The menu includes Southern dishes like lump crab dip, chicken andouille gumbo, shrimp and grits, and fried fish on Fridays. The facility has a brewing capacity of 3,000 barrels a year and offers seating with views of the brewing process. Beers are available on tap and in 22 ounce bottles." - Beth McKibben

Pleasant brewery! The location itself is very nice including the surrounding area. I’ve been to the Woodstock location before so knew what to expect beer-wise. Everything is solid for its style; had the kölsch and hazy IPA this time. My bill was almost $19 for two beers and that’s before tip, so this location is a bit one and done for me as I drove out of my way to check it out. Staff are friendly and attentive and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, solid brewery in a nice space, but expect to pay a bit more.

Had a great time! Good food, perfect location and Amazon ambience. Visited this place for first time on Sunday afternoon. Tried a flight, and loved the Moon People and Hop Dang. Fried Pickles, fries, tender and wings! Loved it!! It would have been a 4.5 star at-least, but due to service. I’m sticking with 3. Had to remind multiple times for my wife’s mocktail, spoons for us, napkin to clean our hands, ketchup etc. I’m not sure if server was busy or keep on forgetting that we asked for Water and Stuff! Haha.

Google
The raw oysters here were amazing. They come with some sort of jalapeno ice chip mix that is amazing (frozen version was not available at the Woodstock location). Great selection of beers on tap, as well as canned beer. This place also distills its own spirits. Two story restaurant with apple seating. The second floor is roof top space.

First timer .. PROs- good brew , location CONs- service could be better , no food after 9 I think . Dropped in this place after some recommendations from my friend . Nice location. Right in heart of Alpharetta . Nice indoor seating : they also have rooftop seating . Was cold today and we preferred indoor seating . The local brews were really good . Loved the hazy IPA that they gave . Cost was slightly higher than the breweries in New England and NJ . Service could have been better . Costed about 32 $ for 3 cups of beer . Slightly expensive IMO . No food since we dropped in after 9 pm. They could atleast have had simple food items / chips etc but they didn’t sell anything . Was tough to sip the beer without anything on the sides . Liked it overall but could have been much better .. 4 stars ⭐️

Google
This place was great! The atmosphere is adorable and they have a great selection of beer, cocktails and food to choose from. The best part though? The saltines. They give saltines with oysters and they were genuinely the best saltines my friend and I had ever had. They’re home made and we loved them so much, they let us buy two orders of them! The service was impeccable and our server was great! Definelty would recommend going here, and make sure to get some saltines!

Google
Awesome spot to grab a beer and a bite. They’ve got a good supply of beers and all I had were great. I especially liked the Kolsch and the nitro brown ale. Their charcuterie board was also very good. Service was also very good.

Google
We went to Jekyll Brewing last night, and we had a great time! The top floor has a rooftop seating area, outside and in. The beer selection is great. All the different brews we tasted were fantastic. My personal favorite was the pineapple habanero IPA. Not only did the beers hit the spot, the food was delicious, too. The bison-wagu beef smash burger and the fries is what I highly recommend. I'll be back!

Google
Loved the place. Best beer in town. Try their pineapple habanero and you'll fall in love with it. I'm vegetarian so I tried their quinoa falafel and it was awesome. Please he's very lively. Try the rooftop and you'll fall in love with Alpharetta.

Yelp
New to the area and really enjoyed this place. Had the IPA and will definitely come back. Parking was a little challenging and didn't get a chance to try the food but will have to next time.

Yelp
Some may say that this is unfair, as I am not rating the beer from the brewery, but if it's on the menu, you need to stand behind it. We had an amazing dinner and then decided to walk around to peek in closed stores. We passed Jekyll and decided to grab a drink. Being gluten free, I ordered a bourbon mule and was asked if I would like their own batch that they make...well sure, why not?! Yah, not. We actually thought they maybe forgot the bourbon, but they insisted it was there, so we ordered a shot to add, split between the 2 of our drinks. Zero flavor straight out of the shot glass, just a tad of a burn at the end. So while the deck was chill and ok, same for the server, their home spirits might be something to stay away from.

Yelp
Visited for a work event on a Monday evening. Everything from the beer to the food to the service was adequate. No standout brews and the food, when it finally came, was ok. Even for a group that was not very large they quickly ran out of beer glasses. Plastic cups don't cut it.

