A quaint and intimate bar lounge hidden inside a unique storefront that has good drinks and amazing food. The presentation and craftsmanship of the drinks was phenomenal, and the pizza with vodka sauce is a must try! I would definitely recommend making a reservation since space is so limited, but I will definitely be back!

Great drinks and great atmosphere! It’s (not so) hidden behind a tailor shop, which was quite fun. They charged me for a drink I didn’t ask for, but I didn’t mind because the drink tasted decent.

Incredibly cool cocktail bar!! The bar is hidden behind a suit store so it gives a definite speakeasy vibe. My boyfriend and I did a cocktail class with Eric and it was such a great experience! Not only were the cocktails incredible, but we also got to take home the supplies and recipes! The class was so much fun and we will definitely come back to the bar again with friends

Discovered this spot through a friend. It's a cool experience to walk through the custom tailored suit shop that acts as the front entrance and enter into the speakeasy. Has a cool vibe with dark interior design and a good amount of seating. Great service and good drinks. Will definitely be back

Such a cool speakeasy! Took us a second to find the entrance as you can't see the bar from the outside. A hostess will greet you and check your coat before leading you into the bar. The atmosphere is great. It's a perfect location for drinks with friends, dates, etc. Very laid back vibe. While the drinks were good, they were a little on the pricey side and service was very slow. Didn't try any food so can't weigh in there. If you're looking for a cool place to talk, relax, and have a few drinks I'd recommend.

I booked a cocktail class for a group of six and was incredibly impressed with the manager Eric who was attentive, kind and quick to respond during the booking process. The atmosphere and cocktails were AMAZING and they give each person their own cocktail tools. I ordered the food in advance and they had everything timed perfectly for us. We were not able to take our tools with us so Eric shipped them to all six of us individually. Whether for the class or just a beautiful bar and delicious cocktail, I highly recommend this speakeasy. 👍😊

We were in the area looking for a bar when we found this place on google maps. Had no idea it was a speakeasy so we kept walking back and forth until we realized that this speakeasy is tucked away behind a suit store - so brilliant and cute! It was fairly packed on a Friday night around midnight but died down afterwards. A nice lowkey atmosphere to go with a group of friends, can be an intimate date spot too. Drinks were on the sweeter side but there's a good variety. I got Mr. Pink and it was so delicious! Didn't get to try the food. Lovely place, will definitely come back!

From the exterior, it looks like and is a clothing store and it's easy to miss the fact that there's a bar hidden behind there because the J Bespoke sign is above the door and the sign on the door says something else. There's a host at the front entrance who directs you to a secret door in the back behind which are the bar and lounge seats. The interior is narrow but cozy, with dim lighting, art on the wall, and plush seats. The temperature was comfortable. The server came by pretty quickly after we sat down and took our order. This bar is on the InKind restaurant network, so I wanted to give it a shot because it is a speakeasy. I've been encouraging all my friends about and referring to them to the InKind app, which makes the quite pricey NYC drinks a little cheaper. The drinks were around $18 each. The service was attentive and consistent. Drinks were moderately strong and flavorful. They charge a fee for drinks that are not on their menu (not an upgraded liquor, but my margarita was $2 more) plus a service fee for credit cards. Businesses will do anything to sneak in extra charges when most people look st their itemized receipt. Similar establishments in NYC don't do that. I paid with the InKind app, not a credit card, and there was still a charge. I would recommend for the vibe and well-made drinks but pay cash if you want to avoid additional fees!

Staff amazing! When you whether the building you will be greeted by someone. The front looks like a clothing store/ a bartending class. Staff is friendly and attentive! Love it here.

This is a true IYKYK speakeasy. I love taking my visiting friends and family here at night for some after-dinner drinks because it's such a cool experience. The front of the store looks like a bespoke suit company. But, once the host checks your reservation (reservations are a must!), they open a large, bright wooden door to a fun, lounge room. They serve food up to a certain time (I think 9 pm). They also play sports games one their screens up to a certain time then they switch it to a true club/lounge room. The space is clean and small, so it feels very intimate. The staff are incredibly nice and professional as well. The drinks are delicious! I've had the Cold Brew Martini (my personal favorite) and the Peat & Tiki (very strong). I usually order the guacamole for a small snack for our table and that's usually good too.

