This Place customer service is bad and not humanitarian - asked for restroom and was not allowed to use it and the workers there are rude and mean - don’t come here for Pizza - outside looks fine but inside is a horrible place to go for pizza and in general just bad !!! Find a better Pizza Place !!

I was in the mood for pizza and didn’t want to get the generic Pizza Hut/Dominos. Glad I stumbled on Joes Pizza. As soon as I came in I was greeted by Daniel. Sophia took my order and Ishmael served it up. Awesome team they have running the show here! Will be coming back for more with the fam.

Grew up in Jersey outside NYC and i’ve had a lotta pie. Hands down the best pizza crust in L.A. Instantly in my top 3 favorite slices, too. Good to the last bite. If you haven’t tried it yet and you like NY/Jersey-style pizza, don’t miss this; especially when this guy is working the dough.

This hurts to write this as I’m a regular at the studio city location. I was at a family superbowl party and were arguing over where to get pizza and I insisted on joes as his fabulous it is! Well, we ordered a double cheese 1/2 pepperoni and when it arrived it was cold, barely any sauce or cheese, definitely not double and extremely skimpy for single. So skimpy on the sauce and cheese all you caw was the cooked dough. $45 dollars for no one to eat it. Very disappointed

Decent pizza. For some reason, the location in Studio City just tastes a bit better than this location. Also, the guy making the pizza had very hairy arms, and as he is tossing the pizza back and forth all you can see is the dough rubbing against his hairy arms as the dough was being stretched. A bit off putting. We all know what's bound to happen every time he does that...gross.

So I'm not sure if this place is affiliated with the famous Joe's pizza in NYC. But either way I have been wanting to try them. NY style is one of my favorite style of pizza. So we ordered the New York style pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. One grandma slice and one slice of Sicilian style. I was a huge fan of the New York, especially the cheese. The sauce on it was really bright and flavorful. Really good crust. The Sicilian crust wasn't bad, but the grandma slice had the best sauce. We were told that it was a house made marinara. All in all, a good experience. Pizza was freshly made and the service was really good.

I'm usually a pizza hater but I wanted to give Joe's Pizza a try since I've heard all about it being the hype in NYC where the lines are long. Good thing they have a Joe's Pizza in LA now so I get to try it. I got the cheese pizza slice and they heated it in the oven. When I took a bite it was the perfect consistency of a doughy but thin crust with a bite to it. The tomato marinara sauce was delicious and had a hint of sweetness which paired perfectly with their cheese on top. I then put red pepper flakes, oregano, and pepper on top and it enhanced the already delicious cheese pizza so well! The consistency of the crust and tomato sauce base is what makes this pizza place worth the hype! I folded my pizza slice in half and it was the perfect bite. I want to come back to try their other pizza toppings as I already love their plain cheese pizza! It was great portions for $4.25 a slice.

The best NYC style cheese slice in LA is at Joe's. Perfect thin crust, delicious cheese and not too saucy. Perfect undercarriage on each slice, as it hold its composure horizontally as you get ready to load it into your mouth for that perfect bite. The beauty and the perfection here is in its simplicity. That simple cheese slice is perfect.

Definitely a top 5 slice of New York in the Sherman Oaks, Encino vicinity. The crew behind the counter are cool and it's always bustling.

Got the pepperoni, classic pizza with great taste. We grab a pie from Joe's all the time. Never disappoints. 10/10 would definitely recommend it to anyone.

You cannot go wrong with any pizza you pick. They sell by the slice or a fill pie so you have the opportunity to try more than one type if you buy by the slice. It's a clean cozy eating area with about 3, 4 people tables . Since it's by the slice service is fast. I also ordered a pie and it was a 20 minute wait.

My favorite of their locations. Do i wish slices cost a little less? Yea. I also wish my mortgage cost a little less. But DAYAM this pizza is legit!!!

The best slices in Los Angeles. Hands down. Not even up for discussion. Their consistency is impressive, they're always pumping out fresh pies and slices, perfect crisp-crunch, perfect balance of tang and sweetness in the sauce, new York style quantity and quality of mozzarella. Yum.

Love love love Joes! I come here at least once a month. The garlic knots are delicious. Staff is very nice every time we come in. Space is a bit limited but there are people who sit. The pizzas slices are big! I enjoy one slice usually and a few garlic knots and I'm stuff! I like pizza even the next day and tastes just as good! Fairly fresh as well they're always bringing out fresh pies.

I wouldn't call the pizza terrible. But definitely isn't great. Dough was very chewy with a bland flavor.

