It smells so deliciously sweet when you walk in here. I sampled quite a few flavors while I were there. And though they were pretty tasty, they were all almost sickly sweet. And I love sweets! There usually isn't anything that's just too sweet for me. But this ice cream was, and my waffle cone was also kinda salty. I didn't really like the overall taste & they didn't seem to complement or balance eachother. My boyfriend loved his cones, so he would probably rate this 5 stars, but i'm happy I went with the kids portion instead. All of the tables were also pretty dirty, so we had to dust them off before we sat down. But it was busy inside and all of the staff were working behind the counter. I did really like the fact that the staff were knowledgeable about the flavors and gave suggestions. All of the flavors were unique and there were multiple interesting flavor combinations, but unfortunatly there wasn't anything that I sampled that wowed me. Overall, it was a nice experience but I don't think I'd come back.

Absolutely love coming here for a simple scoop or double scoop on a bad day! Flavors change. Which is good and bad! But definitely gives you an opportunity to try other flavors you wouldn't think of trying. Always friendly staff. Would probably recommend anytime.

Love Jeni's ice cream. It always smells so good in here from the waffle bowls and cones. Love the winter seasonal flavors ''Red Cherries and Goat cheese'' and ''White Chocolate Peppermint.''

Came here on a whim when I was in the area and had a desire for a sweet. The place was absolutley awesome. My kid got a special triple layer cake - lemon bar, brambleberry, and butter cake and i had a special strawberry item. Both items were awesome on taste, texture and price. We will come back. Please note, metal tasting spoons give this place an extra happy note.

Parking here in the evening is absolutely horrendous, and so be prepared to wait! However, walking in, it is clear why it is so packed. You'll see families, couples, or friends just wanting a sweet treat and I love the energy/vibe that comes from that! The girls who served me were absolute sweethearts and they were very kind with ensuring we had enough samples to make an educated choice for what scoop we wanted! The half scoops are very generous and the flavor combos they provided are so fun with some classics. The butter cake is something I wouldn't have expected to like, but surprisingly it was very yummy. However, my absolute favorite is always going to be their coffee flavor. It is so good that I actually brought a pint home!

I came here for some nice refreshing ice cream after a walk on the Heights trail. Tried both the lemon blueberry and dark chocolate ice cream flavors, both of which I liked very much. The blueberry flavor was my favorite, it reminded me of a blueberry pie with added lemon flavor. The line can be long during the hot days of the summer, but I think it's worth it since they have so many unique and creative ice cream flavors to try!

I've been to Jenni's before, and personally am not the biggest fan because I think it's way to sweet, but we were craving sweets, lol. We got there on a Friday night and it was packed! We did not have to wait too long to get our ice cream. I got a cup with two scoops. Ordered the texas cake and boston cream pie. It's a little pricey for ice cream, but a nice little treat. I think it's the perfect amount of ice cream too!

The right weather for ice cream. I was in Montrose area so I swung by for the basic chocolate ice cream. It was good. The place is nice but parking is super limited. Like 2 spaces.

The line can be long because it's Jeni's and the ice cream is just that good. Make sure to try the Brown Butter Almond Brittle if you haven't already.

BEST BY FAR! Ice cream And I have had ice cream in New York, Vegas even Rome and definitely this was THE MOST DELICIOUS ice cream. !! When you walk in there is this amazing smell of waffles and vanilla and it's irresistible! The staff is very friendly and since it was my first time, I asked the nice girl to share with me what were the best sellers, she gave me 3 choices and a sample of each, and OH MY! Two out of those 3 were heavenly delicious!!! The third one of course was good, but the first two with me immediately. The flavors were: Brown Butter Almond Brittle and Brambleberry Crips .

Three words - gooey butter cake! This was my husband and I's favorite flavor and our first time trying Jeni's ice cream. They definitely are innovative when it comes the flavors - very unique and interesting combos. Some flavors were a bit too interesting for me but the gooey butter cake really did the trick! The lavender blueberry and the brambleberry crisp flavors are also good!

