The Best Ramen Restaurants in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Unlike the other spots on this list, this popular Richmond District izakaya-like spot is actually a Korean fusion restaurant rather than a place that purports to serve purely Japanese food. But instead of serving Korean-style ramyun (with or without American cheese), Jijime dishes out a quite solid rendition of a creamy tonkotsu-style broth, available in several versions — spiked with black garlic, for instance, or loaded with bite-size gyoza. The restaurant also features a spicy tofu or kimchi stew, if you’re looking for a soup off the Korean side of the menu." - Dianne de Guzman

Korean-Japanese comfort with ramen in the mix—think creamy tonkotsu sesame and seafood bowls—plus plenty of shareable plates. Recognized on Eater SF’s ramen map and confirmed by its current hours, it adds welcome variety to the Richmond.

Came in for a Friday lunch a little bit after opening, I was the only person in there. Decent food, good service. Bibimbap was good, would try other dishes if I am in the area again.

Google
It was just... fine — the service was nice, but nothing we ate wowed us. Don't get the Bimbibab; for $22, it's a shallow bowl of piddling rice and meat. Chicken jjim is better, but $3 for extra thin layer cheese feels dramatic.

My family and I went to this place and we were all blown away by the food and the service. Everything was delicious and we were attended to pretty fast. I got the pork belly buns and the pork belly platter. It came sizzling 🤤 My mom got a tea and the packaging was so cute! It’s dark in there so make sure to leave quickly before you take a nap from the food coma 😆

Updated review 3/11/2025: Jijime is cozy when it is not crowded. I was picking up piroshkis next door and noticed there were tables available. Last time, my table was right next to someone else's table and the back of my chair against another party. Tonight I had their sizzling Korean short ribs $24. This came with a small bowl of rice and a side salad. The food tasted fine and service was excellent. Original review: Jijime was crowded on a Monday night. Some other restaurants on this block were closed and they might have benefited from the spill over. I had their bulgogi quesadilla $10 and kuro (black garlic) ramen $14. The quesadilla was good, not great. It could have used a small side of kimchi to give it a bit more excitement. The black garlic ramen's broth was lackluster. I could tell they spent some time on it but it was not rich enough. The black garlic oil was weak and I had much better kuro ramen elsewhere in San Francisco and Mountain View. Since the restaurant was busy, the service was adequate. My bill was $30 with tax and tip.

We ordered the Spicy Boneless Chicken and the Vegetarian Sizzling Bibimbap. Both the dishes were very flavorful and outstanding. So many vegetarian options. We are definitely coming back to try more dishes.

Google
Our group ordered a bunch of appetizers along with our meal. The small plates were better than the mains. The "limited" ramen topped with chicken was forgettable as only the broth was worth noting, not the noodles nor the chicken. The sizzling bibimbap lacked flavor. Not a disappointing dining experience but also nothing to rave about.

Google
Always a pleasure to eat here. There are so many delicious options. Favorite Korean food in San Francisco by far. Their bibimbap and ramen are both amazing. Many tapas to also choose from! Also really cute atmosphere and decorations.

Yelp
All the yums! If you're ready to get your Asian fusion on, this is where you want to do it at! First off, the menu is filled with so many yummy sounding choices, you'll probably end up doing what we did, and that is ordering one of all of the different things that you wanna try. Just do what you want regret it! Boneless fried chicken/soy garlic: check! Generous pieces of chicken, made to the absolute perfection, seasoned incredibly well, and if it wasn't for all of the food that we had ordered, I'm pretty sure I would have finished this all on my own lol yes, it's that tasty. Corn cheese: check! I love a good Korean corn cheese, this one definitely fell short. Not something that I would order again. Beef Short ribs: check! Pretty pricey for the small portion, but definitely tasty! And I love the fact that there was more meat than fat or bones. So it definitely hit the taste sensation! Bibimbap bowl: all of the wows! This is a huge portion with a great variety of so many wonderful vegetables, flavors, just everything. In my book this is definitely shareable, but someone with a really hungry and healthy appetite definitely could finish this in one sitting. Absolutely tasty. The restaurant is incredibly clean, as is the restroom, so major bonus points. Customer Service is spot on. We were greeted by a friendly smile and seated, given menus and water right away. Our order was taken, and food was served hot and quickly. Perfect restaurant experience! A great experience, really good food, and definitely a place that we will be going back to!

