No one here on weekend dinner time. A bunch of delivery/takeout orders though. Plenty of seating inside. Hard to find parking around here unless you want to park in the Safeway parking lot near by. No outdoor seating. I ordered their pho which was pretty standard not super amazing but yeah. The imperial rolls were actually really good though!! Food didn't take a long time to come out yay. They had some NBA games on their TVs inside.

Love, love, love this place. If you miss Evergreen, try Jasmine Garden! They are related restaurants. Don’t sleep on the beef carpaccio or the lemongrass chicken. Service is super friendly here.

First of all if you all on keto or low carb diet you can kiss them good bye because the foods are really good. You need to try their house specialty which is bbq pork rolls it's Vietnamese with a touch of Thai. They also famous for their pho aka beef soup however their other dishes such as the catfish clay pot is equally good and you can taste the catfish marinated well. The lemongrass chicken also very tasty but can you a bit more marinate time. Overall good experience. BTW the place is not too noisy you can have decent conversation with friend.

I crave this place! I was stuck between a couple items and asked the woman taking our order which one I should get. She said one of them is her favorite and opted for that one. OMG fabulous!!! I have never had anything like it and now I crave it! I was able to have 3 servings off one order and it was delicious every time. I will go out of my way for this tantalizing taste bud experience! Plus the service was outstanding. She was so genuine and pure of heart, with absolute work ethic and pride in what she does. Refreshing.

my family is visiting san fran and had a great experience here. owner is caring and kind, went above and beyond to accommodate a peanut allergy and a large group, made a personal connection with us. the world needs more people like this! delicious food as well, spring rolls, garlic noodles, chicken, were highlights!

I’ve been getting togo from here since about 2017. Their pho ga with extra chicken is my absolute favorite in SF. My boyfriend and I order from here at least once a week. Two pho ga extra chicken and the crunch roll which is soooooo good! We’ve tried a few other things, like the spring roll, green beans, hue noodle soup and garlic noodles, which were all great as well. When my boyfriend is out of town I will order from here 3-4 times in a week. When I’m sick, it’s literally the only thing I can eat. (Thank you for nursing me back to health so many times over the years!) I just wish they were open on Tuesdays too, but I completely understand, I believe they are family owned and should definitely have a day off.

I was looking for a decent Asian restaurant around Church St to have a bite before heading back to Glen Park and discovered this Vietnamese restaurant. The place is clean and the foods was good! Loved the Pho special and the Vegetarian Pho as well. Serving portions were generous compared to other Asian restaurants which I had been to in SF. I would definitely recommend this to all!!!

I have been getting my pho here since 2017. This wonderful restaurant has unknowingly nursed me back to health a few times. I used to not eat out much, but the last 2 years especially since my boyfriend and I spend a lot of time in the gym we order from Jasmin Garden at least once a week or more. We usually get 2 pho ga with extra chicken and the crunch roll. These items are where happiness and pure joy live. Pho ga: all the ingredients are fresh, it arrives hot, they separate things so the noodles don't over cook. The broth though! Oh my goodness it is so good! They make real pho bone broth with the star anise and the ginger and it tastes like someone has spent all day pouring their heart and soul into making it. Crunch roll: the most delightful texture, of course fresh ingredients as well. It's like a spring roll but bbq'd pork instead of shrimp. It is one of the best things I've ever ate. (Side note: not on the menu at the moment but please tell me that is temporary? They are sooooooo good!) Other items we have tried that are all fantastic and I recommend: the green beans, five spice chicken, hue noodle soup, garlic noodles and of course the imperial rolls. Everything has had fresh ingredients and you can tell it's freshly cooked and taste amazing!

This has always been a reliable neighborhood spot for me since I moved to SF 6 years ago. Not overpriced, great portions, and most of all, the service is amazing! Tonight I went to get the Banh Xeo since I've been craving and as per usual, they didn't disappoint! I wish there was less bean sprouts because it overall made the crepe a bit soggy but the staff told me I can ask for less next time! Can't wait to come back and keep supporting these small businesses!

Friendly service, food was delicious! The beef pho made for a very comforting meal on a chillier day. Broth was light and flavorful, noodles were cooked perfectly.

