All the Best Things to Drink at Disneyland | Eater LA

"While this New Orleans-inspired restaurant does offer classic cocktails such as the sazerac, vieux carre, and hurricane, where else can one get a beignet-flavored cocktail garnished with a mini glazed beignet? Be forewarned this is a sugar bomb made with cake vodka, butterscotch schnapps, vanilla syrup, and half and half." - Caroline Pardilla

Lively atmosphere, flavorful food, and live jazz vibes! We had a great time at Jazz Kitchen! The ambiance brings a fun New Orleans style vibe with colorful decor and occasional live music that makes the whole dining experience feel festive. The gumbo and jambalaya were both packed with flavor, and the beignets are a must try, fluffy, warm, and perfectly sweet. Service was friendly but a bit slow during the dinner rush, so I’d recommend going a little earlier if you want a more relaxed pace. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but you’re paying for the experience as well as the food. Overall, a great place to enjoy classic Southern cuisine right in the heart of Disney.

An excellent kick off to our Disneyland adventure at the Jazz Kitchen in downtown Disney. Quickly seated and met with our fantastic server. Drinks came to the table fast and we're well prepared. The food was also just a quick to the table. Well prepared and seasoned to perfection. They also had a full gluten free menu with great options. Tied off the meal with the cannot miss beignets. I am partial to the powdered ones but they were all tasty. Don't miss out on your next meal opportunity here at the Jazz Kitchen!

We had such a great first experience at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio! The atmosphere in the courtyard was perfect — beautiful weather, great vibes, and a relaxing setting. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious. Since it was our first time, our waitress recommended the Crab Beignets, and we’re so glad she did — they were packed with flavor without being overpowering. Everything we tried was cooked perfectly and full of fresh, balanced flavors. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend checking this spot out at least once — it’s a gem.

The food is okay at best. The main problem with their food is that it is probably the worst option in the Downtown Disney area. I got the soft shell crab po’ boy, it was probably the worst po’ boy I’ve had in my life. It wasn’t terrible by any means, it just brought me little joy. My family thought their food was okay, but no one raved about anything. It was probably the lowlight of our Disney trip. My daughter thought the fries were good and the potato salad I got with my sandwich was fairly good. Nothing else worth noting.

I’ve been to this place over the years, but this was my first time back since the remodel. The updated interior feels more upscale, yet it still maintains a welcoming vibe that’s great for families with kids. The outdoor seating is a perfect option for warm summer nights. The food was delicious. I had a burger, my husband ordered the gumbo, and we shared the crab beignets, which were absolutely phenomenal! Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Staff made it a pleasant experience, food was also really delicious and made fresh to order. My server went out of the way to give us a happy birthday beniet for free which we really appreciated. Shrimp and Grits were the standout here and would highly recommend. Poutine Fries were also crispy but had the same delicious jambalaya doused on top. Overall great experience, once again, the staff is the part that really stood out to me. They were super professional and made sure everything was right!

Google
They are famous for their beignet but do yourself a favor and get the double chocolate bread pudding instead. It was amazing! I got the Mac and cheese but liked the Gumbo Ya-Ya more. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Our sever was great. I’ll definitely come back.

The Baseline: For a Cajun Finer Dining establishment the creole flavors must be represented, there must be unique offerings to the restaurant, and the experience must be true to the spirit of a the Cajun culture. Food: The food at Jazz Kitchen has some great dishes and some good dishes. Everything tasted great and had a nice portion size. Best Dishes of the visit were the Spicy Grilled Chicken “Macaroni and Cheese” Bowl, Grilled Medallions of Fillet Mignon, Peach Pie Old Fashioned, and the Bananas Foster House Beignets. These had great taste, great preparation, and styled presentation. These good dishes were the Soft-shelled crab BLT Po-boy, Creole Pasta Jambalaya, and the Crab Beignets which were good but the po-boy was a little clunky, I wish the creole jambalaya was a rice dish, and the crab beignets were basically fritters. Good to great food and flavors overall. Service: Great service at the Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio. The water glasses were always full and we were checked on in a regular basis. Ambiance: The decor and vibe of the restaurant is like going to a New Orleans restaurant except with Disney theme park vibes and much cleaner streets. We got to sit out in the patio courtyard and it was nice. The bathrooms were clean.

