Java & Jam is a local coffeehouse on Las Olas that also serves all day breakfast. Although I don’t drink coffee, the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha drink featured outside is really what lured me in. The atmosphere was chill with both inside seating and a covered patio area. I ordered the Tri Color Quinoa salad along with the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. When my drink was brought out, I could not wait to take the first sip. However, I found the matcha flavor to be light and the glass was filled with about 1/3 of ice. Also, my drink was not garnished with the chocolate bar as depicted and when I enquired, I was told by Kelly (our server) that they were out of garnish. Also note that there is an upcharge for alternate milks (oat, coconut & soy). My salad was brought out promptly (15 mins) and it looked great and tasted even better. This mediterranean inspired combination of lettuce, cucumbers, chick peas and feta cheese dressed with a cilantro and tahini combination was truly delightful. It was fresh and refreshing at the same time. Overall, Java & Jam is a great niche find on Las Olas, especially if you’re craving breakfast foods after the usual breakfast hours.

Google
This place was pretty great! We found this place to eat at after getting off the cruise ship on Saturday morning. The food was amazing and I loved the downtown Ft Lauderdale setting! They had a walk in coffee bar and a restaurant which was pretty cool. You should definitely try this place if you are feeling breakfast in the Ft Lauderdale area!

Google
Always consistent food and service. Great breakfast and brunch spot on las olas with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is fresh, patio is dog friendly. Parking is paid street or valet parking. This is a local favorite. It does get busy on the weekends so reservation is recommended.

This was my last brunch spot on my itinerary before I head home to Atlanta, and I am so glad I stopped by. The food was delicious and their fall coffee menu was yummmm. Joe was my server and he made the experience so warm and wholesome. I had the salmon bagel plate and it was delicious. Whenever I come back, I’m coming to see you Joe and visit the places you recommend!

Google
Stopped for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Really cool specialty coffee options. Loved the creme brulee French toast and bakery fresh sourdough. Highly recommend and good parking nearby.

First time here and sat down at the bar. Place gets packed so if u want to come u might want to see if they take reservations. Sat at bar for about 10 minutes and waited on a server. No fault of his own cus the place was busy. So I asked Layla if anyone was taking orders and she went and got Greg. Layla is super sweet so if u get her as a server I’m more than sure u will have great service. Greg was good and on point as well. Sat there observing it all and I got to say the cooks get it done! Super fast and accurate. Food was good price good too. Definitely worth a visit!

I had an awesome experience at Java & Jam, and a huge part of that was thanks to Anna, who is easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. From the moment she greeted us, she was warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of energy you want at a breakfast spot. She was on point with everything: quick refills, great recommendations, and perfect timing without ever hovering. She managed to be attentive, friendly, and efficient all at once, even with a busy room. You can tell she takes pride in her job and really cares about giving guests a great experience. The food was solid, but Anna’s service is what made the visit memorable. If you’re stopping by Java & Jam, ask for her — she’s the one who turns a good breakfast into a great one.

Google
Food is great and Anna is the best! Very friendly and accommodating. Nice outdoor seating in Las Olas with fans for added wind. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great breakfast and delicious coffee! Stopped here for a quick and filling last stop before we headed to the airport to end our trip. There was a group of 5 of us and our waiter was quick and attentive for a Sunday morning as business was picking up! I ordered the egg tacos with a side of bacon and a creme brûlée iced coffee. Egg tacos were very delicious and flavorful. Another popular item at our table was the pancake stack. All food was delicious and not a complaint from anyone! Very nice breakfast spot, we sat outside and saw lots of dogs, families and couples enjoying the morning!

Yelp
Great customer service, and the food is delicious! I would definitely come back. . I order SMOKED SALMON*. The seasoning was right.
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
I love the green everywhere. The food was amazing and my server Jackie is outstanding. She touched our table every few minutes to see how everything was doing. I like that is casual and if you want to, you can dress up a bit as well.

Yelp
This place has been on my "to try" list for quite some time. Finally had a moment to get breakfast here this morning. Absolutely loved my eggs Benedict. The iced coffee was great as well. My husband's chicken biscuit sandwich was "good". Biscuit was not his favorite in the area and the chicken was on the dry side. Overall, he said it was a good sandwich but would pick something else next time. We both really liked the hashbrowns. Definitely would come back here again. Service was excellent as well.

Yelp
After a killer workout, my friends and I were starving and looking for a spot to grab lunch and cowork. We decided on Java and Jam because it was close by and had a varied menu that would satisfy anyone's craving regardless of it it was breakfast or lunch. My friend and I couldn't decide what to get so we got the turkey club and chicken bowl and went halfsies. I loooved the club sando and the chicken bowl was good too. We also asked for a side of aioli for the fries which I totally recommend. Service was friendly and the portions are huge. You can find street parking or garage parking nearby. We sat on the outdoor patito but they also offer indoor seating and grab and go cafe options too.

