Do-It-All Canadian Chain Joey Opens Big in Manhattan Beach Next Week - Eater LA

"Canadian restaurant chain Joey is opening a new location in Manhattan Beach on March 4. The restaurant will initially operate as a patio-only venue with distanced tables due to COVID-19 guidelines. The patio is over 1,400 square feet, allowing for comfortable social distancing. The restaurant will eventually expand with an additional 7,800 square feet of indoor dining space, featuring dark wood, glass, and steel decor, and an art piece by local artist Amber Goldhammer. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as housemade hummus, pan-fried gyoza, salads, sandwiches, burgers, sushi, and butter chicken, as well as a selection of cocktails, craft beer, and wine. Operating hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, closing at midnight on Sundays, with happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m." - Farley Elliott

Best lunch ever! Miranda made us feel so welcome and was so patient with our large party! Everything was served promptly and we never lacked for refills on our drinks! If you’re lucky enough to come to Joey for lunch, ask for Miranda!

Had the BEST experience at Joey Manhattan Beach! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point—great energy, amazing food, and top-tier service. But the real star of the night was Ali! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our table. So attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable—she made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and it made all the difference. If you’re thinking about going—go! And if you’re lucky enough to have Ali helping you, just know you’re in great hands. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

JOEY is a whole vibe. The atmosphere is perfect. The complimentary bubbles upon was first class. Jamie was an amazing server. She was very attentive. Rashod came along to make sure we were okay and to let us know of the upcoming menu changes. Much appreciated. I love the decor too. Super cute.

I had the pleasure of being served by Paris, and she truly made my dining experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations, and checked in just the right amount throughout the meal. Paris has a calm, confident energy that made us feel welcomed and cared for. Even when things got busy, she handled everything with grace and a genuine smile. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and it absolutely shows. Thank you, Paris, for your incredible service—you turned an ordinary meal into a memorable one. I’ll definitely be back and hope to be seated in your section again!

Ricky, our server, was truly exceptional. A absolute 10/10! He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience unforgettable. His service elevated the whole evening. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere had a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Google
I spent my birthday/ anniversary celebration at Joey’s. Paris was our server. She was patient, professional, personable, AND friendly! I’m vegan, therefore, I had lots of dietary questions which she answered happily. She even made sure I had something for dessert so I could blow out a candle! Also, the tofu wrap was delicious!!

I was eagerly looking forward to dining at this highly-rated restaurant based on its stellar reviews and recommendations from friends. However, the experience turned out to be a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with some high points and quite a few disappointments. We booked a table for 6 PM, but didn't get seated until nearly 30 minutes later. They offered us a small table meant for four, far from ideal considering one of our party members is 6'4. Once sat down we had to ask three times for the complimentary bubbly drinks they offer to guests upon arrival. Then we ordered cocktails, one that was supposed to come topped with a signature foam, but this was overlooked on the first attempt, leading us to return it for the correct preparation. When it comes to the food, the ravioli was delightful, rich in flavor, and a definite highlight. The sides of broccoli and potatoes that accompanied the meat dish were also great. However, the meat was a bit stiff. As for the crusted salmon, it was served on a bed of bland peas and greens, which lacked any seasoning or distinct flavor. Parking was quite easy, with ample free options available since the restaurant is located within a mall, which might encourage a post meal stroll. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I can't, so I'm leaning towards a higher rating, because it was a nice experience, however did not meat the expectations of the highly rated and quite expensive restaurant it's supposed to be.

Had such a great experience at Joey’s Manhattan Beach! Our server Paris was absolutely phenomenal. She was attentive, warm, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our visit. She really made us feel welcomed and cared for from start to finish. The drinks were delicious, and the complimentary champagne at the door was such a classy and memorable touch. The food was also really good with great flavors and beautiful presentation. Paris brought such positive energy and attention to detail. If you’re dining here, definitely ask for her. You’ll be in excellent hands!

Yelp
Morgan is THE BEST!!! If you're lucky, she's working the bar when you come. She is very tentative, very sweet and her bartending skills are top tier!!! The food here is really good and I always recommend Joey's when people ask me for suggestions. The service all around is great (hence why I had to make another review lol) and it's a place that everyone can enjoy. I love it here :)
google avatar

Yelp
Caroline was attentive and caring. She was helpful in giving input on the food and drinks. I appreciate her time !