10/27/23: Second time and this time I brought two friends along. Although I've been here prior still manage to have issues locating it, but we did. Didn't have reservations but just was accommodating. Although we kind of given a time limit due to reservations we totally stayed over the time limit and ummm it was a little empty when we left. Decor sleek dimly lit and has a little seat vibe. Upscale chic .Small interior but it does it job. Ingenious inspired cocktails. It may resemble water but my drink was Gin based! As always had to order those wings. That Parmesan flavored coating is the best. All in all good time had by all will continue to return and try other drinks.. especially as they are on the Seated reservation app and we received seated dollars from our bill. We found this speakeasy by chance on our way to dinner, which reminded me of a similar concept in Montreal. Once past the secret door, you will see a cozy "living room" with a few TV screens and a big screen behind the bar. I had the peat & tiki, and my partner got the mcAvoy as recommended by the waitress. I was surprised by how complex peat & tiki was - I tasted so many different flavors within one drink. The service was prompt and friendly. The decors were posh and sleek. It is hard to imagine how rowdy it could get during a major sport's event.

We stopped in here on a Friday. They were kind enough to seat us without a reservation. The drinks were decent and service was good. The thing that threw us off was the confusing atmosphere. We enjoyed the art, music, and moody lighting when we walked in. 30 minutes after we arrived, they turned on a huge screen with a college football game. It seemed so out of place for the vibe.

What a great speakeasy! Cool hidden entrance behind a tailoring shop. They were having a private party in front but the back was still open. We got seats at the bar without a reservation around 6pm on a Thursday around the holidays - then it got fully crowded. I got the martini with the truffle blue cheese olive and it was INCREDIBLE. Wow, very impressed, also not crazy price for truffle drink. Would come back just for that martini again.

Cute speakeasy. I've come here a few times after work and it's been a great place. Ambiance: Very classy, cozy, and elegant. The seats are very comfortable and all the table settings and glassware match the classy theme Service: It's always been great. Fairly fast and patient staff Drinks: The cocktails here are delicious. They are fairly reasonably priced as well. I've tried a few and I've never been disappointed. Food: We got fries and pizza and they tasted good. I wouldn't say it was the best. I would come here specifically just for drinks. Overall, a good spot to take a date or small group of friends. It's a bonus that the speakeasy is also on Seated so I was able to get 20% back on my total bill. If you don't have Seated, I highly recommend it as someone living in the city. Where else can you be watching the game and sip on craft cocktails?! Such a cool concept and perfect for me. We got to see some college bowl games while trying out some cocktails. They have plenty of coffee infused ones that I love. I could definitely put down several of the nitro cold brew martinis.

A really cool speakeasy the I had to ask a bouncer at another bar on how to find it! Apparently they'll play sports here on a jumbo screen which I didn't realize when I booked a reservation but it was cute and intimate. I got the G.O. Paloma which was good and spicy and my friend got charlottes dilemma which was really good and a little sweet! The charcuterie board was decent too. I knocked off a star because I was incorrectly marked as a no show for my Resy reservation which then charged my credit card a $100 fee and the only way I could get that taken off was to call them and have them remove the charge after sending proof. Good time while I was there, big inconvenience after.

Nice little spot. At first i was confused because when i arrived, the store said it was closed (coffee and bakery as storefront) but a waiter who was heading back in advised us it was open We went in with the direction of the host and sat down immediately. The ambience was nice for a date for drinks after dinner. Overall i would definitely recommend checking it out

Great, lowkey speakeasy spot in Flatiron. I don't think it's super well known, my friend and I were just able to walk in on a Friday evening which we loved not having to wait. Drinks tasted super fresh and fruity and service was great. The ambience was interesting, the speakeasy is half glass artwork and half sports bar. No one was watching the sports games as far as I could see so it seemed a bit random to have a huge screen take up half the space for sports games in what is otherwise a classy, elevated space, but I suppose that's what makes this place different and unique. I'd come back here if I'm in the area and don't want to wait a line elsewhere, but not the most impressive speakeasy in the city. Definitely worth a visit though and I had a fun time!

