The 15 Best Late Night Spots In Austin

"If you’re out late at night on East 6th, there’s a good chance you’ll be in search of some food. Preferably something super savory, and maybe a little bit greasy. That’s where JewBoy Sliders comes into play. It’s open until 2am on the weekends (1am on weekdays), and the focus is on tiny burgers, in which the patties are smashed thin and served on toasted potato rolls. You can also grab a basket of “lakitos”—miniature fried garlic-and-onion latkes—in case you feel like sharing. And it’s located at Violet Crown Social Club, a slightly divey bar with great frozen drinks, in case you’re not ready to end the night just yet.  Open until 1am Sun-Wed, 2am Thurs-Sat " - nicolai mccrary

JewBoy Sliders Review - East Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Parked in front of on East Sixth, sporting a neon sign that shines like a Bat Signal to passers-by, JewBoy Sliders is about as perfect of a way to end a night of drinking on the East Side as any that we’ve found. It’s a trailer from the same people behind and (plus, another slider location ), but with an emphasis on tiny burgers, in which the patties are smashed thin and served on toasted potato rolls. And they’re small enough that you can eat a few of them, which is ideal since they come in a couple different varieties—including our favorite with grilled jalapeño, pepper jack cheese, and Hatch chile ranch. The menu is pretty straightforward. Choose from one of two slider types (or both), then decide if you want to get it topped with a latke and/or bacon. Latkes make a great slider topping, but we like them best as a side order of “Lakitos”—a little basket of fried garlic and onion latkes you can eat side by side with your sliders.  There’s a large patio out front where you can order and enjoy your sliders without ever stepping foot into Violet Crown Social Club if you really want, but then you’d also be missing out on the dark, air-conditioned bar area, cold beers, and frozen drinks that feel like they were born to accompany these sliders.  Stop by JewBoy Sliders at the end of a night on East Sixth—it’s open until 2am on the weekends, and 1am during the week—or just for a casual Tuesday night dinner. We checked, and there’s no wrong time for a slider.  " - Nicolai McCrary

JewBoy Sliders Review - Downtown Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"After a successful run selling normal-sized burgers and subs at and , respectively, the same team opened up a on the East Side back in late 2022. Shortly after, they opened a location in downtown Austin, this time at the Fareground food hall. Unlike the one on East 6th Street that only operates in the evenings, this location is open for lunch and dinner, with a bigger menu that includes four slider varieties, plus hot and cold mini-subs filled with everything from house-smoked pastrami to roast beef, turkey breast, and fried chicken. Nice little food cart with plenty of comfortable patio seating. We visited on a Saturday night around 5:30 pm. The line to order was not long and the guy working the window was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Weekend Getaway which is a choice of two slider and a side. The sliders were delicious we especially loved The Vato- ANGUS, PEPPER JACK CHEESE, HATCH CHILE RANCH SPREAD & GRILLED JALAPEÑOS ON A TOASTED POTATO ROLL. Such amazing flavor, it was over the top good. The other slider The Gringo was a good but basic. The mini latkes were a fun option as a side. I wish more people would offer them. Overall, great experience I am glad we went.

Amazing sliders in a great location!! Austin’s got some stiff competition when it comes to late nite food and takeout, and people in this spot are in for a major treat. Finished 2 spicy ones in a heartbeat. Everything from the bun, beef and cheese are perfect together. Very highly recommended, this one’s definitely worth going out of your way for!!

I tried this spot for the first time yesterday. I was a little nervous because I heard mix reviews on the JewBoy burgers restaurant. I ordered the weekend getaway which comes with two sliders and a side (I got fries) and it was a ton of food for the price. I got one of each slider which they were both incredible. The Gringo was a little bit better than the Vato but again super good. If you’re wanting a late night greasy burger bite for a good price check these guys out.

we asked for 2 orders of the vato sliders. instead we only received one order with two sliders. that was a bummer. my friend went back up to ask for another order and it came out quickly. the seating area had dogs which i love seeing out in public. fries tasted good and i enjoyed the spicy ketchup. i know it’s a slider so it doesn’t have all the burger ingredients as the actual burgers at the main store but i still loved them.

If it’s past 10pm and you’re craving something delicious that’s going to hit the spot, look no further! I have been here at least 20 times and the sliders are always top notch. I have never had a bad experience. Staff is fantastic despite dealing with drunk patrons. Highly recommend the Vato for slightly spicy kick.

Great customer Service can’t stress that enough. The manager V informed us on all the different meal options Jewboy Sliders offers. Which helped the ordering process tremendously! Will definitely be back great food as well!

I’ve been coming to Jewboy Sliders for about 6 months now. It never disappoints! I normally go for an order of The Vato, but tonight I tried The Gringo. They were delicious! Next time, I’ll have to do one of each. Also, pro-tip - get the smoked Mayo!
