Came to this place this past Thursday on a cold night to try out their spicy chicken Ramen and wow 🤯 this place is delicious The noodles were nice and soft, but not mushy the chicken was juicy, and that broth was very good It was rich in flavor like I can probably just eat the broth by itself That’s how good it was the spice level was not crazy at all it was actually enjoyable with a little kick then we also got some fried chicken pieces on the side very crunchy also packed with flavor and to be honest the fresh hot Ramen on a cold night perfect combo 👌🏽 the place is very nice inside very clean establishment clean bathrooms, the customer service is great as well and they have a full bar. I highly recommend coming to this place if you’re in the area

The place was pretty chill and laid back. The welcoming always makes me smile. Food was delicious and the service was superb thanks to Mr. David. He kept on checking on us and making sure we were doing okay through out our meal.

Awesome and amazing!!! The food was perfect, exactly what I was looking for and needed. I did get 2 bowls cause I saw the Bierra fusion and I mean you have to try it. But the chicken bowl was awesome Creamy broth and very flavorful. 20/10 gonna do it agian !!!!!

We were seated so quickly at the bar and Kaitlyn took great care of us and made our drinks so deliciously! Definitely ask for her and I recommend the Lycheetini, and the Jgirl with a shot of Hennessy.

I had such a wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Alexis. From the moment we sat down, she was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive in a way that immediately made us feel comfortable. You can tell when someone truly enjoys what they do, and that energy absolutely came through in her service. Alexis was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain menu items, answer questions, and make thoughtful recommendations without ever making us feel rushed. She checked in at just the right moments and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted. It felt very natural and personal, not scripted or forced. What really stood out to me was that she also appeared to be training or teaching another team member during our visit—and she handled that with so much grace. She was calm, encouraging, and respectful, leading by example while still giving us excellent service. Even while multitasking, she never let the quality of our experience slip, which says a lot about her professionalism and work ethic. It’s rare to see someone balance warmth, efficiency, and leadership so seamlessly. Alexis truly elevated our dining experience and made our visit memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing Ramen really lives up to its name! The broth was rich and flavorful, noodles perfectly chewy, and the toppings fresh and generous. Every bite was comforting and delicious. Alexis was the best ever! Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back soon!

Jinya is a classic. They have several different locations, in the heights, spring, and Montrose, etc. They are all consistent with the menu and service everywhere. I love the shio for a clearer broth, but if you're a fan of rich, get the tonkatsu. Miso soups are also super popular too! I will say, I wasn't the biggest fan of the birria ramen, but I know it's gotten more popular lately in other ramen spots. They have good options for people new to ramen but it's a consistent place for the price. They have a selection of cookies dishes, ramen and different drinks (both alcohol or non-alcoholic). For example, they have Saporo beer available and non alcoholic cocktails. Service is fast! You get your food in under 10 minutes if they aren't busy. The interior of the restaurant is very wooden and Japanese inspired. You can also sit at the sushi bar and look at the chefs.

Always love the Ramen here. Also had the fried Chicken as an appetizer and it was yummy. Would love these made with 1/2 breast and 1/2 thighs instead of all thigh meat. But they were yummy

I have been coming to this Jinya location for over four years now and honestly its my favorite in the greater Houston area. The staff is friendly and attentive. If there is every anything wrong with your meal they are quick to resolve it. The food is pretty consistent with quality and we are big fans of the spicy chicken ramen with an egg added and thick noodles. We also enjoy their gyoza and salmon poke tacos. The restaurant is set up well for large groups or an intament dinner for two. They have a full bar and great specialty drinks.

Got the spicy creamy vegan ramen and it was so good! I'm glad they have multiple vegan/vegetarian options. The broth was really good and they gave lots of noodles. Our server was kind and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

Plenty of bar seating up to 15 people, ordered Tonkotsu Black- Spicy. Great location spot, quick food service and friendly staff.

JINYA is my go to comfort food spot. It's not usually busy, when I go. love the vibes and warm greetings when you enter! The salmon poke tacos and creamy shrimp tempura are my favorite apps. The shrimp tempura isn't actually spicy at all imo, but aside from that, the batter is light & delicate, not greasy, allowing the creamy sauce its tossed into to shine. The wonton salmon poke tacos are a flavorful fusion delight! The crisp wonton shells are packed with fresh, marinated salmon, adding a perfect balance of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The shrimp wonton ramen is a comforting, flavor-packed bowl! The chicken & shrimp wontons add a burst of savory goodness to the rich, well-seasoned broth. Each spoonful is satisfying and delicious.

I frequent this location often and their servers are always very friendly. They have a lot of seating options but they always want to seat pairs in the back by the bathrooms and it's a little cramped up back there. Beyond that, I always order their Jinya Chicken Ramen with corn and chicken wontons. It's great! You can spice it up and add more flavor to it with their sauces. Their appetizers are always good too. It's a chain but it's definitely not over hyped, their appetizers are good and their ramen options are great. If you're in the mood for some ramen and want a sure fire option the stop by.

