For two people, we got in at 5:45 ish on a Wednesday and there was no wait for a table. Got Combo J and it was more than enough food. We had to cook most of it and bring it home. The side dishes were so good, I thought it was completely worth the price. One thing however, would be to not go for the spicy marinade on the chicken. It had a sour taste and we didn’t enjoy it much.

Jin BBQ in Mesa is an excellent spot for Korean food. The quality of the meat was outstanding, everything was fresh, and the flavors were on point. Cooking at the table made the experience fun and interactive, and the portions were more than satisfying. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. We had a great time from start to finish, and the atmosphere added to the overall experience. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend Jin BBQ to anyone looking for great Korean BBQ in the area.

The BEST Korean bbq in the valley!! We had Brandon as our server and he was so kind and gave great recommendations. Everything came out super fast & the whole staff was super attentive without being overbearing. Pricing was also great and portions were larger than I thought they would be. Would highly recommend and will 100% be back.

My family of 10 came to eat and we had the younger teenagers sit at the table next to us 11yo-19yo. I got up and helped put the meat on the grill and when I checked in on them again, one of the servers was helping them cook. Food was amazing and the servers were awesome. Thank you so much for your great service. Your team is amazing!

Visiting from California, we decided to get Korean bbq after a long drive. We were recommended this place by family members, did not disappoint. Justin the manager was very attentive as well as the other two servers. They were very kind to our 1 year old daughter! Food tasted great, We will come again on our next trip to Arizona!

OUTSTANDING! Okay I will start off with my initial impression, no reservations and traveling across country while trying to coordinate a family celebration dinner. I’m on the east coast and they don’t open until 5p.. for you young folks, this may seem easy.. for us older, sickly folks, who are still working.. THIS IS A BIG ASK.. DAY BEFORE. I managed to speak with Justin (more on him soon). I let hi know that our party of 12 would like to reserve seating.. he informs me of their ‘no reservations policy’ but vows to uphold my plans.. DAY OF.. Justin calls me to let me know that he will set up tables and be waiting for us.. ACTUAL RESERVATION. SURPASSES ANY SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!! Justin and his servers became FAMILY!! THIS WAS THEEE BEST SERVICE I HAVE VER RECEIVED!!! The servers engaged themselves, not noisily but just enough, into the celebration with us! Justin was attentive to our needs, and wants BEFORE we even wanted them! I am sad that I am on the east coast but my family here has vowed to return based simply on the services provided by this business!! The best Korean BBQ in town that I have been to hands down. Order one meat or a combo with multiple and a bunch of traditional Korean sides are included. Service is good, plus they have call buttons to call over a server if you're running low on kimchi or other sides! I will take friends visiting town to this location every time. It's a prime example of traditional KBBQ done right. The atmosphere is casual - K-POP music is always playing (not too loud), so get ready to have fun and sing if you're willing!

Best Korean BBQ in the entire state. I come here almost every other month because the meat quality is incredible and the sides are both delicious and unlimited. It's the classic style where you cook your own meat and pair it with all the sides for extra flavor. One of my absolute favorites is the marinated short rib. It's so tender and flavorful, especially with some radish and kimchi. I never liked kimchi much until I tried it here. Turns out I just wasn't eating good kimchi before, because theirs is easily some of the best I've ever had. Service is quick and efficient, and each table has a call button so your server comes right away whenever you need something. It's the perfect spot for a group of four to six to enjoy great food and good company!

Service 5 Food 4.5 Value 3.5 We chose the beef package which was VERY good. The extra $10 was very worth it. There was just two of us, and we made meals out of the leftovers. I'd like to have different protien and still get the short ribs... Idk, I didn't see a way to do that with out spending a lot more money. I'm already $111 deep for the Beef Combo... Anyways, it was still a great experience. The sides were excellent, the variety there was unmatched. We had the most pleasant dining experience. It's definitely a great date night spot. Would try some other places before coming back here first, but this place is worth the experience.

Jin BBQ was an unforgettable symphony of sizzling sounds and bold flavours. We had the classic large beef combo crisping perfectly on the grill. The first bite, dipped in ssamjang and wrapped in a fresh lettuce leaf with a sliver of kimchi, was pure bliss--a perfect balance of smoky, savoury, and refreshing. The marinated galbi (beef short ribs) were the true star, their sweet-soy glaze caramelising over the grill into a sticky, irresistible crust. The tender, juicy meat practically melted in our mouths. Accompanied by a vibrant array of banchan, from spicy kimchi to crunchy pickled radish, each component enhanced the rich, grilled meats. It was more than a meal; it was a vibrant, interactive, and utterly delicious culinary experience I'm already craving to repeat.

