Joejoebobs is one great sandwich shop. It’s in an old Subway location but it is at the polar opposite of the sandwich spectrum. They have very creative sandwich options and use top quality ingredients. The menu is not long but they cover all of the bases from vegan to tuna to cold cuts to Reuben, so everyone can find something to their liking. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and portions. I had the #3 which was delectable mortadella sandwich and my wife had the #6 which is their take on Reuben using a couple of improvements: beef cheek (super tender) and kimchi (complexity). We split them and devoured both. It is located in the Bashas center just outside of downtown. This makes parking and access so much easier! Try them out!

I think I'll name my first child JoeJoeBob. The Corned Beef Cheek Sandwich had me in a state of euphoric bliss. So juicy. So tasty. Every bite was freaking amazing, including the little cheese bits stuck to the paper. Loved it! I definitely need to try every sandwich.

The best sandwiches in all of arizona we got 3 sandwiches to see what we like #1 #6 #7 all amazing sandwiches sorry I have no pics couldn't stop eating. We are definitely coming back to try the whole menu. Amazing people amazing food no reason to go anywhere else but here they forever have my business.

My husband and I stopped here toward the end of the shop being open after visiting the Grand Canyon and I’m so glad we did!! Amazing creative sandwiches and super nice, friendly staff. We have an excellent sandwich shop in Madison WI called Alimentari and this is on par-quality, creative, fresh! Excellent, a must stop for sure!! Thank you!!

Great deli and lunchspot. High quality ingredients and a menu for epicurians. Happy to see more mom n pop options in Flagstaff, just like pre-pandemic. If you are feeling adventurous and want a quality meal, check this place out.

Sandwiches were absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care and details go into the preparation of the sandwiches. Tuna sandwich is not just a simple tuna sandwich, it’s the most flavorful tuna sandwich you’ve ever had. Same for other sandwiches as well. Plus the staff was super nice! (My photo totally doesn’t do justice to the deliciousness of it all).

Decided to stop here on our way back from horseshoe bend, the shop having exclusively 5 star reviews really peaked our interest and it did not disappoint! I got the tuna, which I have never ordered at a sandwich shop, and it was amazing! People working were so friendly. Wish we had one back home in Ohio! This place is amazing, check it out

If you asked me how I feel about Joe Joe bobs I’d say it’s the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. But if you asked me on a deeper level I would tell you I’m obsessed. The high quality mouthwatering food here saved my life. Sometimes life gets hard & I lose my appetite. But their fresh sandwiches, yummy toasts, & healthy salads make eating food fun again! You can taste the passion, creativity, and EXPERTISE put into each sandwich / plate. The new food items each week are always exciting & delightful. I am so grateful for Joe Joe Bobs. The buffalo chicken salad sandwich is my favorite but everything I’ve tried here has been SUBLIME, you can’t go wrong. Thank you Joe!

I do really love this place. It's a local sandwich shop and everyone is always friendly. The menu changes daily and rotates on what's fresh and available, so definitely double check their IG for their updates! Ordering is quick and food is made fresh. I've loved everything that I've gotten. I appreciate the different flavors and combos. Though they're fast, do expect that seating might be taken or that there could be a small line around lunch time mid-week! The four stars are about the prices, though I do understand. Flagstaff is expensive, it's fresh and local, etc. I wish it was cheaper so I could go more often. Sandwiches are between 14-17$ with no side.

Okay, here's the deal. Chef Joe doesn't take a day off! As you can see below that we came to his amazing restaurant 3 times while we were staying in Flagstaff. He knocked it out of the park EVERY time! JoeJoeBob's is a MUST when you're in Flagstaff. We live in Chandler and my wife and I will take a beautiful drive to go for a hike and to stop by and enjoy his food. His place has a great vibe with Album covers on the walls while playing some good music in the background. When you walk in the door you're in the best hands, because Madi is there to greet you and to take your order. The two of them make JoeJoeBob's a warm and inviting place to grab the BEST food. Do yourself a favor and stop by whenever you're in Flag.

