22 Restaurants Highlighting Jersey City’s Rich Culinary Diversity

"While most of the dozen or so Philippine restaurants on the West Side are of the steam-table cafe sort, Jayhan’s is a thoroughly modern hang that attracts a young crowd. Brunching? The congee-like goto, laced with seafood, makes a great weekend repast, and dishes like kare kare often arrived stylishly deconstructed. And if you’re not into a giant meal, plenty of dumplings, fritters, and other small snacks are available." - Robert Sietsema

17 Fantastic Filipino Restaurants Around NYC

"Located in Jersey City’s West Side neighborhood near a light rail line, Jayhan’s is neither a steam-table joint nor and old-fashioned sit down restaurant, but a modern bistro. Deep-fried items, grilled dishes, and seafood are three specialties, and you should consult the multiple chalkboards for daily specials. In the Filipino style, eating with the hands is encouraged." - Robert Sietsema, Eater Staff

I’m having a hard time writing this review because I have no words. The food was SO good. I ordered the pork sisig and let me tell you something.. I’m Puerto Rican so I’m used to eating good pork shoulder or chicharrón. THAT was crunchy moist goodness in every single bite and then they had a sauce in top that gave it some sweetness… sweet baby jesus. Nothing else to say on that. My boyfriend had the fish and he said it was charred to perfection, texture was amazing, and tasted very fresh and light. He loved it. We also tried the waitresses recommendation of appetizer, Kwek Kwek - delicious! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT sleep on this local comforting spot. THANK YOU JAYHAN!

Google
I wish I lived closer, and I'd probably be here at least 2x a week. Grilled liempo was perfect, and the chopsuey was great. The veggies had a good crunch, not overcooked. I ordered the tray of chopsuey before it was overcooked. I guess it's better to eat at the restaurant. The sizzling bistek was different this time. The meat was like pot roast. It was good but not what I expected. And we got our usual: inihaw na tenga, lumpia shanghai, chicken skins, and grilled chicken. Service was friendly. It's better to pay cash if you can, they charge about 4% extra when paying with credit card.

Google
Closest thing you can get to Mang Inasal in NJ! Price was $10.95 for Bacolod Chicken that comes with java rice and Atchara (pickled papaya). They have a specific time for their Bacolod Chicken as they marinate it, they started serving it at 5pm. Their pork sisig and tofu sisig wasn't that good, its okay. The place is kinda small and the service is a bit slow since they get a lot of takeouts. NO PARKING! Only street parking which is very hard to find.

This is my first time coming here and if it wasn't so far away from my house it wouldn't be my last. They were very nice and welcoming when we walked in. Clearly, we were out of our element but the young lady had issues with answering all the questions we had. They have a sit-down area and the serving sizes are good for the prices in my opinion. I have no clue what we ordered except the fried pork chop and garlic rice. 🙃 The rice is very plain and the pork was not really seasoned but it was not nasty. You can tell the oil was clean because the pork was still light and had no burnt taste and you couldn't taste other food which is always a plus.

Google
Love the food! They have a variety of choices. We missed mang inasal and we discovered this place. It's worth the drive from the Bronx.

Google
Ordered takeout. The Bacolod Inihaw chicken was great. Simple and juicy. Paired with the Java rice and it’s even better. The pork belly inihaw was good as well but a little chewy. The only disappointment I had was the taho for dessert. It was really bad. The taste was bland and the brown sugar syrup was watered down and burnt. The tofu tasted like store-bought silken tofu from the grocery. I would give this place 7 out of 10.

We always order takeout, we dine in also sometimes. Their grilled dishes are delicious, especially the BBQ and Isaw baboy. The cashier and servers are all very nice.

Google
First time here. Didn't know what to order, so i looked at pics people posted and got what looked good. Food took almost 45 minutes to come out, but it was pretty good. Service is pretty non-existent unless they taking your order or dropping off your food. I would love to try more of the food here though. Just have to have lots of free time.

Yelp
Alleluia!! FINALLY a Filipino spot that is ACTUALLY PROUD TO BE FILIPINO!! The signage outside say "Filipino"...online it says "Filipino"..they have Filipino decorations, flag and fotos....unlike 99% of all NY NJ Filipino spots that are ASHAMED to be Filipino with ethnically ambiguous names, no mention anywhere of being Filipino, no Flag ..with Chinese or Italian Decorations. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC!! EVERYTHING IS SOOOOOO GOOD! & Best Sisig ever!! The inside of the place is so cute and cozy. I went all the way from NYC and was very happy with Jayhan!!!