Oooo. A speakeasy that's still unknown enough to be quiet at 7pm on a Thurs night (but much louder by 9pm). Me like the pretty decor, pretty drinks and pretty staff. We imbibed a lot. The standout was the G.O. Paloma for being a great summer cocktail. Next, the Peat & Tiki does justice to scotch. Charlotte's Dilemma is perfect for drinkers who don't like the taste of alcohol. And the Call Me Bell was meh, so skip it despite the nice-sounding ingredients. Food-wise, we shared the Guacamole, Spicy Wings Oreganata and Waffle Fries. All tasty, all what you expect for speakeasy small bites. Decent portions--any two items would be enough for dinner unless you were starving. But if you don't like loud, leave before 9pm. Our quiet, blissful, sleek 'n' chic oasis turned all club vibes and us grandmas had to leave because we didn't bring our hearing aids.

Came here on a Friday night around 11 pm and luckily there were still tables for large groups! Staff was super accommodating and friendly. We quickly put in our drink orders- I got the Mr. pink, which was a cucumber infused vodka cocktail with pineapple notes. It was very refreshing and not terribly alcoholic (good thing or bad?) It was about $18- which I think is about average for NYC cocktails now. The space is really cute- the staff was able to smush three tables to accommodate 8 of us and the seating were plushy leather chairs. I loved the relaxed vibe of J Bespoke and would come back!

Awesome speakeasy tucked away in the flatiron/Gramercy area! It's got all the class of a classic speakeasy, but with a sports bar twist. Great cocktail selection, especially with the old fashions. Quite a few large screens where they can play the big games on. Really loved this place because of the balance of upscale cocktails, but down to earth sports bar ambiance.

Food, service, and ambiance were incredible. This is like a high-end cocktail bar for sports fans.

Classy yet not pretentious. Intimate and pretty small but it was fine because it wasn't full. I enjoyed it.

I've always thought the coffee shop Devoción was a bit suspicious - something about the spatial layout set off the alarm in my lizard brain. Then one day J.Bespoke popped up on my Yelp feed, I looked up the address, and it all made sense! As soon as we walked into Devoción, we saw the hostess waiting towards the back of the narrow coffee shop. She checked our coats and led us through the door into the stylish and intimate bar. They do have large screen TVs, but this really isn't your typical sports bar where you can stand and walk around with a beer. Noisy level is average which is great for conversing at ease. Cocktails were good and service was attentive and friendly. We were offered the menu and cucumber-infused water as soon as we sat down. Didn't try their food but I'll definitely be back for it. I wouldn't say that the space is tight as the table were pretty spaced out, but the seats are limited so I definitely recommend making a reservation, which can be easily done via Resy.

New addition to the speakeasy family in midtown! It's got a coffee bar at the front which opens into this gorgeous speakeasy with tall ceilings. Plush leather seats were incredibly comfortable and arguably better than the couch seating. Plenty of indoor seating although only a few seats at the bar. The drinks here were more watery than I expected for NYC. This was a disappointment and hope that it's stronger next time. Service was great. Fast water refills and drinks were quickly brought out.