Yelp
Cute little spot in the Richmond, a nabe known for many such spots. I read Yelp reviews for menu suggestions before we went. We had the sizzling spicy pork plate, the bulgogi quesadillas, popcorn salmon bites, and the boneless fried chicken. My friend also ordered a side salad. The star dishes for us were the salmon and the chicken. The spicy pork plate was a generous portion and tasted fine, but nothing particularly special, and definitely not spicy. As an aficionado of spicy food, I didn't detect an ounce of heat in the pork plate. It did, however, arrive sizzling just as advertised. They just need to punch up the spice if they're going to call it spicy. I had a delicious strawberry lemonade with my meal. Service was fair. We needed to prompt them for the check. They take reservations and I suggest making them. I also suggest arriving at 5:30 for dinner, to get a bit ahead of the crowd. I'll be back for the salmon and chicken, and maybe try one of the soups.

Yelp
Came on a windy sunny afternoon and it was exactly what I needed to go about my day. Loved the presentation off the bat and the flavors of the dishes suited each other. I don't know what crack sauce they put on the pork belly but it was so TASTY OH MY LORD Cute for a little brunch spot but better suited for dinner as the place is dimly lit

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday evening and ordered: 1) Grilled pork belly plate-9/10. Based on other reviews, I asked for the sauce on the side and was very happy I did. The pork belly was seasoned well and tasted good simply with rice. I dipped a few pieces in the sauce and felt it was way too sweet. 2) Sizzling bibimbap plate with beef-7/10. There were too many "new things" in the bibimbap, like big chunks of zucchini, bell peppers and lettuce. These ingredients were not incorporated well and the dish was bland. I would not order again. Overall, the food was good but inconsistent. Portions were average and the price point was fair. One positive thing is that there was plenty of free street parking.

Yelp
Cute little Korean fusion place in Outer Richmond. I think this spot is great for introducing Korean food to people, there's a handful of different authentic dishes represented (meats, soups, bibimbaps) and their fusion variations (bulgogi tacos/quesadillas for example). I liked the bulgogi tacos. Each order comes with 2 and they went ham with how much meat they put on the taco. The bulgogi was sweet and salty--the usual combination of flavour in Korean cuisine--but not too much. I really liked the chicken jjim. I did opt in for the 3 dollar extra cheese and they gave a lot of cheese. I low key wished I could pay like half of that for half of the cheese but that's just my preference. The chicken was super tender and stayed warm for a long time from the sizzling stone plate. I also got the spicy flavour and it was pretty true to what chicken dishes taste like in Korea :')

Yelp
Solid spot with good bibimbap - I liked the crunchy tofu in the sizzling pot - and with a lot of the sauce it's very tasty. The salmon nuggets were cooked well but lacked a bit of flavor. The corn cheese was yummy and creamy. We also got the fries but they lacked a bit of flavor to me as well. Overall, I enjoyed it and would consider coming back, but it's not my favorite Korean spot in the city. The space was cute though and not too busy or loud.

Yelp
This is a great, low-key spot with good food! It has lots of seating and friendly service so we have gone for a lot of casual dinners with friends. The inside has good lighting, a clean bathroom, and the music isn't too loud for a good convo. The menu includes both Korean and Japanese food. I can't speak to authenticity, but I have found the ramen to be good and an ample portion every time, and the apps are tasty and crave-worthy - we usually get the karaage (we are big protein people) and it's super crispy and not too heavy. My partner usually gets either the bibimbop or galbi and has enjoyed both. There's a sizzling bibimbop option if you are willing to pay a few extra dollars, that crispy rice is so good!

Yelp
Was a bit let down by this place.. swung by here on a Saturday around 3 pm and was able to get a table for 6 without wait. We decided to get appetizers to share family style and individual entrees. For the appetizers, we tried: - Okonomiyaki Fries (5/5): Probably my favorite thing out of everything we tried. I liked the bonito flakes and mayo. Fries were similar texture to In-N-Out fries. - Tofu Nugget (1/5): Disappointing. The veggies and tofu didn't really pair well together. They gave a sauce that tasted like worcestershire sauce, which is not really an ideal pairing. - Chicken Karaage (4/5): Decent chicken karaage. Sauce provided pairs well. - Popcorn Salmon (3/5): Comes with a spicy mayo, which I think was the same sauce that the chicken karaage came with. Didn't really feel like the sauce paired as well with the salmon compared to the chicken. For my entree, I got the sizzling bibimbap with bulgolgi. It sure does come sizzling! The rice was nice and crispy... but that was the best part. They really overbuttered the dish to the point where the butter was the dominant flavor. The vegetables chosen were also a bit odd and not traditional bibimbap veggies. I just didn't really feel blown away eating this dish. Service was decent. When they brought out utensils, there was a pair of chopsticks that were dirty.. but they were quick to help us replace it.