Awesome korean bbq place! I have been there twice. Picked one of the prefix menus and there is enough food for at least 4 hungry humans. The service is good, and its not too noisy. The banchan is excellent and the meat cuts are great! The place is not super big but I believe they take reservations if you have a big group. My new go to kbbq place.

Our first time here! We went the day after Valentine's. Not too busy , they have a Yelp Kiosk to check in. I signed in to them be seated right away. They have round and rectangular tables that can meet good size parties. We ordered Jin A. Which was a good deal, lots of sides plus great assortment of meat. The service here was spectacular! The best service we've ever experienced at a KBBQ restaurant. Every few minutes were checked on by a different staff member. We really appreciated that, it was like 7 or 8 of them that checked on us the entire visit. They even have Push for service button at each table which we didn't have to use once. Super nice. Food was yummy! We didn't like the pork belly.. not sure why, it's usually one of our faves but we instead loved the other meats more. So next time we don't get pork.. We will be back. We love Mesa Asian District.

First review of the new year! We had a lovely NYE dinner here. There was no Jinn around that I know of luckily and I did not spy any gin n juice, just soju at Jin. I made a reservation for a large group the day before and was advised to give them a call 20 minutes before arriving so they could set the tables up. Note that if you are going as a larger group the largest tables can squeeze in 6 adults and 1 kid with a minimal amount of elbow and leg space, otherwise you would have to separate into two smaller tables. We had the Jin Combo 1 and a jap chae. With 2 people that didn't have big appetites that was enough food for us to leave pleasantly full. All the meats were really delicious with large portions and high quality. As for sides, I enjoyed the corn cheese and the fluffy egg that was cooked on the side along with the meats. There were some rice cakes as well as your standard banchan fare of fish cake, kimchi, etc. The japchae was a generous portion with long sweet potato noodles that had just the right amount of seasoning. It came with vegetables and some slices of beef. Service was friendly and we were checked up on as needed. There was also a call button on the wall of our table so we could request a server to come by if needed.

For two please! We got the beef plate option and it was a great selection of quality meats! We enjoyed the complementary egg, salads, and soup! Servers were attentive and we switched out pans routinely. The food is always good here, I loved all the side dishes they've made.

I've been to this location many times, and overall, the food is consistently above average. However, during my most recent visit, I was surprised when I was charged an additional $4.99 for a second serving of lettuce--even after spending well over $150 on our meal. When ordering bulgogi, it's traditional to enjoy it with lettuce wraps, yet the small portion initially provided is nowhere near enough compared to the amount of meat. Charging extra for something so essential to the dish feels like nickel-and-diming customers and cheapens the overall dining experience. A better approach would be to either serve an appropriate portion of lettuce with the bulgogi or build the extra cost into the dish itself. That way, it respects both the customer and Korean tradition without leaving diners feeling shortchanged over something as simple as lettuce.

I have been craving Korean food for months now and I told my wife we have to find a place. we were in the area and after doing yep search we decided to go with Jen barbecue. They did not disappoint. We ordered the Beef combo. The sides alone almost filled up our table. We ate 2 rounds of beef and chicken cooked on the cooktop. Our waitress was wonderful she helped with the meat cook because we didn't want it over done. We had enough leftovers to take home for a full 2nd course. Pros: food was outstanding, waitress and staff was excellent. Cons: if you wanna call it a con, for all the food we had our table seemed a little small

Decided to give Korean bbq a shot and Jin did not disappoint! All the meat was perfectly seasoned and the service was speedy. Sometimes we didn't even get a chance to ask for help before the waiter was already at our table asking if we had any questions or needed anything. This was nice and chill definitely a spot worthy of a date night or a group hang out!

I had only been to one other Korean bbq before and the whole time I was scared to order too much since they make you pay for what you don't eat, so it was super nice coming here to JIN bbq where you pay for your meat combo ahead of time and get to enjoy it at your own pace and don't have to worry about getting full and having to pay for leaving food. The bright side to paying for the amount of meat your getting is, you get to take him the cooked meat once you leave if you have left overs. The service here was 10/10 our waitress & waiter checked in on us all the time, made sure we didn't need more sides and were just really friendly. The sides come with the combo meal, and are unlimited. I really enjoyed this place and think I would come back! It wasn't too busy, and it was cute inside as well.