I am so glad this place is still open it's one of those places that makes SF feel like home for me. I always get the bun bo hue spicy with pho noodles and the shrimp spring rolls and if I'm really hungry papaya salad. Fire. Every time. If you're looking for that hot noodle on a cold night this is your place and it's always better supporting local

Best Chicken Noodle Soup in town, but the amounts of time this restaurant is closed on random days is unfortunate. We would double our soup intake, if they would be able to be open on consistent days. BUT if you happen to catch them on an open day, try the soup!!

Adorable small business in the area. Prices are a little steep but the pho tasted great! Clear but flavorful broth, and the employees were very hard working and nice. The restaurant interior is pretty big and clean!

I came here around 8pm on a Thursday night as a group of 3 and was seated right away. Service was great in general, it was fast and the servers came to give us water quite often. I tried their spring rolls and the BBQ pork and imperial rolls vermicelli bowl. The spring rolls came in a cute little basket and was presented so nicely. The vermicelli bowl was delicious and really large! The pork was seasoned well and the imperial rolls were super crunchy! The imperial rolls were lacking flavor just a little bit but with the fish sauce it's perfect. The portion sizes for all their dishes are pretty large so it is great value.

Checked out Jasmine Garden with a party of 6 for prime Monday dinner time! We didn't have to wait at all and were seated super promptly. We got the Jasmine Garden Noodle Soup, the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, as well as the Hue Noodle Soup. We also got the garlic noodles and imperial rolls. The basic pho was super solid and hearty, the broth was flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly! Highly recommend if you're feeling a pho urge. The BBQ Pork Noodle Soup was also super solid, with a more chicken based broth, with the added bonus of coming with a huge amount of BBQ Pork. Would highly recommend for the value alone! The Garlic Noodles and Imperial Rolls were also really yummy, with the garlic noodles coming out a bit on top. Overall, Jasmine Garden's a super solid viet spot with great pho, service, and atmosphere.

Canh chua was Bomb! Made like how my dad would make it. my boyfriend liked the garlic noodles. i don't really care for them or think of them as Vietnamese. The papaya salad was good as well too. Also the vermicelli noodle dish was huge and good. But i came for the soup! Service was good too. The 2 lady's are so nice food here reminds me of my parents cooking

3.5 went at ~7 pm on thursday and it was not busy. Service was fast. - 4.5/5: one of the best summer rolls I had; the crunch rolls were delicious and they were served in a cute/cool contraption - 3/5: average; had 12. pho ga, with grilled chicken on side and beef broth. The chicken was good and the pho was solid. Noodles seemed overcooked though, but the broth was steaming when served. Supposedly the chicken broth is better though, so I will come back to try.

Delicious food, serene ambiance and lovely service. We dined at Jasmine Garden early on Saturday night, about 6:30. By 7:15, it was nicely populated by groups of friends, two moms and their four well-behaved kids, couples and a man dining alone. It was a chilly night so we both had delicious, hot bowls of pho. I had spicy Bo Bun Hue ($15.50) and my son, Pho Dac Biet ($14.50) with a deeply flavorful beef broth, noodles and lots of beef and brisket. We loved the Imperial rolls but the hands down favorite dish we ordered was the beef carpaccio appetizer ($13). Thin slices of beef generously plated with sweet onion, peanuts and herbs. We texted a neighbor to see if he wanted take-away and the two dinners he ordered for himself and his girlfriend said were outstanding (he ordered BBQ pork and seafood clay pot). It took us way too long to try this spot. We'll definitely come back again and again!

I'm Vietnamese and this is my favorite place to order Vietnamese takeout in SF. My go-to order is the BBQ Pork & Imperial Rolls Vermicelli. The pork is flavorful, the rolls are perfectly fried, and I love the crushed peanuts on top. Food is always prepared quickly and arrives fresh. They are just consistently good.