Yelp
We celebrated our daughter's birthday last night at the Jazz Kitchen. Food was delicious, my wife and I had the Jambalaya and others had the Gumbo. The ambience was a bit loud as we were in front of the live entertainment. Our server John was excellent, we would recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
While visiting Downtown Disney, we decided to have dinner at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio. With so many options in the area, we chose this one, and it did not disappoint. The food was good, well-prepared, and flavorful. The drinks were just okay, nothing too special but still enjoyable. While there wasn't much of an ambience to talk about, it's still a solid choice if you're looking for a decent meal while exploring Downtown Disney. Overall, it's a good restaurant with good food, though not necessarily a standout experience.

Yelp
We came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and it was one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. When we arrived, there was a huge crowd outside waiting, but we were seated inside within minutes. Our server, Josh, was outstanding. He made great recommendations, was super attentive and friendly. We had the Gumbo Yaya, BBQ Shrimp & Grits, Creole Pasta Jambalaya, and Blackened Salmon. We enjoyed our meal immensely. Portions were generous, so we all got to taste each dish. Everything was well-seasoned, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The live piano music and singing made the evening even more special.

Yelp
After a long day at Disneyland, our group of 10 was looking for a sit-down restaurant that could accommodate us quickly, and Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio was a great choice. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, and we were seated without too much of a wait (about 30 minutes when everywhere else was 1-3 hours) Our waitress, Christie, was phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu. We started with the cornbread and calamari, both solid choices. For mains, we had the shrimp and dumplings (which stood out as a well-executed take on shrimp and gnocchi) and the New York steak, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Honestly, we have no real complaints--the food was good, service was excellent, and everything went smoothly. The only reason we're giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while everything was tasty, nothing necessarily blew us away, especially given the higher price point. That said, if you're looking for a solid Creole-inspired meal near Disneyland, this is a great option!

Yelp
Saturday night 2nd floor sat with Danielle and omg did my wife and I have an awesome time. Danielle is pure awesome, we had so much fun and the food was consistent like previous visits beyond outstanding. This was the weekend of Valentines and the limited time special was blue crab caprice, lobster mac n cheese with a filet mignon with pink peppercorn (was small at 3oz but rocked in flavor), and a dessert white chocolate strawberry shortcake. The wine reduction sauce of the steak was so good I was dipping poutine fries in it. Blue Crap Pesto Caprice salad while a bit small on portion but so fresh tasting it was really a treat special flavor to experience. The dessert went to my wife lol so need to read her review lol. Had so much fun that night I will be coming back again soon. Not a fan of the remodel but a fan of the food and service. Mark, Danielle, Brandon, and Mae all need raises. Will be back again soon!

Yelp
We came to Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and were pleasantly surprised that the wait for a party of seven was only 15 minutes--pretty impressive for a Friday night in Downtown Disney! My fiancé and I hadn't been back since the renovation, so we were excited to see what's new. The vibes were great, and the aesthetic was super cute. We were seated inside, where a live pianist/singer performed Disney songs, which I absolutely loved--it added such a fun and magical touch to the experience. Unfortunately, when we looked at the menu, we found limited vegetarian options. The only choices were the Green Goddess Salad (without bacon) and the Vegan Pasta, which our waitress kindly mentioned could be a bit bland if ordered mild. She was also incredibly thoughtful and let us know that all fried food has cross-contamination with pork, which we don't consume due to religious reasons. We really appreciated her honesty and attentiveness! Since the options were limited, we decided to just order an appetizer and dessert, and I'm so glad we did because both were delicious! The Southern Garlic Cheese Bread was flavorful and comforting, and the Hot Classic Beignets were a must-try--warm, fluffy, and absolutely worth it. We didn't get a chance to try the main dishes or cocktails, but they looked promising. We'll likely be back for drinks, appetizers, and more beignets! Hopefully, they'll expand their vegetarian options in the future. Overall, a great place for ambiance, live music, and delicious treats!

