Family-run and praised by The Gazette’s dining critic for well-executed standards. Expect crisp orange chicken, wok-kissed noodle soups, and friendly service at fair prices.

We had the best time at Jasmine Cafe last night. Our server was the sweetest and gave the best service. Food came out fast and hot. We got the basil tofu and sesame tofu and added some extra veggies. The sesame tofu had just a light batter that was crispy but wasn’t overly fried/breaded. Love this local spot.

Worst food ever! Salt & pepper shrimp with no flavor (taste like all corn starch) dry af. “Fried rice” with nothing in it, looks like soy sauce and nothing else, husband meal was beef noodles (not one veggie) zero flavor and still ended up having to pay $40 for food we will now throw away. Not one ounce of flavor, at all.

Google
Really tasty take out or delivery food. Entree portions are always big enough to share, or you can stretch one order to cover a couple of meals. Only three stars for service and atmosphere because the rice is a really small portion especially if you order for three or more, the online pay portal accepts tips, but the receipt on pickup is printed in a way prompting a second tip (can’t even see tip you already paid on p/u receipt), and dining in is just okay (normal strip mall seating vibe). I do recommend the food for flavorful take out or delivery!

Google
Had BBQ Pork and chicken fried rice. Both were delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Google
This is the first and only restaurant in Colorado that deserves 5 stars! Excellent service and food….all of the chicken is super crispy and the food is packed with flavor…its extremely affordable and you get massive portions, we left with boxes full!

Google
Good stuff! Lunch plate less than $12 with a soup, fried rice, egg roll, and entree! Absolutely delicious, and HOT! Even my fortune cookie was on point.

Google
Get ready for Mush Galor. $45 in the trash. Got Generals chicken and Kung Pao chicken. Both were inedible by anyone in our house. They were just tough chicken with soggy breading drowning in sauce and undercooked onions. The fried rice and noodles were BLAND BLAND BLAND. The only ok thing was the egg rolls but they’re more of a spring roll wrap than a typical egg roll wrap.

Google
We ordered and picked up. When we got home, we were very displeased with the food. It looked like they took the previous day's food and reheated it. The orange chicken was definitely not fresh. It looked and tasted like it was fried more than once - again, probably left over food. I would HIGHLY suggest not ordering here. Very disappointed. We threw away the food - didn't even think it was good enough for left-overs!

Yelp
Having lived in Hong Kong twice for work I developed a taste for great Cantonese fare. Jasmine Cafe is a rare gem tucked away in a strip mall. I have to admit that it's decor could be best described as year-round Chinese New Year - similar to the neighbor who leaves the Christmas lights on the house and has the tree in the living room well into April. But Jasmine Cafe carries the vibe of a Tsim Sha Tsui hole-in-the-wall with dignity. Beyond the decor though is the food which is traditional American Chinese fare though well-seasoned and without the sting of MSG. The lunch specials are superb and a bargain at under $12 which includes soup, spring roll, and generously portioned entrees. If you have some favorite Cantonese dishes the staff will make it gladly. They get a kick out of a gweilo asking for something that is straight out of a Causeway Bay eatery. I highly recommend Jasmine Cafe!

Yelp
We were referred to Jasmine Cafe by a friend and decided to give it a try. We started with the pan-fried dumplings. They were cooked well and tasted fine, but not quite what we expected--more fried than the seared style typically associated with true pan-frying. Still enjoyable, just a different interpretation. The sesame chicken and Mongolian beef were both good. The Mongolian beef had a sauce that reminded me a bit of brown turkey gravy--unexpected, but still flavorful in its own way. The garlic chicken had a unique sweetness to it that stood out from more traditional garlic chicken dishes. The servers were polite and attentive, and service overall was smooth. The ambience is simple and very much what you'd expect from a classic American-Chinese restaurant--no frills, but comfortable. To be fair, we're probably a bit spoiled after living near one of the top Chinese restaurants in the country in Arizona, so it's hard not to compare. That said, Jasmine Cafe held its own, and I'd recommend giving it a try at least once if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had about 20min before I had an appt next door. I was seated quickly, and before I knew it I had my lunch, piping hot, and delicious. I ordered the kung pao combo and a side of cheese wontons. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I could also see that they were taking their time verifying door dash orders making sure drivers were picking up the correct orders. I was pleasantly satisfied and would order from here again.