Everything was great! Second time didn't disappoint. Yes I recommend. We had plenty of food and the Kim chee Fried rice was the bomb. The eggs and the hot Kim chee was delightful

This was my first time trying Korean BBQ and I couldn't have asked for a better place to test things out. This place is tucked away in a strip of businesses in Mesa. The parking lot had plenty of space so we were off to a great start. We walked in on a Thursday at 6:30om with a party of two and were seated immediately (they even had plenty more room available. Upon being seating, we had a staff member kindly walk us through how to choose which meat combo we wanted and how we would be cooking our meat. Jin BBQ has a great range of combos and a la carte options for main meats and sides. We ordered the Jin Combo 1 which included premium thinly sliced brisket , premium boneless short rib, grilled bulgogi, Pork Jowl, and the choice of a Kimchi stew or beef brisket soy bean paste stew. In addition, this combo included the following small sides: green onion salad, rice, macaroni salad, pickles, ginger salad, kimchi, corn cheese salad, and steamed eggs. The sides are bottomless and Jin BBQ has a button at their tables for guests to push, in case you want a refill on any of your sides. We LOVED the beef bulgogi and the boneless shirt rib the most as the main dish and loved the steamed egg and green onion salads as the sides. This was SO much food, you really get your moneys worth here and portioning is generous. The staff would swing by our table every 30 minutes or so we swap out our grill for a clean one which really improved the quality of our cooking over time. The only reason I would knock this down from 5 starts to 4.5 stars is that we waited for 30 minutes to get our check and wish staff would have been more attentive to that, but even with this minor inconvenience, we had an incredible time and we will definitely be coming back.

The food is SO GOOD!!! The portion is a good amount too. Staff was attentive and really thoughtful. The ambiance is awesome with upbeat music. We went for lunch! Will be back again because I honestly think this is the most authentic K-BBQ in town!

This place truly sets the standard for Korean BBQ! I usually end up with terrible heartburn after most all-you-can-eat spots, but not here. The quality of the meat makes all the difference, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is clean and modern, the music creates a great vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Totally worth the drive out to the East Valley.!I'll gladly make the trip again for Korean BBQ this good!

Great service!! Food was amazing. We ordered a combo - there were two of us. We had a lot of meet leftover. Sides were awesome kimchi, two different salads, dipping sauces, mac salad... K-pop music and decor made it all really nice. Will be bringing others to experience great Korean BBQ

Jin BBQ is likely the best Korean BBQ in the East Valley. This is not all you can eat but quality of the food is amazing and cost wise, tends to come out same price as if going to an ayce Korean bbq joint. They have different sets depending on what meats you are wanting. We typically order the beef set and we always have left overs. They have really impressive banchan choices including cheese corn, steamed egg, salads and fish cakes, much more. The servers here are the best too, they're always making sure you have everything you need including grill changes! Ambiance feels casual. The round seats are super uncomfortable though. Highly recommend !

I wish I took pictures, I was too ready to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the short rib soup. It comes with a little bit of green onion, you get the clear noodle and of course a good amount of short rib. That broth was SO TASTY. I would definitely say it's worth the try. the bbq I did was beef brisket, and all of that plus the ban chan or one person was perfection. staff were so kind & friendly. They are open all the way to midnight, which was exactly what I needed for a long day. The ambiance is the vibe you can meet up with your friends & get soju & enjoy each other company over kbbq! It's a yes for me !

My family and I were fortunate to have stumbled across Jin BBQ. The restaurant was clean, well organized and very inviting. The front staff and wait staff were the best. Friendly, attentive and patient when we were struggling with the menu and all the options. The food portions were generous and very tasty. I passed by this place many times, just never had the time to stop to eat. We came there at 5:30pm on a Friday evening. It was great! We were seated immediately and greeted pretty quickly as well. We all shared a soju, woooooo.... Strong for me! We decided on the JIn Combo A (Premium sliced brisket, boneless short ribs, grilled bulgogi, pork jowl, and beef brisket soy bean paste stew). That was a lot of meat! The little side areas on the grill are for the corn cheese, steamed egg, and rolled rice cakes. Those are unlimited! Oh yeah! So are all the banchan items! That pumpkin squashes was so so good!!!

Really enjoyed my KBBQ experience here at JIN. Dined with a party of 4 for an early dinner on a Thursday evening. Thankfully no wait. The staff were all very attentive and patience with our party. We ordered Combo A with the soybean soup, plus an order of seafood pancake. All of the meat was really good, but specifically the boneless short ribs. Great portion and value for 4 people! Loved the unlimited banchan. The green onion salad is a great garnish for you meat. Make sure to get you fill of corn cheese!

10/10!! This is our MOST FAVORITE Korean BBQ place! The food is fantastic, the service is even better and the environment is beautiful! We came right at 5pm and got seated immediately. We were given great recommendations and had such a beautiful meal!