Yelp
We had a company offsite and initially booked a place that ended up being a bit too far to walk--especially after a full day at Disneyland. Luckily, we stumbled upon this gem and were thrilled that they had space for our group of 16. They seated us quickly, and the menu was packed with tempting options. I was torn between the gumbo and jambalaya but ultimately went with the jambalaya with rice--absolutely delicious! Our waitress was incredibly fast and attentive, delivering top-notch service. The real highlight? The beignets for dessert. Light, fluffy, and a must-order!

Yelp
My brother took us all to Disneyland, so I took us all to dinner ;) like one of those videos where he books all the flights and hotels so you go buy him a donut (: Our family dined here on a Sunday evening without an existing booking, my sister called them when we were in line for Space Mountain and asked if our party of 8 could come over for dinner without an extended wait and they said we could head over, which was perfect. We did just that! We shared a lovely dinner at Jazz Kitchen. My brother and his wife used to come down here for dinner so it wasn't their first rodeo but a first for many of us. My Dad and his daughters started with adult bevvies, we're the ones who don't subscribe to the narrative that alcohol and wellness don't go together, so no such thing as dry January for us three. I ordered the chocolate blackberry mint julep, my sister and Dad enjoyed glasses of red wine. We shared a couple of cornbread's, and each ordered various different entrees including Gumbo, Shrimp and Grits, Coconut Shrimp, Sea Bass and Gulf Shrimp and more. Everything was tasty and plentiful. The live piano was a great! Jazz Kitchen was a fun space, with superb service. The majority of my family lives out of state now, so it was really special to spend Sunday Supper together unhurried. We were also celebrating a couple of birthdays and our server brought out two orders of fresh beignets which I must say were just as scrumptious as my fav beignets in New Orleans. If your family is looking for a dining option outside of the park (I know it can be a little tricky securing bookings in the park for larger parties on short notice) Jazz Kitchen is a excellent choice.

Yelp
We arrived a little early for our reservation, willing to wait until the reservation time, but we were seated almost right away. It took a bit for the server to come to the table, but we weren't in a rush. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We had a couple of members of our party with allergies. We were warned that there might be cross contamination in the kitchen for certain menu items, but we were also told what was safe. Our dinner was delicious. The menu had a variety of options and we all had a hard time deciding what to eat since everything looked good. Drinks were tasty. We will be back.

Yelp
Jazz Kitchen is a pretty nice dinner option in downtown Disney. I didn't have super high expectations because of the rating, but I thought the experience was quite nice. Obviously the biggest appeal of coming here is the restaurant being located in a prime location. Surprisingly when I came on a Saturday night it was easy to get a seat and didn't have to wait long at all. The customer service was also good and checked up on my table often. What I ordered for myself and what my table also ordered to share: - Bayou Bacon Smash Burger ($25) - Crispy Calamari ($19) Can't really complain too much about the prices because this is pretty standard for a restaurant in downtown Disney. I got the Bayou Bacon Smash Burger because price wise it wasn't unbelievably outrageous for a restaurant burger in a location like this. It wasn't a bad burger at all either. Is it In-N-Out tier? Not at all, but its a decent burger with two patties and a whole lot of pickles. The bun was good and I liked the sauce. The bacon was very crispy and the patty wasn't seasoned too much, but it was cooked well. The fries were pretty forgettable. The crispy calamari was solid. It is pretty standard calamari. It was solid although a little too bready for some pieces. Overall I can't complain too much about it. I thought it was a nice appetizer to share with the table. The seafood tasted fresh enough. For the convenience I think Jazz Kitchen is a good spot to go to if you are ever in the Disney area.