Amazing sandwiches. I order over the phone and pick up in 15 minutes. Everything we tried is great but I especially love the turkey sandwich.

Sandwiches made from high quality ingredients. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Cookies are amazing too. Arguably one of the best sandwich joints in the state.

JoeJoeBobs was the perfect place to order from for a family reunion. We called ahead and they had many sandiwiches made quickly! The family was raving about the meal and were especially grateful for the gluten free options.

Wow! Neat new lunch space in the Fort Valley center near Bashas. Very delicious and healthful options. I had the sliced portabella sandwich and a cold side of beets. It was absolutely delicious, and I'm not typically a huge mushroom fan. It was cooked to perfection and had a ton of flavors. I will definitely come back, I would love to see even more options on the menu!

Can't wait to go back. Really liked how the ingredients were high quality and properly sized portions. I had the MacArthur. They also have Boylan's sodas.

I ordered the Turkey sandwich to go to take with us to Sedona. It was amazing. It was a big sandwich made with fresh ingredients. Loved the potato chips they put inside. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!!

Def stop here if you're in town and want a tasty sandwich. We are from NYC and have high standards for good food and this meets it. JoeJoeBob's has all the best custom menu and fun ingredients combined to create works of sandwich art. The service is friendly and they have nostalgic 2000s music playing from alternative bands. I ordered the Spicy Italian and my husband ordered the Beef & Boursin. Dipped in some spicy sriracha sauce. Chef's kiss!!

JoeJoeBob's offers a fabulous sandwich experience, crafted by two food enthusiasts with a passion for culinary excellence. Their sandwiches are true delights. The Flipper's Bologna sandwich, a standout since my last bologna sandwich was 40 years ago, was a revelation. The bologna had the delicacy and flavor of ham with exquisite fat, making it the best sandwich experience I've had in a long time. We returned the next day to try the Tuna Escabeche, which came on a toasted roll with a perfect crunch and a mellow, delicious tuna filling. JoeJoeBob's has quickly become our favorite sandwich shop in Arizona. Try this place. They knock it out of the park.

if you're from out of town and want to experience a true locally owned business, this is the place. It's a sandwich restaurant, everything is outstanding. They have daily specials and items for vegetarians and vegans as well. The staff is talkative and friendly, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and I highly recommend it.

I tried the mushroom falafel on gluten free and a house salad. They were generous with the falafel. The falafel has potential but the chickpeas were undercooked, resulting in a slightly crunchy and dry experience. I like the Swiss cheese addition, but felt the sandwich needed some fat to counter the dryness. The GF roll was good. The salad was huge and had a lot of pistachios (very fresh), dried cranberries and goat cheese. I got this to go, should have asked for more dressing. I'd say 3.5 stars, needs a few modifications for me. It was super busy, but they managed to get my order up quickly. I may try it again, perhaps order differently.

Found JoeJoeBob's when searching for a place to grab a quick lunch while road tripping back to Phoenix from Utah. Our group tried four different sandwiches and they were all amazing (Tuna Melt, Turkey, Falafel, and Roast Beef). Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant is very cute. Excited to eat here again next time we are in town!

Small towns...one door closes and another opens as do the restaurants. Tyler at Oeno mentioned this had recently opened and what a great addition to Flagstaff! Small menu that seems to change weekly, I've had their ratatouille sandwich, because who doesn't need more vegetables, and it was amazing. Right combination of tangy vegetables balanced with the creaminess of goat cheese. Last week my husband and I had the tuna escabeche as well as the beef and Boursin sandwiches, also excellent. Next week for the high fat count and cholesterol with the bologna or spicy Italian. Also wanted to mention that this won't break the bank. Three sandwiches plus tip was under $60 rather than an $80 hit elsewhere. It's located right next to vintage Basha's.