First time here. I came here with two friends who had been here before and been here multiple times before. We got the beef bulgogi and the skirt steak. Both were good. My friends did make a comment that the portions seemed smaller than they've had in the past. The skirt steak was tender and good. The bulgogi was flavorful. They had okay sides: potatoes, picked radishes, egg, cheese and corn, kimchee. They didn't have the fish patty that I've seen at other Korean bbq places. The egg was my favorite side. The kimchee didn't taste as fresh as I've had in other places. They provide unlimited sides and unlimited rice so that was definitely a perk that my friends loved. The customer service was great - the servers were friendly and helpful and super fast! We never waited more than 5 seconds for any attention, and that was even when the restaurant was 60% full.

We had a great family dinner her and everything was delicious. It was so much fun to try out different flavors and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It's in a strip mall so it Durant look like it's going to be much when you get there so don't let that fool you. My only complaint would be the alcohol selection. Only sake, a couple of beers and rice/plum wine. Wish there would've been a white Chardonnay or red Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or red blend.

This place is AMAZING. Clean dining room, excellent quality meat, and even greater service! Unfortunately I didn't get our server's name (black hair with blonde highlights, very fashionable, my aunts kept saying he looks like a Korean actor lol), but I wanted to give him a shoutout for giving us such a great dining experience. He cooked our meat for us and made sure to cater to every whim, all while being incredibly friendly and conversational. He mentioned Jin was modeled after LA Korean BBQ restaurants and as someone who's from LA, I can definitely confirm it's exactly like the ones back home. I'm from out of state, but I'll definitely be coming back here when I'm back to visit!

I ordered a couple of dishes on Doordash because I couldn't decide between the bibimbap and the bulgogi. However, I also wanted to order a soup but stopped myself because I knew I was already overordering for one person. To my surprise, when I received the order, I saw that there was a small bowl of soup as a side dish, and the portion sizes were generous. I thought everything was really good. I ended up having leftovers that were enough for three more meals (ate them for two lunches and one dinner).

THE BEST KOREAN BBQ! This spot is known for being a top Yelp spot and deservingly so. The quality of their meat compared to an all you can eat place like Gen is worth the money. The service is always great, they are very helpful and make sure you're taken care of. They play music later at night which is nice and creates an amazing environment with lights and the smell of the meat on the grill. I've been here 10+ times and it's ALWAYS consistent!

Jin BBQ is the best Korean BBQ spot in PHX in my opinion. I probably go here once a week because of how much I love the food and service. I think the meat that they serve is the freshest and best quality meat. I've gotten a chance to try some other KBBQ spots but their meat doesn't come close to the quality at Jin. They also offer free cheesy corn and omelettes which cook right next to your grill as you cook the meat. Their service is also miles ahead of any other competitor. Waiters are always there as soon as you need them and they even have a button at each table that you can press to have someone come and help out. The waiters are all very knowledgeable and give great recommendations and will even grill for you if you ask. I had never had pork cheek before so I asked one of the waiters to tell me how to cook it and she went above and beyond and offered to cook it for my friends and I. Ambiance is decent too. It's located near the H-mart so you can get some shopping done before or after your meal. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good Korean BBQ restaurant.

Their beef and shrimp rice is so good. When you dine in they bring out extra appetizers before your meal.

Came here last Sunday for a friend's birthday dinner around 7pm. It actually wasn't crazy packed that day so we were seated right away. We got two tables next to each other. I think we had maybe 13 people. We ordered 2 large beef combos, soju, and a couple of beers. This place never disappoints. Meat quality has always been good every time I've been here! The kimchi soup that came with the combo was soooo good and spicy! I wish we got more of that! I didn't really care for the soju and beer since we day drank in downtown Phoenix and old town prior. They did give a bottle of soju free since it was a birthday. I highly recommend ordering the beef combo to make things easier but you can also order a la carte if you prefer.

The meat quality here is very good and everything tasted excellent! This is the best Korean BBQ experience I've had as compared to other restaurants in the valley as well as in LA. My primary concern is typically food quality, and I can usually take it or leave it with service unless a business is downright neglectful or rude. However, the amazingly attentive service we received from the manager really put this place over the top. He was very kind and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. We can't wait to come back soon!

I ate here a month ago with my boyfriend because I was craving KBBQ, I am so glad we stopped by the gem of a place. The food fantastic! The vibes even better they had the best playlist, and everyone was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in there is fantastic. 10/10 highly recommend.