Yelp
Located in Downtown Disney, closer to the Disney hotels. We had RSVP before hand since we were celebrating a friend's 50th birthday. About a 5 or so minute wait. 2 levels and multiple dining areas. We were seated upstairs in a semi private room. First level dining had a live jazz band performing. Bar upstairs and downstairs. Food was delicious. We shared appetizers of calamari and fries. Our server was great, checked on us a several times after food was served. He was kind enough give our birthday girl a beignet dessert and put our 50th birthday celebration decor that we brought. Had a lovely time & would visit again.

Yelp
I've dined here several times over the years, most recently after the new and refreshed Jazz Kitchen with brighter and modern decor and new furniture. The menu features many familiar Creole classics and some new dishes to try. We dined here for dinner recently, and it was fairly busy. We were able to get a table without too much waiting. Most of the food we ordered was delicious, and everyone at our party enjoyed what they got. I got the Crab & Shrimp Remoulade Roll, and it was delicious. It was a bit bread-heavy, but a decent amount of lump crab and shrimp piled on top. I do miss the Lobster roll, though. The Gumbo Ya-Ya was flavorful with a little spicy kick. The NOLA BBQ Gulf Shrimp & Grits was a favorite on previous visits and was still enjoyable. Plenty of shrimp on top of well-made grits. The Cajun Skillet Cornbread is also a tasty shareable. For dessert, we shared the Double Chocolate Bread Pudding with ice cream on the side. You can also request that the ice cream be placed on top. It's a delightful, meal-ending treat. You also can't go wrong with any of the Beignet desserts. The drink menu offers house cocktails, local and craft beers, wine, and more. I opted for a bottled Abita root beer, which hit the spot and it's from Louisiana. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the food and vibes, and our server was kind and attentive. However, he forgot a cocktail we ordered, which wasn't on the bill at the end. Prices have also increased over the years, but then again, it's higher everywhere. I recommend trying this spot if you love Creole cuisine and relaxed vibes. There's also live music on the first floor, where the bar and stage are. Magic Key passholder discounts and parking validation are also available.

Yelp
Easily walked in and got a table at about 3:30pm. No wait list reservations but we were accommodated by just walking up! Coconut Shrimp dish was a 10/10. Would definitely come back just for this dish. The sauce was very delicious, buttery and lemony. The banana beignets were more artificially flavored. I think I would have enjoyed the original beignets much more. 7/10 Overall this restaurant was delicious.

Yelp
We had not been here since they renovated the restaurant, a little over two years ago. While the decor may be different, the core of the menu has been updated with some of the traditional plates still available. Regardless of what is ordered, you will enjoy an excellent meal, quality food with fresh ingredients, with a wonderful New Orleans experience. The service was top notch, answered all of our questions, made awesome recommendations. We enjoyed everything from their special Valentine's Day menu, to their delicious garlic bread and poutine potatoes appetizers. Their cocktails are bomb as well! Kudos to the whole staff, Alex thank you for making our family outing last night memorable, we will come back!

Yelp
Originally was going to eat at Din Tai Fung, but thought the wait might be too long for dinner so came here. Only waited 5 minutes. Once we were sat we were greeted by our server within minutes. It was cold but the heater, that was right next us, was pretty hot. The staff was quick to address it, and they even asked the family also next to the heater before they did anything. We ordered wine, which came in decent time, but our entrees took a bit longer than expected. Our server was very communicative about the wait and checked on us frequently, so with the wine (the pours were heavy) we didn't mind waiting. My coconut shrimp was barely warm when I received it, but was still pretty good. I was a fan of the rice, as it really rounded out the shrimp and veggies. I would definitely come back here again. I'm sure the wait and the temp issues were just a product of it simply being the day before New Year's Eve.