Yelp
Food- Love the food here. The price is great for upper scale dining in Manhattan Village. The Asian and American fusion is awesome. Free bubbly when you come through the door. Steak and seafood dishes are excellent. The drinks are phenomenal. Service- The staff caters to your needs, wants, and my water glass was never empty. Ambiance- Very upscale and top notch dining atmosphere. Super comfortable here.

Yelp
I had a great meal here on a Sunday night sitting at the bar. Unfortunately, I watched the Dodgers lose to the Padres in game #2 of the NLDS, the only negative on this visit. I really like the ambiance, and the entire staff was superb, from the host to the servers. The bar affords a great view of the televisions, which face out into the open-air restaurant seating. The food was all excellent. We started with the Korean Fried Cauliflower -sweet spicy Korean chili miso paste, toasted sesame seeds, 'B+' grade. My entree was the Chicken Parmesan - spaghetti pomodoro, mozzarella, cheese, fresh basil, 'A++' grade. My wife enjoyed her Bollywood Butter Chicken -aromatic basmati rice, papadum, house baked naan, which was an 'A' grade. Between the setting, service, and excellent food, this spot is a must.

Yelp
Came here for a company lunch and it was awesome! Service, location, and food were all great. Complimentary sparkling wine upon entry, all day everyday. Got the steak and crab cake which was so delicious. The mashed potatoes in egg roll was so unexpectedly fun!

Yelp
Flavor Budz, hey, how ya'll feeling! Stepped in on a Saturday, so you know your girl was out brunch'in. For those of you who know how LA is, walking into Joey's makes you feel like you're in the LA art district. Rocking out as a fashionista or vibing with your laid-back LA street gear. All is welcomed, greeting you with complimentary champagne and vibrant genuine energy. As I waited, I was engaged with pleasant conversations from Alan, my waiter who, by the way was was a whole vibe, super funny and very helpful. As he offered suggestions and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Mi Tai was also a great help as well. She gave us a heads up for happy hour, and that's when it was go time! (Lol) we ordered drinks and more apps a time was had. So, I noticed the apps were very popular amongst the locals. The lettuce wraps, and the Parm fries caught my eye. Have to admit those were my favorite from everything I ordered. I did order the baja fish tacos, but it didn't for me. None the less, I will definitely be back to try other entrees, the service, food, and decor past the vive check!

Yelp
Service- 10/10 our waiter was great. He was very welcoming and brought everything out in a timely manner. Ambiance- can get pretty loud as they do have a bar area. However, it is still loud enough to the point where you are able to talk to your group. Food- 10/10. We had the truffle fries which were phenomenal . Had the steak dips which as well were so juicy and delicious! For our main courses we had steak and some sushi rolls. Everything was spectacular. Definitely a nice place to have dinner at.

Yelp
Tried this place with a few friends on a Friday for lunch. Was seated right away and greeted with a complimentary sparkling spirit that was tasty! Miranda was our server and had great food recommendations. I was really surprised how crowded it was for a Friday afternoon- but the food came out right away and the restaurant had a great vibe and atmosphere. The food was delicious. We tried the Korean fried cauliflower which was really good, fish tacos with truffle fries, market salad with a side of salmon, and the mini steak French dips. The food variety was great and everything was yummy and fresh. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Oh, how I adore JOEY. I especially love this location! Complimentary bubbles to start your meal, great music to set the tone, and delicious dishes to seal the deal. You can't go wrong with the menu here. I am especially a fan of the sushi cones, Osaka pressed style salmon sushi, lobster and shrimp tacos, and Baja fish tacos. Portions are good for sharing. This place gets busy, so be sure to plan ahead. We made a reservation. There's a happy hour and a late night happy hour - score! The discount is about $1-$5 off. Parking is available nearby and seems readily available.

