Jasper's Catering

They catered my wedding and they did amazing! Easily the best vendors of the day and everyone told me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. They even added unsweet iced tea last minute for my dad at no extra charge and stayed to help pick up the decor. If I can recommend any vendor, it is them. They made my day so special! If you are thinking of doing Jasper's for your wedding DO IT!

Jaspers Uptown in Dallas is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is top notch. From the valet service to the host to the wait staff, all the way around excellent service. Very nice atmosphere as well. Definitely a “must try”! I’ve been there twice now and will definitely go there again. I’m looking forward to it!

FIrst of all let me say I almost never write reviews , but I went to an black-tie event catered by Kent Rathbun and the only thing I can say is: BEWARE. They had two options: I chose the vegetarian option and it was literally half a plaintain, with 1 1/2 small muchrooms, and cold undercooked rice. The steak option looked ok, but it was cold as well. I talked to the catering Manager, Caleb, and expressed how unhappy I was. His only response was the the organizers approved of the menu. I asked him if they really agreed that half a banana and cold rice was an acceptable menu he said YES!!! Are you kidding me????. The desert was terrible as well. All this can be yours for a measly $150 a plate. In the end, I was not only starving, but angry. Caleb came over later in the evening and said he felt bad and handed me his card from Shin-Sei and said if I came in he would hook me up. No thanks. Next time just serve descent, hot food. I am sure for $150 they can afford to serve a whole banana.

It is now Hickory - very nice BBQ offerings - they have some great bar offerings.