Yelp
Best sesame chicken I've had in the city--medium heat and a little crisp. Suuuuper clean and cute inside. Good eggrolls too.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible Chinese food with unique options! I hadn't seen sesame tofu before, so I had to try it and it completely blew me away. The flavor and texture was amazing. A little bit sweet, good ratio of sesame seeds and just a slight bit of heat. Although there's a fire symbol next to the dish I really didn't find it spicy. It came with either brown, jasmine or fried rice and I opted for jasmine which went together so well. I was excited it came with a fortune cookie too! My takeout order was ready when I arrived and it was so affordable. My only complaint is that they didn't have vegetarian egg rolls and that it's not closer to me. If it was I'd eat here every day!

Yelp
Y'all, I think I've found my special fried rice place. Since I seem to be eating my way through COS via UberEATS, I wanted to try a new spot to see if it'll be added to my list of go-tos. So, I stumbled on this spot randomly and quickly honed in on their fried rice options. Happy that they had combination fried rice, I place an order and their fried egg rolls, which were recommended. Like others have said, the rice is salty, which I realized after adding soy sauce *face palm*. But, salty or not, this rice was A1. I'm very pleased with the taste and, fingers crossed, I'm hoping that they'll be able to consistently meet this standard of (my) excellence because I would love to continue patronizing this restaurant. Haven't yet tried the egg roll but, I'm expecting it to be fantastic. I 100% recommend this place. Leave the soy sauce and enjoy the flavor.

Yelp
The food is immaculate and always fresh along with great customer service, and a very clean restaurant.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, good prices, very filling, and the service is great! Nice quiet, local feeling ambiance

Yelp
Sunday evening, ordered 4 meals, 3 of which were supposed to come with steamed rice and only got 2. Wish I can speak highly of a little mom and pop shop, but everything was tasteless. The two beef plates we ordered, the beef was oddly textured and unflavored. The one chicken meal we got, the chicken didn't look or taste like chicken. Stomach isn't feeling to hot right now. Didn't take pictures of the food.

Ronald M.

Yelp
The food was served hot and was well cooked & seasoned. The amount served was very good. The service was also excellent. We required a quiet space for a meeting and they very kindly provided that. It is a small restaurant but the ambience is quite nice. And the prices are also very good. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
Our food was hot, the service was very friendly. I think I found my favorite fried rice! Fried rice did not need any soy sauce, the taste was on point. The beef was nice and tender. The portions were enough to share, we even took some home ! We went during a slower time of day it was nice and quite

Karen I.

Yelp
While not often, we have eaten here several times in the mid afternoon and every single time is excellent. Today was even better when I didn't think that possible. We've always had great service and friendly staff, and the portions are large, often enough to take leftovers home. It's a great quiet place to get good food and the artworks on the walls and fans are beautiful and the overall atmosphere relaxing.
google avatar

Jill F.

Yelp
Haven't been here for quite a while and I don't know why! Was craving some fried food since I don't eat fried very often and I ordered sesame chicken. Everything about the experience was on point. Food was fresh and tasty. Portion size was right on for lunch. Hot and sour soup with plenty of egg and tasted exactly like you would expect. An egg roll that tasted like an eggroll and was hot, crispy and fresh. Sesame chicken with the right amount of heat, crispy with a sweet and spicy sauce that wasn't drowning my whole plate, and brown rice cooked to perfection. Served quickly. $7.89 with tax at lunch, drinking water. The restaurant was quiet and clean and service was friendly and attentive. A great experience all around.

Yelp
On a whim, my wife wanted Chinese takeout this evening. So after a quick search for someplace new, near my route home, I decided on Jasmine Cafe Chinese Food. My wife and I had some wonton soup, egg rolls, and Kung Pao chicken. The soup was tasty and had a good amount of wontons floating around. We weren't really fans of the egg rolls. They seemed too dry and I didn't really like the preparation. The King Pao chicken was very good, with lots of chicken and veggies in a delicious sauce. Price was definitely right. We got plenty of food for about $20. Even have some leftovers. I'd go back again but I'll pass on the egg rolls.
google avatar

Sue H.