Yelp
Business lunch on a Thursday, seated right away greeted by our very friend server Miranda. Good staff makes a good meal so much more enjoyable, Miranda was attentive and upbeat for our entire visit, she was on top of everything, empty glasses were filled, dirty plates removed. She just added so much to the experience with her positive attitude. We had the Joey's burger which is always delicious and perfectly cooked, their famous butter chicken and lettuce wraps. All the food was exceptional. Can we give Miranda more stars please? How about employee of the month? Joey's is always good but Miranda just make it so much more enjoyable.

Yelp
ANY location of JOEY, never disappoints. Their steak is always delicious, love the vibes very chill & they always play the best music throughout the restaurant. some R&B chill vibe, even some old school music 2000s which i really enjoy. waitress also suggested the gyoza, the sauce was perfection,

Yelp
You're always going to get great service at Joey. But I have come to realize that I really enjoy the food from the Appetizer and HH menu more than the regular entrees. Today I had the steak with crab cake, and I do like their crab cakes but the steak wasn't seasoned great and definitely needed the steak sauce. It was cooked perfectly, though. I didn't like their mashed potato in the spring roll side as once again, wasn't too seasoned. Broccolini was good on its own without the cheese sauce. So yeah, I should've stuck with my first mind and gotten my shrimp lettuce wraps and tuna roll. It's my go to there and I am always happy with it.
google avatar

Chesty L.

Yelp
Came here after a long hiatus. Prices have increased, happy hour menu also got smaller and the happy hour drinks aren't always available during happy hour. They have also made habit to upsell items and if something isn't available, the replacement item isn't price matched. ( for a restaurant of this caliber, this NEEDS to be fixed. STK & Catch do this) Additionally wasn't given wasn't given the complementary champagne when I arrived. Had to ask the server multiple times for simple things (straws, water, ketchup etc) It's still a good place, but it's starting to make simple errors.
google avatar

Yelp
I am kind of a "be here now" person who forgets photos, sorry about that. Hand to the head the next day. I have popped by Joey a few times, I like it a lot. Today's lunch meal was just perfect! They offered a bubbly when we sat down, we shared shrimp lettuce wraps, the Korean BBQ cauliflower, sushi cones ( tempura shrimp), fish tacos, and I think that was it for us- and we really enjoyed everything. Service was great, atmosphere very polished and comfy. For my taste the shrimp wraps had a little too much sauce, so I might see if I can get that on the side next time, but the shrimp were so yummy. The vibe and the food are very nice, very much reminded us of a terrific hotel in Okinawa.

Yelp
Whatever good thing you've heard about this restaurant, believe it and times it by 100! It's really that perfect! This is where you go for a date night, girls night, drinks, dress up, whatever you want, come here for it! The food, cocktails, literally everything is 100/100. The ambience is my favorite part. This spot on a weekend night is it. You get a glass of champagne upon entering. I suggest a reservation. You'll arrive and will never want to leave. I love all the servers too.

Yelp
Once upon a time, we arrive in LA a little early when picking somebody up at LAX at 9pm on Sunday. We looked at Yelp and also a charging station and lo and behold, Joeys Manhattan Beach for that swell combo to charge and eat. And they were open until midnight on Sunday night! Count us in! We only had about 45 minutes to eat give or take and we had no reservations but the bar was definitely open and ready for us to partake so we did! Bar seating, happy hour at 9pm to midnight, Boom! We made a quick order for some potstickers, handrolll(cone), and drinks. All came out within about 10-15 minutes so we had time! Food was as usual, good! And we this place was nice and clean. Overall, as with any Joeys I have been to, Canada, OC as my regular Joeys, and now Manhattan Beach, all have been really good experiences, food and service wise. Recommend? You betchum!

