"Beaverton’s JCD is a great option for sampling Korea’s version of blood sausage, soondae. The nearly black sausage made from pork blood bound with cellophane noodles is typically served steamed and sliced, and occasionally served with — or inside — pork intestines. The restaurant’s soondae bokkeum is a stir-fry that combines the sausage with shredded carrots, pork intestines, and cabbage in a fiery gochujang-based sauce. JCD is open for delivery, takeout, and dine-in." - Krista Garcia

The restaurant is new and clean. It's not like regular bbq places because it doesn't smell like smoke. The food was average, and it can have more flavors. Definitely will give it another chance in the future.

Criminal to charge $11 for Fries! A bit expensive here. Lighting sucks and was a bit dark. Worst chopsticks, they use an odd Flat shape that’s awkward to use. Service was not bad, was ok; they didn’t follow up and ask if we wanted more food, drinks or desert. The sides dishes were flavorful and good portion sizes. We ordered the BBQ Combo for 2-3 people but it fed 4.5 of us. Overall, good food and we would come back.

Google
JCD Korean BBQ is amazing! We got their BBQ Combo B, which has beef brisket, pork belly, pork bulgogi and soy bean paste soup. Delicious! We also added spicy pork, beef steak cubes and beef short ribs. My favorites were the cubes and short ribs but everything was so good.

My first time coming here and I am definitely coming back! The food was delicious and fresh. Everything had such a great balance nothing had too much of any one flavor (salty, sweet, spicy, etc). I can't wait to come back to try other parts of the menu, plus I have dinner for tomorrow.

We got the bbq set B for two, seafood pancake, and sweet potato fries. Meat quality was great, the server laid the first round on the grill for us, and the vent did a great job of keeping the place less smoky than most places. Seafood pancake was thick and crispy, one of the best I’ve had. A little pricier with a check total of $120++, but we were stuff and satisfied, and I would go back again. Place is packed so clearly it’s a winner for most.

Google
Certainly a great KBBQ joint! Love the variety they offer with such a fun experience! We ordered for 5 people - the Combo B which included beef brisket, pork belly and pork bulgogi - an addition we ordered 3 more meat platter, the LA Galbi (short ribs), marinated beef cubes, and the beef bulgogi. Certainly all of this was delicious, although I wasn’t a big fan of the pork belly. Might need to try it again. I’d recommend to come here with a larger group starting 3-4 so you can try everything but certainly you can do 2!

All of my close friends and I went here for a special birthday celebration. It was the perfect spot to eat and have a good time. The restaurant was kind enough to make a reservation for 12 of us on a Sunday. Many of my friends have newborns or young kids, and the restaurant was very accommodating for the whole family. I really appreciate that. The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday. I would highly recommend reservations if you decide to go. Also, I would recommend carpooling as the parking lot is shared with many other businesses. Like the Bobba tea joint that we went to afterward that had a line out the door. The food and service here were top-notch. I would say that the quality as well as quantity of meat they serve here were excellent. The portions were generous, and the cuts were of a higher end. You could tell based on the marbling and thickness. The flavors also were superior to many of the other all - you- can eat Kbbq places around town. I have eaten at many of them, and JCD sits at or near the top. Overall, if you are ever craving Kbbq and are in the Beaverton area, make sure to stop by and try JCD.

Google
Food is delicious. We didn't try the Korean bbq style. It looked good from other tables. The aroma isn't overwhelming like some other Korean BBQ places. Not filled with smoke, etc.