Ice cream was delicious. There's a creamery back in Michigan that makes their own flavors as well and Jeni's reminded me of it. Minus one star for the service and the cleanliness- the tables had not been wiped in awhile and there was trash on one of them. We also had to wait in line for over a half hour and it was because they didn't have enough workers to assist customers. If they had had more people I think the line would have gone a lot faster. I do like that they serve little triangles of waffle cone with the flight- it's a nice touch that elevates the experience. All the flavors we tried were amazing for the most part. A couple of my favorites were the wildberry lavender and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, and the gooey butter cake.

This location is usually pretty busy but ice cream is always good. I live far from the heights so I do not get to come to this location very often. Service is good. Inside is small, but the line is quick.

Jen I'd never disappoints! I always go with the gooey butter cake and then another fun flavor. Their chocolate with peanut butter is great, you can always count on them having incredible flavors and their AMAZING handmade waffle cones! Their waffle cones are truly unique and I can't find anywhere with better ones than Jeni's. They're super kind and pretty quick- I appreciate being able to try samples. If it's your birthday, be sure to bring some form of identification cause you can get free Jeni's ;) There's always a line, of course for great ice cream, and seating is limited inside but you can count on there being some outside benches across the streets and this strip to sit down and enjoy some ice cream. Pretty light and fun ambiance, would highly recommend!

Saw a lot of hype for Jeni's so I gave it a go. Highkey regret it as it didn't feel worth to spend so much on ice cream to get a smaller portion than other locations. Why skimp on the scoop? Sure, the atmosphere is nice, the smell of the waffle cone is tasty and the metal sampling spoons are acknowledged. But it's just not enough to justify the price. I've been to other ice cream locations, some that make it fresh, and they are more generous for a lower price. Maybe I'm spoiled by that and not of this location's tax bracket, so. 2 small scoops, in a waffle bowl, for over $8. The flavors I got were delicious, I've forgotten what I've ordered but I think they have solid flavors in general. The small scoops are small. Too small for the price.

I'm just waiting for Jeni's to open in New York! Jeni's is my favorite ice cream of all time. I love it more than any other ice cream I've tried in my life. There's something about it - it's super dense and firm, and as it melts it becomes more milky than frothy (soft, frothy ice cream feels ick to me). My all time favorite ice cream EVER is the seasonal white chocolate peppermint. Truly perfect pink peppermint ice cream that is just the best thing I've ever eaten. My second favorite Jeni's flavor is blackout chocolate cake. My biggest gripe with this location is that they only serve the "Texas sheet cake" which is basically just a less delicious, dairy free version of the blackout. Visit in December while they still have the white chocolate peppermint flavor!

Jeni's is hands down the best ice cream, with the best flavor, the cleanest ice cream shop with a friendly staff! I wish you had shops everywhere. If you are searching for true ice cream with flavor and quality ingredients, search no more! Jeni's is here for you!! Brown butter almond brittle was superb. Buttery, rich, chock full of taste, flavor and texture. I also tried the peanut butter with chocolate flecks; hell yes any hour of the day! Great balance of flavor, salty, sweet with the wonderful flecks of chocolate that make it perfection. I highly recommend this ice cream shop. Everything is 10/10. Wish I lived closer to try every flavor! The 'Sampler' is a 10 scoop tray of their flavors. Full size scoops! How fun is that?! All flavors were consumed with a great big smile and a full tummy with memories to last. Cute area awaits patrons to sit beside the shop on a peaceful street. Highly recommend this ice cream shop!!!

Y'all know I love Jenis. I first had it when I lived in Ohio and am glad that it's expanded. When you walk in you are immediately greeted with the smell of waffle cones being made. It's amazing! The service is quick, they have multiple scoopers and people ringing you up. For the quality of the ice cream and the price you can't beat it. The flavors are unique but still recognizable. You know sometimes you go places and they have flavors like hay or whatever. They have the "standard" where you can get two half scoops of different flavors in a cone or cup which is what I normally get. There are also so many non-dairy options which are always delicious.