Yelp
Food was good! Basic breakfast is good and tasty. Wa not a fan of the pancake as it was soft and filled with very sweet sauce! Taking one star off for the long waits to get a table. Overall, good place for good breakfast. Good customer service as well.
google avatar

CeCe M.

Yelp
I still really enjoy this place. Great vibes, good service, and yummy food! The coffees are a little small, but I'll let that slide lol
google avatar

Maansi S.

Yelp
This is a great brunch place in Fort Lauderdale! There are plenty of vegetarian options and the types of lattes. I got an iced churro latte and was worried it would be too sweet, but it was perfect. The burrata baguette was amazing and I loved the side salad. It was the perfect amount of food. The waitress was very friendly as well! Would recommend this place for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. I'd recommend sitting outside as well if the weather is good!

Yelp
We showed up 2:50 pm just before closing on Sunday . They sat us and let us order . My first time here because in the last the line was to long so we were lucky to arrive late . The breakfast was definitely worth it. I will return but perhaps at 1:45 so hopefully the wait will it be long . I am big on breakfast on sundays and this hit the mark
google avatar

Summey F.

Yelp
Ummmm obsessed! AMAZING brunch. I had the herb biscuit Benedict and added avocado at the server's suggestion- she was right. It was so good. I also had the creme brûlée latte and LOVEDDDDD it. The hashbrown side was also delish. The fried chicken biscuit was good too, and the pancakes were delicious. Overall great vibe and delicious food.
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
We had breakfast here on the patio. There are tons of fans which create a nice breeze. Our server was friendly. I had an iced chai which was very tasty. Hubby liked his iced latte. We shared an avocado toast and the egg and bacon sandwich with a side of hash browns. The eggs for the sandwich are cooked pretty thin and folded, so we're a tad dry, but the flavor was good. The eggs on the avo toast were sunny side up and perfectly runny. The avo toast had a sweet pepper marmalade. It was delicious, but I'm glad we shared the 2 dishes because I think it would have been too sweet to eat the entire thing.
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
Five star. Great food and so many great options, it was hard to pick. The cocktail options are also all really good. The peri peri sauce was delicious, definitely on the spicy side, but the taste is amazing. I'd definitely come for brunch again! Indoor and outdoor seating options available.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
I only came here for a quick coffee break with a colleague before an event happening in the area. They have many quirky and unique coffee options to choose from. I went with the Butterbeer iced latte because it reminds me of Harry Potter. I asked only one pump of sweetener so it doesn't come out overly sweet. The latte was good! The inside was decorated like a rustic coffee shop and had ample seating outside as well.

Donald P.

Yelp
Great coffee, breakfast- pancakes, sunny side up and honey ham Nice inside and outside seating
google avatar

Larry B.

Yelp
Service was absolutely horrible. The food was not cooked as ordered. I would not ever recommend this establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great, foos was good, ambiance was very good. Been back twice since I went the first time.

Yelp
With a quick Yelp search, found J&J, reviews were impressive but still was not sure, as most of the reviews were for food and there specialty coffees, really wanted a good cappuccino after a week long on cruise, and glad I went to J&J, as they made cappuccino perfect for me. It's usually 12 & 20oz, I asked to cut down on milk for the 12oz one, place was crazy crowded and barista had too many orders, so wasn't sure if would do the way I asked, but they did, had to wait 20ish mins to place order and 15mins to get cappuccino but it was worth it.
google avatar

Raul M.

Yelp
Decided to finally try this breakfast place and I was pleasantly surprised with the food. A little bit too cold inside considering the fact that it was 65° outside this morning and now I have the sniffles while and typing this. Confidence? Service was good, a few hiccups here and there but nothing that will keep me from coming back. By the way, really really good Cuban sandwich for a non Cuban place!
google avatar

Yelp
Let's start with the positives: Beautiful place! Very lovely restaurant to have brunch. The finches and plants are quite nice. Great coffee-- the creme brûlée wasn't too sweet, wasn't too bitter. The chocolate espresso muffin was tasty and not too heavy! Benedict was pretty good and the has browns are nice and crispy. The service was decent-- there was a momentary miscommunication where the waiter walked away while we were still talking to her, but it was decent service overall. Now the less savory details: The steak and fries is alright but it's nothing to write home about. It wasn't great, it wasn't bad. To be honest, it wasn't very flavorful. For 26 dollars, you can definitely get better steak elsewhere. Come EARLY or be prepared to wait forty minutes. This is pretty typical around here so we had no problem. Service can be a little slow to start because it's busy. I recommend the traditional breakfast items here. It's a place for a first date or a cute brunch with the homies. If your first and only priority is extraordinary food, then maybe consider somewhere else.

