"Jintana Thai Farmhouse has plenty of street seating and a to-go window where you can order Thai dishes like khao soi, massaman short ribs, and papaya salad for lunch or dinner every day. So if you find yourself on 7th Avenue without a plan for where to eat, you should have no problem finding a table here." - nikko duren

We ordered the Tom Kha soup and the Tom Thad special. This is a great cozy spot for the fall weather! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I recommend giving it a try!

Google
We just had the best dinner here! The service was fast and warm, everything was so fresh. Our absolute favorite was the Num Prik Aong which my husband has only had in Thailand—and said this tasted the same if not better! Highly recommend for a casual date night. We will be back!

Google
Jintana is the best. I usually get the pad krapow, but this time I got the krapow moo krob and it was delicious. Great service even though the place was packed. This is our go-to place for Thai food or a casual date night. Lots of vegetarian options! The tofu is so good (I’m not even a vegetarian.)

Google
Absolutely love this place. We do not live close but we come a lot. Some of our favorite dishes include menu staples and chef specials: - om neua (beef curry) = perfect for a cold night or if you need some soup! - nom prik aong = northern Thai special, great for two people to share! (pic included) - pad krapow = crispy pork belly, truly cannot go wrong. The spice level is great and I get it almost every time. The people are so lovely and attentive. The atmosphere is calm and a great date spot. Some restaurants are too loud for us, but this, while there is music playing, it’s low enough for us to have genuine conversations! Would recommend this place!!

Google
Here we go, another Thai restaurant in the slope! Tried Jintana and at first what feels like a novelty restaurant, it actually has really delicious food. Kept it simple and ordered fried rice and you can actually taste that delicious char due to flash cooking in a super high heat wok. The fried rice hits and I was not expecting it to. Well done guys. Oh the price is tire standard Park Slope price (pricier than most) but definitely a better date spot with the lively, colorful, ambience theme. 👍🏼👍🏼

Google
Best Thai place in the area, hands down! Love this place and wish we discovered it sooner. We haven't tried a dish we didn't like yet. Even their pad Thai is better than any of the other Thai places in the area. Very flavorful and you can taste the flavor of the well fired wok. Staff is friendly. Will definitely be returning over and over again

Google
Great service and delicious food. The green papaya salad definitely has more flavors with salty eggs. We order sautéed Thai squash with shrimp and the steamed seafood in a whole fresh coconut. Both of them were delicious and the portion was very generous too.

Google
Ben our waiter was so pleasant and courteous. The food was delicious I had the curry chicken Thigh and my boyfriend had the steak. The restaurant is a nice cozy place to go to on a date and with friends. I will definitely go back. Keep up the great job Ben 👍🏾.

Yelp
Stopped by Monday at Noon, and got the lunch special. Quick and attentive service. Great pop music playing, and I loved the decor. Most memorable was the mango sticky rice! It was perfectly sweet and the sticky rice had some great coconut flakes on it and so fragrant. I would come back to try this again and check out the outdoor area.

Yelp
Oh well, no more jintana for me. I've really liked the food here; but lately the wait times for pick up have been ridiculous. If they say 10-15 mins and then after 35 mins they have not yet started cooking the food, on a weeknight, that's just not acceptable. If an order only includes one of the dishes, that's not acceptable. If they promise a delivery window and then don't show up and don't even call to ask for directions, that's not acceptable. I'm done with a place that's not reliable and has no communication.

Janet Y.

Yelp
After my terrible experience with take out during covid times, I wasn't sure I would come back here but I am glad I did give it a 2nd chance. The food definitely tastes much better in person when it's served fresh and hot. Our go-to menu pick here is the pineapple fried rice, the massaman chicken thigh, crispy pork belly basil, and the Steamed seafood in fresh whole coconut. I'm still not a big fan of their pad thai but there's plenty of other good eats on their menu to try.

Lina F.

Yelp
This is the only authentic Thai place in the neighborhood- my favorite is their lunch special. The food is remarkable and the staff takes care of its guests. The ambiance is just your usual low key Asian restaurant- no frills

Han Z.

