This place is a gem! The owner also runs the Center for Study and Preservation of Palestine next door. He is extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate! So happy to have a chance to support and learn about Palestinian culture. Everything we tried is absolutely delicious, can’t wait to watch this place blossom.

Jerusalem Rose Market pays respect to Palestine in ways that no other market can. This is how I envisioned a community market to be, a place of warmth, tradition, a pleasing aesthetic, where stories are told, and real people are remembered. The floor reminds me of Bateekh (watermelon), the smells of Za’atar emanating from the racks remind me of home, the stories of our ancestors go straight to your heart. Come support this market. All profits will support the Center for Study and Preservation of Palestine! And the hummus is great!

Jerusalem Rose is great. Their hummus is among the best I've ever had. They sell eggs and honey from a local farm. Palestinian wine and beer. Cheese, produce, etc. Some of the shelves are a bit bare but I imagine they will fill out as the market is there longer. It's still very new.

This store is beautiful. By far the best hummus I’ve ever had, and I eat a Lot of hummus. I plan on coming back weekly to restock. Don’t miss out!!

This place is so cute! You can get the best hummus, foul, labneh, and fresh pita chips in town. Lots of other interesting SWANA food products as well. The hand built cedar display is stunning. Feel lucky this store is in my town.

I bought some pita bread and 2 dips here, Smoked Eggplant and Ful, which are homemade by the Owner’s mother. They were well priced and are SO SO flavorful and delicious. I would eat them every day if I could. In reality I’ll probably go back every week (:

Great new business specializing in middle eastern foods, specifically Palestine. My wife loves the store and picks up some delicious treats several times a week. One of my favorites is the homemade hummus and pita chips made by the owner's mother. Jerusalem Rose Market is a nice addition to the Eliot neighborhood we support and hope they thrive for many years to come.

Great deals on pita, delicious hummus, got some nice Palestinian soap here, too. The staff people we met were lovely. Can't wait to come back for the falafel.

What a great little market!! This isn't where you go to do your weekly shopping, but it's a good spot to pick up some fresh, local items, along with some Middle Eastern staples, and maybe some things you've never had before. When I walked in, the first thing I saw was some containers of home-made pudding, with a sign that read "Mom's pudding is pineapple, today." What's not to love about pudding made by somebody's mom?? Next to the pudding was home-made falafel, home-made hummus, and home-made babaganoush. I bought all of it, because supporting a local business is a great reason to pig out on delicious food. And everything I bought really was delicious, particularly the babaganoush, which was possibly the best I've had. No fresh produce when I was there, but I think they do carry it sometimes. They also have Turkish Delight, so if you were that kid that read the Narnia books and always wanted to try it, now's your chance

Love! Excellent hummus and labneh and lots of goods I wouldn't find at a big grocery store, plus art made by local SWANA artists. The staff are also amazing.

Nice corner market that has some good stuff and a variety of food goods from Palestine, Alberia, Morocco, etc. Nice array of spices including sumac, nigella, and other less well known spices. Yogurts, keffir, cheeses, variety of coffee. The owner's Mom also supplies the fresh made puddings, hummus, and falafel! Come in, browse, and see what you need. I picked up sardines, chunk tuna, dates, and sumac. Going back for pudding and hummus. Let's support the local economy.
