Jet Runway Cafe

Cute place with the added entertainment of getting to see planes take off and land. It gets pretty busy on the weekends and they don't let you make a reservation. We were able to make it first thing when they opened after a prior unsuccessful attempt. My cappuccino was great and came with the sugar stick. We were one of the first guests so thankfully not much of a wait for anything. The meals all came out warm and the food was good.

This is definitely a cool restaurant that serves breakfast and brunch classics, sandwiches, burgers, and even main plates with the view of jet planes taking off and landing while you enjoy your meal. All the food we ordered came out fresh and very flavorful. Staff is friendly and our server Cassidy was very nice and attentive. But be aware that dining area is a bit small so most times there is a wait to get a table and reservations aren’t allowed.

First of all the location of this place is dope. Getting to see the planes take off and land is really cool. Ambience inside is really nice. The service was great and efficient. Kept refilling my coffee without having to ask. So my only gripe is the menu wasn't really expansive and the portions wasn't great. The food was good, I got the eggs benny, but nothing to scream about. Then the home fries were decent but felt like something was missing. I've had the same plate in other diners same price with bigger portions. Like if I take someone there it'll be cause of the location while the food being decent enough to show them the spot in the 1st place.

After hearing mixed reviews about this place, located at the backside of the Fort Lauderdale Executive airport runway (hence the name). I checked it out during a week day instead of a weekend, and I must say i was impressed. The staff were on point, very warm and accommodating, and the menu was extensive, and oh, the food was so good, something there for everyone, even if you are a picky eater, I wanted to try it all. But I must say, although it's a small eatery, the turnaround was totally impressive. I felt no rush, although there was a line of customers waiting to be seated. I will surely put this as one of my favorite places to drop in when in the area.

If you wake up early, you might get a nice view while having breakfast. I went around 10 a.m. on a weekday and was able to get a table by the window. The menu offered typical breakfast and lunch items. The service was good, and the food was excellent. Be aware that parking may fill up quickly due to other businesses in the area. No one should be charging $8 for a double espresso

Jet Runway Cafe is such a hidden gem! The view of the jet bridge makes the whole dining experience extra unique—it’s like having a front row seat to the runway. The food was delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and overall, it was a really nice spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Definitely worth checking out!

Fun little diner at the airport. I’m an aviation enthusiast so for me it was great but even my wife and kids enjoyed our breakfast. Not too many airplanes at our time but I can see it getting busy on the weekends for viewing and patronage. Overall the food was excellent and the service was quick and polite. They had an excellent kids menu as well with aviation games and puzzles. Will try and convince the family to come back again before our trip is over.