Awesome ice cream, this location is smaller than the Montrose location, however same awesome staff & flavors. Super cute vibes and open late. Gotta love this place. It's my new favorite ice cream place.

Always always a great stop. We swung by yesterday for a little sweet treat - two standards (each comes with 2 half scoops of your choice). We got the salted peanut butter with chocolate and the gooey butter cake. Both were outstanding.

Came here on new year's for dessert with some friends. I had no idea this was a chain! It's been on my list to try for a minute (or two). When you enter, you're welcomed with the scent of their homemade waffles. The lines may be long (and got even longer after we got there!), but they move quickly. Workers are friendly, efficient, and patient. After trying a few samples, I ended up getting a split scoop of brown butter almond brittle and dark chocolate in a cup. I love that they include a small piece of the waffle! The dark chocolate was decadent and rich. The almond brittle was full of texture - that crunch really added to the flavor for me. The ice cream is pretty pricey compared to other shops, but it's definitely reflected in the quality and the service they provide.

$21 for 10 scoops of this quality is amazing. I often complain about chains, but Jeni's can do no wrong. The store always smells amazing and although the line is always long (at least on the two occasions I have visited), it is not unpleasant and the service is very good. If there are three or more, I highly recommend the 10 scoop flight.

Okay I'm a serious ice cream junkie and I guess either you like it or you don't. I see a lot of four and five stars but for my personal taste this ice cream just didn't live up to the hype as I expected. Quite sure I won't be returning. Not a slam on Jeni's but I've had other ice cream shops that just blew my socks off ie Flowers & Cream and Cool Cow Creamery. The two stars are for the good customer service and cleanliness of the establishment.

Pleasant service, tidy and quiet atmosphere. Ice cream was delicious. I had the brambleberry crisp, coffee with cream and a pint of honey vanilla bean.

Love Jeni's. They always have amazing flavors. And service always super fast and friendly. Parking is a little tricky in this area of town because it is street parking for the most part. I usually get their standard which can be 2 flavors with a waffle in a cup. Always hits the spot perfectly.

This place is so so yummy. You can smell the waffle cone outside of the door before you come inside. I love the fact that there are gluten-free options because I am gluten-free and a lot of restaurants don't have that the ice cream was a little pricey, but it was delicious when you walk up to the counter you can try as many flavors as you want and they're very very kind about it.

Me and the GF had date night in the heights last week and we stopped here for dessert and WOW, There so were many unique flavors and ALL OF THEM were phenomenal. My girlfriend is already asking me to go back. There's so many things we want to go try. Can't blame her, I wanna go back ASAP

Make sure you try the Brown Butter Almond Brittle. You will love yourself a bit more. The service is fantastic. Always well staffed and friendly. Sample are available. The seating is bright and vibrant. Very colorful. However generally they keep it very cold so in winter it can be a bit uncomfortable inside, in summer it's perfect. I have and will return.

The absolute worst experience EVER! Heard about this place for ice cream and decided to take my son. There was one sweet server but unfortunately we were not able to have him instead we got another one blonde ponytail white male. It was clear that in the moment the environment was more of his own than mine (I was the only biracial person in there ) I asked for a regular ice cream cone and he told me it was three so I kept telling him "the one that's not a waffle the original one". He proceeded to throw all the cones at me and my child. The GM came over to finish serving my child his ice cream who understood me the first time when I asked for a regular cone and had no confusion. The rude server proceeded to the next couple who was the same skin tone as him and greeting them with yes ma'am and yes sir and how are you, etc. Which once again I didn't receive. It was clearly about my race but little did he know I'm biracial. They were not able to give me his name but I will be reaching out on the emails I received. As someone who came from a WHITE womb this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE DISGUSTING DISRESPECTFUL and PITIFUL. Will not be back and will NEVER recommend.

