Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"One of Georgetown’s more under-the-radar breweries has opened an outpost near Green Lake Park. Those strolling near the water can stop off for one of Jellyfish’s popular beers, along with a few hard cider selections, wine, and local spirits. You can also grab a charcuterie plate, house-smoked sausages, or a pretzel from the onsite kitchen. Kids and service animals are welcome, and there’s some outdoor seating." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

The Seattle Christmas Market Is Coming Back to Seattle Center in 2024 | Eater Seattle

"A new Jellyfish Brewing taproom has opened at 6808 East Green Lake Way, across the street from the Green Lake Play Field, bringing the brewery's Georgetown vibes north; the taproom will feature 15 beers and a charcuterie- and pretzel-centric food menu, and kids and dogs are welcome." - Harry Cheadle

Google
Beer, food, and service are all fantastic. Great place to watch games and hangout with friends. Wide variety of card and board games available to use while visiting. Bartenders are friendly and accommodating. Pets are welcome on the patio

This Jellyfish brewery location is quite different vibes-wise than their other further south location. This Greenlake spot is much more family oriented, with easy parking in the area and tons of seating. Beers were solid and views from the brewery were impressive.

Google
Great spot just across the street from the lake. Had really good service from the bartender—offered samples, attentive when drinks getting low, friendly. There’s one side of the pub that is kid friendly with games. The other side is great for those without kids in tow, including a nice outdoor space during nice weather. They advertise Sunday brunch but haven’t tried that yet.

Google
Great beer, good prices, okay food, good for families. My kids love hanging out here and playing the games like connect 4. The beer is really good, my favorite is the Beer Salad which I thought was a gimmick but turns out it’s so refreshing, I love it. The cheese curds taste wonderful I just wish there were more in an order. The rest of the food tastes good but portions are small and it’s nothing special, at least the prices are reasonable. I also enjoy running into friends and neighbors here which happens frequently

Google
Me and the wife visited here today and had some cracking beers such as the 'Illegal Left' Hefeweizen and 'Smack' IPA. The food was well suited to the beer and we had two plates of the cheese curds they were so moreish. Brilliant service from the lady behind the bar, who was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Lovely clean environment, especially the toilets. We'll be back 🍺👍

The Jellyfish Brewing Company at Greenlake is at a very nice location. Located off one of the entrances to the park, it is very convenient to stop by here after a nice walk in the evening. The restaurant is very casual and plenty of seating and board games. Service was very nice and welcoming. However, this place should stay a brewery. The food was unappetizing. We ordered the burger and chicken tenders. The burger was a basic cheese burger loaded with American cheese which tasted like those craft singles almost like plastic texture. Honestly could've just went to a Dick's drive in for a better deal and better burger. The chicken tenders relied too much on the breading which did have a nice texture, but the chicken was just mush. The beer we had couldn't save this sorry chicken. If you go here, stick to the drinks.

Google
Loved it. Couldn't ask for a better people watching spot in the lake. Beautiful sunset view. We got a pretzel and some cheese curds. The pretzel was delicious, soft and salty and buttery exactly like a hot pretzel should be coming from someone who lived in Philadelphia.

Google
The Sunday brunch here is delicious, especially the Eggs Benedict with ham. The poached egg and buttermilk biscuit is a very rich dish, but the salty ham cuts through that richness nicely. I consistently return for the Eggs Benny, and it's always cooked well. For its quality, flavor, and cost, this is the best brunch by the lake for me. I haven't had a chance to try their beer yet. Cheers !

Yelp
The drinks were good and the food was also pretty decent. It would be great if you could also get fries though. The service was stupendous and it made it a very pleasant experience.

Yelp
Former Taco Guaymas location transformed into a spacious brewery with great sandwiches & plenty of beer! Inside has adult / children section. Pinball machines, board games, plenty of seating. Outside patio has vibe & views of beautiful Greenlake. The Greenlake Grinder sandwich hit the spot. Loaded with meats and a spread with a kick! Cheese curds were light & fluffy. Mushroom baguette was delicious & should be a signature sandwich! Hope they get pizza someday! Service is always friendly & makes everyone in the neighborhood feel welcomed in!

Yelp
I've always felt that Green lake needed a brewery so I am beyond ecstatic that Jellyfish opened up a location here. I am a long time lover of Jellyfish in Georgetown and have been visiting that location for years. I really appreciate that they make some unique beers and always have at least a few things I am dying to taste. I may enjoy sour and fun beers a little more than the average person. On my most recent visit I enjoyed a delicious sour blonde. This location is large with a bar side area, a family friendly area and outside seating as well. Not sure if it is connected to it's own parking garage, but you can find neighborhood parking with some effort. I hope to one day walk the lake and stop off here for a refreshing beer after. If beer is not your thing, unlike many breweries this location also serves hard liquor. They also serve food and have a full kitchen. I had more first experience with pickled grapes. They even have brunch. There are even a handful of pinball games. I've enjoyed the art on the wall on my visits as well.

Yelp
So far so good. Wow! I've never had a mushroom sandwich like this. It's delicious and it came out steaming hot, just like I like it. I'm coming back for sure to try something different. The place is clean, not to loud at 12:55pm. The best part is you can get a $9 sandwich/ smack burger from 11-1pm. Im eating as I type this, and I could eat another...so very good. I wouldn't care if customer service was awful, the sandwich would wash all the negative away. But everyone was very nice. Thank everyone and especially the chef. Ill be back. Plenty of metered parking and non-metered parking one block behind. . . . .

Yelp
Last week I decided to grab a quick brew on a Friday afternoon (~4pm). I walked straight in, no line, no crowds, ordered a beer, and took a seat outside. This was a nice and relaxing place to drop in and I will certainly be coming back and bringing friends next time!

Yelp
So excited to finally check out Jellyfish Brewing at Greenlake! I love going to their Georgetown location, but it's too far for me now, so this new location is perfect! I love a brewery that also has a great food menu! We got the smoked sausage plate, pretzel and halloumi salad. Everything was amazing and tasty! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
The best part of this brewery/restaurant is the convenience of being right off of Greenlake. The beer is normal, nothing to call home about but not shabby either. They do have hot food - standard pub stuff. They have some tables on the patio facing the lake in addition to the indoor seating.

Jessica N.

Yelp
We had tried their beers before and already knew Jellyfish Brewing does amazing beer. We had visited the taproom in Georgetown but this was our first time checking out the Green Lake location which has a full kitchen. The food was very tasty and the service was even better, they were so kind! The atmosphere was chill and relaxing with areas for adults only and a section which allows kiddos. Games available to play onsite and you can buy beer to-go. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great beers, great location. Did not try the food but will the next time we visit. Just what was needed in greenlake!

Yelp
How are there no reviews yet? When I saw the news of a Jellyfish that didn't require an hour+ bus ride, I was excited. When I finally made it in for lunch and a beer, I remained just as delighted. Plenty for vegetarians (those mushrooms!), more than just IPAs. Very nice folks here doing good work. Looking forward to trying the pretzel as well, can't go wrong with a pretzel and a beer. Looks like brunch is also going to be a thing, one more reason to come out and then enjoy a walk around the lake.