Yelp
When a sisig craving calls-- Jayhan's Grill is the place to go!!! After spent the day with some friends, we wanted Jayhan's for dinner. I already knew what I wanted! I had ordered the pork sisig and some garlic rice. And knowing that the portions were fairly large we were able to share it amongst our group of 4. My fiancé had ordered some of the street foods- fish balls, tokneneng, and kwek-kwek. All of that was delicious plus with all the dipping sauces-- amazing!! The sisig came out and of course it was sizzling with the egg on top. Omg it is the best and when paired with the garlic rice-- the best meal. I ended the meal with melon which is a cantaloupe drink with shredded cantaloupe and a sago at gulaman. It was a great meal!

Grace L.

Yelp
I was so pleasantly surprised - so happy I found this place! The food was so good - I had the best sisig ever! I would not hesitate to return if I'm in the area. Only thing to note is the parking is a little tough!

Yelp
Very good grilled meat! Very good pancit palabok. The juices are from a can. Wish I would have gotten a smoothie: they looked so good.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite of lunch. Surprisingly the food was very good. Would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Yelp
For someone who really loves and enjoys all types of food, I must say I am pretty ignorant to Filipino cuisine. This place seemed the most authentic and had a good variety of meat and vegetarian options, as well as desserts and fun nonalcoholic drinks. The people that were sitting and eating were also clearly Filipino as they were ordering with the servers in Tagalog. The one real straight against this place is that there is no AC which makes eating hot meals feel a little less enticing. But hey, prob still more authenticity lol. My friends and I got all different things, and all of us really enjoyed what we had. I played it safe and got a few of the more popular dishes to start but I am looking forward to trying the more adventurous foods that they have on the menu. Everything we had was very well seasoned and textually interesting. -The veggie lumpia was very crispy kinda like an egg roll. We were told to eat it w vinegar so we did. Hah -The pork sisig was soft and crispy, garlic rice on the side was great. -Halo-Halo dessert drink thing was great. Not overly sweet. Ube and condensed milk and ice with jelly chunks. Really fun. No tap water only bottles. Pay up at the counter but they'll take your order at the table. Food was reasonably riced for the big portions so there was plenty to take home. Looking forward to trying more new food!

Yelp
Lil ole me had her eye on this place for awhile, and i finally rounded up some brave souls to head into my hood to give it a shot. first impression, this place is CUTE. decorated well, colorful, had a dessert/smoothie bar type of spot off to the side. Where they lost a star was for how hot and unpleasant it was in here, the menu being in filippino, but very little english. I could only understand a few items since some dishes had english explanations on it, but others didnt, and i have only had filipino cuisine a hand full of times and am not well versed in it at all. the staff can clearly see myself and my 2 friends struggles and werent that helpful, unless we specifically asked something. although jersey city has a huge filipinio communuty, maybe they can have an english menu or have an english translation next to ALL dishes? just a suggestion! =) ps we knew we were in the correct spot, because the 3 of us were the only white ones in here. always, always, always a key to a good meal. chicken adidas: bbq chicken feet. 2 big skewers of the feet, drowened in their bbq sauce. cooked well. loved the flavor. first time having chicken feet. i personally wouldnt get this again, but i enjoyed this and loved trying it. palabok: loved this. noodles seemed to be (like) angel hair, with about 6 shrimp and an abundance of shrimp sauce. it was creamy, tasty, and a huge portion. i finished this quickly, and this is something i would get again. it felt familiar, but new at the same time. sampled my friends garlic rice, and was pleased with this. instant regret from me. i also sampled this friends halo halo, and loved this. ive had something similar in the past, and always enjoy this drink/dessert. its a mixed bag of a semi sweet smoothie, with some jello thrown in there. side bar: its incredibly photogenic, im jealous! looking forward to coming back, and will gladly get the bacolod style chicken inasal - my other friend got this, and i was incredibly impressed with the portion and how perfect the chicken looked!

Yelp
The best batchoy. If you miss iloilo's batchoy. This is the best place for all filipino foods youve been craving. Kansi top tier!!!! Service is fast.