Yelp
A great place to bring your family for a wonderful experience. I was seated without a reservation, even with a party of four. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Surprisingly, the service was quick even though there were plenty of people dining in. The food is rich in flavor and authentically captures the taste of New Orleans. Stop by and give this place a try if you're feeling hungry.

Yelp
Was walking thru Downtown Disney and beignets were calling us. It's about 9:00pm on a Saturday and we were hopeful for a restaurant that didn't require reservation and sat us right away. Jazz Kitchen had a nice menu and was able to give us a table outside. We had heated lamps all around us and above so it was warm on a cool night. Nancy was our waitress and we wouldn't want anyone else. She was attentive and just simply provided amazing service. Food arrived in a timely manner. Drinks are great. She remembered a mentioned birthday and brought out a nice surprise for our bday girl. A nice time and dinner at Jazz. Will return

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend at the time when hanging around downtown Disney looking for food. This place was PACKED, but they had a table with no wait and live jazz music so we came in anyway and it was super fun! I was surprised they were as fast as they were with food given how many other tables and people were there... nevertheless. The food was quite good, it's Louisiana/soul-food inspired as you can imagine. The drinks were SOOO strong, too strong actually - my floral cocktail which was rec'd by the waitress was so strong I had to water it down with my bf's drink. But then it was perfect! Overall, thought this was a great easy spot for dinner @downtown Disney. Probably wouldn't seek it out again cause I'm not a big soul food person to begin with but the liveliness alone makes it fun and worth at least one visit when you're near!

Yelp
The shrimp & grits were the best I've ever had! The garlic bread was amazing too, it had so much flavor. I will be craving the shrimp & grits until my next trip. Thank you so much Jasmine for the wonderful recommendations & service. Such a yummy dinner after a fun Disney day!

Yelp
I loved the place. It had a nice indoor outdoor feel and live jazz music! This restaurant is serving up creole food, some with a unique spin. I ordered crawfish lettuce wraps as an appetizer. I never would have thought this would be a good combination but it was actually really tasty. Also ordered the calamari and it was great, seasoned and fried well. For my main dish I got the Jambalaya Pasta. I was hesitant about it but it was actually delicious! The flavor was definitely there and balanced well with the pasta. I also tasted the shrimp and grits and they were delicious. The smoke and pineapple cocktail was amazing, especially if you love Mezcal! They also have beignets here, but I didn't get the chance to try them. I will definitely do that next time! Solid dining choice if you're in the downtown Disney area.

Yelp
The Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney is so spacious and nice! Plenty of tables with indoor and outdoor patio and also a second floor overlooking their courtyard. We were a group of 4 on a Friday night walking in around 5pm. Plenty of seats and sat right away. There was live music around 6 or 7 by a solo musician inside that was fantastic. This place is definitely 4.5 stars. They also serve the beignets as the place next door, I do wish it was Mickey or Disney shaped though like inside the park. Food: - Crispy Calamari: yummy appetizer and tiny bit spicy with the chili flakes - Blackened Salmon: this was super good and flavorful - Gumbo Ya-Ya: this was not good, just not what we expected of gumbo that we're used to - Spicy Grilled Chicken "Macaroni & Cheese" Bowl: thick and rich of Gouda this could be shared as its heavy - Fried Crawfish Lettuce Wraps: comes with a garlic sauce that is flavorful and delicious

Yelp
We had a great meal and phenomenal service here today. There are a lot of choices at Downtown Disney. My daughter (12) and I stopped in on a whim and had a great meal. I ordered a Caesar salad with blackened salmon, and she has the kids burger. They were both well prepared and came out quickly, with fresh ingredients and great quality. Our server was John, and he was fantastic. He did a great job of balancing being attentive and respectful of table conversation. We're always so grateful for that. Thank you for a great experience!

