"Rolling into town from Columbus, Ohio, Jeni’s has moved into LA in a big way, with shops in Los Feliz, Larchmont, Calabasas, and Playa Vista. Narrowing down the huge choice of flavors can be more than a little overwhelming, but we’re partial to the brambleberry crisp and the darkest chocolate. You can usually try some flavors they’re testing out, if you like feeling like an ice cream lab rat. Which seems like the best kind of lab rat." - Jess Basser Sanders, Brant Cox, Nikko Duren, Garrett Snyder, Sylvio Martins

Went here for dessert after grabbing sushi with a friend at a nearby restaurant! First time here and I was looking for something light, but not too sweet and let me tell you this ice cream is just that. Very smooth and not super sweet (which I am often in the mood for) but this was the right choice to finish off the evening. Stop here if you get a chance! It seems like a very popular place so I know they do good business!

Been wanting to try Jenis for long time and finally visited on a trip to Santa Monica. The staff was really friendly and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, I ended up ordering Gooey Butter Cake, Chocolate, and Coffee. Butter cake was by far the best and I was a bit underwhelmed by the rest. Flavors were too almost too subtle and for the price… the scoops are really small. I’d come back if I was nearby but there are better options for ice cream for the price point!

Love this new little ice cream shop I found walking! Their flavors are so unique and different and they did not disappoint! 10/10 Great service too the ladies that took care of us welcomed us in and let us try some samples! We had the Brambleberry and their most popular flavor: Brown Butter Almond Brittle! 10/10 (Coffee not included/ it was from Groundwork’s down the street) Parking located where ever you find it 😂

They had some interesting flavors like bagel which I enjoyed trying. I ultimately went with my go to chocolate and a salted peanut butter which were both great and I liked the waffle cone piece it came with. They also had some vegan options for the vegan people in my group. Would recommend this place!

Stepped into Jeni’s randomly and was amazed by number of flavors they had. Tried a few and ended up with Brambleberry crisp, which was so unique and not too sweet, and brown butter almond brittle which was sweet and made it real ice cream. Super clean restrooms as well. I would def come again.

Now I know. I didn’t know before, and I thought I knew Venice. This gem of an ice cream parlor has some of the tastiest dairy and non-dairy organic treats. The interiors make you feel almost as good as the ice cream does. They let you sample any of the flavors, and they give you a real spoon to do so. That makes a difference. You can laugh, but that means you just don’t know. Served with the option of a wafer cone slice - if you’re unafraid of gluten, go fo it. The crunch is like the cherry on top of the goodness in your hands. I got their rainbow sorbet, and one scoop was one big scoop :)

Without doubt my favourite ice cream in LA. I know it’s a chain and I know it’s not a native LA brand but Jenis absolutely slays the competition. The flavours here are top dog! I could eat an entire gallon of the brown butter almond brittle. Their vegan frosé flavour was also mind blowing! I honestly don’t know why people queue for salt and straw when this place is round the corner. They’re SO much better. Also service staff are always super helpful and smiley. We took three scoops home because they had no vegan pints and the guys wrapped everything up with dry ice so it didn’t melt on the walk home. Excellent service!

Pretty good ice cream, but not many flavors available. Two visits within the same week so I supposed it was better than I thought.
