"Jeh O might be known for her Mama Noodles Tom Yum, but her menu contains numerous other top-notch dishes. Many, including her delicious fried tofu with crispy garlic, boiled rice with duck, and signature crispy pork, are popular Thai favourites. Though the staff only speaks Thai, there’s an English picture menu for non-Thai speakers. Outside the shop, an eager crowd waits up to two hours for tables; to get in faster, arrive just before opening or near closing." - Michelin Inspector

Nashville hot chicken, Texas barbecue, and tom yum soup head to Resorts World | Eater Vegas

"A Bangkok eatery awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand and famed for its 'mama' noodles tom yum; the spot is popular enough that diners can expect long waits—sometimes up to two hours—for their number to be called." - Susan Stapleton

Jeh O Chula Banthatthong ร้านเจ๊โอว definitely lives up to the hype! The famous Mama noodle hotpot is packed with flavor – rich, spicy, and loaded with ingredients like seafood, pork, and egg. It’s the perfect comfort dish, especially for sharing. The menu also has plenty of great Thai dishes to try, and everything is cooked with bold, authentic flavors. It can get quite busy, especially at night, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. A must-visit spot if you’re exploring the Banthat Thong food street! 🍜🔥

As an experience, ordering a bowl of tom yum loaded with everything — from seafood to crispy pork and instant noodles — is fun and definitely worth trying. The broth itself is tasty, but far from the best tom yum I’ve had. We waited about two hours, but the online queue system makes it easy to book ahead and explore the neighborhood while you wait. If I had to stand in line for two hours in front of the shop, I’d probably be disappointed expecting the best tom yum of my life. The shrimp omelette was amazing - I’d definitely consider ordering it for takeout when I’m in the area again.

Jeh O Chula is absolutely worth the hype, but be prepared to wait. We waited for around 90 minutes, so I highly recommend downloading the QueQ app in advance to manage the queue more efficiently. The star of the meal was the Tom Yum Mama. It was the bomb! Bold, rich, and intensely flavorful, it genuinely changed the way I think about Tom Yum, in the best possible way. Deeply comforting yet exciting, it’s unlike any Tom Yum I’ve had before. If you’re not into very spicy food, be sure to ask the staff to make it less spicy. The crispy pork belly was also very good. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and a great complement to the noodles. Despite the long wait, we did not regret waiting for our table. Jeh O delivers on flavor and experience, and it’s a must-try if you’re serious about Bangkok street food.

They say there’s a long line to eat here. I arrived 30 minutes after opening, so there wasn’t a line yet. I sat down and ordered resto favorite menu. It was tasty, but not great. Then I bought lapciong in front of the shop. After finishing my meal and walking around, when I passed by, there was indeed a long line and I had to queue via the app. Happy queuing and eating, okay?

It's jumpacked with crowd as it is a famous Michelin-recognized restaurant with their Mama Tom yum. There is a queue and you need to download the app and reserve online. they provide free wifi connection. The soup was good but I'd prefer a different type of noodle used as it seemed that they just used instant packed noodles. enjoyed their shrimp cake. I think I'll still go back next time and try different dishes. they have alot in their menu.

Visited in the afternoon and there was almost no waiting time, thanks to the QueQ app. Food came out fast, and everything was clean. The Tom Yum with minced meat pork meatballs were delicious! 😍 Very zesty, full of flavour, spicy but not too spicy. I’m sure you can get Tom Yum for much cheaper in Bangkok, however I do feel Jeh O Chula adds an extra touch with their toppings and all the side dishes were really good too, so it’s definitely worth the money and your time! 🤗

I came by Monday around 6 p.m. and had to wait in a 40-person queue. The total waiting time was one hour. You will need to install an app to queue, but you can stroll around in the Banthat Thong area while waiting. There are plenty of food stalls and a cute street to see. All the dishes are really amazing. This place is well known for the Tom Yum and Salmon Salad, definitely a must-try 😋 Wonton is also amazing, really crispy and with a nice filling. I also tried another dish like pork jowl and it was still tasty. They don’t accept cards, only Thai QR codes and cash, so make sure to prepare in advance.

The place is super hype and people will queue for hours! There are two options for queuing: Use the QueQ app (recommended for faster process) Or come directly to the restaurant. We used the app and only waited about 10 minutes in front of the restaurant. What we ordered: 1. Roasted Pork 🐖 – 4/5 Good, but tastes similar to what you find at the night market. 2. Mama Noodle 🍜 (Roasted Pork & Seafood) – 4/5 This is the specialty here. Toppings are generous (prawn, squid). Noodles are too thin for my taste. If you can eat spicy, go for it! Otherwise, the sourness dominates. 3. Salmon Salad 🐟🥗– 4/5 Good, but again similar to night market quality. 💡 Tip: For roasted pork and salmon, the night market is better value – same quality, cheaper price, and bigger portion.