Yelp
Excellent newish brunch spot on a rapidly built up stretch of Las Olas near Andrews. Service was great and food was good 5 star ambience: for the first floor of a modern building they have given some old world charm with decoration and lighting. It's bustling but not loud 5 star service: staffers here are uniformly friendly and efficient. The front desk directed us to the counter to avoid a long wait and the server was sweet and funny 4 star food: my spinach salad was terrific. The grilled chicken across the top was just in large very dry chunks. Price points are high for the entrees.
google avatar

Porsha H.

Yelp
Adorable brunch place on las olas. They do not take reservations but do offer a waitlist that you can sign up for online. The food was pretty good. The burger was solid, flavorful, what you would expect. The overnight oats were a surprising highlight! Probably one of my favorite items on the list! They have a variety of tasty coffee options and their fresh squeeze juice is a must get! The service is extremely friendly but very slow. If you need to be in and out quick just let your server know up front and they will adjust.
google avatar

Danielle F.

Yelp
The food was good but there are limited options and it's a little pricey for what you get. I think you are paying so much because it is on las olas, but the food wasn't any better than like first watch. Drinks were named cute and tasted but again, overpriced. Service was great and the place is kinda like dress for brunch type vibes. I don't know if I would go back because it just wanted anything spectacular.

Yelp
Great energy, food and variety with a super friendly and helpful staff here at Java & Jam. A huge outdoor eating area; great for people watching off Las Olas Blvd. Right when you walk in there is a coffee/tea and cocktail bar. Speaking of cocktails, there is and interesting cocktail menu with many interesting choices. I ordered the delicious Shrimp and Grits special served with 2 poached eggs. Very generous portion and the shrimp was crispy and served over southern style seasoned grits that has tremendous flavors. My wife had the Salmon Toast served over arugula salad. The bread that was toasted had 2 poached eggs on top. Had to share the Bamana Bread French toast. Huge portion even when we split it, it was thick and had to take half home. Delicious!!! I would have to say this is one of the best breakfast places I've eaten at in Ft. Lauderdale. Our wait was 20 minutes as promised but they have comfortable couches at the entrance you can sit on and wait if you'd like. They will text you when your table is ready. The menu has a huge variety of special dishes you don't see anywhere else and to top it off, there are specials to boot. We can't wait to go back and try new choices.
google avatar

Taryn C.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch or brunch on las Olas! Sat outside where the outdoor fans kept the patio perfectly cool and comfortable. The food was good! The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were good along with the shrimp bowl. They also had a seasonal coffee meaning with a good set of options for all. Our favorites were the Nutella French toast and the cheesy grits!

J W.

Yelp
Excellent little spot downtown for breakfast. We eat there at least once a week and everything is always perfect. Service is spot on and they also offer catering. They even have a great app full of rewards and discounts. Best breakfast in Ft. Lauderdale.
google avatar

Kavonni B.

Yelp
Was looking for a nice breakfast spot and found this lovely gem. Cindy, our server, made us feel right at home with her warm and friendly demeanor. She was attentive without being overbearing, and really added to the overall positive vibe of the place. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was flavorful and fresh. The coffee was a standout too - rich, aromatic, and the perfect start to our morning. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Great service, excellent food, and fantastic coffee make this breakfast spot a place I'd definitely return to! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Been back to Java & Jam many times during my visits to Ft.L. I'll chose this place all day long over the Starbucks across the street. I love their coffee and how the offer sugarfee options and flavors. They even have almond milk as my low carb option. Definitely the place to go to for breakfast/ brunch in the Los Olas area.
google avatar

Kristina P.

Yelp
Java & Jam is the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch in Fort Lauderdale! I especially loved the eggs benedict and the cheddar herb biscuit, both rich and flavorful without being too heavy. Their coffee is smooth and perfectly brewed, making it the ideal start to the day. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere feels cozy yet lively. It's the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood the moment you walk in.
google avatar

Lourdes S.

Yelp
Went with a friend for brunch and wanted to get something new, definitely suggest the Benedict's. The hash browns were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, just perfect! If the weather is nice sit outside it was really nice!
google avatar

Yana I.