Yelp
Superb food, great pricing, & attentive (but not intrusive) service. I also appreciate the playlist. They've apparently the best khao soi in town. Friend just came back from Thailand recently and said the northern Thai cuisine tastes authentic & point! Ample portions.

Johanna B.

Yelp
First time delivery and subpar. A simple delivery order of Pad Thai with Chicken and Vegetable dumplings was very disappointing. The order arrived later than estimated which could be a partial blame for the dissatisfaction. Dumplings. Dough was stiff and hard at the edges. Filling was absolutely flavorless. Pad Thai. Arrived lukewarm. Chicken overcooked. Overall taste--bland/flavorless. Threw the rest away.

Ciara H.

Yelp
I have returned once again to enjoy my original try! Still tasty as ever and this time I had a butterfly pea iced tea which had a great flavor. The service was great and the ambiance a comfortable place for me to sit, enjoy a view and my delicious food on Memorial Day! Thankies again for an awesome restaurant

Angie Y.

Yelp
I came here with my family and we shared the gai yang and pineapple fried rice. The pineapple fried rice didn't leave that much of an impression, but the gai yang was really delicious. It came with a large portion of meat, and the chicken was tender and flavorful with a yummy charred flavor. Both sauces paired really nicely with the dish as well. Our server was very friendly too!

Lisa S.

Yelp
I was not impressed with the my noodle dish, the Kanom Jeen Kiaw Waan Gai. The green curry was tasty but was overpowered by the pickled vegetables every time I took a bite of both. The green beans were extremely undercooked while the noodles were somehow soggy. Even though the menu clearly states this dish comes with vermicelli noodles, the taste and texture were more like spaghetti which is used in an entirely different dish. Also when I asked for chopsticks, I was told they ran out. How do you run out of chopsticks?! Luckily I had an extra set at the office.

Grace W.

Yelp
Last night's dinner was delish! Had the crispy branzino and it was fresh and tasty. Great ambiance, service, and very reasonable prices. Can't believe this was my first time here and I live one block away. I will be back!

Tiffany H.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Short rib Masman curry had good reviews so I ordered. Service is fast n courteous. I love that they support local farms in Long Island. Spring roll is super hot n crispy. Wait till it cools a little or dunk it in the sauce otherwise you'll burn yr tongue. The shrimp pad Thai was good too. I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

Michael R.

Yelp
Tasty food. Comfy atmosphere. Veggie pad Thai was excellent. A perfect place to go after hearing music nearby at Barbes.

Jason E.

Yelp
Only had it for delivery but it was absolutely delivered, we got the Thai basil with chicken and the chicken pad Thai. Both amazing and really good quality. Want to come in person

Ray M.

Yelp
Food was really not great and had weird choices of veggies. Had green Thai curry and pad see ew and both had Brussel sprouts and other really bizarre veggies that didn't go (and that my dinner companion couldn't eat). Will not order from here again.

Yelp
Ambiance - don't get thrown off by the name thAi & Farmhouse, worst food and service. Food- second time and and maybe the chef changed as the curries and the flavors - as if it came out of a frozen box! Service - cheating customers on bill when not paying- so be cautious they have a tendency to overcharge you. Wine - Spanish wines horrible - cheap & old bottles tasted rancid. When questioned they make you feel horrible and embarrass you by being so loud. The serving girls & manager get very aggressive when questioned. Overall experience bad food, horrible wine choices, aggressive & rude servers and owner. Dime a dozen places around which offer better Thai flavorful food and polite and good service.

Alvi L.

Yelp
A casual restaurant with good food and friendly service. The interior is bright and warm, with lights and wood furniture. The kitchen is visible from the front door. The catfish dish is delicious and boneless - it would have been nice to have a few more pieces. The noise level is high; there is music on. Bathrooms are in the back.

Patricia P.