Yelp
Located just above Central City Tavern, Jekyll Brewing is an awesome spot to grab a meal, a local beer/drink, or even a juice flight like I enjoyed! They have an awesome rooftop porch area with plenty of seating and views of downtown Alpharetta, and the bar area is actually made out of an old metal airstream which is very cool and unique. The juice flight was SO refreshing and just what I needed. It includes all four juices - the mango tango, beet it, yin & yang, and the pineapple twist. The mango was probably my favorite, but they were all really fresh and tasty. There is a full menu, but it is mostly seafood. They do have some salads, snacks, and handhelds that don't consist of seafood if you are looking for something without shellfish. The menu has actually expanded a lot since they first opened which was nice to see!

Li L.

Yelp
The waiter was tentative. Ambiance was relaxing and spacious. Tables are self seated. The pretzel was yummy! The flight of beer was mediocre. I enjoyed my latte much more. The only issue I had was street parking. It's not easy finding a parking spot for the area.

Yelp
"Warm beer, cold women" - the Zeitgeist quote is a fact here. Mediocre beer with a mediocrer service. Although a good roof top loc for people watching, but you only get to see one kinda peeps most of the time and that comes with no flavor lol

Yelp
A very cool vibe and upbeat atmosphere at Jekyll Brewing. I'm not sure what all the good reviews are so I did a little research. Most of my Yelp friends wrote their 4 and 5 star reviews 1 to 3 years ago when it first opened. Most of the recent reviews are more in line with what I experienced. All the cocktails, appetizers and entrees were ok but nothing to get excited about. Maybe they've changed chefs and bartenders, idk. The mojito was fresh, natural and very tasty. On the charcuterie board, the meats and cheese were very good but the grapes were just about frozen and uneatable. Our server was very knowledgeable, made some nice recommendations, always kept the water glasses filled and checked on the table quite often. A very good plus. The hamburger seemed a little over charred to me but the middle was still tender. Shrimp roll and chowder were good but looked nothing like the photos on their menu. Lol. The best entrée was the Coastal Chicken. Nice pineapple chutney and very tender and tasty. I'm definitely going to be back. I want to try a few cold ones up on the roof top area. (See photo) It seemed like a very fun time. Plus I want to see if this was a one time experience. I always believe in second chances.

Kelly Y.

Yelp
The service was very mediocre. Most of the staff seemed to congregate towards tables where their friends were dining/hanging out. Couldn't tell if the staff was even being managed at all. They're lucky I have worked in service industry and didn't skimp on the tip (albeit, tip wasn't really elicited with our visit yesterday)

Steve C.

Yelp
The atmosphere and the beer are the stars. The misses are the portion size, being charged to use a credit card and an extra fee for ordering off the kids menu when our daughter was just over 10. Our server had too many tables was not the most pleasant.

John H.

Yelp
Great beers. Great music. Grilled chicken sandwich was really good. Service was good as well!

Amy L.

Yelp
I came here a few nights ago, the service was decent beside the waiter only giving us one menu to share. The food was very disappointing. My boyfriend semi-enjoyed his food, he got the shrimp and grits. The grits were slightly undercooked and they used a lot of cheese to try and mask it. The gator bites were over salted and over cooked and we found a fried pickle in our basket meaning we are unsure when the last time they cleaned out the fryer. I got the royal shrimp roll I couldn't finish it due to the taste and the way it made my stomach feel the shrimp was cold so I don't know if the shrimp was cooked to the proper temperature or not and the sauce was atrocious it had cinnamon and pepper seasoning and a weird mayo sauce to it and the texture was awful, and my lemon drop drink was overpowering sour, the beers were probably the only good thing on our table unfortunately. I would not come here again to eat it's unfortunate that the food was not good. It's was also way over priced. We paid over $100 for an insult to dog food.

Joyrina H.

Yelp
Had a meet up for a work event. The place was very nice to gather and mingle but the customer service and food was mediocre. This spot was a recommendation for a great "happy hour" gathering . However they don't have a happy hour menu. It was 8 of us total and we ordered multiple drinks. I did enjoy having different options to try as I'm not really a beer drinker. I did enjoy the Sour Thangs as it's a great option for those who don't drink beer.