Yelp
Ambiance: it's a very stylish chain restaurant, located in the heart of MB village, ample parking available, spacious inside and comfort outdoor seating as well, overall very dim lighting inside Service: overall very disappointing experience, although I really wanted to like this JOEY at MB, apparently my experience is way much better at their other location. The server mainly served our table was kind and friendly, attentively refilled water and patient with requests, but few other servers I've encountered with weren't so great. We happened to be seated next to a large birthday party group, I'd rather not being seated next to such a loud group at the first place, don't get me wrong, I felt happy for their celebration, but it's still very annoying when they took numerous photos while using flash lights, I understand it's not all the resultant's fault, but it wasn't completely full that night, and there were still plenty of empty tables further away, and they didn't have to arrange the seats back to back there if they truly consider all their guests, let alone after I asked for change of table through another server who seemed to arrange seating for the restaurant, she said she'd check what's available but then never came back saying anything, I just got completely ignored. We almost finished the meal and still waiting for the dessert, I was already so annoyed by the nonstop flash at that point and had to ask our waitress for the last time to find a different table, of course I tipped well for her service, despite hilariously the cashier made another mistake for billing in the end and I had to do the calculation and correct her step by step, totally speechless. Again, it doesn't have to be this hard. Food & Drink: standard JOEY menu, classic steakhouse with fusion elements KOREAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER - ** sweet & spicy korean chill miso paste, toasted sesame seeds, overly sweet and not spicy enough, the battered coating wasn't crispy and fairly soggy, the cauliflowers were shredded too much into small pieces SZECHUAN CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS - **** sweet soy ginger glaze, peanuts, crispy wontons, spicy aioli, bold taste and fresh lettuce, recommend JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKE - *** crab, shrimp, corn with panko crust, average taste INDIVIDUALLY BAKED APPLE PIE - **** hand-folded pastry, toasted almonds, tahitian vanilla ice cream, sweet and crunchy, balanced with the aroma from the toasted nuts and creamy ice cream, recommend Price: medium portions and overpriced for most items, not totally worth $50~$60 per person, I probably won't come back here and definitely not recommend this location to friends unless you're fine with quotidian food and lack of service
google avatar

Yelp
Great food & atmosphere! Met a couple of friends here for lunch. I liked this place! Four stars! Fries with Parmesan. Made well and tasty. Expected. Grade: B+ Hummus with added veggies: well made and tasty. Pita chips. Grade: B+ Poke Salad, replaced rice for more veggies: delicious! Enjoyed how the veggies were neatly cut and prepared. Nice mix of veggies and dressing. Refreshing. Grade: A- Service was quick and efficient. Server was a bit young and was a bit passive aggressive with service. But no complaints, as we got ample service. The host and restaurant manager were super nice and professional! Overall grade: B+

Yelp
Loved this location. Such a cute place but once the sun goes down, it's a bit too dark, can't even see what you're eating lol. Food and drinks were good. Seared salmon was def my fave, it was delicious. We also ordered Korean cauliflower, surprisingly tasty. Ordered all the desserts on the menu, they were all good but the butter cake was my fave. Our server was busy all night, but he was great. Very patient with our large group. Will def be coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
From the ambiance to service, this is such an awesome spot. We love the wings!!! Our server suggested we have the hibachi wings tossed in buffalo sauce and we were not disappointed. The free champagne while waiting for our table was a nice touch. I love the moody lighting perfect for night.

Yelp
Whether grabbing lunch with coworkers or small bites and a glass of wine with friends, Joey's MB is a great option. Nestled in the restaurant row of Manhattan Village, Joey's offer a spot for "everyone" with an interesting menu with Indian, Asian and American cuisine. I am a fan of the gyoza but really haven't had anything on their menu that I didn't enjoy. Prices are fair, staff is attentive and food is good.
google avatar

Gabi Z.

Yelp
I've visited the JOEY in Houston, so I decided to give this place a try. This location is just as good as the one in Houston, which I love that place! There's an outdoor and indoor area that's a great place to just chat with friends or sit at the bar and meet new people. I ordered the steak and sushi but accidentally ordered the tuna sushi instead of the seared salmon sushi. Big mistake! The salmon sushi was by far my favorite and more unique. I also tried the chicken wings... They were a bit dry, but the flavor was good.
google avatar

Jenny Y.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday dinner on a Wednesday weekday. Surprisingly the place was full to the max but we were able to get seated in a few minutes with our reservation. They gave us complimentary champagne upon arrived which kicked off our night along with a small frozen shot. The drinks were refreshing and opened up our appetite. We got the Korean cauliflower, steak & sushi, and tuna bowl. All were decent but the steak was a bit tough. My friend liked the sushi more than the steak... this is a cool place to hang out before a night out with the perfect lux ambiance. I'd say the drinks were better than the food.