I love this hole in the wall. The exterior and interior are plain, but the food and service were great! They're also very decently priced. I've been here twice now, and both times I've had the pho dac biet. It is a great noodle soup. The broth is so flavorful, the beef is sliced just right, and the beansprouts were fresh. I've had the spring rolls once, and they were a treat! They didn't skimp on the shrimp/sauce at all!

great value and large portions, with an extensive menu!! Pleasantly surprised by the number of vegetarian options as well (many of the dishes said they could be made vegetarian) - so will definitely be back to explore other choices :)

Visiting SF for the day and found this place near the venue we were visiting. Well prepared, tasty food; friendly, helpful, fast and efficient service; clean and nice ambience. Noticed that there were also several takeout orders, suggesting local clientele as well. Great find!

The friendliest ladies ever. The food here is insanely good. I used to go out to the Richmond or Sunset to find good Vietnamese food and I'm so glad I found this hole in the wall. Not a lot of viet restaurants serve bun Bo hue or bun rieu. Jasmine garden's is spectacular. Also great for solo eating.

Best pho I've had in SF. And the green beans are super yummy. A great find and super reasonable pricing for the portions! The take out is packed great so nothing gets soggy too.

I think I eat here way too many times that the owner remembers my usual order. Beside being near to the yoga studio I frequent, they have probably one of the best hot and sour fish soup in SF. The portion is great and the owner recommended me that I tried it with noodle instead of rice and it's such a great recommendation. The ladies there are really nice and I hope their business's doing well as their food is great in general

Why have I not been here before? The spring rolls are sandwich thick, and the peanut sauce tastes homemade rather than that syrupy goop you get elsewhere. The five spice chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the noodles were silky smooth, and the vegetables literally could not have been more fresh for both the chicken and the spring rolls. Plus you practically get twice the amount of food you'd get for probably more money elsewhere. And the nice lady and the younger girl who were working the place were so friendly and attentive even tho it was hella busy. This place is worth going out of your way for to make up for the times I haven't been here before.

The top restaurant find so far this year, Jasmine Garden has excellent food served in a low-key neighborhood atmosphere. One of our Vietnamese friends suggested that we try his favorite spot, and we happily let him pick his favorites from the menu. Wow! Good choice. The concensus favorite was the chicken clay pot dish, and the Vietnamese Crepe Banh Xeo was also spectacular. But, picking just those two dishes slights the excellent spring rolls and other dishes that we shared family style. Yes, the food is cooked perfectly. However the standout taste memory is the spices. They were present and active, but never the sole focus of a dish. All of this comes with a friendly, humorous staff and a low-key neighborhood dining space. I give this a strong recommendation and also suggest eating there and not ordering door dash or even take-away. Enjoy eating in a place that feels low-key but slightly different!

Wanted to give an updated review since its #thankyouthursday! I've probably eaten here like 5 times ever since discovering it a month ago. Got to try more items on the menu of course and as a place that "does it all", its done pretty well. Beef pho, chicken pho, bun rieu, bun bo hue, imperial rolls....so good! And the folks who work here are so kind. It really does feel like a slice of home.

I haven't been here for many years, and today, it was a long homecoming. The staff are very friendly, and the raw beef salad, Bahn xeo, BBQ pork, was delicious. This is a hidden gem in the Castro.

Just a Gem of a small restaurant! Went there a week ago with two friends and we had a great meal. Tasty food carefully prepared, great service, reasonable prices. We had fresh rolls with Shrimp, crunch roll with beef, papaya salad. Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo) and catfish in caramel sauce. Delicious. Great for an easy meal.

Been coming to jasmine garden regularly since 2012. It's my go-to comfort spot in the city or on a rainy day. It's family operated and is a no-frills operation but has absolutely fantastic broths, clay pots and salads. You'll be just has happy with a bowl of beef or chicken pho as you would be with a clay pot or pork salad. 12 years later and it's still the only contact on my phone under the favorites tab :)

This was such a good find, the food was so flavorful and dishes came out w beautiful plating, was surprised at the very reasonable prices for the quality! (2 apps and 2 entrees for $67). Waitress was also really attentive and gave great service.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and am pleasantly surprised! I didn't expect pho in this area to be that good really but it exceeded my expectations, the pho was flavorful and fragrant and really hit on a rainy day. The service was great, and I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu like garlic noodles, bun Bo hue and the vermicelli bowls.