Yelp
Fantastic Filipino cuisine. I like the bbq pork skewers with rice. The lumpia's are perfectly fried. The chicken wings were crispy and juicy. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've never ate at the restaurant but I order from Jayhan's Grill all the time. It is literally one of my favorite places to order from. I've never even had Filipino food before but I have to say now I look for it everywhere and this is still the best I've ever had. This week for some reason they were closed till Thursday and my boyfriend and I were so sad. Waited everyday to re open because we were craving it so bad!! I hope this place never closes down because I can't imagine my life without some Pork BBQ and Halo Halo.
google avatar

Yelp
I had takeout and it was good so I'd imagine eating in would be excellent. Authentic and full of flavors. Pork was crispy and good ratio of fat to meat.

Yelp
1st time going here, probably the last time too. Let's start with the food, food was ok it was a little on the salty side. That's fine i could let that slide. What wasn't cool was that when our food start coming out almost all of the crews ( servers , cooks and all) started setting up their table so they can eat their lunch. Now I don't have a problem with them taking their lunch. You gotta take your lunch, you gotta take your lunch but don't let almost all the crew go on break at the same time that's just poor business decision and etiquette. Now this is where it gets interesting, We needed some napkins, extra staws and some other stuff. At that point we couldn't ask nobody because the rest of the crew was eating and i felt bad disturbing them. There was one left working but she was busy dealing with food pick ups. And all that time, nobody checked up on us if we're ok or if we need anything else. Poorly mismanaged.

Suganthi D.

Yelp
I went there for fishball and lomi.. fishball is not authentic. I paid for the manong sauce which is not amazing. So disappointed with fishball and lomi
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, affordable, and great packaging too! I'd recommend the bbq pork instead of the chicken if you have to choose just one.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
We got the stuffed squid, crispy kare kare, and pork sisig. I probably wouldn't get the stuffed squid again--it was a bit tough to tear apart to eat and I found it a bit bland. The crispy kare kare and the pork sisig were great--the pork belly on the kare kare had a perfect crispy skin and the stew was so rich and flavorful. The pork sisig was similarly flavorful and loved the bits that crisped up on the hot stone plate. I did find the pricing to be a bit expensive, but the portions were fairly large and we had enough leftovers for another meal the next day. The only other negative was that they didn't have any tap water--we had to pay for bottled water. We didn't have any issues finding parking, but maybe we just got lucky.

Yelp
This is my first time having Filipino food but wow I was impressed. Ordered delivery. Food was packaged very well including the soup. Portion was huge. I got 2 main dishes. First was the most popular Bangus Sisig - honestly I wasn't a fan of the sauce. But it did come huge and the fish was fried just about right. The second main dish I got was Sinigang na Lechon, which was like a sour tomato clear soup with chunks of pork tenderloins, turnips, okras, some greens etc. Anyway it was SUPER YUMMY! And it was huge as well - there were so many pieces of pork chunks! The soup was perfect. 中文说的话就特别像国内的酸萝卜汤,我一顿没吃完第二顿烫了一些米线进去好吃哭了。 I also ordered a Java rice side - it was a lot for a "small side" but was a bit greasy. Next time I might just do a normal white rice side, as the main entrees do not come with rice.

Yelp
Delicious Filipino dishes and street food! I ordered UberEats delivery from here on a whim and was impressed with how flavorful everything was. - Inihaw na Pusit (stuffed squid): whole squid perfectly grilled on the outside but also filled with soft and almost creamy-like squid meat, tomatoes, and onions on the inside. This was the favorite dish of the meal! - Fried Daing na Bangus (fried milkfish): crispy fried fish, tasted great with the bit of that red vinegary sauce and a side of rice. Even though it was delivered, the dish still had a nice crisp to it without turning soggy. - Grilled pig ears skewers - two street food-style pig ear skewers. These were nice and appetizing, but I found them slightly difficult to chew on. Although tasty, I probably wouldn't order these again. Had a great meal overall and definitely would order from here again. It'll be difficult decisions when that happens - the squid and fish were so good I'd want to order them again, but everything else on the menu also looks amazing to try!