Yelp
This is always a go to spot for any visitors I have coming to town! The sizzling plates are my favorite but they have a whole menu full of Korean classics and other fun Asian fusion tapas. As featured in the photo, the soju cocktails keep us coming back! Perfect date night spot too.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 3 on a Sunday for a late lunch but it didn't seem necessary as it was quite empty inside. Our order: Korean Pear Juice ($4.00): +Not my order, but friend enjoyed it. Boneless Fried Chicken - Soy Garlic ($13.00): +Crispy exterior with juicy interior +Soy garlic glaze was savory and sweet +Large portion good for sharing Black Mussel Soup ($17.50): +Lots of black mussels +Cabbage and onions added crunch -Fish broth was salty and heavy on the pepper: We ended up leaving it behind. Sizzling Bibimbap - Soy Garlic Seafood ($24.99): +Rice was cooked well: Fluffy with crispy rice on the bottom +Plenty of crunchy bean sprouts and vegetables +Seasoned well -Small portion of seafood Side notes: 1.) Limited street parking *Verdict: Homey Asian fusion restaurant with friendly and efficient service. I'd like to come back with a group to try more of their menu!

Yelp
Great service; comforting food on a cold day! The popcorn salmon was unique and a real hit! The chashu in the tonkotsu ramen was slightly tough. Would give this place a 3.75/5.

Yelp
SERVICE - located in the Richmond district near Golden Gate Park - street parking only which was not too difficult to find on a Friday evening - ambiance good for a semi casual meal with friends - good service with food that was brought out fast - restroom available inside MENU - Korean Japanese fusion food - vegetarian and vegan options available - average price ($18 per entree) FOOD - veggie spicy tofu stew (8/10): soft tofu simmering a chili broth with veggies and green onions served with a side of rice. This was the better of the two dishes we ordered. It is a comfortingly warming meal perfect for a chilly day. The portion size is a quite generous and can be shared between 1-2 people. - sizzling fried tofu bibimbap (6/10): crispy rice, sautéed veggies, and fried tofu cubes served on a hot plate with a side of spicy pepper sauce. The tofu is so crispy it almost felt like eating croutons. It is a good sized portion to feed 1-2 people. I liked the flavor of the sauce but would have wanted it to be mixed into the dish because the drizzle on top did not fully coat all of the rice and tofu. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! The flavors were good and the ambiance was casual yet inviting.

Yelp
This was a good spot coming back from north of San Francisco. It wasn't too crowded so we got seated immediately. They had very good hot tea which was great after a cold day. We got the soft tofu stew which was very different than any of the stews I've tried at other places. It had a lot of veggies which was good and the broth tasted different. The portion size was also good. We also tried the tofu nuggets which tasted like a very Japanese influenced dish, it was tasty. Overall a good experience, with many options.

Yelp
As an asian fusion spot, I'm never really expecting anything spectacular or anything authentic. I came with a friend and we just got a quick bite of food here and I've been meaning to try this place. We started off with the soy garlic KFC and they were good. I liked the crispiness of the chicken and the flavors were good. And thankfully the chicken meat was tender. For my dish I ordered the black garlic ramen. It was okay. The broth was pretty good but you can of course tell the noodles are store-bought so it ain't fresh. The pork belly was a little bit dry so I wasn't too impressed by it. But as long as the soups and egg is good I don't mind it. My friend ordered this sizzling bibimbap and it came out in a stone skillet! Pretty cool to see actually. A very hearty dish and it felt like your normal bibimbap but on a skillet. This is a pretty cool place overall to come try out. Don't come here with high expectations if you're ordering ramen at least. This place gets the job done if you just want something easy and simple.