Came here for my besties's bf bday as they wanted to try Korean BBQ for their first time with their fave korean girl! So i said lets do it and check this place out together out of all the options she sent me Jin was the one. So we came on a weekday evening, the place had quite a crowd already but we got seated immediately. We ordered the fried rice for my god daughter and it wasn't the greatest but prolly will never order that again. Then we got the short ribs, and spicy pork, and thin beef slices. All the meat cuts and seasons were delish, no complaints there. The side dishes were all really good and tasty as well, their green onion salad was superb!! I enjoyed it so much we had a few rounds of them coming to the table. Service is great, fast, and attenuative. the servers check on you so frequently we had to tell them we wernt ready a few times before ordering! thats how good service is here. not to mention food quality is awesome! DEF a fan and cant wait to come back for more!

We had never had Korean BBQ where we had to cook our own food...I didn't like the idea and didn't have any idea of what to do...cue the very friendly and helpful staff! They had lots of suggestions and were very helpful! They put me at ease and I enjoyed cook my own food. Seemed kind of pricey but we got a lot of food /"and it was all very delicious!!! It was a great dinner and a show! I will definitely be back! Try it, you will be glad you did!

Having been here a few times, with Dr. Joyce W. and Michael, we needed a great place that accommodates late night. Enter Jin BBq! They close at 12am! Plus they have Soju :) We ordered the #2 selection(again!) with amazing beef, both marinated and non-marinated including a huge steak! Pork which included cheek(?), pork belly, marinated pork. Not for the weak of heart but enough for a week! Please see photo. At one point I was eating so voraciously and with Gusto, I almost ate my fingers! The staff is super attentive and fill your ban chan plentiful. I enjoy seeing familiar faces when being here. The night we arrived at 9:30pm, they never rushed us out and were completely serviceable. Makes for a comfortable setting. Jin BBq gets busy but moves along quickly. Never disappoints plus they have soju. Enjoy!

My husband says five-star but I give it a four-star. He claims their meats are premium. I thought their meats were average. Sides included cheesy corn and egg that cook as your meats cook on side of pan, which was a nice accompaniment. Other sides include rice, salad, kimchee, pickles, macaroni salad. Overall great dinning experience. A quick dinner in and out in less than 1 hour. Servers were very attentive. Does get crowded but you can check in on Yelp! Late night menu includes fried chicken wings.

Jin BBQ provides an atmosphere fostering a pleasant and exciting experience that excels for family, friends, coworkers, everyone! The staff go above and beyond when serving their guests. My husband and I ordered the Pork Belly, Beef Combo, a couple of drinkies and even some Beef Tartar! Special shout out to our waitress Melynna and one of the Managers Justin for making our experience that much experiencer!

I've been coming here for about 3 years now and still have yet to find a place that beats Jin in taste and service. It reminds me a lot of traditional Korean bbq restaurants and does everything well. Had the Beef Combo and some extra foods on the side, quality of the meats is always impeccable. Will keep on coming back!

Pricy but delicious I really liked Jin BBQ - all the meats were delicious and the marinades were perfection. This is the first KBBQ restaurant I've been to where the fluffy egg and corn cheese sides are prepared on the side of the grill, and it was way better than other places I've been in Phoenix where it's served on the side. Or at least, it had the perception of being better because you could watch that cheese melt! My table went with the Jin Combo 2 because it had a good mix of beef and pork options. It's the priciest option but I don't have any regrets. It served 5 people pretty comfortably. I'm a sucker for bulgogi and the spicy pork bulgogi and grilled bulgogi were so so good. One of the pork cuts (might have been the pork jowl) visibly shrunk on the grill as it was cooking and it tasted amazing. All that being said, it is on the expensive side - $40 a person for my table of 5 for a combo plate. Maybe it's less authentic, but I've enjoyed Manna a lot in the past - it was cheaper and all you can eat, so you had the chance to try a little bit (a lotta bit) of everything at Manna. At Jin you had to commit to a combo or order things a la carte and get served a set amount of meat (though the portion was definitely enough to fill my table of 5). I would probably keep going to Manna in the future because of the price and all you can eat style, but I think the quality of the meat was better overall here at Jin.

Jin BBQ is pretty legit. Our table ordered the Jin Combo 2 ($150). Although there were four of us, there was a surplus of food! It was a meat paradise and it was a delicious one at that. I like that you can get more corn cheese and steamed egg whenever you change your grill. Gimme that cheese! Gimme ALL the cheese! Service needs a little work though. There was one really hardworking guy and one girl that tried to run away and avoid eye-contact. This place also gets pretty warm so try to avoid sitting by the doors and windows.

Wow this place is incredible. Service was great and the quality of the beef combo we got was awesome. We really enjoyed the steamed egg and the rest of the banchan was delicious. We were sat right away at 7:45 on a Thursday night and the restaurant itself was lively. Great experience!!! My new fave kbbq in the valley.