Yelp
This place has a beautiful rooftop with a view ! I love the bar decor upstairs and the food is great! Our server was also very attentive. I will definitely be back

Christian E.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant with beach appeal and lots of seating. We sat on the rooftop which was a little crowded but nice. The airstream trailer/bar was cool. I was glad there was bathrooms upstairs & downstairs! Service was good. The blueberry mint lemonade cocktail was delicious & strong (without too much of a mint flavor). The shrimp po' boy was very flavorful although it could of used more shrimp (but maybe we are spoiled from New Orleans) .The seasoning on the fries is delicious! Can't wait to come back & try more options when we have more time.

Yelp
I had seen some great reviews for this place and love the area, had tentatively made a reservation for a large birthday party and stopped in to check it out. While the views were nice was met with very poor service and an incorrect drink order. Personally i don't believe being young is an excuse to be incompetent but this might've proven me wrong.

Dave I.

Yelp
Food was great, place is spacious, beer is okay, but the service was very poor. Our waitress was Miriam, who unfortunately was quite cold and rude. We won't be coming back here.

Scott T.

Yelp
Really nice quality beer. Tasted their Redneck Christmas Stout...just because I like stouts. Settled for their Hop Dang Diggity. Outstanding! Lunch was their Bison-Wagu Beef Smash Burger with HAND CUT fries! Bartender was outgoing and knew his stuff. Nice area of town..Next time I think I will do the roof top as it was a beautiful day! Great experience....HIGHLY recommend!

Chelsea A.

Yelp
If you want a nice rooftop and good beer this is the place to go to. Service was amazing. They were always checking in and providing anything you needed. I prefer wheat beer and this place has more than 1 option which is very rare to find at places like these. The burger was okay because it didn't have any sauce that came with it which I failed to realize when ordering. I would come back here for the beer.

sydney h.

Yelp
I was here for a private work event a couple months ago. Boss ordered a little bit of everything to try and made us wolf down some tasty lemon drops for a toast. For someone who hates pork rinds, they were excellent. The crab dip was just as good. The burger I ordered was a 10/10, just wish I hadn't had to eat it in front of a gaggle of old men I worked with. The waitress coming around was attentive. Great place to have a work hangout.

Joe B.

Yelp
Food was ok but very overpriced. Service was horrible. We had a party of 20 and most of us got wrong orders. Some ate what they didn't order because they were so hungry from the long wait. The rest of us never got their meal. I had the overpriced bourbon on the rocks. They charged me $2 for the rocks. I will never come here again McDonald s would have been a much better choice.

Steven D.

Yelp
The beer was not bad. Nothing amazing but just solid beers. I also ordered a cup of "Gumbo". I would not recommend and glad I only ordered a cup. Not sure what they put on the rice and it's was extremely thick. They used chunks/blocks of chicken....a big no no in Louisiana. That said, I would visit again and would look to order something else.

Yelp
Being a fan of Jekyll over the years (I know, I gave the actual brewery 3 stars, but for different reasons) and seeing that they replaced the old Alpharetta City Hall with a brand new brick building, housing a 2 story Jekyll powerhouse that sells food and beer, I thought it would be a good place to meet up with my best friend for lunch today. It was not crowded, but I decided to get reservations via opentable (gotta rack up those reward points!). We also both lucked out by getting street parking right out front (dont fret, there are decks about 1-200 yards out if you can't find street parking). Just a heads up, face masks are recommended, but not required (although our server kept hers on the whole time, kudos). I had seen pictures of burgers on their menus- they have 2 types, a bison/wagyu smash, and a camper burger. I ordered the smash and a spicy chx sandwich to dine in, and a medium camper to bring home. They offer all sorts of Jekyll brews (which they do have 2 exclusive types brewing ATM), but since I do not drink anymore, I did not get any (dont worry I have tried most of them in the past in my previous life, my favorite being the Southern Juicy Juice, which they do not make anymore). The menu is pretty vast, and they do have a lunch menu, as well as a larger menu. Our server, Joanne (if I spelled that wrong, my apologies) told us they actually tried to focus on being more a low country seafood boil type place, but the burger, has been their hit. More on that in a minute. They have a patio upstairs along with another bar, but it being sunny 90, and humid, we stayed put smack dab in the middle. There were only 2-3 other tables so it didn't feel bad at all. We had our space. The food came out fairly quickly, and I went for the burger first. People, holy shit, I know last week I went to a place (Field Day) and said I was blown away by their burger, well, are you ready for this? I can finally honestly answer what my top 3 burgers in all of metro Atlanta are: Holeman and Finch (Peachtree only), the wagyu smash burger here, and then the big day burger @ Field Day. The burger, holy hell, was zesty, juicy, and everything came together. I have never had flavors on a burger like that without having to add something crazy (like foie gras, truffle, gold or marrow). You can pick a side, I decided to get fries. I can honestly see why people go back to get that, I know I sure as hell will. After eating that, I knew the chicken sandwich had big shoes to fill. While it was pretty tasty, it wasn't as spicy as expected. I did really like the creaminess of the pimento and cole slaw added to it. I managed to eat everything but a few fries. I was needless to say, full. The togo food came (the burger and a fish plate I got for mom). When I got home, both were still warm. My burger, was cooked more like kosher, and while the bacon was thick, it had nothing on the smash burger. Advice, if you want a burger, go for the wagyu/bison smash, not the camper burger. All in all, the visit was pleasant, our server was great, and that burger, oh my. I will definitely have to come back. Burger fans, you do NOT want to miss this. Oh yea, check out their desserts if you have room, I regretted not getting one, but the day is STILL young...