It's been too long since I've eaten here but after all the mediocre pho in my neighborhood, I needed something I knew was good to fulfill my pho craving. I got the beef pho, side of imperial rolls, and the bbq pork vermicelli plate for my bf for pickup. They were really nice at pickup and my bf said they even wipe your credit card with an alcohol wipe! The beef pho was very well packaged for takeout, with the raw beef, brisket, and onions in one bag and the usual basil, bean sprouts etc. in another. The noodles were separated from the hot broth. Finally a pho broth with flavor, vs. the bland one-note stuff in my hood. I only wish they had more choices for beef pho but it's still a satisfying bowl and pretty large portion. The imperial rolls were still very crispy and well-filled, full of taro which I love. My boyfriend DEVOURED the bbq pork vermicelli, he said it's the best he's had so far in the city. I only got one bite of it but the char taste on the pork was good. He literally couldn't stop talking about it, saying "why haven't you taken me here before?" and "can we go back tomorrow?" Lol. Needless to say, we'll be back!

We walked in on a Thursday evening to place a take out order. The two women I saw there were super sweet; they don't offer indoor dining right now but takeout was fairly quick (15 minute wait) and the prices were on par with Vietnamese in SF. I ordered the Jasmine Garden pho (basically the meat works) and my boyfriend got the pork and imperial roll noodles. I love how light yet filling Vietnamese is, the pho came with good portions of meat and bean sprouts and noodles. Alas, I should have asked for red chili while I was there, but the broth still had that comforting taste to it. I ate the whole thing although probably could have made two portions out of it - just hard to refrigerate pho. The pork noodle bowl was good too, I sampled it! Again, light yet filling. Maybe slightly less meat than the pho, in case you are in it for the protein. Again, service was quick and friendly - please support this local Vietnamese joint while you're in the area! Might look unassuming from the outside, but the inside is quite nice and the food slaps.

My husband and I moved into our forever home almost 2 years ago and was so happy to find this lovely gem in our neighborhood! Our favorite go-to dishes are the rare beef pho, pho ga, spring rolls and imperial rolls. My husband who is Vietnamese appreciate the authenticity and we try to order here often The owner/workers here are hardworking and very friendly. My husband is Vietnamese and from San Jose and loves it here. You can choose who you want to believe about how good it is here :)

I am very picky with my chicken pho and have ordered it from dozens of restaurants across the US. Jasmine Garden has the best one.

Jasmine Garden is our go-to neighborhood Vietnamese place. Not only are they super friendly (they always thank everyone for supporting their business), but the food is delicious and always comes out steaming hot. I especially like their clay pot rice (maybe it's Chinese fusion?). They also have a TV and were playing the warriors playoffs!

Had the Pho Dac Biet and it was delicious. I ordered it as takeout and with extra noodles. Everything came separated and there was SO much noodles, no regrets though, would order again. Also had the imperial rolls and they were delicious too. Service was great, the staff was super friendly. The restaurant itself seemed nice, cozy and clean and I would totally try dining in next time.

I've found the SF veggie pho of my dreams!! Ordered takeout from here and was impressed. You can tell that they took the time to make sure their vegetarian pho was yummy, as the broth was flavorful and the veggies were plentiful. So happy to have found this!

Probably one of the best Vietnamese spots I've been to in SF. Their spicy beef noodle soup and crunch rolls are PHENOMENAL! Service is quick and friendly, will definitely be a regular.

This place is my new favorite Vietnamese place in SF. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice. Their five spice chicken is the best I've had in the city and their pho broths are phenomenal too. The atmosphere is unpretentious, and lowkey, which is everything I want for an authentic neighborhood Viet restaurant.

Amazing Bo tai chanh (beef carpaccio) but horrible bun bo hue (Hue spicy beef noodles). Either stop serving this dish or get it right. Bun bo hue: Meat: the meat isn't just rare pho beef. Veggies: the veggies aren't just cabbage. Bun(vermicelli): the bun isn't small noodles used in bun Rieu... the vermicelli is thicker/bigger. Please go to a Viet restaurant, order some bun bo hue and learn how to properly make it. Get the right ingredients or stop pretending you have it. What an insult to a traditional Viet dish. OR call it something else, what you serve isn't bun bo hue.