The Pepperoni and Olive Pizza is DELICIOUS! More than that- the customer service is extraordinary- we order "delivery" and sometimes call in for little additions- the Team there is "spot on"! The sauce is outstanding (we are from the New York/ New Jersey metro area). We like our PIZZA

Here's the good news: It's a real pizza place. Not too much trendy crap here. I'm sure they've caved to the ranch dressing people, as have most places. But let me tell you something, ranch dressing people, dipping pizza in ranch dressing is not only gross and grossly ridiculous, it is sacrilege, pizza-wise. Don't even call yourself pizza savvy if you do such things, just don't. Just because you see idiots on TikTok or Facebook or YouTube shorts doing that very thing in their car does not make it right. But enough about me, what about Joe? This is decent pizza. The sauce is a little acidic for my taste, but I enjoyed my three slices - two pepperoni, one pepperoni and sausage. Certainly, I'd order again as it's very convenient. Might try a personal pepperoni.

Terrible pizza and even worse customer service! Would not eat here again. Dude taking my order messed up and tried to make me pay for a pizza that I didn't order and then got extremely angry. After that they purposely messed with my pizza when warming it up and I had to hit mulberry street. Hate to leave reviews like this.

From having joes pizza in New York to finally having it 15 minutes away from my home, I am beyond happy. I wasn't able to taste a quality difference from either location, which is good! It means they are consistent with their items. I've been to lots of places where each location tastes different, yet joe pizza stays true anywhere The two items that are a must for me are the caprese and bbq chicken. They are about $4 a slice but are huge and made just right. It justifies the price of the pizza as I am filled with happiness with each bite. Not sure if I'm overhyping it, but this place is my top pizza spot Service is always good and helpful as well. There is a restroom and about four tables for seating. They also provide cheese and pepper to add to your pizza. As for parking... good luck since the plaza is packed

This is the BEST PIZZA IN LA!!! Sauce, cheese, everything delicious. They have all different types of pizza. Their meatballs and garlic knots are sooooooooo good! Everything is always so fresh and delicious! 1000000/10

I came here one evening after a long day of work and since I had a some lunch, I figured a larger dinner would suffice for all of us. I ordered a Caprese slice of pizza with sausage, an Italian calzone, and garlic knots. The people here were very friendly and patient, too, which made the experience enjoyable. Everything was scrumptious! The calzone was huge and took us several days to finish considering we only had a few bites during each meal. If you are ever looking for some good pizza and that fix for Italian food, visit this spot!

All good on this trip - my pizza was made well done as requested and my order was ready a few minutes before the time promised - Bravo ! Also my salad had an appropriate amount of dressing on the side , not the dinky little containers some places provide.

I was recommended this pizza joint by a friend. It did not disappoint me. New York style pizza at its best! I ordered online for pickup. It was ready promptly and the service was great. It's good value for money, a large cheese pizza for $24 is reasonable. The taste and quality of the pizza is on point. My son loved it. This is my new go to for fast, convenient, great pizza.

Was my first time buying a slice of cheese pizza from this place and paid additional to add mushroom toppings, and this is what they sent me! There's barely any mushroom on it. Not going back.

Surprised they have a location in SFV! Saturdays night I managed to stop by right before they closed. They were extremely welcoming even considering the were closing and logically most placed would give you death stare if you dine in before close...not here they insisted I sit down. Pizza consistent to Hollywood, the best pizza I have had. Overall nice ambiance. Make sure to try the cannoli!

Love getting pizza by the slice and it feeling like you got your moneys worth! Great quality, the only downside is that the pizza always comes out too hot, but if you like hot pizza thats a plus I guess I just prefer mine to be a little less hot when I bite into it lol

The Pizza here always hits the stop, my girl is vegetarian and appreciates that they have multiple options for her. Jim and Noah are usually here when I come in and they are always super friendly. Would highly recommend you stop by, best part is they are open late.

Placed an order for three pies online asking for them to be ready at 8:15. I showed up 20 minutes early and saw they didn't even start making the pies which I was happy because it truly means they make the pies fresh and ready for pick up the guys inside Work are very friendly and let us not forget the best tasting pizza in all LA.

Tried Joe's pizza since they were the only ones open so late. Pizza didn't have much taste. Would of rather had Domino's. Unfortunately not going to try again!

Three stars for overcomplicating the ordering process. Called in to place an order for a plain pie and a mushroom pie, I was planning on simply driving in to pick it up to pay with cash. A woman answered the phone and placed me on a hold--I hung up after two minutes and called back. A man answered the phone and said "yeah just go online and order, we don't do it over the phone". Not sure what kind of pizza joint doesn't take a phone order. The slices are always great but why the f*$& are we limiting ourselves to ways we can order? I'm 27 but am I just getting too old to understand the affinity for electronics and online ordering? This isn't Sugarfish, so I'm not sure where this exclusivity complex is coming from.