Yelp
This is our second time back post pandemic. The first time was not worth writing about. Food was good but the experience was not great. Today, however, a twist of fate brought us here and we had the fortune of meeting Brandon and Mark. Mark was originally our server but we ended up with Brandon because we moved tables. Both were phenomenally and naturally friendly and really took pleasure in serving. They brightened our night no matter what our mood was coming in. We'll definitely look for them again. The menu changed since our last time and we were sad to see the couscous jambalaya was gone. I had the sea bass and shrimp which had an amazing flavor profile but the sea bass was a bit over and fishy. My husband had the chimichurri steak and that had such a delicious perfect char and sauce. The sweet potatoes went great with it too. I'll order his dish next time. Didn't think much of the gumbo ya ya but we really enjoyed the poutine (which has gumbo on it). For dessert we took home the beignets which were good but I prefer the double chocolate soufflé with its fresh baked crusty outside and delicious chocolate sauces. Note: They are only doing magic key discounts during lunch.

Yelp
We didn't realize the Blue Bayou, in Disneyland, had a pretty long wait list, so we found Jazz Kitchen just outside. The food was amazing. Ordered: -Cajun Skillet Cornbread (hearty and flavorful) -Coconut Crusted Shrimp (super tasty) -CGP Fried Chicken (I knew they would not mess up fried chicken. It was moist ) 10/10 would totally return 7/10 for their bathrooms. Use the money yall earn to get that taken care of

Yelp
A near perfect dining experience. Despite having a large party of nine, we were seated within 30 mins without a reservation. We were seated outdoors near the entrance of the restaurant and the vibe was nice and relaxing after walking around the entire day. For a nightcap, I ordered the chocolate pumpkin spice latte which was a seasonal offering. I definitely got hints of the fall spices and thought that this drink was more chocolate forward. I didn't taste the pumpkin as strongly but still enjoyed the flavors. The drink still had a nice boozy component which I enjoyed because I don't like my drinks overly sweet where I can't taste the alcohol. For food, I ordered the coconut crusted shrimp. Flavor-wise, the dish tasted exactly as I would have envisioned it. The shrimp were perfectly coated, with a nice crunchy texture and a hint of sweetness from the coconut. I was pleasantly surprised at how juicy the shrimp were since the coating seemed to be browned pretty well. The mango beurre blanc was really nice and I'd love to see more of it. The broccolini was also cooked perfectly and had a good texture without being undercooked. My only lament was that the rice was a little soft and overcooked for my preferences. For dessert, our table shared the double chocolate bread pudding and it did not disappoint. It was rich and decadent, most definitely ala mode is the way to go. As a heads up, definitely order the bread pudding early because it does take some TLC to make. On to the service, our server was very kind and attentive and so sweet throughout. We did experience quite a bit of a wait with our food and dessert orders and he tried his best to keep us updated. Afterwards, He had spoken to the manager and they had adjusted our bill as an apology for the wait. A lot of us worked in the service industry previously and totally understood, especially since we were dining in on a Friday Night. We really appreciated this gesture since we had not brought it up. I think a good mark of service is being able to anticipate your tables needs as well as knowing where they're at in their meal. This is my second time dining here and honestly I haven't been disappointed. The food is fantastic and the staff here always take really good care of us when we do. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is a decent place to eat in my opinion, despite the less than 4 stars overall rating on Yelp. Let me tell you why! If you are a couple with no kids, lives locally, getting a table here might not be such a big ordeal. Twice already since they remodeled, my bf and I stopped by here on our way back from events at the convention center and we did not have to wait much. The first time was during the day on a Saturday late lunch and we were seated maybe within 5 minutes upstairs at a table. Tonight, we stopped by again despite being super crazy crowded in DT Disney, hopefully we would get lucky again and we did because the bar area had lots of spaces! We got a high table at the bar for two. There are a total of 3 high tables for two right behind the bar. Our service was Jorge and he was wonderful and very attentive. Live music with wonderful an charming lady on the piano. Food came very quickly after we ordered and everything was perfect. I can't complain! I would come again and come sit at the bar area!