Yelp
It is worth waiting in line! The food is simple but absolutely delicious. The Eggs Benedict are incredibly juicy, and the salmon is lightly salted and of high quality. My husband chose the Southwest Benedict with chorizo and arepa, and he loved the combination--it turned out to have a sophisticated flavor. The coffee was great, and the Prosecco was freshly opened and delightfully bubbly! However, I'm taking one star off because the host who greeted us was not friendly at all. We understand the pressure from the waiting line, but first impressions matter, and the greeting could have been much warmer.
google avatar

Jordyn R.

Yelp
Stopped by for some brunch on a Saturday, which they were a bit quite busy. The inside was a nice interior loved the design. We were greeted by two hostess which was cool, one of them took us to our seat and then followed 10-20 mins later our server. We started off with some water then we order some drinks off the seasonal menu, my partner got an ice coffee and I got the winter in Florida refresher. Both drinks were great, I love the winter in Florida one though it was refreshing and you can taste all the ingredients but I would love to know what soda they used for it to! The food came which my server was able to accommodate me since I didn't want fries but in the end I told him to leave it and try it out but when the food came I didn't see the fries but well it was fine, everything was great but the steak wasn't flavorful i thought it would be :(. The salad that came with it was decent as well the Cole slaw I order as a side wasn't favorite either idk it was something about the taste of it just didn't sit right with me The coconut chia pudding wasn't really my fan favorite either the fresh fruit on top made the pudding a bit tolerable. But I love my partner French toast though it was delicious! Overall it was a good brunch spot but I'll probably order something else than the steak and avoid the Cole slaw as well.
google avatar

Nicollas F.

Yelp
My new favorite breakfast spot! If you're close to downtown Fort Lauderdale and need a breakfast spot, look no further! Java and Jam is superb. The food, coffee and the staff are 5 stars. The chicken biscuit sandwich is a huge portion and packed with flavor! The pepper marmalade mixed with the sausage gravy takes it to another level! If you're looking for a healthy option, get the chicken rice bowl. It's super light but filling. The restaurant is mid modern and has an amazing vibe. Will definitely be coming back soon to try out other dishes!
google avatar

Mariah M.

Yelp
Cute location and easy to get to. We usually park at the parking garage across the street and walk over. The wait here can be long but I will say it is worth it. The menu has a nice variety, the coffee drinks are also great. I appreciate the option to spike them and they offer a seasonal drink menu of non alcoholic drinks as well. I am not a coconut loving girl but the banana bread french toast with coconut butter absolutely sings to my soul. Love to get a sweet and a savory while I'm here, you can't go wrong with any of the Benedict's. The corn beef is homemade and it shows, 10/10 would recommend. If in the area definitely add Java & Jam to your list.
google avatar

Kristabel V.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot! I got the eggs Benedict (first time trying, so it could just be a me thing) and the ham was a bit tough to cut. Not sure if the ham was the problem or the knife. That being said, the hash browns were great! I got one of their summer drinks and it was delicious! I think I would go again just try something else.

Yelp
Time and Date: 11:49 am on October 20, 2024 Food: Classic 1- Eggs, Bacon, Grits, and multigrain toast Drinks: Water and Salted Caramel Cappuccino Environment/Ambiance: Amazing indoors and outdoor seating. Pretty big and busy Staff: Friendly and welcoming The food was so good. I really love the grits and eggs. They reminded me of South Carolina Eggs and Grits. I'm a southern woman and love me some breakfast and brunch. The place is beautiful and it was my first time going while visiting Fort Lauderdale. The Salted Caramel Cappuccino was pretty good. Mine was the iced cappuccino. Do recommend if you are a coffee lover. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Yelp
My second time at Java & Jam! This is a cute, nice brunch spot in Fort Lauderdale. I got the classic, which comes with 2 eggs any way, toast, and a choice of 2 sides (I chose hashbrowns and cheddar grits). We got the shakshouka as well which was flavorful and the toast was perfect crisped. Finally, I got an iced butterbeer latte, which came out first as very milky and our server (Maja) noticed this and got me another cup (we think they forgot to add espresso the first time lol). The food was tasty and the coffee was pretty good, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a nice option for brunch in the area.
google avatar

Chelsea S.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Las Olas! There is often a wait during typical brunch weekend hours, but it's worth it! I loved the veggie omelette & their specialty coffee selection is really good- I got the Churro latte which was really tasty! The outdoor seating is great, especially since it's coveredbut there's more space inside if you don't want to wait as long for a table!
google avatar

Lynette B.

Yelp
Love Java & Jam. You can add yourself to the waitlist in advance through Yelp as this place always has a wait. They have good specialty coffee options and a great menu with a nice selection of breakfast and lunch options. I've tried the omelettes, the fried chicken breakfast sandwich is so good. I've also tried the breakfast tacos. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
google avatar

Jess H.