Yelp
The service here is so darn great. The menu has a great selection - was difficult to decided what to order for our group. But they were very patient and we landed on doing family style. Every dish was on point *chefs kiss* We got the following to share amongst 3 people: Papaya salad - great flavor, could have used more crunch Veggie dumplings - wasn't a fan, a forgettable dish Green curry with chicken arrived in a lunch pail. Very tasty. Wasn't as hearty as expected but the curry itself was marvelous. Fried fish with two spicy sauces - was excellent Pad Krapow - smaller than expected but by then we were nearing full so worked out! Topped with an egg And two mango sticky rice (that I promise I shared)

Margaret H.

Yelp
Food came out quickly, the service was very attentive, and the restaurant was very quaint! The shrimp pad Thai was mouth watering delicious , but the hai yang, not pictured, was not pleasant and did not look like the photos.

Amanda D.

Yelp
Honestly my all time favorite authentic Thai place in Brooklyn. Just walking down the street you can smell how amazing this place is, been here more then a dozen times! For an app go with the Poh Pai Tod (fried veggie spring rolls) the best spring rolls I have ever had. The filling is always different veggies, very seasonal and you can tell they make them fresh. They always come out insanely crispy and hot without being greasy. A staple every time I come. I usually go with a noodle dish for my main, the Veggie Pad Thai is my favorite. If your in the area for lunch come here! They have a lunch set that comes in these little bowls that sit on top of each other, it comes with a soup, two crispy spring rolls and your entree of choice. The Tom Kha Kai soup is the one I go with, it's so light but cooked so well. It always has great vegetables in it that are all cooked through.

Yelp
Am an avid Thai food lover but the food here was only ok and has the typical NYC prices. If it were cheaper then I would understand. Ordered pick up to go with classics like pad Thai and khao soy. Was a little disappointed - the flavors were lackluster though did get the job done. The khao soy was a little on the spicier side which was nice but also had a strong curry taste, more so than I've had at other restaurants. The pad krapow was ok - also a bit lacking with flavor. Quantity was good, just quality did not live up to expectations.

NJ M.

Yelp
Food was delicious and fresh. Delivery was fast and friendly staff. Would recommend it

Tim J.

Yelp
Weather is getting chilly and I was feeling somewhat unmotivated to cook for myself. So, I decided to look up to see what good restaurants I can find nearby and came across this place!. Got thai tea and pad see ew which is a classic combo for me. Pad see ew was good, but very small in quantity. I think the container they use is slightly too small for a meal in my opinion. Anyways, the taste was good and thai tea was great! If you are nearby, I recommend check this place out.

Samira D.

Yelp
I had an appointment in Park Slope and was starving afterwards so walked into this thai place that looked like a hole in the wall but bustling with people.....it was some of the best thai food I've had in a long time! The service was also really quick and friendly. Part of the reason I'm leaving a yelp review is so I can come back another time and don't forget this place! Highly recommend!

Jun C.

Yelp
Wanted to try a nearby Thai restaurant and picked this one. Ordered the chicken pad Thai no good: too salty and sweet and also creamy. Very upset thought traditional Thai restaurant have good pad Thai.

Yugi B.

Yelp
This was my second and last time coming to this place. The food and drinks are below average at best but I am giving this the lowest score because my partner and I were served smaller portions than our non-Asian counterparts around us. We paid the same amount as anyone else but we get served the smaller portion. This is unacceptable. Now for the food. The green papaya salad is a staple of Thai and Lao cuisine but the green papaya salad from Jintana's did not even come close. (Screenshot below were the actual portions served to us.) The pad see ew dish was over loaded with either vinegar or tamarind as it gave me a heartburn at the end. The massaman (beef) short ribs curry were disappointing; in the description it stated that the short ribs were slow cooked in their curry but the presentation and taste says otherwise. The beef ribs and the potatoes have no curry flavor, it's almost like the items were cooked separately and warmed up in the microwave. Would not recommend.

Cathy K.

Yelp
Was a favorite place before covid. Best shrimp pad Thai ever... unfortunately my experience this time around a few days ago was a bit disappointing. Green curry was so salty it was as if someone accidentally put in a bunch when only a little was called for. We were tempted to return it back to the kitchen but it was so busy near closing that we didn't. Also we came with a big crowd after a BRIC concert around 10:30p, and we were pleased with how fast were seated. Service always a highlight and lovely. So much water refills

Chiemi K.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh - not your run of the mill Thai, it's authentic and a more diverse menu. Lunch specials hit the spot, too!