Veronica K.

Yelp
I'm not a big beer person but I still enjoyed my time her at Jekyll Brewing. I was with my friends, group of 5 and they didn't have trouble sitting us! The place was huge. I had the pretzel and it was humongous!! It was warm and soft. Delicious! I'm sure their beers are as well. We will be back if given the chance!

Jacob G.

Yelp
Great food and beer in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta! We had the shrimp and grits, Sourdough Chic'n sammi, and Bavarian pretzel. The shrimp and grits were very good with plenty of flavor and spice! Make sure to try some beers before you choose your favorite - mine was Southern Juice!

Tammi D.

Yelp
We picked up my daughter in the Alpharetta area, so it just made sense to hit the downtown Alpha area for some food. We found this cute spot for some grub. Neither of us are beer fans, in fact my boyfriend doesn't even really drink, but hey, we certainly both appreciate some good food, so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was squeaky clean inside. It wasn't very busy either, so we had our choice of tables. We decided to eat upstairs. I got the salmon bowl which had egg, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and brown rice I believe. I asked for a side of sauce to help add flavor to the meal. It's odd, because it literally has all things I love, yet with that entire combo, the overall taste was somehow missing something, even with the sauce addition. It was very very bland. My boyfriend got the burger, and he said he it was pretty good. My little one (not so little anymore) got the fried macaroni and cheese and some fries, hardly a healthy choice, but that's what she wanted. I tried her mac and cheese, and it was sub par, although to fully disclose I'm not a big fried food fan. But she also wasn't crazy about it. She loved her fries though. The service here was really good. Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of all our needs. I wouldn't necessarily run back here, but I'd say it was a solid choice for an on-the-whim dinner.

Gretel Y.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. I had been wanting to check out the new rooftop, so I was really excited to find that my friend chose this brewery to party! I cannot rave enough about the service. My husband and I were blown away. We stayed for a couple of hours and the staff remained polite, personable, and incredibly helpful throughout the evening! Each person we encountered from the main entrance on the main floor all the way up to the rooftop took a moment to acknowledge us, whether it was a quick "Hi, how are you?" or just a warm smile. Our server was fantastic and handled our fairly big group really well. On to the food. Hubs and I ordered the following: Dozen raw oysters - market price Bison-Wagu Beef Smash Burger $15 (at the time) Chicken-Andouille Gumbo (bowl) $10 Ying & Yang Juice $6 Hubs also ordered a beer, but I don't remember the name. We started with the raw oysters. I must admit, I was a little hesitant to order raw oysters from a brewery, but was not disappointed! They tasted fresh! The burger is a double patty with white american cheese, house pickle, shredded lettuce, comeback sauce, and caramelized onion on a brioche bun. It was thick, juicy, and very tasty! The side of fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The gumbo came with holy trinity, okra, and brown rice. It was rich, creamy, and delicious. The juice was refreshing and had the right amount of sweetness to it. They also had live music that evening. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the beautiful spaces (downstairs and upstairs), the food, and again, the service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The sourdough chicken sandwich here is phenomenal!!! I would like to branch out and order other things on the menu but the chicken sandwich is just too good to pass up. You can order it hot or not - I always get hot because it adds extra flavor and if you're not sensitive to spicy foods, it isn't really spicy. The hot, crispy chicken is sandwiched between two pieces of toasted sourdough bread with pimento cheese and coleslaw. It is so delicious!! I don't normally order chicken sandwiches when I go out to eat but I could write a whole essay on how good and special this one chicken sandwich is (I won't but you get the gist). Aside from that, I have had their oysters which is good too. This place is located in Downtown Alpharetta and features a variety of beers to pair with your meal (or juices/a juice flight if you don't want alcohol but still want something special). There is both indoor and outdoor seating - I highly recommend sitting on the rooftop where there is an airstream converted into bar too. The service is great every time and the atmosphere here is awesome. I look forward to trying more from here!