Yelp
In from out of town and wanted Korean BBQ. This was one of the few places that was open on Sunday and I'm so glad we went. The ambiance is a bit "warehouse" with exposed floors, ceilings and minimal decor so it can get really loud in there. But the food was worth it. We preferred far too much food but knew we would be taking lefts overs with us and this way we got to try several different dishes. The veggie pancake was a table favorite (better than the kimchi pancake) and we all enjoyed the meat option that fed 2-3 ppl. It was plenty of food. The owners and staff were also friendly and that added to the overall experience. All the extra food kept well and reheated for tasty left overs the next day. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
This was a fun place. Large space in a small shopping plaza in Beaverton. Specializing in Korean BBQ (you cook yourself at your table), but also many dishes that come prepared - really depends on what you are looking for. There was a large assortment of complementary appetizers with pickled radish, kimchi, fish cake and greens. We started with the seafood pancake which was excellent and packed with an assortment of seafood. I would definitely order this again. We wanted to try out the BBQ experience. All the tables have their own grill and vent hood. Very nicely designed. The staff turn on the grill, warm it up, and pour on a bunch of meat to get you started. There are a few options of pork/beef. If you do a combo ($85 for a 4 person portion of mixed meats - plenty of meat!), then you have plenty to grill. There are also some plates of garlic and jalapeno for grilling plus some sauces and salt/pepper for dipping. A family-style tofu soup comes with it. There are a number of other traditional Korean dishes that are cooked in the kitchen. They have various Korean beers to try along with an assortment of other drinks. K-pop plays in the background. Prices were reasonable. It was a little busy when we were there and I think service took a little hit because of that. We had to reach out to staff for some take-out boxes and just went up to the counter to pay our bill since we were waiting for a while. I would return and probably would get the seafood pancake and some kitchen-made dishes, but enjoyed the BBQ experience!

Yelp
We've been coming to JCD for a very long time , and we're so happy when they finally opened the BBQ spot a few doors down . It's spacious , and very clean and airy inside . HOWEVER, it's a double-edged sword for them I believe. First time we came several weeks ago we had the bbq, which was a little more pricey but excellent meat. Service was a tad slow , but ok. Tonight however , Saturday at 9:45 and we're still waiting for our order , no banchan, and we would still probably be waiting to order if we hadn't push the summons button. They seem to be over staffed on bussers, but no servers to take orders or bring food. There's always been a man who never says anything overlooking the restaurant with a scowl. We did finally receive our food, snot at the same time but it came and was great. Now , waiting and waiting for the check Sigh, we will be back, but come on, please have more service staff

Yelp
Had dinner at JCD today and everything tasted amazing, the makguksu was extra cold today perfect for this upcoming hot weather!

Yelp
It's been a long time since I visited a Korean restaurant. My buddies and I visited JCD Korean BBQ place last night. This place is quite big and has good capacity to hold lots of people at one time. The place has a tabletop grill for BBQ and for a hotpot. We started with shoju and beers with appetizers like Spicy Ttaekbokki, coconut shrimps and kimchi pancake. It was delicious. The banchan was a good starter too. We also ordered beef Bibimbap, japchae noodles with beef and fishcake, spicy pork bulgogi and grilled butterflied mackerel. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to spend some leisure time with friends and family over some beers and shoju with amazing food. I am going back for some more.

Jason O.

Yelp
The quality of the meats and banchan are exceptional. Large portions of some sides mean you'll likely need to-go boxes, especially if you are also ordering one of their combos. But what stood out most for me is their blood sausage. It is house made and portioned for at least three to four people. The quality is absolutely top notch! Highly recommended

Yelp
I am always trying to find a great Korean spot and I think I found the one! JCD is in a plaza but parking spots are limited with the other businesses in the area so I recommend coming during off peak hours. I've been here a couple of times now and each time it's packed and people are waiting to be seated/take things to go. It is a small space so be sure to come extra early if you're in a group larger than 4 people. My usual items to order are the ttbeokki, spicy pork, and pajeon. The three have great flavors and portion sizes that can easily be shared. I enjoy the sauce on the ttbeokki that is on the thicker side which allows the sauce to hold on the chewy rice cakes. The spicy pork is a great protein to get and pair with white rice (yum!) a little oily though. The pajeon is always sooo crispy and the sauce to dip it in is light. I've also tried the black bean noodles and pork broth soup/sundae and those are also great items to try that are not usual items you see on all Korean menus. Service here is friendly and quick to bring any additional banchan that we might have finished. Banchan options are so so but overall really solid with the meal.