Minh N.

Yelp
Please do yourself a favor and get the pork tenderloins. Moo Yang Hor Khao Neual - pork marinated with cilantro, garlic, black pepper, stuffed with sticky rice and then grilled. I'm still drooling thinking about it. Other dishes we ordered: veggie pad Thai, coconut soup, and the Khao soi. They were all pretty standard. Overall, this is a pretty solid place to get Thai food. Great service!

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Such a great neighborhood spot! There aren't that many authentic thai places and I'm so glad I found this one. Flavors are exploding in a good way not just salty. Everything was delicious especially the pad thai and branzino! They also have a great outdoor spot. Nicely decorated and spacious. When we went for early weekday dinner it was empty. Staff is very nice!

Reshma B.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my cousin on Veteran's Day (Wed). We were planning to go elsewhere, but because there was a chance of rain, I requested we go here instead because of the covering. We sat in one of the middle tables closest to the opening of the structure (which made me feel better about air flow) but were still covered. There were 3 other tables alongside us, and two tables inside. Food and service was good - affordable lunch specials with plenty of food (we split spring rolls, and I got the Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai). We also shared some sparkling Rosé (beer and wine only). Overall nice experience, and they didn't rush us (I'm a slow eater, esp with multiple courses). And thankfully it didn't rain!

Yelp
Jintana Thai Farmhouse NY BK Park Slope Five Stars This has been some of the best Thai food that I have had in ages. The Chicken Pad See Ew $12 was delicious. The noodles were perfectly fried with soy sauce. The chicken was thinly sliced and flavorful . The big chunks of Chinese broccoli were tender. The portion size was 20% bigger than most places. Covid Update: they have outdoor seating and convenient street access pickup window.

Kassity H.

Yelp
This has to be one the worst food I had for a while . The entree salad was super small for the price , the chicken and the shrimp on our salad were dry and hard like as we are eating card boards with a few pieces of lettuce for $14 . The spring rolls were rock hard too that my friend was having a difficult time cutting them. The waitress initially didn't want to bring us the knife neither, another guy had to bring it to us. When our food came the same girl server didn't bring us napkins neither, the other guy brought it to us. Everything came randomly, there are no order nor system here, the one waitress also had some major attitude problem besides the bad food. Waste of money.

Yelp
Had dinner at Jintana Thai Farmhouse on Tuesday night. I was very happy with the food I ordered, but there were some issues with the service that went beyond potentially being understaffed. Quality: Pivoted from our initial dinner plans to go to Jintana Thai Farmhouse. Overall I was very happy with the dishes we ordered. I started with Jintana's Original Pad Thai, which has both shrimp and chunks of fried calamari. The flavor was on point and it was a very healthy portion. I was a little less excited for the Massaman Short Ribs Curry, though it was still quite good. The meat in the dish was awesome, but I was not crazy about the curry. It felt a little bland and did not highlight the dish as much as it should. We also ordered Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, and both the presentation and taste were excellent. Quantity: Huge dishes, I'm surprised we were able to finish our food. Value: $14 for Jintana's Original Pad Thai. $22 for the Massaman Short Ribs Curry. $6 for the Mango Sticky Rice. Ambiance: Jintana Thai Farmhouse is located in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn. The inside of the restaurant is small, but very cool. They use posts in order to simulate an outdoor garden, which is furthered by the front windows that completely open to the outside. They also have a pretty large outdoor space with tables inside a structure in the road as well as additional tables on the sidewalk. There are two problems with outside though. The first being the waitstaff can forget about you. The second is the music situation, as a portable bluetooth speaker hooked up to a constantly moving staff members phone means lots of interruptions. Also, the playlist they chose was extremely strange. Crowd: There were two people eating inside, and one couple outside. The couple outside were on a different page. They spent the evening drinking wine and dancing to a portable speaker with its odd selection of pop music. The staff were as confused as we were, but the couple was having the time of their life. Service: It started fantastic, with food flying out the restaurant, but then our waitress disappeared after dropping off our entrees. We had to track her down twice to grab our dessert and check. Parking: A decent amount of street parking nearby

Eli S.