Yelp
Everything was delicious - best we've had since we moved here a year ago. Husband had Kung Pao Scallops and said they were large and tasty, cooked perfectly. I had Beef Egg Foo Yong (spelling?) and it came with lots of delicious sauce/gravy to pour over the yummy rice. Our Won Ton appetizers were large and very good also. We both have leftovers for tomorrow. We ordered take out and everything was ready within 15 minutes and packaged to go with nothing missing. We even got fresh fortune cookies. We'll be back soon !

Ava M.

Yelp
I wanted some Chinese food and decided to try this place. I was very satisfied with my order. The food was good. Service and ambiance are nice. I will continue to try different foods every time I go.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
I haven't written a review on yelp until now. If the food is bad I'll just go on my way and never eat at that place again. But this food was awful that I feel like I have to warn others. I ordered sesame chicken and beef lo mein. The sesame chicken was awful. Not sure if it was even chicken. It was so dry and soggy at the same time. The beef in the lo mein was tasteless and noodle were so oil not to mention no vegetables in the entire dish.

Ab T.

Yelp
Went there on a Sunday and the food was horrible! Better than nothing I suppose . There was no one there but maybe I ordered the wrong food! Nonetheless I don't think I will be going there again! I threw it all in the trash!
google avatar

Rod S.

Yelp
Tried it twice. Entree was pretty good. The rice had a super salty taste. Fried Wonton w/pork are better than average.
google avatar

Madalyn O.

Yelp
Super good really recommend. I love the orange chicken and fried rice but there is so much to choose from. I would really recommend this place for people who like Chinese food. We usually get it delivered and there service is amazing it came so Quick. If you want to try something new this is a great place to try.

R J.

Yelp
Had their egg rolls tonight, and they were horrible, small, overpriced, hell, Jack In The Box, has better egg rolls than this place!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Doesn't matter the food quality if the attitude of the people there is horrible. The passive-aggressive attitude of the staff doesn't play well with me. There were no customers in the place when I arrived, so it wasn't like they were busy. No eye contact. I ordered just short of $100 of food. I was taking it for a family outing at a park. They all love lo main so I thought 6 meals and egg rolls would be a home run for me. FAILURE When we opened the full bag there were no chop sticks or ANY eating utensils. Not even a single napkin! REALLY???

Geo P.

Yelp
The older female server was rude and dismissive. Only my food was cold, too.
google avatar

John David M.

Yelp
First experience was ordering Chicken Egg Fu Yung and this time I ventured into the Kung Pao Combination and there are no regrets...Hot & Sour soup was spot on, the Kung Pao was a flavorful mix of meats and veggies, the rice was very good-rice kernels completely cooked. Overall-a very enjoyable dining experience (footnote:got it to go as I did not have an idea of how busy they were. many dining establishments had turned out the lights. On a Saturday night!?! Makes no sense!!!)
google avatar

Bart M.

Yelp
Ten years ago we had a disappointing visit here, but tonight decided to try them again! Glad we did! Called in our order, sweet and patient accented woman answered, accurately took our order. Our food came quickly, free delivery over $15, btw. The delivery guy asked if he could hand us our food, distance-considerate. We got egg rolls, cheese wontons, Beef Broccoli, Pad Tai, Double Pan Fried Noodles and Sesame Chicken. This was all good tasting hot food! Nothing blew us away great but we'll be back next time for more Chinese food at Jasmine Cafe.
google avatar

Ashlee V.

Yelp
Give me all the double pan fried noodles! So tasty. This is my go to order, combo style. It even come with rice. All of their food is actually pretty good but I never order anything but the pan fried noodles. The sauce is amazing and the portion is huge.
google avatar

Ron G.

Yelp
This restaurant is really good. They don't over batter the meats, so you actually get what you pay for... Meat.. Not batter. Gosh the food was hot and not dried out. We got carry out for sesame chicken and beef& broccoli. Both were great.
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
They have been my go to Chinese place in the springs since I was in middle school! I'm now 24 and every time I visit home I have to go here. Not only is it super nostalgic for me... the food never disappoints. Their orange chicken, wonton soup, and their combination lo mein, are just a few of my favorites!

Linda S.