Yelp
First off, I was a little thrown off by the fact that there are two locations named "Jekyll Brewing" that are fairly close to each other. If you're meeting friends here, be sure to specify "City Center" because I ended up going to Jekyll Brewing, which by the way looks like a very fun brewery to hang out at. But that's for another day. This location has a nice outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, as of this writing, they have not yet been approved by the city to carry heaters outdoors on their patio yet. They did still have a few available, but it was limited due to the aforementioned reason. Thus, on a chilly night, many in our large party were left a bit cold and frigid. They did make an effort to move the heaters around a little, but the heat just didn't carry far enough. Regardless, the food itself was pretty good. We ordered the Bison-Wagyu Beef Smash Burger, which I thought was very good. It had lots of flavor and cooked just right. The bowl of Chicken-Andouille Gumbo was also pretty good. And finally, we ordered the Low Country Pork Piccadillo, which to my surprise the server asked what temperature we wanted it. He also seemed surprised to have to ask me that question, as pork should usually be cooked through. But he said that the system that he was using to enter the order forced him to input it before he could place the order. I believe I asked for Medium Well, and it came out ok. But he said he was new, and he probably hadn't entered that order before. So when I asked what temperature people typically order, he wasn't able to tell me. Overall, the food was good. I did think the items were a little on the pricier side. And I wish they carried more heaters outdoors as it got pretty cold later into the night. Also, parking can be a little difficult as there is no designated parking lot for the restaurant.

Yelp
Met with a party of 12 early on a Saturday night for birthday celebrations. Food was great, however... No wine! And no label liquors. In other words they make everything on site, had to go next-door to get a glass of wine so that was not ideal. Service was great, her name was Cory she was lovely. And immediately asked us if we was OK if she gave a separate checks which I think was really nice. Great burger! They have healthy options as well a lot of bowls with fish quinoa etc.

Curtis D.

Yelp
Good food and atmosphere. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my friend had the teriyaki chicken bowl which looked delicious as well.

Blake M.

Yelp
Came through for some food and beers on a hot day. The service was great and got water and beer immediately. The smash burger was delicious and the beer was legit. The ambiance was good enough and the waiter's beard was epic. I'll definitely head back to this spot next time I'm in town and want some good beer and food.

Tanya P.

Yelp
It use to be much better 2 years ago. Lest two times we came not sure if I want to come back. Smashed burgers got so much thinner No fresh, cilantro, or horseradish for oysters.

Rob D.

Yelp
So I had high hopes. Dropped by today for lunch. It was not as crowded as usual, probably due to the weather (overcast and slightly chilly). We had a nice table outside. Our server was good: attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and pleasant. The reason for the two star review was due to the length of time it took to get a single Chicago hot dog: FOURTY FIVE MINUTES!! Apparently there was only one person in the kitchen. So what, is he only able to work on one meal at a time?? Can he not do more than one thing at a time? I mean a hot dog only requires less than ten minutes on the grill and assemble the Chicago dog maybe 3 - 5 minutes. Just unacceptable to wait 45 minutes for a hot dog. When the manager came over he quickly brushed off our complaint, gave us a cursory apology and made no concessions. It was clear he didn't give a sh!t about our dissatisfaction. To make it even worse, when the hot dog arrived at the table it was COLD. Unbelievable. The manager could have offered up a dessert or even comped with $8 hot dog. Instead he made a nonsensical excuse and walked away. We live one block away and consistently frequent and support downtown restaurants. I will NEVER again step foot in this place. Too many other places in the immediate area that treat their customers better. I'll spend my money elsewhere and I suggest those reading this to do the same. The fact there are ANY stars in this review is due to the server who was not responsible for the kitchen delay and tried to keep us satisfied. DO BETTER JEKYLL BREWING!!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Great location in downtown Alpharetta and a super cool vibe inside. Kind of a beachy theme and a very nice rooftop section with indoor and outdoor seating. Decent menu of food items and an array of beers (of course). Jekyll beers are what I consider to be "getting there". Their staples of southern Juice and Hop Dang Diggity are always a great choice and their experimental hazys are ok. Building and food get a 5, beer 4.