Yelp
I finally succumbed to my curiosity about this place today and stopped by for lunch and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Thai Pinto Lunch Set w/ Drunken Noodles (with tofu, no egg), coconut soup, and spring rolls. I'm vegan and they were really accommodating with swapping out animal flesh for tofu and removing the egg. Plus, they even let me get Drunken Noodles which weren't even on the lunch menu The outdoor seating set up was really nice and the food was served astonishingly quickly - probably in less than 10 minutes and all 3 courses arrived in a stack of lidded ceramic bowls which was extremely convenient because I could choose to keep whichever dish I wanted hot without waiting for anything else to arrive. The servings were on the small side which was perfect actually and still a great value for about $15. All the food was fresh and the service was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back!

Carman C.

Yelp
Walked pass this Thai restaurant and decided to give it a try. Food: 6/10 - their pad thai was good at first. It was sweet but the more you eat it, it gets so salty. Ordered thai ice tea but didn't get to try it because even when I was done with my food, I still didn't get it, eventually canceled it at the end. Service: 1/10 - there's only 1 server taking orders, asked for a server many times but he only focuses on the new tables. After taking their order, he turns and walks away as if he doesn't acknowledge the other customers. Didn't even ask if anything was okay nor refilled our water. The other table, that came after us, got their drinks and we still haven't gotten ours. We had to go in the restaurant to ask for our bill. And we asked for a receipt, the waiter said he go in and will bring it out for us. We waited 5 mins and decided that maybe we should go in to grab it, then we saw him taking orders for another table while holding our receipt. So we decided to wait and see if he'll bring it out to us after, but no, we had to go in there and ask him specifically for it. I would say this is the worst service I've ever encountered. Would not recommend nor come back.

May M.

Yelp
Jintana, you have ruined me. Its so hard to enjoy another Thai restaurant after I met you. Food so tasty and satisfying, not to mention it also satiates my spicy palette. From the soup, to the entrees, you can't go wrong. I even like the thai ice tea here when I find any other place way to sweet. Service is also great! I've brought a couple of friends here too and they all love it.

Anisa A.

Yelp
The most authentic Thai flavors I have found in Brooklyn so far. Anything Tom Yum- the sticky rice is addictive. Try the lychee or pear sangria's...just to be fun. Enjoy.

Ally L.

Yelp
So me and my home girl were craving some good ol Thai fried rice after attending the Biggie special. This spot popped up on the Yelps and we walked over. First off- it took them forever to seat us, then once seated, they paid us no mind. We had to ask for things multiple times to the point that I had to walk these long strong legs inside to ask. The waiters did not come around to ask if we needed anything. When I go out to eat, I like to feel comfortable because I could definitely be at home in my panties eating some damn rice. The waiter rushed us to get up at the end of the night because they were closing. It was just overall a bad experience BUT- I ain't even gon lie, the food was banging.

Charlie C.

Yelp
Decent Thai for the area , portions could have been a bit bigger. The papaya salad was mild so I'd ask for extra extra spicy if you want like it Thai spicy.

Kaitlin M.

Yelp
Sitting at the front of the restaurant, the Sun came in though the hand painted windows and warmed me on a cold Saturday afternoon. In that spirit, I ordered a coconut chicken soup to start. Like the Sun, the soup left me warm and feeling happy to be alive. The soup was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy and whet my appetite for more chicken. We placed an order for satay chicken and chicken pad Thai. The chicken satay was fantastic. The two accompanying sauces transformed the chicken to take on completely distinct tastes from each other. I would get this again. Then, the chicken pad Thai. The preparation was done expertly and the ingredients were so fresh. The freshness made all the difference for all three items I tried, and this is what makes this restaurant very special. I could overhear other customers raving about their dishes too. I am looking forward to returning to try their many non-chicken specialties.

Steph C.