I love this pizza joint...! im a Los Angeles native & have never been to New York, but my friends says this is pretty close to his native pizza's. I'm a slice guy & sicilian kinda guy. they have both, which makes me a happy lil hamster. friendly guys behind the counter, which i appreciate. food could be great with shit staff, I don't go back. shitty food with good staff, I will return. How this place gets 3.5 stars is completely absurd. Here is the problem. To truly rate a pizza shop you need to order a fresh pie. My recommendation is extra cheese well done. Crust Cheese and Sauce are as good as any in Ny, NJ, The Sherman Oaks location hit the spot today. Also the price for a Pie $25 is reasonable. 9.0

Solid slice of Zaa got one cheese, one pepperoni, good crispy crust, sweet sauce, outstanding after a few drinks

I had seen the great reviews and thought to give them a try. This was the most disappointing pizza. I paid $40 and the the slices were burned. The crust was so hard to chew couldn't even eat it.

The dough, the cheese, the crust = Perfection. So good in fact I ordered another cheese pie the following day. Excellent NY pizza!

Me and my sidekick, my 8yo son, was out and about doing errands... He was hungry and honestly I was too but I didn't want to ruin dinner. Pizza by the slice....perfect! We were actually going to Sonny's Ice cream next door for a birthday gift certificate but they are closed on Wednesdays. So....plan b...pizza. Had seen Joe's but have never tried their pizza....SHAME ON ME!!!! Once heated up, my slice...caprese..was perfect!!!! Honestly, I could have eaten one more slice. Next time!!

Joe's Pizza ! What's to say about this place? Overpriced bad pizza. Sorry, that's really it. The workers look like they don't even want to be there, and they act like it too. Pizza slices are big, but not worth the price for a number of reasons. I came here twice. The first time I thought it was pretty good (I had the bbq chicken slice). The second time I realized I was crazy for paying so much money for a mid slice of pizza. The place itself gives me sketch vibes and truly accentuates the same vibe I think New York would give. A little dirty, with something getting ready to jump out at you. Don't really recommend because you might as well just get a whole pizza somewhere else, and when you eat here, you will be wishing you did exactly that!

I always come here, this is my local shop, and Jim is always awesome! My boyfriend and I will typically come and get a mixture of slices and there is never any left. There's also something amazing about the dough where you never feel bloated (such a win in todays food culture). If you're ever in the room for carbs or a late night craving this is the place. They're usually open until midnight! Thank you again Jim and team! The energy always feels at home!

When it's good, it's good. Unfortunately they occasionally burn the pizza. And it's no "the new guy" or a freak accident because this is the THIRD pizza I've gotten like this. When it's delivery, you can't send it back. I tried emailing them through their website and I posted a Google review and no response. Disappointing.

I've tried the food at Joe's pizza located in Studio City on Ventura Blvd and I gotta say i liked the pizza there more than at this location. I don't know what the difference was but it just had more flavor. The service was good wish they would've had pepperoni pie instead of putting pepperoni on normal cheese pie and throwing it in the oven but it was okay. definitely liked the other location more.

Love Joe's in NYC and was so happy to see one located so close by. Free delivery and the pizza gives me a taste of NYC. Delicious pizza and will be my go-to pizza going forward. The pepperoni is signature NYC and the white pizza with the ricotta is just delicious.

You gotta love Joe's. And don't think that I'm biased just because of the name...I promise this place lives up to the hype. I love pizza. All kinds. And I gotta say that living in LA has made me realize there are only a few places that know how to make a good pie and one of them is Joe's. Sure, they have numerous locations but don't that that take away from the authenticity. Joe's uses fresh ingredients daily which aren't frozen and you can tell as soon as you taste the pizza. They have a variety of slices available at all times of the day/night and the staff is always willing to answer your questions. Been going here for years and it's gotta be the all around best NY style pie in LA.

I am a native NY'er and have lived in California for roughly 15 yrs. I have remained loyal to this business up until 5/28/24. On 4/30/24, I picked up a large cheese pie for take out and was extremely disappointed when I returned home. The pizza was dry, tasteless and burnt underneath. I called Joe's Pizza and spoke with Gabe regarding my disappointment. Gabe was extremely apologetic and stated that my next order would be on the house. Fast forward when I called to place my "replacement" take out order I spoke with someone by the name of Ismael who was extremely rude and did not let me get a word in edgewise. Ismael then told me to come pick up my order without asking my name and hung up on me. After that interaction I chose not to pick up my pie for obvious reasons. I want to emphasize once again how Gabe's professionalism and good business ethics did not go unnoticed. It is unfortunate that this business does not recognize Gabe's capability and questions his judgement. Therefore, I will never visit this business again and I wish Gabe much success!

DoorDashed this the other day .. thin good pizza ( huge) got the all cheese along with the meat lovers .. my kids loved which is a plus !! Love that it's thin .. def reminds me of New York .. also good next day just plop in the oven and yum ..