To celebrate my team's completion of a project at work, we hired J.Bespoke for a virtual cocktail class. While I investigated the various virtual services out there, J.Bespoke initially stood out as being particularly responsive and personal on the phone. Not from the New York area, I originally had no familiarity with J.Bespoke but ultimately booked the event with them based on the positive interactions I had with the owner. J.Bespoke was the RIGHT choice, rather the PERFECT choice! First and foremost, my team is located across the continental U.S. as well as London. Within two weeks notice, J.Bespoke sent their cocktail kits (ingredients + tools) across the globe. Not to mention, these cocktail kits included very high quality tools that I know I will use endlessly in the future. Beyond the rapid order/delivery service, the owner of J.Bespoke would answer my emails within an hour's time. He provided all the information I needed to 1) join the Zoom, 2) select cocktails, 3) prepare my team for the event and 4) receive reimbursement from my employer. Finally, the event itself was outstanding. Jesse, the instructor, was not only knowledgeable but a pleasant new comer to our project team. He went at the perfect pace for the group and remained patient with some of our slow lemon juicing! I cannot compliment him enough for his instruction. You cannot go wrong with booking J.Bespoke for your next virtual cocktail event!

Walked here in the rain after having dinner at Osamil. The front is a coffee shop, you walk through a door after being checked in. Excellent staff. Host in front really a sweet guy and the waitress was lovely with a very warm smile. Drinks are great, I always appreciate an old fashioned that has one large ice cube. Seating is ok, it doesn't really promote cross mingling. Young crowd. Seating furthest from the bar feels a little awkward and tough to get comfortable. I was surprised to walk into a speakeasy vibe with large tvs with the rangers game on everywhere. I think they could really enhance the vibe with ambient lighting and art instead.

Great spot in a hidden location with wonderful service and delicious drinks. It was a total vibe until we walked in and saw a sporting event no one cared about taking up the entire back wall above the bar. The space is so artistic and cool so the game playing was puzzling and dimmed what could have been an epically cool vibe for the night. Wondering if that was just a one-time thing or happens all the time.

Ask them about their COCKTAIL MAKING CLASS! The cocktail class at J. Bespoke was nothing less than amazing! The venue is classy, intimate and overall perfect for our bachelorette party. The owners were attentive to all of our needs (including setting up a station of discreet mocktails for one of our guests who hadn't told anyone she was pregnant yet). They allowed us to come in early and put up a few decorations to really personalize the space. Jesse was our teacher and he was phenomenal! He was personable and very articulate. Jesse also helped us make the best cocktails we've ever made (spicy paloma, cucumber margarita, elderflower sour). They were delicious! We were also completely surprised that all of the bar tools we were using to make the drinks we were able to keep (along with recipes) so now we can make all of these delicious drinks at home! I would book this class for another private event in a heartbeat. Thank you, Eric & Jesse!

Im a sucker for speakeasies. I love the usually inconspicuous entrance and the more intimate ambience that a speakeasy provides. J. Bespoke does not fail to accomplish either. Went during Game 7 of the Bucks / Nets game (rip nets) and they had the game on the big screen and some of the side TVs as well. The drinks were great, albeit a bit expensive - but what isn't nowadays in nyc?? Highly recommend for a date night or if you're just trying to enjoy a night out and want a more upscale/classy environment. It's worth mentioning that I walked in with shorts and a graphic tee and was not turned over or treated any differently than the other guests, most of which were dressed smart/business casual.

Place is pretty cool. Drinks were a little bit weak but they were tasty. Wine is the safe option here. The vibe is cool though. Love that it's hidden away. But it also had a weird smell when we went. Service was good. Can't really complain. Overall it's an interesting spot especially if you want to watch sports.

This place has really good vibes. It's dimly lit and is quiet and sophisticated with very nice furniture. Perfect for a date. They also have TVs with sports games on, but the TVs do not take away from the vibe of the space. It is a speakeasy with a coffee shop in front. The drinks are excellent as well. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this bar.

J. Bespoke captures the magical feeling we used to get when speakeasies were a novelty. "Whoa a secret door in the back of a nondescript business opens up to a hidden bar?!" we'd muse before we grew jaded as "speakeasies" became a rite of passage for any burgeoning restaurateur. This transportational feeling is mainly owed to the forest green velvet seating lining the sides of the wood paneled walls, which lead up to a gorgeous, backlit bar. The space is simultaneously grand and sexy, and you wouldn't know it exists if you were just looking at the coffee shop in the front. The large screen TVs broadcasting sports across the walls might make you scratch your head and wonder if this place is trying to be a sports bar or a cocktail bar. Why not both? There's certainly a market for people who enjoy both. It is a novel experience, and though I am do not partake in any sports viewing whatsoever, I really like the feel of this bar. At $17 a cocktail, it's very easy to run up quite the tab here. If that ain't no thang for you, check out J. Bespoke. The drinks are mighty strong.