Madalyn J.

Yelp
We came here for the first time last Saturday and had a great time! We had no idea Jekyll was also a distillery and also brewed coffee! were surprised that they served food too, which smelled and looked amazing! We tried Sour Thangs, Moon Peeps, Hop Shan Diggity, and an iced coffee! The ambience downstairs was so nice and we also went to check out the upstairs and rooftop which were awesome! We loved everything and would definitely come back to try more beer, coffees, and the food!

Rachel S.

Yelp
For my sister's birthday in December, we headed on up to @jekyllbrewing for a fun afternoon filled with incredible eats & brews. This was my first time visiting their Alpharetta City Center location and I was so impressed! Plus, they have both rooftop and front porch outdoor seating which helps a lot during Covid times. We ate & drank a lot and enjoyed literally every item we tried. That NEVER happens. If you haven't visited yet, this is your sign to go! What we ate/tried: Bavarian Pretzel, Beer Flight, Steamed Mussels, Royal Shrimp Roll, Holiday Sour, Sourdough Hot Chic'n Sammy, Hard Seltzer Flight, Friday Fried Fish Plate, Lite Bowl, & Roasted Beet Salad.

Kristen T.

Yelp
I still love it here - and it is one of our favorite spots to hang and get out of the house. Our most recent trip was late on a Saturday evening. We spent the day in downtown sitting and indulging and ended our evening here. There is live music Friday's and Saturday's at 9p.m. which we were in time for so it was a nice treat. We really enjoyed the man that was performing. Dim lights and awesome music. It was quite the atmosphere. Great vibes all around, which is what we have come to expect from our friends at Jekyl. This visit was no exception there. This time we ended up with the following: Puffed Pork Rinds ($7) Low Country Crab Dip ($14) Sourdough Chic'n Sammi Hot or Not ($14) Brewers Burger ($16) El Chapo Margarita ($12) The puffed pork rinds are always a MUST. I have said it before and I'll say it again - it is totally a party in your mouth as they continue to pop. Definitely eat them with the hot sauce. This was our first time with the crab dip and I was honestly upset it took so long for us to try it. It is probably one of my favorite things I have had on their menu. It is like a giant crab cake in a bowl with perfect crackers and bread. There is so much crab and it is so flavorful. Just the right amount of creaminess. We absolutely will order it every single time we go back. If you like crab even a little bit - get it! Just do it. The brewers burger was good. While it could have used some more of the bacon jam, it was still flavorful with a nice char. We would order it again. What was disappointing was the chicken sandwich, both orders of fries, and the margarita. The fries were honestly awful. It was our first time trying the fries and I am hoping there was just an issue this time. They were cold, so so greasy, and flavorless. They were not even fried well and did not taste like they seasoned at all (despite the seasoning being visible). It was really shocking. We also ordered the chicken sandwich "hot" and we were brought the regular one I am almost sure. I ended up putting hot sauce on the sandwich which helped, but it was just so bland and the chicken was very dry. There was no where near enough pimento cheese and it just was not a great sandwich. This is one of the items on the menu I have been dying to try so I was definitely disappointed with what we received . We were sat in a booth in the bar area with the bartenders as our servers. They were really busy so by the time they came to check on us we felt it too late to say anything. The margarita was not great. I love spicy margaritas so I was pumped to see this on the menu. I think it is the sour mix they used. It tasted very "here is some tequila and a generous helping of margarita mix". I will stick to beer or hard seltzers next time. The service itself was lovely and super friendly - as usual. We do not mind exercising patience when everyone is busy. Of course, we will be back very soon.

Yelp
Yum - this is now a favorite! The location is fantastic. It is attached to city center, but has a spacious rooftop bar. While I love the Smash Burger (seriously, I love it)... I also love their Sunday brunch. They also have a fun kids menu and a huge pretzel in case the children's menu doesn't immediately satisfy the smaller patrons. I have consistently received good service and I enjoy the view / decor if they are slammed and need a few more moments. The beach vibe will make you feel as if you are on vacation, even if you are only a couple miles from home.