Yelp
Good Filipino restaurant in Jersey City. Tried a few dishes and found the Crispy Kare-Kare to be my favorite. The sauce tasted just right and the crispy pork pieces complemented the sauce very well. The bangus steak was very good as well. Fish tasted fresh and it was deboned very well, didn't have to fuss with spitting out bones. Inihaw Na Mamok was my least favorite. The chicken was charred on the outside and it seemed the chicken near the bone was slightly undercooked. Also the yellow rice was very bland. I suggest to order the garlic rice if you looking for a more wholesome flavored rice. Will definitely try the pork sisig next time too. Parking is tough in this area. Might need to drive around a bit to find it. FYI.

Yelp
I should just direct deposit my paychecks to Jayhan's because everything is phenomenal. Personal favorite is the sisig and the chicken inasal. Kwek-kwek is a great snack choice too! I've had the avocado shake a few times and that's great too and I'm looking forward to trying the mango shake. They also have silvanas by Sylvañas&Co and those are a great way to end a meal!

Yelp
Solid Filipino food place in a local not (yet) gentrified part of Jersey City. Kare Kare (peanut sauce stew) (4/5) - The kare-kare peanut sauce was heavy, the Lechon kawaili bits were crispy and the tendon was tender. I wouldn't mind sharing this with one person and then just getting a bbq stick. Pork sisig (4/5) - Classic sisig, not the best I've had, but definitely hits the spot. It was a little crispy (a lot of places don't even manage this), and the sauce was full of flavor. Definitely add the vinegar to this dish, and eat it with some nice garlic rice. Filipino pork bbq (3.75/5) The sauce is a good flavor, and the doneness/char is good. But some of the meat on the stick is way more tender than others. It would be nice if it were more consistent. Thankfully there's always at least 1 fatty piece on each stick (in a good way). This would be my 3rd time eating these bbq sticks, and each experience was a little different. Garlic rice- (5/5) Their garlic/java rice is good. A bit oily, but thats what you want. Add an egg to what you order and some white vinegar and this is the rice dish that goes with any Filipino dish. Glad that they have little jugs of white vinegar with onion (and pepper?), because this goes with most dishes you would eat here.

Bryan P.

Yelp
Had lunch at Jayhan's! The food never fails to leave me full and satisfied. It's always a good time when I want to feel at home for some quick Filipino food. My go-to's have to be the pork sisig and the lumpia shanghai. The portions are a great size for family style and the service was quick! Definitely want to come back to try their Bulalo and street foods!
google avatar

Claudine R.

Yelp
Updating my review from the previous, food is always good. Half tray of inihaw na liempo and half tray of ginataang langka. Portion of the liempo is really small probably 2.5 lbs worth of meat however good portion for the langka. I know it's inflation, so just close your eyes and don't mind the prices when you're craving for great Filipino food, the price you have to pay when you don't want to cook $65 for pork and $35 for the ginataan. To sum up my review, 5 stars for flavor 2 stars for price and portion.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Ordered via Doordash for delivery since we still had some credit left over and food arrived in roughly an hour. We ordered the Lumpia, Pork Sisig, and the Lechon with a side of garlic rice. The food was really good - the sisig was not greasy at all and the lumpia was a healthy portion size. Lechon reheated wonderfully in the air fryer for lunch. The prices are pretty steep for the amount of food you get - the small container of sisig was about $16.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Yum! Was craving Filipino BBQ and came across this little place. Decided to give it a try. Very punctual service. Lumpia Shanghai is yum! Good portion size for what you pay for (comes with sweet chili sauce). Sweet and sour tilapia was crunchy and drenched in sauce which we loved! The bones were easy to navigate and the sauce was perfect. The grilled chicken was very typical and the garlic rice was simply white rice with garlic crisps.
google avatar

Juan S.

Yelp
Currently top Filipino spot in Jersey City. We've ordered here twice and both times food is excellently made. Very authentic and they get very close to what is served in the Philippines. The sisig is well made. Close to and some will say better than Mama's Fina's. Not too oily and well cooked. The chicken inasal is great! It is my recommendation if you are going to try them for the first time. Most of their food preparation are well made and top notch. Suggestion is to call ahead for your order. They are friendly and accommodating. Ask for recommendation on what looks the best dish that day. Jayhan's gets a high recommendation from me.
google avatar

Jeo V.

Yelp
Food was potentially good, however, the place was close while it was marked open on Yelp and Google. The ambiance is ghetto, hole in a wall experience.
google avatar

Sophia D.