Yelp
So we finally got to check this place out. I love Java and Jam. It's very dog friendly and has a big outside patio where you are embraced by the outdoor las olas area. The atmosphere is super comfortable and welcoming. There are so many food options and from what we got, they are good. There's a reason why this place is rated number 1. We were not disappointed. Also, we had the best server. He was very helpful and nice. He was also very attentive. This is a must try if you are in the area
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
We visited Java & Jam early one Saturday morning with our two dogs. We were seated immediately at an outdoor table, though it seems there's usually a wait, we got lucky! The best surprise was the dog menu--our pups shared the eggs and bacon, which was a generous portion for two smaller dogs. They absolutely loved it! For us, we ordered the herb biscuit egg Benedict and a make-your-own omelette. Both dishes were delicious. We also tried the banana bread, but it was skippable as it wasn't really the best. The friendly service added to the positive experience. Overall, Java & Jam is a great spot, especially if you're dining with dogs!

Anthony G.

Yelp
I was psyched to try this spot after reading all the reviews. I was disappointed to say the least. The place is chic, the service was good, but food left much to be desired. Foods Needs some flair or pride. Eveyeone eating said the same thing, it was just "ok". I had the French toast. They do a good job w the FT, but then serve it will store bought syrup? And for whipped cream I was served redi whip topping. For anyone in a kitchen w pride, u make both. Whipped cream is one of the easiest items to make everyday. Been to dozens of high end brunch places over the years. Never once was served redi whip and store syrup for a great looking piece of FT. It totally killed the meal.
google avatar

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
The food was just okay, coffee was delicious but very small amount for the price. I had the steak and eggs which wasn't awful but didn't blow me away. I was quite excited for the truffle fries but it seemed they were fried for way too long, the texture was off. The chicken sandwich was lackluster, needed a sauce at best.
google avatar

Talon S.

Yelp
Service: 6/10 It took us a long time to get our server at every instance - ordering, refills, check. Atmosphere: 7/10 Although outside, it was not well kept. Our table was sticky and our chairs had crumbs. Food under the tables near us. Food: 8/10 A lot of variety, the banana bread is delicious. The coconut butter is just spreadable coconut flakes. Vegetarian friendly. Drinks were delicious especially the watermelon lemonade and house coffee.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot in Fort Lauderdale area. We went around 10:30am on a Sunday morning. When we first got there they said the wait would be 35 min, my party and I walked around and then came back 35 min later and we still did not receive a text saying our table is ready. When we asked the host she said they will try and clean some tables to get us sat. Which was another 10 min wait. This is a really popular place so we understand the long wait . Other than that the food was great! And came out ASAP! I think my highlight was a seasonal lavender latte they had , I also added a honey stick of CBD which is really nice they had that on the menu . Our server was really nice too I wish I didn't forget his name! Plus : Dog friendly
google avatar

Carla O.

Yelp
Came here by chance on a Sunday and had to wait about 45 minutes. I knew it was going to be good based on the wait time and the line formation outside . I had the mango crush and it tasted so refreshing . It's huge , it could be for two people so keep that in mind. To eat I got the steak and eggs, the steak was tender and juicy and the sauce on top was so delicious. I wish I had tried more stuff but I was so full. The menu looks great, make sure you either make a reservation or come with time to spare, it gets crowded.
google avatar

Yelp
This place quickly because my favorite place for a salad. Crazy to think that I legitimately crave a salad from here. The first time that I came here my friend invited me for lunch and she was raving about the salad so I went ahead and ordered the same one and I was blown away. I love how it has hummus grapes eggs cheese all super healthy and delicious ingredients. I have been back so many times because of it. I love how most of the tables are outside. They also have a coffee bar inside which is nice but I love the outside seating. The service is always friendly fast and consistent. I've tried a whole bunch of different coffees and their breakfasts are great too! I would highly recommend for breakfast!
google avatar

Dan F.

Yelp
Good service and nice atmosphere can't make up for cold food. The grits and worse still the COFFEE were not even like warm. Come on man! In my mind the only way to screw up breakfast is not-hot coffee. Sorry but I'll go elsewhere.
google avatar

Deanna N.

Yelp
There is limited parking available on the street. This restaurant is both inside and outside seating. The restaurant closes at 3PM with a different brunch menu offered on the weekends. They also have a seasonal and specific days with limited food options. The plates have decent sized portions and ranging from $11-$18. Service and ambiance!
google avatar

Yelp
Great drinks, quick service with friendly staff, and a Vibing environment!! we did not get any of the food items, but looking at other peoples choices. It certainly appears to be delicious! They also won the best of Fort Lauderdale in 2024.!