Yelp
This place may be my favorite Thai place to date. Lunch portion was an unbelievable deal, I got the perfect sized Little lunch tins that my server Natto told me are used in Thailand for lunch. Tom Yum soup was the perfect size - a velvety swirl of coconut and broth with tender slices of chicken. My purple hibiscus lychee drink was amazing. I don't normally order sweet drinks and now I'm forgetting why I don't order more lychee stuff. I chose the tofu pad Thai with vegetables instead of chicken - not too salty, not too sweet - I've had pad Thai where the sugar was so intense I could not taste anything else. I feel like this place has a lighter, more homestyle flavor profile, which I greatly prefer. I want to be able to eat out without feeling guilty so I appreciate that they are able to make everything taste good without smothering it with too much sauce and sugar. I also like that it doesn't have huge chunks of green onion -I like my green onion sprinkled in delicate slices, like my mama taught me. I like that the egg rolls had layers of crispy pastry without skimping on filling. The dipping sauce was perfect as well. Honestly, there's not a single thing I would say or complain about this place. I would definitely come again, and bring friends.

Britt R.

Yelp
This is by far the best Thai food in park Slope! The pad see ew noodles are like no other place in Brooklyn and all other dishes I've had are so tasty.

Maizy G.

Yelp
Love love love to Jintana - food is consistently high-quality, and service is friendly and quick. :) it's clear the ingredients they use are great because the dishes are just that cut above the rest!

Dan B.

Yelp
I first ate at Jintana with a group of friends after a day in Prospect Park. It is a convenient walk from most areas in Prospect and right by the G/F subway stop. The staff knows us as regulars and are always very friendly and fun. They made noticeable efforts to ensure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable meal. The food was fantastic!! I split the veggie dumplings, green papaya salad and veggie pad see yew with a friend and drank a Thai iced tea. There's nothing I could critique about any of it! Loved it all! And the ambiance of the back garden enhanced the whole experience. Since there were about 10-11 of us we were able to have an impromptu "private party" out back thanks to the speaker and music set up by our server. I would absolutely come back here and look forward to trying some other menu items. 10/10 would recommend!

Justin W.

Yelp
I got pork pad thai and thai iced tea and my partner shrimp pad thai. The dish was too sweet and the meat way too salty. Thai iced tea was good and not too sweet. That made the dish way sweeter than thai iced tea. The service and the interior were very nice, though.

Esther J.

Yelp
I'm so excited to have a solid Thai place in the neighborhood! Discovering an Asian place on Yelp nearby, we placed our name down, and we were given a link to an app that manages the wait time. We waited next door sipping on matcha bubble tea. When we were called back in 15 min (we were originally told 30 min), we let the host know we were texted in. We got seated within a few min. We were seated in their back super cute garden. We ordered tom yum soup with their big shrimp, green papaya salad (spicy peppers), and panang currt with chicken with jasmine rice. It was filling and delicious. Service managing the line in front was a bit unsettling and our waitress seemed confused at times. But otherwise, the food seems authentic in taste but decor and ambiance a good fit for Park Slope hipsters. Thank you!

Emmy V.

Yelp
Pretty good Thai spot. Flavors are good. I have only gotten their lunch special which is like 13$ for soup, spring rolls and a main. Pretty filling for 13$. Everything comes out stacked one top of each other. They separate the tinned bowels for you to enjoy. The wait was a little long to get the check and everything packed. Overall I enjoyed the food and would come back again.

Joe J.

Yelp
I think I probably enjoyed the vibe of this place even more than the food. The service is just very charming - a group of waiters in their mid 20s who are all very happy to be there and to be hanging out with each other - it was kind of infectious. The food was good to great! I would say the super power green curry was very good, but nothing memorable. Not to say it tasted subpar or anything - I just won't be thinking about it after tomorrow and would definitely get something different next. On the other hand, the pad kee mow was *delicious* and worth getting again. I thought pretty reasonably priced, overall. And the food came out super fast if you're in a hurry.

Kim L.

Yelp
Great service and the food was so delicious with a cozy vibe restaurant. Recommend dish is seafood in a coconut and Grilled pork over Pad thai !!