Yelp
Blackened salmon was delicious, and the hamburger was a good size. My water was never empty :) Beignets, a perfect finish. Plus: There's music!

Yelp
This used to be known as Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen and had a lovely New Orleans theme to it. The decor and restaurant style was like the French Quarter in NOLA. They recently remodeled and the new design is very modern and clinical, with no NOLA elements. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the redesigned restaurant. It's just plain and boring, in my opinion. We decided to give it a try though, but I miss the fountain and the decorations they had before. We shared a chicken Caesar and added grilled shrimp to it. The salad was very average, nothing special. The Southern Garlic cheese bread had minimal cheese. Of the 5 slices of bread, only 2 had cheese on them. I'm not sure why all of the pieces wouldn't have cheese if you're going to call it cheese bread. It was VERY heavy on the garlic (and I do love garlic, but this was a lot!). Our server was pretty good, she was friendly and helpful. She recommended the bananas foster beignets, so we decided to get an order with half the classic and half bananas foster beignets. This was great as we got to sample both. They were both AMAZING. This was the redeeming quality of this restaurant, as we both really enjoyed this scrumptious dessert. I would return to the quick service spot next store to order the beignets again, but would probably not dine at the restaurant itself.

Yelp
Absolutely killer food!!!! Best Shrimp and Grits ever!!!! We arrived around 6:30 and according to yelp the standby was going to be almost an hour. I checked in at the front and luckily the wait was only 5 minutes. We've been here many times and the food, drinks and service has always been spot on!!!!

Yelp
We have been at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Gill & Patio a few years before after visiting Disneyland. The selection around Downtown Disney with a family in tow again made us gravitate back at Jazz Kitchen. Ambiance inside the restaurant sure does feel like that of the French Quarter which is very nice. The restaurant itself is quite expansive and were seated in the second floor around the corner. The kids had their usual fare of hamburger and chips. I am recollecting what I ordered that night, and I seem not seeing what I had, but I'm pretty sure I had some pot roast with shrimp and grits. We also had some calamari to share around the table. The pot roast and shrimp was pretty good, and the grits where creamy and savory as well. The calamari is properly crunchy outside, and the fries form my kids meals were good as well.

Yelp
We 10/10 recommend this place and it was one of the best places we ate during our trip. The food is fantastic, and everything came out quick and hot. We ordered the Mac and Cheese, and one of the chicken dishes along with the Bananas Foster Beignets. It's cute in here, and they had a pianist playing Christmas songs while we dined. Our server was wonderful and I wish I got his name!

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were sat pretty quickly and our server was awesome. But the food! So disappointing. I ordered the shrimp and grits, they were really bad. I know and understand this is a tourist area but Disney please do better. My sister got the gumbo and she could not finish it either because it was so bad. I'm giving it 3 stars because the drinks and service were good but not the food.

Yelp
I initially picked this spot because it was the only restaurant I could find that plays jazz almost every night! However, we were told we needed to request to be seated near the musicians upon arrival in order to hear them. We did get seated immediately despite missing our reservation though! The food was delicious and the drink recommended to me was sweet! My family loved it, but we did come for the jazz! It's in the name after all!

Yelp
Food here is always 100% , I like coming here when in town there are some changes to the location, I gotta admit I loved the look before really gave it the new Orleans style. Don't get me wrong the art inside now looks pretty. Service can not fail here, our server was amazing.

Yelp
Honestly a big improvement from before the renovation! The beignets were definitely the best part. The pastas were really standard and honestly neither good nor bad, very much standard average. The service is attentive and the vibes are really fun being smack center of downtown Disney. The patio seating that is facing directly downtown Disney is all heated with multiple space heaters making it very warm and a great spot to people watch.