Yelp
This is the second time we've picked up food from here, and so far everything is tasting so close to home. Call ahead if you want to order because they take time. Their Sisig, Daing na Bangus, and Isaw is a top pick for me. Crunchy, juicy and so tasty! Chicken Inasal is a little bland, will work well with Soysauce & Chili. I will give the Batchoy & Kwek kwek another try - it's best eaten when newly cooked. The next item to try is their Barbecue. Staff are friendly and accommodating +1
google avatar

Yelp
Food: 6/10 Staff: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Ambiance: 3/10 Pricing: $$ Would I recommend? Maybe. Would I come back? Probably, not.

Yelp
First time here with my family and we were all disappointed. Our expectations were high based on the reviews. Walked in this place and it took almost 10 minutes to be seated and given the menus. We ordered kare kare with crispy pork belly, fish balls, bangus sisig, and talong. The Kare-kare was nothing special, I'd say the pork belly saved the dish. Fish balls would've been perfect had they been fried an extra minute or two. The sauce was super delicious though! The bangus sisig looked promising, but it was completely dry. The flavor was there, but definitely overcooked. Last, but not least. The tortang talong(which is not pictured) was actually solid, but they put ketchup on top and kinda ruined it..... C'mon, y'all should put it on the side and give people the option. Not all people like ketchup on their eggs. Also, I don't understand why I have to pay for rice when ordering an entree? It should come with it. Smh In conclusion, service was whack, food was decent. Mehhhhh

Yelp
I'm so happy to have a good Filipino restaurant in JC! The turo-turo restaurants are okay if you're in a fix or want food quickly, but the quality is always lacking compared to a true sit-down place. I'm very picky about Filipino restaurants, and this is one of the few I really enjoyed. This restaurant would be comparable to Max's in price and quality (though this is a mom and pop shop). Be aware that they cook your meal to order, so it can be a bit of a wait to receive your food! Order ahead if you're in a rush! We ordered here twice -- once for take-out and once for sit-in. The food takes around 25-40 mins depending on what your order. Some highlights are the pork sisig, pork belly sinigang, and lumpiang shanghai. These are all top notch, and I would return to order these again! If you like a very sour sinigang, this is the one for you! They loaded our dish with so many pieces of meat and veggies (it's a bit pricey at $22), but I wish we could have refilled the broth!! Yes, it's that good! We have also tried the lechon kawali (good), fried calamari (good), patatim, grilled bangus, and bbq chicken. My family liked most of the other foods we tried, the bangus was a bit rushed (likely as we were also in a rush). The do charge per serving of rice, and I wish some of the dishes came with rice (only the bbq chicken does). Also their "garlic rice" isn't true garlic rice. It is essentially the plain rice with fried garlic bits on top. Overall, great addition to the Filipino foodie scene in NJ!
google avatar

Jefe D.

Yelp
Fantastic Filipino restaurant on the West Side area of Jersey City. Staff is great and friendly. I ended up ordering the lechon kawali and the calamari. The portions are a great size for the price. The lechon kawali was so juicy and the side of vinegar sauce was amazing! Definitely recommended if you are in the JC area and want Filipino food!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Authentic Filipino food at a wonderful price. Their Bangus sisig is a specialty. If you've never had Bangus, it's a flaky Asian white fish. In this street food dish, it's fried with Filipino spices and herbs. Both the pork bbq and grilled chicken were delicious. Carmelized with a brown sugar glaze and served over garlic rice on banana leaves. 5/5 sarap!
google avatar

Vizel T.

Yelp
If option zero i will give...So my family went here this afternoon, no love on the food, service experince was the most terrible, they rub you if you try to eat dine in they dont give you the check on table for you not to read food itenerary..they will have to pay at the cashier..be very careful cause what on the screen it has hidden additional charge. I check that itenerary 2x before i swipe my card. When i check the receipt almost an hr driv..they charge us 1 order mussel "tahong" that we never order!!! The paying wait 30 mins just to get out.. Horrible.

Joshua W.

Yelp
The food was excellent. This restaurant has produced the best Filipino food I have found in this town. I tried the fried Bangus, the Liempo and the Sinigang. All three were very delicious. The only negative thing that I have to say is they give small portions of rice.

Pauline Theresa S.

Yelp
The fishballs was and the sauce seemed diluted thai chili sauce. The fried pork chop was definitely worth the price. It can feed 2 people. I paired it with garlic rice, but I think the java rice might be a better side for this dish. Overall, pretty satisfied.
google avatar

Pat O.