Drinks were good and service was super attentive and friendly. We missed our reservation so the hostess seated us at the couch area by the door, and told us we have a limit of one hour. This is all fine until she seated another couple, who told her they had no reservation and was looking for a table, next to us and told them they can stay however long they want. Ehh we're sitting on the same couch but why do we have a time limit? To made things worse, the hostess then told them when another table leaves, they can take the table. Excuse me? We were there first and we clearly expressed an interest in getting a table if available. Why weren't we offered the same? To give it some context: they're a straight, white couple; and we're two Asian gay men. I'll come back for the drinks but the hostess left a sour taste in my mouth.

A speakeasy inside a coffee shop. Sleek, modern, dim but not dark. Good for a night out with a small group of friends or one-on-one catch up. A classier vibe - good for a date if you don't want steamy action. Music is loud but softer than The Garret. Might need to talk loudly but at least you're not yelling.

Best drinks I've ever had. The bartender was so friendly and recommended drinks based on our first round and our conversations. He truly is an artist with his drinks, I was mesmerized watching him. Highly recommend!!

Almost don't want to give this spot away. Came here on a Saturday night and had an amazing time. The bartenders/waiters are extremely friendly, the drinks taste great, and the atmosphere is classy and chill. Would definitely come again!

I recently ran a virtual team event with J.Bespoke and could not be HAPPIER! They shipped all the liqueurs as well as some basic bar tools, and did a wonderful job walking us through how to make the cocktails as well as answering questions about cocktail making and what we were drinking! I wouldn't hesitate to have another event with them or recommend them to anyone looking to run an event. I'm hoping to visit in person when I have a chance!

I interpreted this place as a new take on a sports bar for cocktail lovers. Hidden behind a coffee shop, loads of velvet, gold, and leather, the ambiance and decor of the bar is everything you want in a modern speakeasy with the game on. I'll definitely book this spot for my next game night. The drink menu was very well designed and thought out. Alejandro the mixologist worked his magic and consistently served up awesome drink after awesome drink. Carmen our waitress was attentive and made some great recommendations. If you're a martini addict the truffle blue cheese olive martini hits the spot. Mezcal, tequila Negroni, old fashioned, all super tasty. My fiancé who's a huge old fashioned fan deemed this her favorite spot for old fashioned now. Didn't have any of the food but it all looked tasty caught of Whiff of the truffle fries and chicken kaarage. What's there not to like?? Recommendations to first time visitors. Plan ahead this place fills up fast and there is no standing space for bar as the like to keep the ambiance of the place seated only. My recommendation to the team would be to make the reservation process could be a little clearer. I stumbled upon the website and emailed the day of but didn't get any responses. If there was an open table or other way of getting the number on the website could have flowed better.

Make sure there isn't a big game on otherwise you (or your date, in my case) will be glued to the screen. But great service, drink menu, music, and vibe otherwise! I was literally shazaming every song - love their playlist. Innovative cocktails too!

Came in on a quiet Monday to check this place out. Love the decor and upscale aesthetic as was a little wary due to the sports bar hybrid. If there isn't a game the screens are artwork which is a nice touch. Excellent drinks in presentation and taste.

Drinks and atmosphere are great but they included a 10% covid recovery charge on the final bill and it isn't listed anywhere on the menu. I'm fine with paying this charge if they list it upfront but I ended up feeling like I was tricked into paying.

I have been at JBespoke for the past several weeks weekdays and weekends. Honestly this place had me at hello. Tucked away yet so warm and welcoming. I have enjoyed this hideaway as a cocktail lounge and sports bar. The buzz is awesome the crowd is so engaging the service great. When I'm there I don't wanna leave. Basically my living room!
