For a first timer, I had a great experience. My coworkers planned to do lunch and chose this location. The service is amazing and the cashier was very helpful. She greeted us as soon as we walked in and was happy to serve us unlike some quick service restaurants. I was warned about the hottest flavor and went with the jumbo tenders (hot) combo. The cashier even recommended a sauce, the Jo Jo sauce that went perfectly with the flavor. I couldn't resist the dessert either and bought a pumpkin spice pie in a jar. To me, the HOT flavor was kinda mild with no strong kick. Also the breading was coming off of the tenders. The Mac & cheese and kale salad was on point. Next time I will try the fire in the hole!

Love this place! For any of you in the area with kids, all Joella's Hot Chicken locations should be offering a 'kids eat free every Tuesday'. Super helpful at the beginning of the week. The chicken is unparalleled! I've had the tenders, wings and thighs as separate meals different times. Once the thigh was a bit overcooked but after bringing it to the staffs attention, they were more than understanding. Great variety of spice levels to accommodate anyone's preference, but don't shy away from the dipping sauces either. The pimiento ranch was great. All around, a chicken eating experience that would make the Kernal sweat in his all white suit 😌🥵🔥

I would give Joella's 3.5 stars The staff is super helpful and the restaurant is clean. The mac-n- cheese, Kale Crunch salad, and Parm Garlic Fries were good. On our particular visit the chicken was good, but extremely salty. We're hoping the isn't always the case.

Chicken was undercooked. I am having to put the chicken in the oven to cook it again. I ordered a three piece and a two piece. But, received two, 2 pc boxes. I also ordered a large sweet tea and it wasn't delivered. The waffle was also barely cooked. The macaroni and cheese was hard on top. You can tell it has been sitting in a warmer for quite some time. Additionally, I had to pay an additional $9.49 for food that was subpar. Total was almost $70 for food that was barely edible.

Kimberly was patient, knowledgeable and had a positive attitude. After driving 12 hours yesterday to visit family in Newnan, the last thing I wanted was over-complicated. Went through the drive-thru. Ordered the Dixie Chicken Sammie - vinegar coleslaw, aioli mayo and 2 pickles. Had it tossed in the hot sauce - oil and spice based sauce. Unexpected and FABULOUS 👌 Got the side of crispy fries and of course in Georgia you gotta get the sweet tea. Everything is on point. I almost miss living here, almost haha. Will be back and recommending to my friends and family. Oh and to top it all off, everything was fresh and delicious

This was my first visit to Joella’s and I want to thank Kimberly for her patience and guidance on what to order! She did not steer me wrong. We decided on the two tender lunch meal (tweeter heat level) with JoJo dipping sauce and the green beans as my side. The chicken was fried to perfection, tender and juicy! The sauce was flavorful and had just the right amount of heat to it. The jojo sauce is not typically a sauce that I would go for (more of a ranch girl) but Kimberly swore by it, and I’m so happy she suggested it. It was a perfect compliment to the chicken! Finally, the green beans were so delicious that I drank the juice (potlikker as it’s called in our house). All around a great meal. I will most definitely be back next time I’m in Newnan! :)

My first time at Joella’s Hot Chicken and it definitely didn’t miss a beat! My self probably like many others first saw the restaurant on “90 Day Fiancé” and being the foodie that I am, I knew it was something I had to check out! Mind you I live in Texas. I was coming in for a graduation at Ft Benning and it was my first stop as soon as I landed. The inside was super clean and filled with cute decor. I was greeted by Angela and she was super helpful with explaining the menu and telling me her favorites! I got the lunch special with two hot tenders and fries with the jojo sauce and pimento ranchero sauce. Amazing, everything was fresh, well seasoned and fulfilling for the price. And to top it off, on my way out Angela let me try the cookies and cream pie in a jar, all I can say is wow, this is my spot every time I visit Georgia! Also perfect if you’re flying into Georgia and have to make the 1 hour drive down to Fort Benning, it’s a perfect pit stop for lunch right off the highway! Thank you!

The menu looked good, it wasn’t anyone in the drive thru line and it looked closed at first. I saw someone inside so we went to order, we were greeted then told she would be right with us. We waited about 3 minutes or more, which is long just to place an order. When we thought maybe we should just go inside she returned apologized for the wait and took our order. When we went to pay she advised she would get our food out to us as soon as she could she is the only one there and she doesn’t know how long it would be..... We asked could she give us an estimated time she said like I said I’m the only one here I have two other cars in front of you, I have to make tour food and bring it out so it could be ten minutes.... She just wasn’t sure and I could understand that, but we decided to not get the food. She seemed annoyed I’m sure from being there alone, but she could’ve had a better attitude about it and we would have stayed. She barely looked at us, she didn’t smile, she didn’t offer anything for the wait. It was just not a good experience and we were from out of town. Please get her some help and a little more training for busy times I also didn’t like the paper signs on the drive thru station area one was ripped and the written sign on the window seemed tacky