Perfect treat to the end of an exam season! Got the lavender once again (always trying to get something else but it pulls me back every time) and the vegan cold brew flavor

Jeni's is definitely at the top of my ice cream shops. First time at this location. It's only street parking (free) but wasn't hard to find on a Sunday afternoon. The WAFFLE CONES here are great! $18.xx for 2 cones with 2 scoops after tax, but they are pretty big servings. (One cone would've been shareable, but the pregnant lady wanted her own :)) ---------- My go to is GOOEY BUTTER CAKE. I love the chunks in it. COLD BREW WITH COCONUT CREAM - we both got this as we both like coffee and coconut, which you can definitely taste both. It was a bit icier than I like (maybe bc its a sorbet?), but the flavors were good. Texas Sheet Cake - bf got this. It's definitely rich and chocolate-y, but I didn't get it since it's too one-note. Biscuits with the Boss - I love shortbread cookies, but I thought it was too salty. Wildberry lavender - we didn't care for this sample. ---------- I also have liked BROWN BUTTER ALMOND BRITTLE, BRAMBLEBERRY CRISP (that would've been my 2nd choice today if I didn't get cold brew w/ coconut cream), and definitely recommend GOAT CHEESE WITH RED CHERRIES (only seasonal). Sounds weird, but it's good! Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks - I've gotten this before (I think) but wouldn't return. I thought it was too plain (vanilla) with a few chocolate pieces in it.

This ice cream is amazing. We send some mail order as a gift and then went to this store for another pint variety set gift. It's perfect for the person who has everything. They give you a freezer bag with your purchase and if you bring it back on your next trip you get $ off your pints. Y'all. You should go.

I haven't enjoyed ice cream like this in a long time. With every lick of the ice cream and bite of the waffle cone, I felt a little rush of happiness. I ordered the Gooey Butter Bake flavor, and it is easily one of the top contenders for the best ice cream I've ever had (and I've had a LOT)! The inside of the shop is clean and cool, yet the aroma of baked waffles wafting through the air makes it feel warmer and more comfortable than you would think. The ice cream is pricier than most other ice cream shops, but I think it's 100% worth it. After you're done eating, you'll be left with satisfied taste buds but the dissatisfaction that the experience is over.

I can't say enough good things about Jeni's! The ice cream is very creamy and flavorful. I really like the darkest chocolate, bramble berry crisp, and any coffee related flavor they have at the time! Their product is amazing and they keep you on your toes with lots of great seasonal flavors! Also don't hesitate to try their in house made waffle cones! As soon as you walk in you'll smell what I'm talking about.

A month ago, Me and some gym friends wanted a snack after eating some yummy tacos from Torchy's. So, we decided on Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams across the street. Service was good, and their staff were very friendly. My choice of ice cream:I choose 2 scoops with Salted Caramel and BrambleBerry Crisp in a cone bowl. Their ambiance were bright, colorful , and also a clean atmosphere. So, we decided to eat outside, and it's also doggy friendly. We enjoyed our ice cream and adult conversation!

This place was aesthetically pleasing and very easy to find. The staff greeted very nicely and they had a lot of options for non dairy flavors. I was also impressed at how they incorporated the same dairy flavors for non dairy, ensuring You can still get that flavor without breaking diet or cultural practice! One sad thing to learn about is that they still do not allow sampling just yet due to the ongoing pandemic. I think my husband could have made better choices with flavors if he could have sampled a few. My husband likes chocolate, but the one chocolate flavor he chose was way to rich for his taste. Regardless, it was still a fun visit and experience!

The place smells heavenly and sweet when you walk in. The cold brew was my favorite flavor. I loved the little crunchy bits in the brown butter flavor. I wish the darkest chocolate flavor was even darker though. Prices are reasonable and workers are friendly!

Jeni's has a great selection and a great atmosphere. The decir is reminiscent of an neighborhood ice cream shop. The samples are plentiful. I can't wait to try more flavors.

I, Diane Strong, love Jeni's and always have. Never had a problem at any location. I adore the decor and think it looks really "hip" or whatever the kids are saying these days. However, this location was ridiculously stingy. I bought a pint of Jenis at my Whole Foods for about 7 dollars, and it took me two night to finish it. The smallest size at the store was the same price, and maybe 1/6 of the size. I am not kidding. Ruined Diane Strong and Bart Strong's night.