Yelp
JCD moved to a new location in the same plaza. We came at 6pm on Sunday night hoping to beat the crowd but there was already lots of people waiting by the door. We waited about 15 minutes to get seated. There are lots of indoor seating so the wait went by quickly. We ordered the cheesy chicken buldak, seafood pancake, spicy squid stir fry, and buddae jjigae. Everything was so delicious. JCD is my favorite Korean restaurant so I was so excited when I found out they expanded. The gold dishes they used for the banchan add a very classy touch. I will definitely be back again and again (will have to try the Korean bbq next time)! Their host was very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that the parking lot is always full (because they are so popular) so be prepared to park in nearby lots!

Grace M.

Yelp
My friends and I went IN on this meal. It's a small family run joint so you have to be a little patient, but it was worth it! The seafood pancake was sooo good and crispy with lots of flavor. The soondubu was piping hot and hit. The. Spot. Unfortunately, the galbi meat was a little chewy and tteokbokki was slightly too sweet for my taste but both were still good and maybe just a preference thing. We still devoured everything and were very satisfied all around. The inside is themed like street food stalls in Korea which adds to this cozy late night feel. Will definitely come again. And the man running the front is just a charm!

Jennifer O.

Yelp
This place just reopened and added a KBBQ grill to their menu and I really like that. It is not AYCE KBBQ but it's fairly good price if split amongst others. The interior and ambiance of this place is great for a large group. I also like that they are open later now.

Johnny N.

Yelp
time to celebrate the opening of the newly remodeled and relocated JCD! The new location is in the same shopping plaza but moved toward the corner lot. Inside has changed, multiple large tables and booths with invidual grill tabletops and vents. Same family owned with more staff. Service was friendly and got to our large party with minimal wait. There's also a convenient button to tap when you're ready to order. The food menu is extensive with lots of the previous menu transferred over. Our group ordered prepared entrees instead of bbq'ing ourselves. The galbi was so delicious (recommend ordering a dish for every two people since they disappear quickly ). Chicken bulgogi, dolsot bimbmbap, seafood pancake, japchae, tteokbokki... we had a small feast assembled. The food coma was worth the effort. There's a nice new bar area with LED lights to create a party atmosphere. Love the new spot with all the spacious tables and overall better ambiance. The old location was smaller and packed with customers. Well the new one is packed too but at least there's more space. Best Korean food in town, try JCD! *soups are excellent also but we didn't order this time.

Yelp
A couple pre requisites for my review. I've been eating at JCD for years. They recently moved into their new Korean BBQ space next door and this is our first visit to the new space. In the time we've eaten here, we have become friendly with the longtime staff and the owners. It was a small family owned, semi rustic restaurant and while I'm happy for their growth and success, we were a bit disappointed. The new space is huge and loud and feels like a factory. We always order their kimchi stew and a meat and some kind of vegetable dish. Tonight we did just kimchi stew and Galbi. The Galbi was as it was at the original JCD but the kimchi stew was so spicy we couldn't eat it. This is a go to dish in Korean food for my family. We likely won't make the trip out here again. Loud environment, lower quality on their food. Kinda sad.

Michael P.

Yelp
8/10 Good service and great space after the remodel. It's a great venue and experience especially if you were to bring visitors for late night bbq. The seafood pancake was the best thing we ordered and was moist and crispy. The corn dog was fine but not the cheesy pull apart level. The naengmyun cold noodles were not too good but that was to be expected at a bbq late at night I suppose. We had a great meal and I recommend JCD. We'll probably try their bbq next time since it's what they've pivoted hard to.

Mia H.