Yelp
Poor experience with Manager Tony. They do not accept vertical state-issued picture ID's even if they are valid (non-expired) and indicate an age over 21. I asked for clarification from our (amazing) waitress, and a manager (Tony) was brought out to explain the policy. Their policy is "Maybe you should just buy another ID..." before scoffing and walking off. The poor waitress looked horrified and scared of her manager's reaction. Waitress (nervously) apologized profusely after he left and explained to us that Tony was brand new. The encounter with Manager Tony was embarrassing for everyone involved. We have been here multiple times to drink this past month and have not had this problem.

Yelp
This place has the best rooftop in downtown Alpharetta. It is new and drinks are served from an Airstream they lifted onto the roof. There is much more room indoors on their multiple levels. The decor feels beachy and is everything feels clean. Being a brewery, their beer selection is great. Their food menu is also on point, with items in different price points. I had the Bison-Wagu burger and it was great. I love both bison and beef so the combo was perfect. Not too dry, but felt lean and healthy. It is probably one of the best burgers I have had! The Comeback sauce was a nice touch and the fries that it came with were pretty good as well. I'll be back!!

Yelp
Here is the thing: besides the one thing I am going to harp on, Jekyll Brewing is a completely serviceable establishment and the vibe is fine. That being said, here is the problem: no free refills on soft drinks. As someone who is not consuming alcohol, one of the cornerstones of the American Dining Experience is soft drinks come with free refills. Thats the reason why people are fine paying $3.50 or whatever for Sprite or Coke or any other soda. However, Jekyll Brewing does 2 things that make this no free refill problem worse; they do not put the price of soft drinks on the menu and they do not put their refill policy anywhere. It wasn't until i had already gotten a second coke that I learned (having to ask) of this problem. I dont blame the waiter for not telling me, because it shouldn't be on him tot tell me. I ended paying around $8 for 2 cokes which would be $3 somewhere else because soft drinks are somehow more expensive at Jekyll with them having no free refills. I dont like complaining about restaurants because the staff work so hard, but the way the business handles refills is absurd. If I knew that a coke was $4ish for just one glass that probably wasnt as big as one I'd get at Taco Mac or somewhere else, If you are going to charge for refills, just put prices of soft drinks on the menu and put your policy on the menu. It aint that hard.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday for Singo. Beyond Horrible. Manager said his name was Brian. Will not return. Would love to hear from the owner about his behavior.

Yelp
We visited Jekyll Brewing on a Sunday afternoon for Restaurant Week and it wasn't very busy. We wanted to seat on their rooftop and they only had another table up there and it was perfect for us. It was quiet and cozy! The restaurant week menu consisted on one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert for $40. You could also add a beer flight for $10 and pair it with each dish. The beer options were Big Creek, 'Merican, 8 bit and redneck Christmas. For appetizers we ordered the B.L.T Deviled Eggs, and the Roasted Oysters Casino which is served with three chili butter and smoked pork belly. It was my first time having deviled eggs so I thought it was kinda weird but in reality they were amazing. The oysters were crispy on the outside but soft and so yummy. Recommend Beer Pairing: 'Merican For entrees we both ordered the Brewery Steak which is a skirt steak topped with onion jam, tostones and chimichurri. It was good just wish it was served with some kind of side since it wasn't enough. Recommend Beer Pairing: 8 Bit For dessert we ordered the key lime bar, and the warm cookie sundae which were both okay. Recommend Beer Pairing: Redneck Christmas In general we had a really cool experience eating here, and pairing the beers with each dish. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
It was decent. I had the wedge salad with a side of ranch and grilled shrimp. If I get it again, I wouldn't get the blue cheese crumbles. But also, the ranch wasn't exceptionally flavorful. We had the lowcountry crab dip and it was piping hot. It had the consistency of a spread but it was pretty tasty. K had fried cod & fries (fish and chips) and a mexican beer, which he didn't finish so I'm guessing he liked it but didn't love it. I got the reservation pretty quickly on Open Table which is always nice. It was freezing outside and they had the heat up way too high. I stripped down to my tank top! We will probably come back to the area and try other places but not sure if this was the place for us. The server was really nice though.

