Very delicious blue soy crab. The marination was spot on. All the side dishes were tasty and provided breadth to the flavor of the crab. In the philosophy of chef Anh, I don’t think there was any redundant side dish given.

The most delicious soy sauce crab! Soy sauce crab is raw crab marinated in soy sauce and spice. The crab therefore must be very very fresh when it is marinated. The crab meat can be easily sucked out and is the best compliment to rice. You can eat much rice with soy sauce crab. The crab served here is very large and meaty! The marinate is not as strong as those in other places. The taste of the marinate is light. But the crab is so fresh and delicious. There are many side dishes. All of them are good in taste. We went there after 2pm without reservation. Fortunately they can slip us in. The price is not expensive, especially compared with the size and the freshness of the crab.

Best marinated crab I've ever eaten. Huge crabs, so although the absolute price is higher than some places, it's much better in value. Very popular place. They only have one item on the menu. But they also serve a bunch of sides, including steamed egg and soup.

Make sure come here hungry. They only have one option and it’s a feast. Extremely fast service but I did find some of the servers to be rude. In terms of taste, I’d say it’s okay, not my first choice for food options. I think the soy sauce can be too overpowering. Still definitely worth a try if you want something new/different

Absolutely loved this little restaurant in Mapo-Gu. They serve amazing Ganjanggaejang (raw soy-marinated blue swimmer crab). The best way to enjoy this dish (as demonstrated to me by a local) is to mix up all the raw crab and roe with some rice and to place the mixture neatly on a sheet of seaweed and then to plop it into your mouth. I can only describe the ensuing burst of flavours in my mouth as ethereal. If life were a movie, the accompanying soundtrack to this scene would be a choir of angels singing in unison. Do note it gets really busy so prior reservations need to be made.

One famous Korean dish - the marinated soy crab, it’s the main dish served in here, comes with various different small side dishes goes well with rice and seaweed. Reservation recommend, so you are not going to waste time on waiting the queue. Friendly staffs they are happy to feed you, don’t be shy to asking the side dishes refill. 10/10 great experience.

We were so lucky enough to have a table from someone’s cancellation without making a reservation ahead. The food is definitely worth all the Michelin Bibs on the wall. It would be more appreciated if those ajumeoni could be less poker faces…

I found this restaurant for my Japanese friend who loves marinated soy sauce crab (ganjang gejang). I thought we would have to wait in line, but luckily, we were able to go in right away. The ganjang gejang came out just like it looked in the photos—very fresh and delicious. I quickly finished a bowl of rice. All the side dishes that came with it were also tasty. Although the price was a bit on the expensive side, it's definitely worth trying at least once. If I go to Korea again, I think I’ll have it again.