Yelp
Although this place is a bit far from where I live, I still make an effort to go out of my way and visit it as the food is so good and the ambiance is one of my favorites. Depending on when you go, there is likely to be a wait (I've had to wait 10-30 minutes nearly every time I've gone here), as there is limited seating. However, when you are seated service is very fast. I've tried so many things on the menu but my favorites have to be their galbi, cheese corn, and ddeokbokki. Although I'm not a particular fan of these foods, I've noticed JCD is one of the few Korean spots in the area with bossam and jokbal, which I know are big favorites in Korea while drinking--which is another reason why I love this spot so much. In comparison to many other restaurants, this place is open pretty late (12am), so you can come here after a concert or late evening with your friends to enjoy some good food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great friendly staff. I called in to make a last minute reservation for party of 12. They accommodated us and made sure we have everything we ordered. Staff were fun and friendly as they see we were celebrating my daughter's graduation

Tsyria T.

Yelp
One of our go-to late night spots! Discovered it when we were looking for any open restaurant after we flew in from a late flight and I'm so glad we did because it's now one of our go to restaurants when I'm craving Korean food! The wait can be a bit long depending on the time you go, seems to have a constant flow of people. Portion sizes are nice, I especially enjoyed their Bossam, which you can buy in various sizes! It's a lively spot where it seems a lot of college age kids tend to go as well. The restaurant is run by a small team, but hard-working!

paramaed k.

Yelp
feel like i'm in Korea! The portion is huge and valuable. There all are providing a good service.

Naly S.

Yelp
The new location is very spacious and the staff is kind as always. I haven't tried the new KBBQ menu, but the rest of their menu is delicious. Their banchan is consistently good, though I am sad to see they've taken off a few menu items from their old menu to make room for new ones. I loved their Korean fried chicken they used to offer! This place is a favorite we try to go to whenever we're in the area.

Chris J.

Yelp
Great food, steep prices. The spicy pork bulgogi is a long-time favorite here, and their banchan is top notch, fresh and delicious. Huge menu, and very good food.

Kaylin L.

Yelp
Great services and foods!! The owner is very friendly!! Nice vibe and no waiting.!!!!

Linda K.

Yelp
The food was fantastic! Ordered these fried seaweed appetizers. So delicious! Loved the seafood pancake. We tried beef bulgogi and a bimibop (sp)? The service was great and the prices reasonable! The gentleman at the door will greet you and hoped we had a good meal. Loved it! Will be back!

Rona C.

Yelp
My party of 4 put our name down on the waitlist and stood outside to wait. It was maybe a 15-20 min wait since there were a good amount of customers. Someone called out a name from the paper with "4" in it, but didn't bother to call out the name. My bf had to chase him down to make sure he didn't skip us. We got seated near the front, then they cleared a table in the back and had us sit there since there was more room. The inside is quite warm, no AC and outside was 90+ degrees Food: We got a small bossam to share, 2 spicy squid udons, one galbi, and one bulgogi. I only had the first 3 dishes and wow, I absolutely loved them! It was my first time trying bossam, so I didn't know what to expect. All the sauces provided were awesome and it was a nice refreshing snack in the summer heat. The spicy squid udon exceeded my expectations, the sauce had the perfect balance between spicy, sweet, and savory; the onions and squid added the necessary texture change from the udon. I would definitely come back here just for these two dishes. As for the galbi, can't go wrong with it :)

Ben C.

Yelp
Parking lot ~ plus. The interior is quaint & cute. Banchan is just few and not fresh, kimchee is the overly fermented style. Jjajangmyun ~ very, very disappointing. Noodles overdone. Boo. Sauce bland and skimpy. Almost none existent are any vegetables or meat. You can get better jjajangmyun at the Korean grocery store. Sundae ~ again, bland flavor. Noticeable odor means not ordering again. Service minimal, no smiles.

Samuel K.

Yelp
The food was great. But the service was a bit slow and we felt a little neglectged. However, they were nice enough to mention that they were busy so they couldn't be more mindful. They just opened the place as well so it is a little unorganized. I would come back if other places are closed. Not my first choice though on a night out.

