"I was just trying to make tavern-style pizza for my fiance and me as a hobby, but making this pizza turned into an experience — nostalgia for Midwesterners and something new for Portlanders — and it grew quickly from my home kitchen to an Instagram pop-up and now a home inside a Southeast Portland dive bar. I made pizzas every day, tweaking them and asking for feedback; even early on people kept saying, “This is incredible,” but I battled imposter syndrome and insisted I wouldn’t open officially until the pizza was 110 percent dialed in. Moving into the tavern gives me room to scale while keeping the taste and texture I developed at home, though demand is huge (there was over a year-and-a-half wait when I stayed at home doing it)." - Molly J. Some days, you just need a win. Maybe work was a little extra tough. Maybe you heard from your ex and she’s doing great. Maybe you’re just having an unrelated existential crisis. Jerry’s won’t judge you for any of that. Jerry’s is going to make everything better with an extravaganza of fresh, flavorful toppings, delicious melted cheese, sauce with a perfect blend of sweetness and zip, all on a delicious crust. The perfect way to make a rough day good and a good day great. It isn’t hard to see why Jerry’s is a Canoga Park staple. Ordered the Jerry’s Deluxe, Cesar salad, and a slice of cheesecake delivered via Slice app. Everything was phenomenal, from the ordering process, to the delivery, to every bite.

This pizza is similar to a frozen pizza or chuckey cheese type pizza. The dough was pretty bad like a frozen dough and the toppings were very sparse… I have no idea how they have such great reviews. I’ve had better frozen pizzas. The place is dirty. The guy that works there is pretty nice. That’s about it. $48 for two pizzas one extra large, one medium and for some odd reason, they charge you $1.99 service fee even when you pick it up. Crazy!

Best pizzeria in Canoga Park. It is so good but they could use a bigger parking lot. I would recommend something but everything is good! Great place to grab a pitcher eat with the family and watch a sport game. Take some coins for the kids!

I ordered vegitarian pizza & it was really good, vegitables were really fresh & juicy. I like the taste of base(dough) of jerrys pizza. Cheese wasn't too heavy that's good. Restaurant Interior ambience should be improved though.

I just moved here from Texas. Day 2. I wanted some local pizza. I tried this place out. I got a meat lovers to go. They made it right there and I happily waited. Didn't take long and the pizza is pretty damn good. Highly recommend.

Good spot. Came in on a Thursday night and got a medium pepperoni. Loved the pizza, nice cheese pull, I like that the crust isn't too thick so you can really put down some slices. I'm not a sports person but they had two huge tv's with two different games on. When one of them finished an employee was a homie and put Harry Potter on. That's the type of stuff that makes you wanna go back.

Loved it! Great chill place, good service and delicious fresh made to order food. The garden salad was simple, fresh, crisp lettuce, and it came with really good Italian and ranch dressing. Next we had the Hot mozzarella stix with flavorful marinara sauce. And for the main we had the meat lovers medium size pizza which was so fulfilling and delicious so glad we had plenty of leftovers 💜 which tasted great today rebaked in a toaster oven at 450° Edit: ohhhh and the beer was cold and at a really good price They also have options if you go alone combos as cheap as 7.99 from the lunch menu which have a nice variety 😀 I just loved the place lol

I asked the chef for olive oil on my crust and he said they don't have olive oil. What kind of an Italian restaurant or a pizza? however the owner Mo was very delightful and very friendly.

My husband and I have been coming to Jerry's Pizza for over 20 years, and it's still one of our absolute favorite spots. What makes Jerry's even more special is that it's a family-owned business that's been passed down to the next generation. You can feel the pride and care they put into every meal, and it's part of what keeps us coming back after all these years. We always order the same thing -- the Pepper Steak sandwich and the antipasto salad -- and they never disappoint. The Pepper Steak sandwich is packed with flavor, always tender and cooked just right. You have to try the Italian dressing with the Pepper steak. And the antipasto salad - It's fresh, crisp, and loaded with delicious toppings, but the real star is the mozzarella cheese and their homemade Italian dressing. That dressing is so good!!

I'm giving 2 stars today because I ordered pineapple pizza and pizza felt wet at the bottom, did not have any crust. I also ordered garlic cheese bread, zucchini sticks and mozzarella sticks which were good This is my 3rd time eating/ordering here and usually their food is really good but not today. I don't know if their cook changed or the owner but pizza quality went down. It's sad because this one was my most favorite pizza place in my area.