Yelp
A very solid and homey Korean restaurant in the Richmond, one of the better Korean restaurants in SF since I think good Korean food is fairly hard to come by here. Grilled Pork Belly - Nothing crazy, but pretty tasty and tender. Overall solid choice for an entree, and the portions were pretty generous. The BBQ sauce they put over was pretty unique, definitely not traditionally Korean in my opinion but pretty cool to try. BBQ Short Ribs - Pretty standard Kalbi dish. Same as above - nothing super crazy or anything but still overall very solid, probably won't get disappointed by this. Overall, it's solid and somewhere that I'd go back to, but didn't blow my mind or anything. If you're craving some Korean / Japanese fusion style dishes, definitely check this spot out!
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered the galbi bbq plate $25 and sizzling bibimbap with pork belly $22. The Korean bbq here is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants causing $30+. It came with a bowl of white rice and salad. The meat plate came with 4 small pieces of mushrooms, a lot of onions along with the galbi on a sizzling plate. They don't have banchans here though unlike other Korean restaurants, which might explain the lower price for the bbq. I would come back for the bbq but not bibimbap since other places include banchans. This is a fusion place with Japanese ramen, so not a traditional Korean restaurant. Still, I'm not used to not getting any banchans at a Korean restaurant since I love my veggies.

Yelp
Great food Korean style, we tried Bulgogi sizzling with vegetables and Vegetables Bibimbap Both were delicious . The menu was so tempted to get The service was so nice and fast I like the decorations inside the restaurant but the location was not easy to find parking on the street Anyway will be back to try another dishes

Yelp
First time visiting this restaurant and it was a great experience! The food was delicious with generous portions. You can really tell the chef puts a lot of care and effort into each dish. The interior is nicely decorated, and the soundproofing makes a big difference - even when it's busy, it still feels calm and comfortable inside.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly this place probably deserves a 3 star for quality of food but the service was good and the bibimbap was delicious. Thought we might need reservations here but came on a rainy night and it was very quiet. We ordered the Korean fried chicken soy garlic and the bulgogli quesadilla to start and my hubby got the ramen and i got the pork belly bibimbap. The fried chicken was pretty good, nothing amazing but def good. The bulgogli was delicious! Great flavor. My hubby didn't love his ramen (go figure it's mainly a Korean place) but my bibimbap was solid. The meat in particular was rly rly good. I wish they had indicated how big it was and suggested the smaller size but that's ok! I ate most of it.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely fire !! Flavors for days ambience is nice inside as well. Highly recommend bulgogi bibimbap. Every bite was to die for no joke.

Yelp
On a Friday night with my BFF and her hubby we were sat down immediately. I ordered the kalbi plate, my best friend dry ramen, and her hubby a sizzling kimchi rice plate. All really good. My kalbi was extra smokey which added a depth of flavor. I was surprised and would come again. I also ordered a pear juice which tasted like a pear juice. It was fine. Atmosphere was good a lot of wood on the dark end. Service was good. :)

Yelp
Jijime is a fine Asian Fusion snack-ish food and bar. They have some standard Korean faire alongside Japanese inspired Okonomiyaki fries and gyoza and ramen. So that being said, if you're looking for Korean spices or punchy flavors like we were, Jijime offers more milder versions of said dishes and stews and plates. Service was great though and the ladies assisting our table were super nice and accommodating, as we asked for extra this and that and refills. Very cute and quaint vibes with lots of drink options and tapa-like foods. I feel this is a great spot to shoot the bull w/ friends...
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
walked in on a saturday around 7 pm with 2 friends - we waited ~30 minutes for a table and were able to sit at the bar and look at the menu while waiting, so we were ready to order as soon as we got a table. the ambiance was more casual; i think it was great for just enjoying some good food. we ordered the sizzling bibimbap with spicy pork, chicken jjim (soy garlic), bulgogi quesadilla, boneless fried chicken (soy garlic). we got a little tripped up by all the flavor options, but i think we ended up with a good mix of flavors. the bulgogi quesadilla was unexpectedly good albeit a little sweet, so i wouldn't have too much of it. we were thinking that more kimchi would've made it better. i liked the bibimbap as well, it had good spiciness & flavor, and i liked that the rice was crispy. the chicken was a bit dry/salty, though. overall pretty solid, i don't think i'd go out of my way to come here again but would be down to stop by if i was in the area and wanted good korean food!
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
I don't really understand the popularity of this place. We waited maybe ~30 minutes for a table for Saturday dinner. The food was just...not good? I get that it's "Asian fusion" but everything tasted super Americanized. I honestly couldn't name one dish that my group enjoyed. The service was also a bit rude (but I think the staff seemed overwhelmed by how busy it was).
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Super delicious korean spot. Been here twice and both times did not disappoint. The soy garlic fried chicken was amazing. The bulgogi bibimbap was also so delicious and usually I am not a bibimbap fan! I'd say that the fried chicken and bibimbap are quite large portions and can be shared. The soy garlic jjim was also pretty good, but the portion size for that is not shareable for 2 people. Service was attentive and quick, not much of a wait. Restaurant vibes are casual and relaxing, great spot to go to with friends.
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
Been wanting to tried this place, hoping for a jjim similar to Daeho, but we have mixed feelings. I mean it was gooood, but the portion size was very small. We were a group of 5 and we felt like we ordered a lot when ordering but when the dishes came out it was much much smaller than we thought. Esp the beef short ribs. When it came out we all looked at each other like ugh that's it? That would have been enough for just 1, let alone to share between the 5 of us. We literally had to cut that in pieces, and we each got one piece and at most 2 small pieces left over.
google avatar

Wolf F.