It's official: Jasmine Garden is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in SF! Awesome menu. Authentic foods. Artistic plating. On all of the occasions that I've been here, their fresh coconut that is always on point and it comes with the perfect sized metal scooper to dig into the flesh. They are so thoughtful here! Flavorful dishes such as the sauteed string beans salmon salad and roll app are a must order. I really love the hot and sour catfish soup here. That umami flavor really stands out and because the server knew that I could speak Vietnamese, he offered to bring me the authentic chilli peppers + fish sauce as a dipping sauce for my fish. The quail app that we ordered arrives still flaming to the table and it tastes soooo succulent! Take your date here or dine here as a pre-game to your Castro outings. Fill up with some good foods before you dance it all off at Beaux.

My friend and I went to Jasmine Garden for dinner before a small concert at Swedish American Hall. I found a clay pot special dish and ordered it. Surprisingly, it was pretty close to the Chinese version and tasted very good. I missed the taste of rice crust a lot! The pho was pretty good too. Definitely a recommend.

I'm not Vietnamese so I can't speak to its authenticity but the service sure does seem real. The prices and portions are great and the food tastes really good. They were crowded. Food was quick to arrive but follow up service was very slow - I tried to get the bill faster because I could see a line building up at the front door and it was a really cold night but this took around 20 minutes to settle up. Ordered a Sweet and Spicy Fish Soup and it was so so good! Very different from anything I've had before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had enough left over for a second dinner.

Generally speaking - a big fan of the place. Only downside is that I've noticed the food isn't super consistent across visits. Meaning, sometimes when I order garlic noodles - it is perfect, but other times, it is clear they didn't drain it all the way/lacks char. Also chicken dishes are not very good here IMO. More expensive than your usual Vietnamese fare, but expected given the location and neighborhood. I come here for the garlic noodles and crunch roll explicitly. Tried the pho and the clay pot once upon a time. Don't remember the pho that well and remember disliking the clay pot :| Crunch rolls are phenomenal and safe for those with shellfish allergies as it is all pork! Anyways, will continue coming here again and again to satisfy my garlic noodle cravings. Just be wary

I've really missed this place and haven't ordered anything from here since COVID because I don't usually do delivery for dinner. BUT last week, I finally ordered some pho, imperial rolls, and garlic noodles from Jasmine Garden, and the food was as good as I remembered. The pho ingredients were packaged really neatly. The broth was flavorful and in a well sealed container, the noodles were conveniently cooked already without impacting their texture (otherwise you'd have to reheat your broth to boiling to cook the noodles), the condiments (basil, bean sprouts, lime, jalapenos) were packed together in a small bag, the meat was also packed in their own small bag, and they included a small container of hoisin sauce. They didn't skimp on the portions either, my bowl of pho was HUGE, fortunately I had a good sized soup bowl to hold it all comfortably in. By the end of the meal, I was too full to finish a couple meat slices and the broth. The imperial rolls and garlic noodles were also delicious and just as I remembered. I will definitely be ordering delivery again from here! Miss you, Jasmine Garden!

Hands down best Vietnamese restaurant in town. Decor is great, unusual and a little art deco. Tables well spaced so you're not squashed in. The pho is excellent, really nice broth. Spring rolls packed with prawns, noodles and mint are so delicious. My husband loves the chicken curry. Really clean place with owners who take so much care. So glad they made it through the pandemic.

A cozy little restaurant near the Church Station. Seemed to be filled with regulars. Makes sense since it is a tasty reasonably priced option compared to other places nearby. Pho Dac Biet: Beef pho with all my favorite cuts (rare steak, brisket, flank, meatball) and none of the pieces I don't like (tripe, tendon). Decent portion of meat, not skimpy but not overflowing. Just the right amount of noodles to fill you up without making you feel gross. The broth was just ok though. There are much better broths in Little Saigon, but guess this is alright for the Castro.