Yelp
Jayhan's grill satisfied our filipino food cravings. Worth the long drive especially the isaw ng baboy and the Cansi (which I don't have the picture because I just went and ate it!) I'd suggest you call before hand just to make sure they have the specialties you want, we came one time and they ran out of isaw. Would still recommend this restaurant
google avatar

Tristan S.

Yelp
I so much want to give them 5 stars! But their lack of attention to timing is something that needs to be addressed. I understand quality food takes time to cook, but time management and food staging is crucial to a small establishment like this if you want to continue to grow your followers and supporters. Food is phenomenal! No questions on that area. by service has to improve, it shouldn't take 30 mins to receive your appetizer. The lack of table touches to ensure guests are enjoying their meal is Minima to lacking. Don't let my review deter you from trying their dishes out. As I've stated their are phenomenal. You just have to be patient with the
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love Jayhan's Grill! Best filipino spot in the neighborhood and great go to place for all your filipino cravings. Also presentation and portion is 10/10!!! I'm always leaving Jayhan's with a full stomach and happy heart. Definitely recommend if you're in the area, the interior space is also very welcoming and perfect for get togethers or a little mini date!!!

Rb G.

Yelp
This is my first time eating at Jayhan's and for sure it wouldn't be the last. They serve made to order tasty food. I pre-ordered the appetizers before going there for a sit down lunch about 30 minutes earlier so there was no time wasted when we arrived and just ordered the entre when seated. My fave are the street food selection such as Kwek Kwek, Siomai, Fishballs plus sisig.
google avatar

Jane C.

Yelp
Amazing authentic Filipino food! Everything tastes so good you can't go wrong with any order :P
google avatar

Candice F.

Yelp
Not like the typical turo turo Filipino restaurants that you would find all over Jersey City. Their food is made as you order and always comes out so good! That's why you have to call them 40 minutes before you wanna pick up your food. My favorite is the grilled chicken because it isnt dry, full of flavor, comes with your choice of rice and sauce on the side. I also like their sisig(s) (tofu, pork, bangus). Their bulalo (beef marrow soup) is also really flavorful and great. Pork isaw is a good snack or pulutan (something you eat while drinking alcohol) although I dont drink. I think I mentioned all the ones that I've tried so far and I really like all of them, so I'm not scared to try out their other food because I can already tell whoever the chef is, he/she knows how to cook that good food!

T M.

Yelp
I loved the ginataang langka, very tasty. Loved the coconut milk ratio. I will order bigger portion for sharing with my family. The calamari may need to be crispy fried a little more. Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu. The staff were nice & considerate saying it will take 30-40 minutes & they will call me when ready to pick-up so I did my errands.

Corbert U.

Yelp
Good portions, selections and service! This place in underrated. It's a better version of Woodsibe restaurants!

Marisa M.

Yelp
Pork bbq is the best. Always freshly prepared and worth the money. Definitely will spread the word.

Yelp
Good food, generous servings! My husband really liked the sisig bangus. Lots of Filipino dishes to choose from. Worth a try!!

Yelp
I got this recommendation from a friend of mine.We looked up the menu and the spread and advertising is fantastic.Pictures look good and appetizing.I wonder if the taste is as good as the pics. So my friend and me ordered this Budol Feast. They even prepared it before their opening timeJust for me.I picked it up and even assisted me to the car. When I reached the party,I was amazed with the presentation.Food was hot still, taste is the best.Whatever is in the picture, speaks for itself.I will order it again.Everybody was asking where did I order it?Recommended for a party of 6-10.

Yelp
Ordered Lechon Kawali to go and my family loved it! Will come back and try their other food when I get a chance. Service was also good as they were very welcoming and used a Filipino term of respect, "Po" all the time. Love that when it comes to customer service!

Yelp
Ordered thru door dash. Garlic rice is really good. Kare- kare was meh. The sauce is too heavy and thick like cornstarch was used. It was really gelatinous. Meat wasn't that tender. Lechon kawali is decent...I had to fry it a little bit more. Sisig is ok. Best thing on the menu was the fried bangus. I could eat that all day with garlic rice.

Yelp
I give this place 4 stars for the sisig alone. It's up there with Mamafina's sisig. The other Filipino dishes are pretty decent too but the sisig is my favorite and a must try for "newbs".