Yelp
Came in for a Friday lunch a little bit after opening, I was the only person in there. Decent food, good service. Bibimbap was good, would try other dishes if I am in the area again.

Yelp
My group of 4 was looking for some comfort food after coming back from the Presidio, and I remember wanting to check the restaurant out after seeing the signage outside. The interior is a mix of modern and cozy. Our bibimbap had the vegetables of a Japanese-American dish and pretty tasty bulgogi, despite being a fusion type of Bibimbap. Our tofu stew tofu looked almost a little cooked -- as the silken tofu was broken up to almost an applesauce consistency; flavor wise it missing some depth but that was probably on us for ordering mild. The small bites were solid! I recommend both trying the Okonomiyaki fries and fried chicken, which we got in soy garlic. There's also a modest selection of drinks other drink menu. Overall, the food is good but probably better for sharing over some drinks rather than as comfort food. Would be back to try some more of the small bites!

Yelp
Great hot plates! My party of five showed up around 8:40 and they close at 9pm and they were really gracious to seat us since there weren't many restaurants open around. They had also just seated another party of 3 before us who were ordering late. We ended up getting a couple appetizers along with one sizzling plate per person and it was really good! I wish they had some banchan at the front to eat with the sizzling plates, but still great food! Pork Belly Sizzling Plate (5/5): This sizzling plate was delicious, it came out on a cast iron plate and was smoking right off the bat. It also came with a salad and a bowl of rice and was the perfect amount. I wish there would have been some more veggies in it (besides the onion), but the meat was really soft and the sauce on top was delicious. Corn Cheese (5/5): Honestly such gooey cheese and corn ratio, it came out on a cast iron plate so it was nice and warm Okonomiyaki Fries (4.5/5): The sauce distribution was a bit tough for the bottom fries, but the toppings and flavor were really nice and the fries had a good crunch. I would definitely come again to try their ramen as they had a lot of options on the menu.

Yelp
Came here for the first time, easy to find, parking was rough though because the place is near a residential area and an open road. The interior was very cozy and nice. It's reminiscent of a lot of ramen places with the dim lighting. I got the ramen with chicken on the side, I also ordered a plate of soy garlic chicken and only realized after the fact that I should've just gotten a regular ramen without chicken. The ramen dish was a 7.5/10. Ramen itself was good and the soup but the chicken was sort of over cooked and didn't add much flavor to the dish. The soy garlic chicken was a 9/10, very crunchy and delicious. The pieces were big and they gave a good amount.
google avatar

Shan C.

Yelp
This was one of the best Korean stew pots I've ever had. There was the perfect level of spiciness. But the highlight of the dish was the generous amount of kimchi and bean sprouts and various veggies in every bite. Admittedly, there was not a lot of pork in my dish but the pork was high quality--it melts in your mouth. Service was very attentive and our food came out quickly.
google avatar

Ruhi S.

Yelp
Solid Korean spot in Richmond with vegetarian options. I tried the Korean tofu stew and bibimbap and both were delicious. The bibimbap needed some sauciness but nothing that the house sauces couldn't fix. The portions were plenty and loaded with tofu as a protein. There were also great drink and happy hour deals.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Loved this place! Had a lot of the Korean classics but more modern and elevated take on them. If you're looking for like homemade feel, then maybe not. But we overall enjoyed our meal and our fav was the beef short rib and bibimbap
google avatar

Jinghua M.

Yelp
Been here a couple times! Love the food! Friendly servers! A good place to dine and gather with friends! Would definitely come back!

Ana D.

Yelp
Got take out... the order was faster than I expected which I appreciate. The girls were friendly when I arrived. Got the bimbimbap beef bowl as it was highly rated however hardly had any beef at all. A whole lot of rice..... some veggies. This is how they treat the takeouts, so sad. Perhaps I'd get more beef if I ate IN? Who Knows? First and last time.

Michael D.