Pizza is great but unfortunately they now only deliver through DoorDash which the process takes so long to get your order. Never had issues prior to the change. Recommend to eat at the location or takeout. Order took 1 hour and 50 minutes to get delivered and of course delivered super cold. Also orders pepperoni on pizza and arrived with no pepperoni.

It's really hit and miss when you don't want green peppers with these folks. We order through GrubHub, put it in the notes. 4/5 times, they either don't read it or don't care. Garlic knots were great last time. This time, meh. Too bad. They're local, and I would like to continue supporting them. I am done with Jerry's.

The pizza from here is one of my favorites. Growing up in Canoga Park for 25 years. I remember having this pizza for the first time in 2004 after a long night of trick or treating. The pizza never misses! Now years later and living farther away whenever we are in the area I try to order one all meat pizza to take home! Service is always quick and straight to the point. Ambiance feels like a New York pizza place. What do you want her you go!

Took a co-worker there for lunch. Took 25 min to get a pepperoni pizza. Side salad was a plate with iceberg lettuce, two micro thin 1/2 slices of tomato and a pound of shredded cheese on top. No A/C. Very run down inside.

Ordered from Jerrys for my sixtieth birthday today, Hawaiian, veggie, and Jerry's special. Also had cheesy garlic rolls, and a regular antipasto salad that we put in a large bowl and tossed the dressing in, plenty of food for 9 people, I won't publish their prices but trust me it's extremely fair and affordable. But the the food is always outstanding. Honestly I'm just a local and love to support local biz. If you need to feed a hungry crowd and don't want to be ripped off for quality tasty food, don't hesitate, order from these guys. If I'm wrong, I'll buy you a pizza. I like my odds

Jerry's is a gem among the many pizza places in the area. What I love is that they load the pizza with the toppings of your choice- no skimpy toppings including the sauce! The veggies are always fresh and the cheese they use is really gooey! How pizza should be!

5 stars! I recently visited Jerry's Pizza after continuously looking for a good pizza spot in the valley and it was an exceptional experience to say the least. I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and the atmosphere gave off family business vibes. The pizza itself was outstanding. The crust was perfectly crispy and toppings were fresh and generously applied, creating a very tasty pizza.. I particularly loved their veggie with added jalapeño, which was a delightful combination I hadn't tried before. I think what sets Jerry's apart is their quality first approach, it seems the opposite of corporate and they actually care about the product they put forward. The ingredients tasted fresh, and It's rare to find a place in this location that consistently delivers high quality food along with excellent customer service. I really liked how they were showing the games on tv and serving beer .. so whether you're dining in with family or ordering takeout for a cozy night in, Jerry's Pizza is a go to spot for delicious pizza. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu, including their garlic rolls which another customer told me to get next time. Highly recommend!

Stopped by with my family on a random day we wanted pizza. The staff were super nice, and service was quick. We were wonderfully surprised and the quantity and quality of the food received. We had so much food we had to take some leftovers home. There lots of tables and seating available as well as meter parking right up front. I would definitely say this is family/kid friendly. We will be back!

Another pizza night with my blushing bride. We love the vibe of Jerry's but ordered a large vegetarian to-go. It was a very artfully arranged pizza and the veggies all tasted great. But the pizza was soggy and stuck to the paper, making it less than perfect. Not sure why that happened. We live 9 minutes away so... But a very decent pizza that would be an excellent pizza if eaten when freshly made.

I'm giving the two stars based on the pizza which is surprisingly good. This place is the ultimate hole in wall. It's not the cleanest place and the owner always seems to be having a bad day. Very unpleasant individual he acts like he's doing you a favor letting you order his food. Your best bet is to order the pizza to go you don't have to deal with the bad parking and unpleasant surroundings.

Totally our fault the driver was kind and told his manager and they callled us and replaced it, amazing customer service and we are very thankful. We love Jerry's! It's a family run place, the kind you'd go when you were a kid. Classic pizza, thin crust, old school style-delicious, no frills, cold drinks, and a few arcade and pinball games in the back!. We are regulars and we love to see the owner and his two sons running the show. The guys always deliver promptly to our home with a smile and give my excited little son a big fist bump at the door. Best and closest pizza that reflects traditional Chicago "tavern style" pizza... you just gotta know how to order it. Extra sauce, well done, cut in squares please. Also just a heads up that the "Italian beef" sandwich is not actually an Italian Beef sandwich.