This is a really great place. Joe and Marni prepare wonderful food in a very nice space at reasonable prices. Two of us had the special of the day---a crab sandwich with pimento cheese and interesting toppings. The others in our party had other sandwiches and they were great too. It is really nice for Flag to have a gourmet place that features sandwiches and not only high quality sit down dinners. Nice mix of locals and visitors. Highly recommended... not to be missed.

Really good to go sandwiches. Made by the guy who owns the place. Nothing super fancy, just really well put together sandwiches made by somebody who obviously cares. Taste great too and about the same as you'd spend on a slap together mess from Subway and about the same price. I can recommend both the Italian and the baloney sandwich. Promise you won't be disappointed.

First time but will be back. Easy parking as in Basha's strip mall. Wanted quick lunch with son. He had the McArthur and was happy with choice. Sandwich was large and he took half home. I had the tomato feta bisque and it was fantastic. Should have ordered bowl to take home. My only complaint was too full for the white chocolate bar. Will plan better next time.

Have been a couple times and the sandwiches are always out of this world and so creative! (best turkey sandwich of my life) the cold case also is so good! The french fry potato salad was good and the white bean hummus with pesto is out of this world! Love how much it changes! So happy to have this gem in town!

We had the tuna escabeche and the Italian and both were amazing. One of the best tuna sandwiches I've had anywhere! The bread is great and the meats are high quality. I love the simple menu that rotates once in a while. Good selection of sodas and drinks but no alcohol. This is a great spot to stop for lunch after hiking or biking in the peaks during the morning. Glad it's here and we'll be back!

This restaurant was great! The owners were kind and had great customer service. The options change often which makes it a fun place to revisit. The ambiance inside was cute with several large tables which encourage communal seating, though nobody was sitting with other groups. Service was fast and efficient. I got my food to go and it was still great over 30 minutes later. I got a pretty juicy sandwich and the bread was still great. My only complaint was that most sandwiches were around 15 each which felt a little steep, but the sandwiches are unique to other traditional versions of the same sandwich and each was made fresh, so I understand.

We stopped in for lunch. My husband and I shared the Frippers bologna sandwich and the simple salad. Both were a great combination of flavors. The place was spotless with fun 80s music. Loved it, we'll be back.

This is a lunch spot for a sandwich, salad, and or soup. The menu varies each day. At first glance this looks like a Subway sandwich shop. But it ends there...the food is crafted with a true chef's creativity and palate. The last couple of weeks I've enjoyed the soups. One was a tomato bisque that was the best tomato soup I've ever tasted. The other was a carrot soup finished with a drizzle of parsley oil. Also one of the best! I'll be back.

Best Buffalo Chicken Salad Sandwhich I've had in my entire life, why get a sandwich anywhere else in town when there's a place like this?!

We haven't had a sandwich shop this good in Flagstaff since the Pesto Brothers Deli. Great local guys own and operate it. They have some very creative sandwiches. The Best Italians sandwich in town, by far. Other winners, the Tuna Escabeche, which might be my go to. They have a mushroom falafel sandwich with kimchi and avocado mayo. What? but it's really good. The other day I had their soup special and Chicken liver pate Toast. OMG, it was delicious. They had a Roast Beef special with blue cheese and pickled green garlic that was out of this world. ...it's a creative sandwich spot with better quality ingredients, don't go here if you want Subway/Jimi Johns or those prices. It's a little upscale, but compared to what you get when a standard fast food meal deal cost almost as much, it's not even close. oh, and they have some fantastic sides occasionally in the glass case, like a quinoa salad or macaroni salad recently. ...and don't sleep on the cookies, if they have them. They had a lime citrus cookie that was to die for, and an adult version of a little debbie Oatmeal cream pie that put my into childhood heaven, that they need to offer again dang it. Only thing I'd like to see, is some non sugary drink options, like simple flavored waters.