Yelp
Through the thick forest of palm trees, you come upon a tree that's been uprooted and the limbs are twisted into the soft sand below your feet. There are small black bugs scurrying along the waterline where the gentle waves are afraid to come up any further. When you look down the surf line, you notice that there are at least 50 other trees in contorted formations, one reaches to the sky like a skyscraper, the other one next to it fans out into what almost looks like a peacock. Have you been transported to a Martian moonscape? You'd think so, but, no, you're in the most beautifully unique place on earth, Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island on the Georgia coastline. This is the beach vibe that you get when you go to Jekyll Brewing in Alpharetta City Center. Our two-part experience brought us unique food and beer options inspired by the island with an array of tasty treats like a whole shellfish menu, low-country options like pork chops, and even southern staples like pork rinds and a fun take on the charcuterie plate. Let's not forget the bubbly brew, either. Are you ready for some Golden Isles adventure right here in Atlanta? We are! Remember what Jekyll Brewing first started as, a brewery. They have a large array of beers and seltzers to choose from, like the fact that they have two stouts almost permanently on the menu, to IPAs, sours, and everything in between. One of the best beers on their menu is the Tart Vice that's a mellow berliner weiss with a ton of raspberry flavor. It's fruity and refreshing. Also, we must mention that we love their Redneck Christmas Stout! Liz, being a stout drinker loves the minty-cinnamon forward stout that doesn't make you feel like your drinking a meal. Finally, their HARDly Selzer has so many refreshing flavors: blueberry, blackberry, lavender, hibiscus, peach, and more. They top it with crunchy ice and it's the perfect thing for their rooftop airstream patio! Who's ready to eat? Starting with the pork rinds, when they first arrived, they were still popping from the fryer. Perfectly crisp little numbers that were sprinkled with some slightly spicy seasoning and wedges of limes. The best bite is if you dip the rind in the hot sauce and put some of the lime on there. Meaty, crispy, spicy, and a hint of lime. We also enjoyed the charcuterie plate, which was delightful mix of andouille sausage, Tasso, pimento cheese, buttered crackers, and some very tasty pickled vegetables. The best part was the Tasso, a wonderfully tender cut of meat with some great seasoning. If you put together the cracker, a little bit of the pickled vegetable, pimento cheese, and andouille sausage, what a phenomenal little snack. We also bite into some chicken wings. They are mighty meaty with a ton of chicken, slightly spicy sauce, and some delicious flavoring. Dip it in the buttermilk sauce, cool and creamy! One thing about Jekyll Brewing that was unexpected is the wonderful healthier options to their southern fare. The tastiest of those was the lite bowl. Tender and juicy salmon nestled on a bed of ancient grains mixed with a light vinaigrette, avocado, tomato, and the best addition, sweet potato! To make this even healthier skip the tzatziki sauce, it's great even without it. Mix all the ingredients together for a meaty, creamy from the avocado, earthy from the tomato, and hearty from the potatoes bite. Such a balanced and dynamic bowl! We'd recommend you pair it with one of their HARDly seltzer's like the blackberry! When you think southern, pork chops and collard greens always come to mind. Why not combine them? The collards were perfectly cooked and loved that it was more leaf than stem, plus it was seasoned just right with a balance of spice and vinegar. The chop itself was very tender, meaty, smoky, and lightly seasoned. Combine those together, so from the char and perfectly cooked chops to the earthiness and saltiness of the greens with the right amount of hot sauce mixed in, we really enjoyed this dish. Jekyll Island is a utopia of sprawling marshlands and tropical wildlife. Jekyll Brewing brings all the beach and island vibes to Alpharetta. So, grab your large beach hat and take a seat on the patio, you'll be transported to the Golden Isles. Airstream included.

Yelp
Beach vibes bar and restaurant. Came with a friend and we sat on the rooftop bar where it's self-seating. They had a live music performance downstairs and concert views from the rooftop. We had the blueberry mint lemonade and honestly, mine was not strong at all. The wings were fantastic, however. They brew their own beer and my friend tried it, said it was good.

Yelp
I noticed cleaning chemicals left sitting on the counter next to a beverage, which could be a health code violation. Unfortunately, they do not provide good enough service or quality drinks to risk ingesting chemicals.

Yelp
This is a little bit different type of restaurant than I would normally choose to go to, but we went to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a great time. There is plenty of seating here, and the layout is nice. There are two levels to the restaurant and an outside patio. They're also located in a beautiful area recently renovated. The food was really good. At our table we ordered rice and beans, side salad (wish there was a few more dressing options), cheeseburger & fries, grilled and raw oysters, the pork dish, jumbo & variety of drinks. Only the sweet tea and water are free refills. They offer multiple brews, no liquor.
