"The menu is focused, the space is enormous, the air is clean and the service is friendly. Start your grill off with steamed egg, corn, cheese and more to cook along the sides, while marbled pork belly or deeply flavorful marinated skirt steak strips sizzle at the center. Bibimbap is a classic rendition, mixing beef seasoned with gochujang, vegetables, sesame, nori and crisp sprouts in a hot stone bowl-so hot that it sears the bottom rice to golden while cooking the raw egg on top." - The MICHELIN Guide

The ambiance is inviting, with a pleasant mix of modernity and comfort. The staff is efficient and attentive, ensuring a smooth grilling experience. The grilling process is done for you, which is great if you're a not-a-cook type like me. The side dishes complement the main course well, adding variety to the meal.It is a reliable choice for a satisfying KBBQ meal. Whether you're dining solo or with a group, the consistent quality of food and service makes it a go-to spot. ♨️🍖👌

We went for the lunch special. Meal comes with traditional complimentary appetizers. The stone pot bibimbap was really delicious -- arrived sizzling and was still steaming hot halfway eaten, leaving divinely crunchy toasted rice at the bottom of the pot.

Delicious food!! More side dishes than usual. Quick service. Clean, well lit but not blinding light. Good background music, not too loud so can have conversation easily without awkward silences.

Jeong Yook used to be Kong Ho Dong Baek Jong and my husband visited before they changed their brand. He told me that the decor and ambiance are really similar and even the menu wasn’t updated much. The menu is various and we love how they served combos, which helped us make decisions. We had their Beef Combo with three different types of meat. The quality was good and the staff was professional with grilling.

This was a great dining experience for me. The food tasted great and the service was spectacular. Though there was a point where the cooking was unattended for a bit or the fire was just too high and it burned one of the meats. Nevertheless it did not diminish my enjoyment of dinner with a few friends. We ordered the premium meats, which was fresh and juicy, and the dry aged ribeye was ok (I think this method of cooking dry aged meat does not give it justice), and we also ordered "lunchbox" where the server will put on a show, vigorously shaking a tin can full of rice and other stuff - fun to watch. Definitely a must go.

So from seeing other reviews, I wasn’t the only one that was chased down just because we were forced to tip around 20%. I used to work as a server at a high end restaurant and never in my life had any of my coworkers (server) nor I chase customers because they tip us below 18%. It is unethical from these servers in this restaurant to be chasing customers just because we haven’t tipped 20% (I tipped around 16%), I know for a fact if I would have chased a customer because of the tips, I would have gotten fired by my manager instantly because it is an unethical practices. The food wasn’t even as good and it was expensive for what you get. Never again am I stepping foot in this place for this terrible malpractice

We had lunch on a Saturday. There were only 3-4 tables. It seemed to me that the servers and I cannot communicate successfully. When I asked “why do the beef tongues have so much fat?” she said something in Korean. When I asked “can you cook my beef medium?” There was no response. As a result, the beef were very tough. And finally, I asked if I can bbq the last beef dish, no response again. All the side dishes were way too sweet in the sauce. Don’t know why there are so many good reviews. Will be careful reading reviews.

First time here and the food was delicious! Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated and when we did everything was already set up on the table, which was fantastic. We ordered the thin sliced beef brisket, two orders of the prime boneless short rib, one marinated prime boneless short rib, and the beef short rib soup. The short rib tasted just like wagyu, nicely marbled and so tender and juicy. The dipping sauce there was so good, you didn't really need the marinated version, although it was slightly sweeter with it. The shirt rib soup was nice and clean, with tender chunks of short rib and some noodles. Good on a cold rainy night. Cheesy corn, steamed egg, all the sides, everything was fresh and really good. Highly recommend and def want to come back here.