Yelp
OMG - just delivered two hot meals - Fast delivery - Kung Poa Shrimp Wow! Seasame Chicken - Wow! Can't wait to order again soon or go into their Stetson Hills locaction. Excellent, delicious, seasoned just on spot! Best Chinese Food in Colorado Springs!!
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
Horrible Customer service. New to the area and ordered the other night and the food was good. They forgot our egg rolls so they were going to give us them on next order. Well we started to order tonight and mentioned the egg rolls and they continued to argue with me that there is "No Notes" to give us egg rolls. WOW Lost a $45 order today and a future Customer over $3 egg rolls (That we paid for and YOU forgot).. would not recommend this establishment..

Lea I.

Yelp
Our go to Chinese food spot. Great portions and have always loved every meal! Very delicious!
google avatar

Ray R.

Yelp
Got the Sesame Chicken and it was awful! The chicken was way over done, dried out, no sauce and tough as shoe leather. My wife got Shrimp Lo Mein. Shrimp was also way over done. The egg rolls were tasteless and the insides was clumped together. It all came out in the first bite. The only thing that was good was the egg drop soup and the Crab Cheese Won Tons. This is our 6th or 7th visit and we would not recommend Jasmine to any of our friends or neighbors. This is our neighborhood Restaurant and we love supporting local businesses but if you want some good Chinese food, this is not the place. They need a new cook or new owners.
google avatar

Nora M.

Yelp
My daughter took me to Jasmine Cafe when I arrived for my visit from Atlanta. This restaurant serves FRESH dishes, and it is so delicious. The first time we went, she got beef and broccoli, and I got chicken with garlic sauce, and we shared the cheese rangoons. The lunch specials come with a choice of soup and with an eggroll, and are very generous portions. I went back and got the Hunan shrimp, and all of our meals have been delicious. Honestly you can tell that they use top notch ingredients. The rangoons are so light and delicious; I have had these at other restaurants that are heavy from grease. This is a fabulous neighborhood Chinese restaurant, and we will definitely be back!
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Interior is large and clean. Food is what you'd expect, and I haven't had any problems so far. Prices are comparable to other places in town as well. Service is good when dining in and they haven't gotten any of my orders wrong when I order take out.
google avatar

Carlton M.

Yelp
Delicious food. Huge portions. Priced Right. Took the kids. Mom and the kids shared orange chicken and lo mein. Dad and me shared family meal. We ordered egg rolls and cheese wontons. We shouldn't have. the family dinner comes with the poo poo platter that has egg rolls and cream cheese wontons We had so much food. The soup bowl is big enough for 5 people. It was for two of us. He ordered the Shanghai meat lovers I had generals chicken. I have loved Asian food since my first time in Germany when an immigrant made us the best Chinese food I've ever had. This was really close. It reminds me a little of the place from a Christmas story. Only in decorations. we ate a good chunk of our food and we still took home what was the same size as three items at that Panda place. it's so much food they could get away with serving you one entree with everything else and it would still be fine. the general's chicken with seasoned perfectly kids liked it and even though there was Chili's visible to the eye was not spicy at all. That's very important to them. Dad loved the flavors of his pork beef and chicken. Will be back and hopefully often. Kids loved it, Dad loved and I loved it. Mom's picky. But we'd go back.
google avatar

Victor V.

Yelp
Came and had dinner. Ordered the Wor Won Ton Soup and their Po Po Platter. Soup was brought to use first. Soup base was tasty but was luke warm. Celery was old because I could see it turned brown on the edge. Won Ton was chewy. Po Po platter. We ordered for 2. It came with 2 each, Beef skewers/Pork skewers/deep fried shrimp/egg rolls/chicken wings and cream cheese won ton. Beef Skewers must have been sitting out because it was cold and chewy. Pork Skewers was good. Shrimp was over cooked. Like it was fried earlier. Then refried to serve us. Egg rolls and won ton was good. Chicken wing was undercooked. Won't be coming to this place again.

A S.

Yelp
First the tea was bad and when I asked for a new cup I was told that is just how it is. I got Mongolian Beef and there were about 3 strips of meat and the rest onions. The fried rice was good once I added a lot of soy sauce.

Robert F.

Yelp
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the US outside of New York in San Francisco. This restaurant never fails to please. Each and every ingredient and preparation is meticulously at it's best. I have eaten here several times and everything has always been excellent. I get the General Tso's chicken extra spicy and it actually comes out extra spicy unlike most of the restaurants in the US which can't seem to get the extra. The barbecued pork lo mein and the sweet-and-sour pork are also quite good. The wantons are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Give it a try.