Yelp
The service was great. The food not so much. We ordered the tofu soup, which was filled with lots of onions that overwhelmed the dish and there was not enough flavor other than the onions. The galbi lacked seasoning and was bland. The only good thing we had was the fried oysters. No banchan served! This is not your typical Korean restaurant.
google avatar

Clara L.

Yelp
Had the kimchi stew and the chicken jjim but i was not impressed, as a korean did not taste authentic. Could use more spices.

Yelp
coming here 4 times in a row lately and every time still amazed me the spicy kimchi soup is definitely my favorite!! The taste is stable and as always the services is friendly and attentive Ambiance is always cozy like im in korea

Yelp
Great Service, Great Food, Great Ambiance, would definitely come back. My husband and I were very happy with this place!

Yelp
Came here with friends to give this place a try. The exterior and interior gives the restaurant a cozy vibe. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we got seated right away. Service was quick but the food tasted just okay to me. The portion sizes were rather small. The kalbi was $24 for 7 pieces and there wasn't enough meat on it. The bibimbap didn't come out sizzling and tofu soup wasn't boiling hot. The chicken Jjim was interesting and not bad though. We got a large lychee soju cocktail and it was liquid diabetes. It was nearly pure liquid lychee flavored syrup with a hint of soju. I think their ratio might have been off that day.

Yelp
Came during dinner time, at 6pm. Took roughly 10-15 minutes to place an order. Ordered 5 dishes, one being the bulgogi tacos and it took around 35 minutes for it to come out. It was also completely COLD. The staff kept noticing that my table hasn't gotten our other dishes yet but didn't think to inform me that the kitchen would take longer than expected. At this time the restaurant was pretty empty (6:50pm) and the food just came out. Ordered a tonkotsu ramen with chicken and the chicken also came out COLD. All the food took 45-50 minutes to arrive. Service and communication honestly lacked a lot.

Yelp
This is definitely our go to spot for curing a hangover...something about the casual environment, solid beer menu and excellent. Asian (fusion like cuisine) hits the spot every time! The food is officially Korean but has a very Japanese, sezhuan, and other Asian future profile. The popcorn potstickers are pretty amazing, the bibimbap is just excellent in all protein forms(I add crunchy tofu) and the rest of their "tapas" menu is just great. The interior is clean and cute. Parking is a nightmare but it's S.F. The service is friendly. A great go to spot...
google avatar

Shelley P.

Yelp
The okonomiyaki fries were an unexpectedly delicious snack! I tried a bite of my friends bibimbap and it tasted quite fresh and well-rounded, as it should be. Sadly, the chicken jjim was underwhelming (a dish should still be able to be great without cheese!) although the portion lasted me multiple meals which was nice. Still on the search for great Korean food in SF (but I will have to give the fried chicken here a try)!

Yelp
Pretty good fare in a popular spot on Geary. Classic SF parking situation, but it's a cozy, boisterous restaurant inside with good service. The chicken-jjim was really good! I wholeheartedly recommend the specialty dish here; I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and sweetness of the chicken. The ramen, however, was definitely on the less impressive side of things. The soup was savory and rich enough, and the noodle texture complimented the dish as a whole. The chashu was a bit disappointing, as it didn't match the quality of the rest of the dish. I'll have to come back and try the tapas others are raving about, but I might just look for a different ramen place if I were craving that.

Yelp
The food flavor is surprisingly good. We ordered Chicken Jjim, boneless fried chicken and Tonkotsu Ramen. All tastes awesome. They are kids friendly and not that busy during weekend lunch time.

Yelp
As an unofficial ramen connoisseur- I've had my fair share of ramen throughout the city. I have my personal favorites which I won't put into this post because that's not fair to Jijime. The ambiance of the place is cute and laid back and filled up after we walked in. Service was good too. I ordered the Gyoza ramen which was just ok. The gyoza itself was flavorless (Trader Joe's gyoza would have been better). I will say the broth is great and the ramen noodles were good. Boyfriend ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Chicken and had the same thoughts. Ramen/Broth good...chicken flavorless! Probably won't come back.

Yelp
Went here on a rainy day looking for a cozy meal, and JIJIME delivered. We ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and the chicken ramen, and they were both delicious. The sauce is hearty and flavorful, and the portions are extremely generous. The prices are fair considering you will probably have left overs. I would definitely come back with a larger group to try more things on the menu. The service was good, but the place was pretty empty when we got there and filled up as we were leaving.

Loved everything we got and overall very solid place for some good korean food