Nathaniel J B.

Yelp
Great late nite eats!!! Great mix of dinner entrées and drinking street snacks to even some classic stews, whole chicken and or even steamed pork classics!!! Bring your hunger and thirst and enjoy this delightful strip mall located Korean pub/ restaurant!!! All your favorite sojus plus flavored sojus to boot and hefty selections of Makeogilli or better known as Makkoli!! Small space and widely popular so expect sometimes longer wait times without any rsvp and first come first served

Kaleookalani M.

Yelp
It's rare in today's food service world to receive great food and hospitality. Not here. Fiancée and I shared the 80 dollar combination meat to grill at your own table. It wasn't all you can eat like at K-town, but it still was plenty of food for 2 people. Had the crispy mandoos for an app and all the sides of Kim chee were great. I don't say it very often, but here I will definitely eat again.

Sean R.

Yelp
Had been hearing good things about this late night Korean spot so we made a trip up to Beaverton, particularly for the Soondae (Korean Blood Sausage) and Jokbal (I think they're like steamed pig ankles). Also feel like I should say, it's not a Korean BBQ joint, just regular Korean restaurant. The place itself is small in a tiny strip mall tucked behind a gas station with no signage from the street, almost like they're trying to stay unknown. But when we walked in, most tables were full (about 10ish tables) and they were mostly white ppl, so looks like the word is out. My mother was slightly disappointed with the food quality - the Soondae tasted just ok, like the frozen ones you get at the supermarket. The Jokbal I thought was pretty good but my mother still thought it was a bit subpar compared to the specialty Jokbal places in Korea she would frequent which only serve that. But if you're not a Korean person that eats Korean food for most meals you won't notice at all I promise. They also have a bunch more Korean classics that are maybe more appealing to westerners such as Sundubu (soft tofu soup), Galbi Short Ribs, Beef Bulgogi, Bibimbop that have less disgusting sounding English explanations.

Iris L.

Yelp
come here anytime for comfort food or just if you're craving for korean street food!!! Bossam (pork belly wrap) and spicy squid is 10/10 highly recommended! keeps your belly satisfy and full and have left overs to bring home too! depending on what you order but for 2 people can budget around $30-50. Seafood entrees are more $$ but it is so delicious and soo worth it!

Dennis C.

Yelp
New location is spacious and clean. The dishes were a bit pricey for the portion compared to other korean restaurants. Chicken bulgogi was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would've liked the spicy stir fried squid to be spicer. Service was ok. It took us a while to get our waiter to ask for more side dishes and our check. It wasn't until we left that we realized there was a help button at the far end of the table.

Noel M.

Yelp
JCD BBQ Korean moved to a new and larger place next door with the same owners. New place is spacious and equipped with new ventilation systems at each table. 3 dishes that we ordered were excellent. Our favorite was the spicy squid which we thought was the best that we had in Portland area Korean restaurants. We also loved the spicy pork bulgogi which was char grilled! And the banchan was on point and excellent.

Tammy N.

Yelp
The original dishes are good. Now JCD offers Korean BBQ and more specious restaurant. I tried combo A today and I will order my favorite dishes next time. I like their Korean pancakes, Kalbi, kimchi soup, pork bulgogi, and stir fried squid

Amy Z.

Yelp
We saw this spot last time we were in Beaverton and wanted to try it. The seafood pancake was huge and had a good amount of seafood but as the meal went on it got really heavy. The kalbi was tasty but a little burnt. I loved how I could order a budae jjigae for 1 as that is pretty rare, mostly these are for 2-3 people. It was ok, sausage and spam was good, I wished it had some noodles though. Not sure if we'll be back but it was a good experience. Staff was friendly. This location had maybe around 10 tables so if it gets busy there will be a wait.

Jason T.