Jay L.

Yelp
Food is good. Staff is friendly. Not really big but they do a lot of take out. We have tried other places but Jasmine is our favorite.
google avatar

Brien H.

Yelp
This about my...4th time here. The customer service has always been above average. The food is great and the food comes out pretty quick. One of the best things I like about Jasmine Cafe, is that they are willing to change or accommodate menu items too suite customers needs or preferences. If you like Thai food, give the Pad Thai a shit, itxs just as good as some of the Thai restaurants in town. There is always parking and in its in a great location. There is a King Soopers, a gas station, a Baskin Robin's, I vet, a dog specialty store, and some other stuff in the same parking lot . I will definitly continue to keep coming back.
google avatar

Kenlyn E.

Yelp
I had the shrimp fired rice and wonton soup. Pretty good flavor in both dishes. Called for pickup and food was made quickly. Unless you ask for plastic wear or soy sauce they will not place them in the bag for you.
google avatar

Kendra P.

Yelp
Decided to stop in and grab some take out for dinner. The atmosphere didn't seem like anything too fancy. The decor was minimal. But not everyone eats with their eyes so it was what it was. We ordered Kung Po, 2 orange chicken, 1 beef and broccoli and 1 combo pad Thai. First- The Combo pad Thai came as a suggestion from a friendly couple waiting for their food. We chatted about their experience living over seas and how they really like Jasmine Cafe as one of their go to spots. We were excited to try their suggestion and it did not Disappoint. It was YUMMY!! We ordered fried rice with all of them. We were trying to feed a crew of 6. 2 Adults, 3 teens and 1 tween. In all reality we could have fed 12 with the serving sizes. We all ate and barely put a dent in the food. I feel like I've been eating Chinese food all weekend, because I have. And everytime I fix a plate. It's tastes equally as good as the first time. The only issue we had was that we ordered 2 orange chicken and 1 beef and broccoli. But actually received 3 beef and broccoli ‍. We would have loved to try the orange chicken! Maybe next time!! Fairly fast but not too fast take out Decent priced ($60 for all 6 orders and a few fried rice Large serving size Tasty Food
google avatar

Monique K.

Yelp
Ordered take out. They were busy and fast to check everyone out. The food was yummy and the portions were pretty big. Thank you!

Nikita Y.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from Jasmine Cafe on a whim and we were not disappointed. We are from NY so we hold a high standard for Chinese food and it has been hard to find GOOD Chinese food here in the springs. Amazing flavor and very fresh. We ordered kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, and vegetable lomein.. absolutely delicious! We found our new favorite Chinese food spot!
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
I always love the combination fried rice, pad thai, and garlic chicken wings fro here. They never disappoint. Take out or dine in
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
ROTTEN,TOXIC, DISGUSTING, AND UNETHICAL OWNERS. i ordered dinner for my family tonight. Spent $40 for a delivered meal. Not only were the prices on their website misleading, well flat out wrong, but their food is ladened with MSG. It is toxic and when I brought my sick reaction to their attention they did nothing. Buyer beware this restaurant is by far the WORST!
google avatar

Mollie D.

Yelp
Great good, great delivery. I got the shrimp fried rice, and my mom got the hot n sour soup and we shared the cheese wontons. Everything was great. The shrimp fried rice didn't leave me hanging, had plenty of veggies and plenty of shrimp, and the shrimp were cooked well! The cheese wontons were great. Very well cooked and crispy, you could tell they were fresh. I'll definitely order from them again!
google avatar

Jen D.

Yelp
I've been going here for years. I never reviewed it cuz I didn't feel excited or disgusted. I was just kinda neutral. I noticed when Ive been going in the last few times. There's different waiters than usual. I always used to get a grouchy young girl. Now I get happy servers. I realized that's what made the difference. It went from a mediocre 2 and a half stars straight up to 5. I always get the same food which is always great. Sesame chicken is my favorite. Hopefully it'll stay this wonderful pleasant experience in the future. For right now, I'm lovin it!!

Yelp
After this disaster i was afraid to order any Asian food from CoSprings. Tonite, after some desperation, i ended up ordering from Xiang's Kitchen. Completely different experience. everything was very good. only complaint is that the sauce for the Egg Foo s/b on the side -- not doused over the pattys.