Yelp
Love this place and we always have dinner here on all our trips to Disneyland. The food was amazing as always, never a complaint! But what made our dinner last night even better was the service we received. Our server was Dani T and was the absolute best. She made sure each course we had was to our liking. Our drinks never ran empty and our food was served pipping hot. She had so much incredible personality too, just so sweet and made you feel like you were eating at her home. Just as sweet and professional as can be. Can't wait to come back and will be sure to request sitting in her section! Thank you Jazz Kitchen and Dani T for the best meal!

Yelp
Alright, i have walked by this place for years and have never tried it before until today when my husband asked to try it. This place is sooo UNDERRATED!! We were trying to beat the heat and sat inside to nab some starters and drinks. Rootbeer Float Nojito Cornbread Lettuce wraps Honestly, we couldn't have had a better experience! Crystal was fab and her recommendations were spot on. The best lettuce wraps I have ever had and the cornbread had such a wonderful savory flavor to it. For any root beer fanatics this is one to try with real cane sugar. Nojito was refreshing. The ambience is casual and the music just right. Conversations can be heard, but not necessarily intrusive as the tables are close to each other. Already planning another trip back here. This is going to be a Disneyland Fave.

Yelp
First time here after the renovation. Spot looks great but I miss the New Orleans feel. The good thing is the food is still amazing. My steak dinner was sooooo good and my son's burger was on point. Our server was fantastic. He treated us very well.

Yelp
The updated renovation is outstanding with warm bright colors. The restaurant offers live music while you dine on California and southern cooking fusion style cuisine. All the entrees were very delicious and their food is now some of the best in Disney Resort. They have fresh beignets that are to die for. It's a must try. The steaks and southern food were fantastically flavored and cooked. The service was caring, attentive and friendly. We absolutely loved the improvements and this place is a must try.

Yelp
Disneyland offers tons of food and I really wanted to try Blue Bayou but I can never seem to grab a reservation. Jazz Kitchen had availability so that was our choice. My suggestion is to make reservations as the restaurant gets packed, especially at downtown Disney. Service was great but the food was A-ok The creole jambalaya was a tad spicy but it did not call to me. My partner had the Sea bass which lacked flavor aside from the sauce.

Yelp
Located at Downtown Disney. It's a big restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It is a sit down restaurant and there is live music (part of the loud noise). But the musicians are very good. It's nice to have them playing jazz music while you enjoy your food. The food was amazing. Don't come for snacks, the servings are big enough to share (in my opinion). We order Poutine, Calamari, Salmon, Hamburger and Chicken strips. We wanted to order the famous beignets but we were so full. We could have ordered it to go but the experience might not be the same. Maybe next time. Highlights: the Calamari was very good! Has the right hit amount of spice and very crispy! The kids ordered virgin Piña Coladas. OMG, they were delicious! Yes I tried it! lol. Cons: it can get really crowded and really loud. But this is Downtown Disney so it is to be expected. We ordered a "medium" burger but it was a bit dry.

Yelp
Had some visitors from out-of-the-country and brought them to Downtown Disney. I've always loved the ambiance of Jazz Kitchen - spacious, simple yet elegant, and from where we are seated we can still see the Downtown strip. The restaurant is smack in the middle of Downtown Disney, and it's usually the first thing you notice when you're walking around. Food is of course a bit on the higher end - that's expected if you're in a tourist area - but compared to the others around here, this place's prices are fair. There were three of us and knowing that their serving is very generous, we had our French Quarter Salad, Crawfish Lettuce Wraps and Coastal Jambalaya served family style. We had the to-die-for beignets as dessert (you just gotta have this when you're in the area!) and the bill of $111 is precious, knowing how much the other restaurants in this area cost. Amanda was awesome, too! Very charming, warm, welcoming and just simply wonderful all throughout. Parking tips: the lot is vast - if you want to save some walking time, especially in the heat of summer, park not farther than Simba Lot 4 or 5. And have your parking validated at the restaurant! We forgot to have ours validated, but the parking guy was so nice in just asking us to show him the receipt and he just charged us $10.