Yelp
JCD is back with a new KBBQ restaurant, I've been waiting for new KBBQ options in the Beaverton area and the food did not disappoint. The cuts of meat were really fresh and the banchan (sides) were delicious and complemented the meats really well. Service was unfortunately challenging but they're just getting started with large restaurant, give them your patience, they'll get better fast. The space was also very cool, fun LED lights and everything is so new and clean. Try to beat the dinner rush, it'll be busy for a while!

Kayla M.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service was a bit slow but they were busy so I commend them. Will definitely be back

Carolyn L.

Yelp
This place has a home cooking taste. Not all the dishes are great but a few of them are definitely outstanding. Their food is not as salty. I can eat a lot of them without feeling thirsty afterwards. We're seated promptly when we got there at 5:30. It's probably early for some people for dinner. By the time we leave which is around 6:45, they're getting busy. The waitress is very friendly. Because some of us can't eat spicy food, she's willing to cook them without the hot sauce for us so we can all enjoy their food.

Emma T.

Yelp
The food was ok no complaints. The time of waiting for food to come out might be 15-20 minutes, I think they make it when they get the order so I don't mind waiting. When I'm done eating I need to wait almost 20mins to get the check. I can just ask them, right? Yes! But I wanna see if they come and ask us but even 2-3 staff they walk past our table and make eye contact with us or even look at the table. None of them asked are we done or do we needed something else,...etc. And the store only have my table and another table (so just only 2 tables). They just let us sit there and look at them until we ask for the check. I came to JCD 2 times. 1st time is just the time waiting for food kinda long but I don't mind waiting for food. But 2nd time is the time waiting for food and the service. I get it that we will get tired or slack off sometimes but please if you guys give us a better service that would be excellent.

Lele Y.

Yelp
Oops forgot to add this restaurant during my yelp PDX chain lol TLDR- Sweet staff, opens until 12am, plaza parking, quality food! ----------- 4stars for food 1 star for service I was looking for a restaurant that opens late on a Saturday nite and thankfully came across this restaurant as it's inbetween PDX and Beaverton There were a couple of diners already inside when we sat down at 10pm and it got busier later on Plenty of options~ menu was front and back and also offered larger shareable items like Bossam, Korean Army Stew, and Soondae (Korean blood sausage) Galbi (beef short ribs) - good and you can taste the quality, a tad pricey but galbi is pricey anywhere haha Soondubu (spicy soft tofu soup) - standard but home, hearty and warm. huge piece of tofu which is nice vs it comes broken up for you Ramen (ramen noodle soup) - shin ramyun ramen but with added veggies and gorgeous over easy egg Odeng Udon (udon noodle soup with fish cake) - loved that they gave so many pieces and variety of fish cake. I also appreicate staff added a whole egg to the dish (the placement just right in the center just makes me lol) HongHopTang (mussel soup) - plenty of mussels and a good amount of tofu too, super flavorful and totally hit the spot for a cold evening Shoutout to the staff (Sean, I believe, forgot his name but he mentioned he was college student haha) who was so wholesome and friendly and the Korean woman (I believe is one of the owners) as I saw her tidying up, super hardworking and can tell she really cares about her restaurant Will be back and would recommend if you're looking for late night foods

Jordan B.

Yelp
I love Pochas and had to give JCD Pocha a try. The nice thing about this place is there is a lot of seating. The decor is fun, and the waitstaff are very friendly. The food took a long time to come out, but we did order a lot of items. Unfortunately our coconut shrimp was not cooked completely through. This is where I decided to give a 3 star review. I would have been fine if they remade the dish but instead, they refried the shrimp they sent out, including the one with a bite mark... I was less than impressed by this. The food overall was good. Be prepared to spend some $$$

Ploy N.

Yelp
So so glad they finally opened back for dine-in again. I've been eyeing their menu forever over the pandemic, yearning for their Soondae. And it certainly didn't disappoint. Just like what I've had in LA. The Soodae Guk was full of flavors. All the elements were well-cooked and not gamey at all. We also tried their Jokbal which was also a rare item to come by around here. Again, very well-made. On top of that, their Squid Stirfry was the best we've had in Portland. Flavors were on point. Their banchans screamed quality too. Really nothing to complain about. I like that they focus more on Korean street/drinking food, making them unique from other spots in town. Family-run, super friendly. I'll be spreading the words for sure.