This was an exhausting experience... I gave this place a shot after seeing decent reviews and recommendations on yelp and reddit, so I was very confused to find that it was not good at all. I ordered a large cheese and tomato pizza along with 2 meatballs for delivery. The meatballs were very dense and not tasty. I don't know what to say other than it was flavorless. Also, very minor issue, but the bag they came in got kinda soaked by the sauce spilling out. The pizza was terrible- greasy and rubbery cheese, dough had zero bite to it, and no sauce. Let me emphasize that there was no sauce; I literally peeled back the cheese hoping I was just imagining things. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic that a pizza called "Cheese and Tomato Pizza" had no tomato. There were some hints of remnants of sauce along the outer crust but that was about it. The dough as I said had no bite- by this, I just mean it was very soft and bready. Maybe that's what some people want, but yeah if you're looking for any sort of crispiness or crunch, you won't find it here (at least I didn't). It's even more amazing because underneath the pizza had a few black spots... so you'd think that would translate into some sort of texture, but I guess not. What's more, you could see the end parts of the crust were half yellow from soaking in all that grease. Incredible how this missed on so many levels. We made sure to check multiple slices in case the first 2 were just unlucky. At first, I thought maybe it's just not my style? I mean I don't get all the positive reviews. But, I really don't know who this is made for... Honestly, at this point I'm assuming at least some of the reviews must be fake; either that or this place just has a cult following or something... I would be embarrassed to sell/serve this. I feel bad writing such a harsh review, especially if the people running this place are nice, but I need to be honest... Even with all that being said, seeing all the great reviews on the side as I'm typing this has me so confused... The juxtaposition is absolutely incredible, it's almost as if i'm hallucinating lol.

My love for Jerry's is strong! Their pizzas are nothing fancy, but that's why they are so good. Just well made, delicious, PIZZA. The crust is nice and thin but not too crisp, the sauce is perfect, they use tons of cheese, and it's a good price. The wings are also really good, as are the garlic rolls, which are stuffed with cheesy garlic and come with tomato sauce to dip with. Can't go wrong with Jerry's!

The pizza is good and service used to be also until recently. I like their dough and I bought it to make pizzas at home for the past year. This week when I went in to pick up some dough, when I got home I noticed the dough was not fresh as it was dry and crusty. I called Jerry's to let them know and was told, "Too bad, go somewhere else." And just like that they lost a customer.

Wowza! We passed this hidden gem for years and finally stopped in to get pizzas to go! It's a real pizza joint with leather banquettes and arcade games! But the pizza - seriously good. We got a custom regular crust with bacon, pineapple and jalapeños and a double crust with fresh tomatoes, cheese and jalapeños. The small is 8", perfect for a couple of people with regular appetites! We will be torturing very soon!

I have picked up here delivering for DoorDash a lot. Today was the day I got my own Jerry's Cheese Pizza. I was excited. I have heard nothing but good things about this pizza. The guy before me even bought pizza dough! That is amazing, and so thoughtful. Anyways, this cheese pizza is great. Doughy enough and the sauce is so good. I would go on to say yes. Yes what you say? YES this is the best cheese pizza in the area. DRUMROLL a XL-CHEESE PIZZA is only 16.99! That is unheard of in the valley. Honestly first time ordering here and I am a huge fan. I have heard Jerry's has been around for a very long time. I understand why.

This is a wonderful place! I have been coming here since I was a little kid and they still remember me! They are great for families because they have some arcade games and great for adults because they have tasty pizza and sandwiches. They also serve $10 pitchers of beer which is great when you come to watch the game or hang with your friends here. They have parking in the back and metered parking out on Sherman way. The owner and his son are super nice and helpful when it comes to ordering! Their wings are delicious and I highly recommend any of their hot sandwiches! My husband loves the chicken Parmesan and I love their hot roast beef or hot turkey sandwich. They are extremely affordable and personable here. This is a family owned business and I would come to support them anytime! It's extremely worth it!

Provender: this is a great spot to grab a pizza, sandwich, or pasta. The sandwiches come in one size. I ate the spaghetti with sausage and the pastrami sandwich. Both were great. Prices: reasonable, most sandwiches are under $9. Pastas are about $11. Pasta are served with garlic bread. Parking: there's street parking or a few spots behind the building. People: fun for all. Perks: you can enter from the rear. Double entendre? They also serve bottled beers. In case you want to cater, they also have a catering menu.