Today my server recommended that I try the Premium Tonkotsu Red ramen and it was the best recommendation. I'm a Jinya fan but usually I only get Spicy Chicken and just recently I may get the Creamy Spicy Vegan. Today, I stepped outside of the box and tried the recommendation... I LOVED IT. Great location and friendly atmosphere. Will return if I'm on this side again.

I've visited quite a few Jinyas all over the city (check my profile) & I just wasn't impressed with the food at this one. One night, my husband and I ordered to go. As always, I got the spicy chicken Ramen, spicy, and my husband ordered the spicy chicken Ramen, extra spicy. The food quality was just OK. The chicken was so rubbery I didn't eat it. The shrimp tempura was OK, but the shrimp was a little soggy. Wasn't a fan.

Too over pricey for some noddle and 3 little pieces of chicken ,food is not bad is just ok But, it doesn't worth the money. I don't mind paying if the food is good in proportion ,I was surprised to see those 3 little pieces of chicken . Honestly I think I can get better food with more proteins in it with the same money or even less, won't bother going back to this place , by the way is hard to get in touch with them ,I ordered to go order they made a mistake in my order called them a million time and they didn't answered phone, I had to go back in person to fix the problem with the order.

First time in Jinya ramen but did not disappoint great environment and customer service!

Great location and people are always nice. Food is always good.My only complaint is that they play the music way too load at this location.

When looking for a ramen spot here in the Area , Jinya never fails . They are THE SPOT for ramen , I truly love all of their menu items . Service was great ! All staff very prompt and ready ! Ambiance was very great and very classic . Always will be there for when I am craving ramen .

As u are led to your table the whole waitstaff welcomes u in Japanese. Ordered the creamy shrimp tempura n couple of ramen bowls (great for tonight's chilly weather). Omg they were so very delicious! Food came out promptly hot n fresh! Our server was very friendly n attentive checking in on us often. It was nice n cozy with nice lighting . Great for all customers as a solo couples or group. This is easily going on my Top 5! Need to try all the ramen bowls! lol

The Drinks here were delicious and the food was great as well. The bartender did an amazing job unfortunately I was not able to get his name. The vibes were very calm and clean. I would definitely come back her again.

Fast service, all the noodle bowls were delicious, and it was not too full with people when we went for lunch on a weekday.

I was in love with this place until they altered the only batch of ramen I like. They changed from pork to chicken and they don't even offer the pork anymore so I guess this is good bye it's a shame because it was so damn delicious

We stopped here for lunch yesterday and we were very pleased! We ordered the fried chicken thighs which were piping hot & delicious! Then Caitlyn, our waitress, informed me of the "off the menu" spicy levels that go to 10! I happily ordered atomic but will try something even more spicy next time! The ambiance was cool as always.

GREAT ramen, normally I'd say a little overpriced, but this place warrants the price. It's on of our go-to spots.

My first pick for ramen in this area! The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion and the staff is always very welcoming. More importantly, I've never had a bad bowl. There are a lot of great options available, however my go to will always be Tonkotsu black. You can never go wrong with a black garlic and a rich pork broth. Although it may not be for everyone, I feel like it is the most flavorful bowl on the menu.

Randomly stopped by here to grab some food. We aren't from this area of Houston. The ambience and interior was really nice and clean. I love the decor. Staff was super friendly and food came out fast. All the food items were really yummy too. We thoroughly enjoyed everything!

Missing food from take out order, not the first time. Repeated back the order correctly but missed multiple pieces of the order noticed when I got home. Stay away...

A great late night decision to have a ramen bowl when hunger pangs that had me wandering for something to eat. I went with a spicy chicken ramen. The broth was excellent. Very well seasoned and ooo so damn good. It gave me that kick/ spark tag the body was wanting. While I can't describe a lot of the ingredients/fixings that came in the bowl, they were all pretty good. The one thing that I thought should have been more was the quantity of protein, in my case... chicken. There was not enough chicken in the bowl. That's the only thing that prevented this place from a 5 star. Otherwise it was on point. I almost decided to order another bowl but held off. I will visit them again.

Good service, however they don't know how to cook noodles properly and served me clumpy non edible noodles. The ramen wasn't even flavourful just salty. Wont ever be coming here for ramen again.

When you come to JINYA, come hungry! Start with the JINYA Tonkotsu Black, our perennial go to dish. It contains an extra meaty and flavorful pork broth: pork chashu, kikurage, green onion, nori dried seaweed, seasoned egg (you can substitute for a "special egg" which means just hard boiled). garlic chips, garlic oil, and fried onion. I repeat, you will be slurping up the deep, meat infused broth all the way to the bone. It's that good. The pork chasu is wonderfully slow cooked and soft and tender. I added the gyoza and salad combination. I would definitely would want a little more gyoza for the price ($6.80), but we gave one to each of my four kids and said that was their entire lunch (just kidding of course). On to the chicken and wonton ramen. It comes with wonton, kikurage and green onion. It has a thinner broth that leaves you with a little lighter feeling, but still is all the while flavorful. If you want something on the lighter side with less toppings, this is a great choice. I can say the same about the shrimp wonton ramen. Overall it had a more saltier and shrimp laden broth, but still was thick and flavorful. I so appreciated the complexity and the slight nuances of each of the ramen broths. Reminds me of some of the great ramen places that are so prolific in my hometown (LA). Overall, we love the fact that we can hit a JINYA either on 1960 or off 290. Sure the bowls are a tad pricey but that's what you pay for solid food. Great service by Linda as well!