We have heard so much about this place and it lived up to the hype! For 2 people, we tried the blackout chocolate cake, honey vanilla bean, wildberry lavender, and brambleberry crisp. We did their trio flight and added an extra scoop for total of around $9 after tax. This was a better deal than getting 2 standard cones, which would've cost around $12. We LOVED the brambleberry crisp snd the blackout chocolate cake. The brambleberry crisp had a nice texture and balanced sweet and a tiiiny bit sour from the berry. The blackout chocolate cake was incredibly rich, which made us pace ourselves. We found that the brambleberry and the lavender went excellently before the chocolate because the bitterness from the chocolate complemented the sweetness the berries perfectly. During COVID, they currently do not offer indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating right outside their exit door.

We finally made it to Jeni's and so happy we did!! I've had to go dairy free and miss good ice cream. Not that random soy crap at the store, but actually good, enjoyable, creamy ice cream. If you are also dairy free, do yourself a favor and stop at Jeni's! Although there isn't an extensive list of DF options, I'll take what I can and definitely sampled the three DF options they had that day. I went with the coffee flavor, AMAZING!!! if you like coffee that is. And also the caramel pecan sticky buns, So so so good! I also liked the chocolate flavor! Looking forward to our next visit!

Real talk, I don't like ice cream. If I had to choose 1 dessert to remove from the planet - it would be ice cream. Until I tried Jeni's. I didn't want to buy into the hype but I can admit when I'm wrong. I was so wrong. Wildberry Lavender was my first flavor, and I have tried every flavor they've come out with in the past 2 years... so now I have a problem Current favorite flavor is pineapple upside down cake. Fun idea - grab a flight of different flavors, and be grateful we don't have to remove ice cream from the planet!

I'm a Jeni's girl through and through. I first tasted this delectable ice cream (brown butter almond brittle and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks) in Atlanta and was so excited to see Jeni's in Houston. We came cause I just had to introduce this wonderful ice cream to my friends. It was quite busy for 9 PM on a Wednesday. There's plenty of seating inside. The service was good. It was quite loud inside. Parking is such a pain. Probably will go to their other locations but Jenis is yummy!

We had the standards one sweet potato marshmallow crème brûlée with salted peanut butter and then gooey cake batter with cinnamon bun skillet Worth it very creamy and must go back one in #scottsdale

So delicious. I tried my friends flavors and they were so good too! Very cute shop to hang out in. The girl who helped us was very friendly and gave us samples. I had heard that this place was good and it definitely was. The waffle cone is sweet and much better than the standard cone. I will definitely be coming back even though it cost almost $8 for this cone.

Jeni's ice cream is my favorite ice cream place in Houston! The flavors are creative and there's something for everyone! My personal favorites are the brambleberry crisp and darkest chocolate. Their ice cream is the perfect texture and the waffle cone is also perfectly buttery and crispy! The customer service is always perfect as well. Couldn't recommend enough!

I love when restaurants take the time to be intentional with the food that they offered me. I got to watch as they made the homemade waffle bowls and cones. It was my first time coming to this place so I asked the worker to walk me through the process of making my order. She was super helpful and sweet and gave me all the samples that I needed in order to come to my decision! I ended up getting the trio with the first flavor being milkiest chocolate, the second flavor being the gooey ice cream, and the third flavor was cookies and cream. The cookies and cream was the only thing that I did not try- and I should've. I honestly did not like it I was expecting something along the lines of the blue bell cookies and cream, however it had white chocolate in it and regular chocolate but I didn't taste any of the cookies. Other than that the other two flavors blew my mind away I absolutely loved it. It came with a waffle wedge that I found very soft and crunchy at the same time. there was not a lot of seating on the inside so I opted to sit outside where the view was amazing. There were a lot of families out enjoying themselves, and the breeze was amazing I would most definitely go back!

OBSESSED with this place. i'm so excited to go back tonight that i wanted to review right now lol. darkest chocolate and texas sheet cake were amazing!!!!! the pink champ drink is also great too - i love that it's not very sweet and has lots of natural flavors. the employees are super nice as well!!
