Jiva Hill Resort

We loved this resort, travelled for a night only after a longer stay in Geneva and wished we had stayed longer. Room was beautiful and huge, lovely view over mountains and all amenities were top notch. There is fabulous smell all over but not overwhelming. We used pool spa, sauna all great. Massage was gorgeous! The dinner in Italian was nice, my husband beef was beautiful, my course the vegetarian pumpkin with truffle was okay. The restaurant staff were lovely especially the lady whose name I did not remember but had polish, English and French she was so lovely. They put lovely candle and chocolate decorations on desert for birthday! The food in bar was nice and prices are what you would expect from 5star. Bed medium to firm, pillow selection and nice toiletries.

Rooms are nicely appointed and modern but the a/c didn't work for us in the first room. Service is a mixed bag with some of the staff extremely friendly and polite. It was annoying that after acknowledging a problem with the central a/c they came and left the room several times over a couple of hours. Instead of just moving us immediately I had to strongly imply the constant interruptions were not acceptable. Worst of all the hotel manager seemed to suggest it was my fault for wanting a/c because "usually the weather was too cool for guests" (it was a hot day at the beginning of summer with the car registering over 26 degrees). The other staff were very pleasant and apologetic about the situation. Location is convenient. Italian restaurant serves very tasty food. Drinks at the bar not great.

The spa is just amazing, pool is beautiful and there is everything you need. The team takes real care of the premises always emptying bins and clearing glasses. I had a soin signature and maurine was just incredible. I enjoyed every second it it! Nife at the reception was great. Really recommend this place for anyone who wishes to escape the stress of a daily routine.

Our stay at Jiva Hotel as a couple, accompanied by our dog, was delightful. The service was exceptional and friendly, the Jardin restaurant offered delicious cocktails, and the SPA and massage experience were fantastic (we enjoyed the nordic spa). The only downside was the limited availability of “healthy” options in the food selection, lacking appealing seasonal salads or vegetarian choices. Despite this, it was an overall wonderful experience. Special thanks to Marc from f&b and Marina from the SPA.

Jiva Hill Resort offers a delightful escape with its array of amenities, including a well-appointed tennis court,billiards, and baby foot. However, while the resort excels in providing recreational options, its restaurant leaves much to be desired. The tennis court at Jiva Resort provides enthusiasts with a picturesque setting to enjoy their favorite sport, while the billiards room offers a refined atmosphere for leisurely games. Additionally, the babyfoot area adds a touch of fun and excitement for guests of all ages, creating memorable moments of camaraderie. Despite these appealing features, the dining experience at the resort falls short of expectations. The restaurant’s menu boasts an enticing selection, but its exorbitant prices coupled with disappointingly small food portions leave diners feeling unsatisfied. While the quality of the cuisine may be commendable, the value proposition is severely undermined by the high costs and meager servings.

I stayed there 3 nights and everything was great. rooms were well decorated and comfortable. staff are friendly and food was outstanding

The staff, atmosphere, quality and attention to detail was overwhelming. The ethos of the resort was to make you relax.

Definitely a five star, the location, facilities, room, upkeep and attention to detail is amazing. The spa facilities are very good although we did not try out the treatments. The experience at both restaurants was very good although we seemed to have a preference for the ‘Italian’ cuisine. All in all well deserved.