The food was delicious, packed with flavor. I enjoyed my ramen until the rice bowl showed up and it was even better. You can choose to order a small or large size which is a great option if you're really hungry or looking for a side dish. Very modern decor inside. They are a local chain with several locations. Came to celebrate my birthday and the staff was kind to sing me a song, but would have loved to receive a complimentary mochi ice cream as a special treat.

Service was fast and friendly. The kids meal has so much food I was jealous! It gives you a little bit of everything. Every plate was delicious.

This was a cute location! They have a firepit in the center of the restaurant with seats around for dining. I always enjoy the warm hospitality from the staff whenever you walk into the restaurant & when leaving. Today I ordered the spicy chicken ramen. At first I started with mild but the server informed me that if I wanted a kick I should definitely go for the spicy. I'm so glad she did. Because on the spicy level I didn't taste anything. So she brought me extra for the Hot level and this was just right!

Really Good! Service for 1 was fast, my appetizer was Fried Quinoa Broccolini and I ate the Chicken Ramen w/ an egg added. The broth was good for a cold/rainy day in Houston Very open bar and plenty of seating for groups. I will be back to try the sushi rolls

It's hard to find a place that serves really good vegetarian Ramen and trust me I've tried quite a bit.) Yet, None of them compare to Jinyas Ramen. Their broth is full of flavor, and you get the option to add additional toppings to your Ramen if you'd like. I added mushrooms ,extra bamboo, and an egg .You can also select a spice level. I prefer medium. The portions are also large,so I usually eat half and take the rest home. Jinya never disappoints!

i'm glad that I am able to request lower sodium for broth for my Ramen. I'm highly sensitive with too much salt so having this option is great. Also, the extra garlic on the side is at no charge. We came at lunchtime and there was no wait at all, so the service wasn't so bad and quick. I've been here a few times and the decor has stayed the same since opening.

Came here on a Thursday night around 9pm, not crowded at all. Plenty of parking, and tables, available. The layout was actually pretty intimate. Usually I feel on display at JIN. Pleasant surprise. I was craving a Bun and the J Bun didn't disappoint, a little on the saucy side-- nothing too crazy though. The Ramen was perfection, especially for a chain. I went pretty spicy, but I like a da spice. Beware, that max spicy will get you. Will be back to Thai location for sure! Cheers

Service was quick. Waiter was very sweet and attentive with all 3 of my kiddos. We enjoyed the spicy tuna tacos the most.

This is my favorite spot to spend my lunch break. The service is usually quick so it's perfect. Their ramen so flavorful making it the best choice for a midday meal. The manager Gaby is very assertive too and thank you to her for giving my girlfriend and I a free dessert.

If you're looking for a little taste of Tokyo, this is your spot. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted by everyone with a Japanese welcome. The vibe feels like a nightlife atmosphere with great music, low lights, and touch of bright orange hue lights in key places. There are several options of where to sit: drink bar, food long table bar, group table seating (hibachi style, and smaller group tables. Our server, Sherry, was super sweet and friendly. We had a few questions about the menu since it was our first time and she was patient with us. We started off with tempura brussel sprouts and we also ordered from the kid's menu. The kid's menu is a large meal that has a small bowl of ramen, 2 strips of katsu chicken with rice, a rice bowl with ground chicken, orange slice, , lollipop, and a single scoop of ice cream (whew!). My kids ended up splitting one of the kids meal and we're very happy with their food. My husband ordered from the vegan/vegetarian options- impossible rice bowl and vegan ramen. I had the house Black Tonkatsu with pork belly. I'm happy we finally tried this place out because the food was definitely delicious. We will be back!

Johnny was pretty cool and brought out our food quick. Also his septum is cool and the ambiance felt nice and aesthetic.

The service is so good and attentive here and the food is usually good as well. It can be sometimes hit or miss with the freshness of the ingredients but for the most part, the ramen is super tasty. The ambiance is amazing for a date night.

Just wanted to say a few words, because every time I come to eat up here, it's a great experience. I was there a few days ago and Jennifer was my bartender. Super nice, extremely smart, and she helped me pick out and modify a meal for dinner. Lexi, who is one of the managers, stopped by to check on me to make sure everything was going well. Even though it was fairly busy, I felt like the most important guest in the restaurant.

We ordered a lycheetini, Moscow mule, crispy chicken and pot stickers appetizers, the spicy chicken ramen, and the tonkatsu spicy. Everything was great and Kevin was super nice and helpful.

The service was so good Alexis took care of us today and was the sweetest most helpful server i will definitely be back due to the great service and good ramen.
