. The bottom was pie crusted and the cookies were filled with the flavor of choice. My only complaint for the pie crust cookie was that it was $2.75 and could take 2 bites to finish it. It was really small and wish it was bigger. The half baked chocolate chip cookie was decent. There are definitely way better chocolate chip cookies around Manhattan. These cookies were also not fresh or hot and I wish they were! Service was fast. It's a pretty small shop, could fit maybe 4-5 people. You pick out what cookies you want and the cashier puts it in a bag for you.
google avatar

Audrey W.

Yelp
Delicious -- sampled a bunch of the pie crust cookies. Favorite was the apple; least favorite was the carrot cake. That pie crust -- such a genius idea, and perfectly executed. Also ate a s'mores cookie. Loved the marshmallow on top. Was tempted to try one of the cookie dough croissants -- there were still a few left at 2pm on a Saturday, surprisingly. (They looked a bit over the top.... Says the woman who just ate a bunch of other cookies instead)
google avatar

Cib S.

Yelp
We were on our way to Insomnia when we passed by this little gem. The cookies were delicious, some of the best I've ever had. The employee behind the counter was helpful and patient answering all our questions. The store is small, but very clean and neat. Everything we bought was tasty; half baked chocolate chip, guava cream cheese, coconut chocolate chip, berry filled. We will be back!
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Really unique and delicious cookies! My boyfriend and I stumbled across this spot one night walking around the upper west side. The bakery is small but very well lit and that's how we noticed it. Boasting life changing baked goods, we had to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. We got four pie crust cookies: the original pecan, apple, triple berry & guava cheese. The cookies are crispy with soft fillings and a delicious pie crust on every bottom. I loved all the flavors we got but my favorite is by far the triple berry. The flavors were well balanced in terms of sweetness, tart, and buttery. I highly recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Cole D.

Yelp
I think this place is good, but nothing exemplary or extraordinary. Good tasty pie cookies. I like the concept. They tasted great. Wish they heated them up. I like the small portion size. Nice service. Open late. Smells good inside.
google avatar

Josephine L.

Yelp
I hate pie. I am Team Cake all the way. When the pie vs. cake apocalypse inevitably happens, I will happily fight on the side of cake to topple our pie overlords and die an honorable heroine's death covered in frosting. So when I was dragged here to try pie cookies, I was not happy. The only thing worse than pie is cookie ruined by pie. But....It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. That first bite of crunchy crust + soft center was actually quite nice. The only problem was, the crunch never let up, and my geriatric teeth were protesting by the end. We got the Guava Cheese and Pumpkin. The latter was the stronger flavor, which was disappointing because I was really hoping to be punched in the face with the essence of guava. In short: nice idea, too tough on my teeth. Guess that's the way the cookie crumbles (ho, ho!).
google avatar

Yelp
The pie crust cookies are fabulous! They have 3 flavors available year round, and 3 that rotate seasonally if I'm remembering correctly. The toffee cookie is also delicious with thin crispy edges and a softer middle. However, the half-baked chocolate chip croissant was a major let down. To start off, there was a hair in the cookie dough that resides in the middle of the croissant :( I kind of ate around it because for $7.50, I was going to at least try it. It was incredibly heavy, overly sweet, and doughy. The croissant part wasn't flakey didn't really add much to the experience. It's a super cute shop, but I'd pass on the croissant and go straight for the pie crust cookies instead.
google avatar

Sarah I.

Yelp
Cute little shop in UWS. Have to say it was a little overrated/ overhyped. The cookies were a bit overpriced for how small they are, and I think there's definitely better cookies in the UWS (I know levain is also overhyped but it definitely deserves some of the hype). Maybe smaller cookies aren't my vibe but I wasn't super impressed by this place. That being said the red velvet and toffee were good. I wouldn't go out of my way for this but if I were in the area would stop by :)
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Janie's is me and my husband's go to cookie spot! If you are in the neighborhood and craving something sweet it's a no brainer you've gotta stop here. I'm in love with their oatmeal cookie and their s'mores. So yeah I highly recommend! Also if you're ever in need of buying a gift or bringing a snack to a function this is the perfect treat that will wow everyone:) Lastly excellent customer service! When one of my orders got messed up they were immediately responsive and quick to fix it! Again highly recommend Janie's, all around awesome business that puts thought in to every item and customer

Yelp
Alright all you sweet tooths, add Janie's to your list, because the cookies here are fantastic. The half-baked is chocolate chip heaven--golden crisp edge, soft middle, with a gooey, chocolatey center. And the funfetti? Light and buttery with a small, fun surprise layer of icing in the middle. I didn't have a chance to try the pies, but I'm surely coming back to try one (and get more cookies). I'd highly recommend getting some of Janie's Life-Changing Baked Goods in your life!

Yelp
I Love this place! I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint. Also the flavors change depending on the season. I had taken them as a dessert for parties and everyone seems to love them. The Flavors are awesome but go for the crumbles on top of the cookies. Not too much filling more of a cookie than a pie. One could cut them in halves or fourths to make them stretch. I highly recommend this place and will return soon. Love her back story too!

Yelp
Janie has been baking and selling on line since 2015. She used her place in Manhattanville as her headquarters. You can order cakes and more for special occasions and have them delivered. Recently she opened her store on West 80th Street. I went in and bought the famous Pie Crust Cookie. It absolutely delicious. I could definitely get addicted to these cookies. She has so many flavors. I haven't tried her other baked goods. Right now she has her specialty cookies making a big debut in the cookie competition going on! Janie was my top choice for a cookie in 2021. I'm going back as soon as the weather allows. There's no seating inside. They also sell coffee. It's a cute little store. I advise you to make a special trip with your appetite for a delicious cookie. Or two!