Maurene A.

Yelp
Visiting Portland craving for some Korean food and so glad we found this spot! Such a homey vibe and it felt comforting to eat here. Our server was so sweet and offered great menu recommendations. Our food arrived fairly quickly and everything was delicious! The galbi was our favorite of course!

Charlie T.

Yelp
This place is still a solid place to go to for some good eats and late eats. We needed some food after the Blazers game, and this place was so open. The people working here are super friendly. We ordered some items to share within the group. The Bossam and Galbi were great protien dishes. The Budaejjigae soup had the right spice and went well with the rest of the food.

Taka L.

Yelp
Waited more than an hour for my food. The table next to me come in at the same time and they finish eating and leave LOL. We order BBQ not like some steak or something. $100 for a meal

Kimberly D.

Yelp
My best friend took me and my other best friend for our birthdays! Mr Cho was the first to greet is and took us to our table. through out the night he would check in on us making sure everything was good and would make us laugh. Being there was the best experience ever. The customer service was great. we drove from Salem and I will continue to do the commute to enjoy their yummy food! 10/10 recommend. Thank you Mr Cho for an amazing night.

Kathleen N.

Yelp
On the pricer side compared to other Korean restaurants. Delicious food. Friendly service. Nice option for late night meal.

Annie H.

Yelp
A small little family run restaurant. I've been here twice and each time the service was on the slow side but it's forgiving. I can tell they do their best given the bandwidth. The banchans are so good here. I've had the rabboki, black bean noodles, bossam, blood sausage, and more. I will say, the dishes either are a hit or a big miss. The bossam is really delicious. The blood sausage might've been the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. Both the taste and texture were not it for me. I'd say this place is worth trying but just keep in mind that it might be a bit of a wait.

Yelp
Yess! They are back! They have renamed it to JCD Pocha. They renovated it a bit inside. The menu now includes Korean street snacks. Vibe: 3/5 Taste: 5/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Service: 3/5

Yelp
Food is great! I got the Udon with Fish Cake and the broth was VERY flavorful but sadly very sweet (as sweet as sugar water) which made it hard to eat after a while. I still highly recommend trying it because it's one of the best soups I've tried. We also ordered Seafood Ramen which was a 3.5 out of 5. Our meal came with sides which was a nice unexpected addition and they were all DELICIOUS (potatoes, sweet salad, coleslaw, kimchi, fish cake). The place was full of people, meaning that it's a local fav. We were immediately seated but I saw some people having to wait just 5-10 mins for a table since it's a smaller restaurant.

Yelp
The portions are huge! I tried the kimchi jjigae and it was delicious. My friends bought the bossam, gamjatang, and budae jjigae so I was able to try them all. I'm so used to eating budae jjigae as a large hot pot version for a large group, so it was awesome having it as a single portion. Our server was very attentive to us and sweet. The restaurant feels very homey.

Yelp
We were looking for food near where we were shopping at on a Saturday night and we came across this little hole in the wall. The whole place was really super busy at 10pm. Most of the patrons were Asian, so that was a good sign. There was a help wanted sign in the window so I knew they were short staffed. The waiter was very friendly and personable however we didn't get water or our drinks after I had to ask about them again mid way through the meal. The ban chan was good as well as the kalbi, fried chicken wings and fries. I had a high hopes for this place but for me this place was just average. The udon noodle soup was so sweet -- I could not eat it and had to have my hubby eat it.

Yelp
JCD just revamped and rebranded their menu! Their bulgogi always hits the spot and this time I got to try their bossam! It wasn't the best I've had but it definitely satisfies my Korean food craving! I really like this place for their banchan and other Korean staples like bulgogi and bimbimbap!