Yelp
Got here early for a dinner date, enough time to grab a cocktail and watch one of the many games at the bar. Sat on a high top adjacent to the bar in the bar area, and after a few minutes was told that I'm not allowed to sit there without being seated there. Spoken to a bit unpolitely, it was a terrible way to start the night at this establishment. What made this more unusual was that the hostess said we could grab a cocktail at the bar and we'd get a text when the table was ready. No specifics on where to/not to sit. We found 2 seats directly at the bar and ordered cocktails and Japanese gyoza (no photo), and within a few minutes - got the page for an early seating. You have to close your bar check prior to moving to dinner. We had to transport our drinks to our table, but the bar waitress did help us to move our appetizer. Once leaving the bar area, it did get better and smoother. We had a great server, and the food was above average. Although there is steak, pasta, and seafood - I got 2 of the sushi dishes (cost total approximately the same) instead of a steak or sea bass. The butter cake (desert) was not a hit for us - a bit dry, though the ice cream did help. Not sure if I will return.
google avatar

Hanna T.

Yelp
Cajun Blackened Chicken, 5/5. Despite reviews, the chicken was just a little dry, BUT, that was a good thing. The kale salad and potatoes were doused with sauce and it complimented the chicken very well. I finished the plate clean and I don't even like salad and sauces. I would def recommend but I would try other options since they all look good and I think I could find something even better. The interior is very nice and it's a mix of families and friend groups of all ages. It's moody and not too loud. Our waiter was great too, very nice and attentive with our waters.
google avatar

Britney G.

Yelp
such a nice vibe! the complementary drink was cute, but we had to ask for ours as they didn't offer it to us at first. surprisingly, it was fairly quick to get a table on friday night without a reservation! we absolutely devoured the korean fried cauliflower! the server recommended the tofu bowl which sadly was a bit bland in flavor. my friend liked the butter chicken and gave it an authentic stamp of approval.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! The service, the ambiance and the food is great. Upon arrival before you go to your seat they serve you champagne!! Winning! Let's start with the service! Our waiter and waitress were so nice and personable. We had two servers because I think they were training. They did a great job. We had a peach drink! So good Crab cakes - so good- they tasted healthier than your average crab cake but still good Salad- so good Tacos - good Another cool thing is you can see in the kitchen as they make/ prep food. Cool experience. Service - 10 Food - 10 Ambiance and cleanliness- 10 The fact that they serve champagne as you walk in - 10 Did I mention, I Love This place? Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in manhattan beach. The service is unmatched. The staff cares about your experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing cocktails, food and service. Definitely delicious dishes, beautiful presentation of food. When I think about celebrations, Joeys Manhattan's is the spot, always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I ordered the steak frites...my medium rare filet mignon was tender, flavorful, and just delicious. The ahi sushi was so fresh and so good. We came here for dinner and the place was crowded and very loud. It's a nice modern environment--hip. The service was good. They give a complimentary champagne at the beginning, but upon being seated they forgot one person and we had to remind them many moments later. Only bad thing that night; everything else was great!

Yelp
One of my favorite places outstanding food and the service is top notch!! The drinks are amazing we always go to JOEY's for special occasions will not disappoint

Yelp
Joey in Manhattan Beach is a fantastic spot for lunch! The atmosphere is vibrant and stylish, with a perfect mix of casual beach vibes and modern elegance. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, from fresh salads and bowls to more indulgent options like burgers and pasta. I had the tuna poke bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch--attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made great recommendations. It's the perfect place to enjoy a laid-back yet elevated lunch, whether you're catching up with friends or just taking a break in the heart of Manhattan Beach. Highly recommend Joey for anyone looking for great food, a cool ambiance, and excellent service!

Yelp
Friday night dinner with my mom and sisters at Joey Manhattan Beach was a great start to a holiday/Mom's birthday celebration weekend! I didn't snap any pics of the Hibachi wings or the Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps or the burgers. But these dishes are tops on our list now!! My Mango Mai Tai was also pretty good!

Yelp
Good spot to chill with a group if you're looking for a more upscale environment. I've been to JOEY in Canada before, but this was my first JOEY in the US. I came with a group of 3 others for happy hour on a Monday and had a good time. Their happy hour is offered Sunday to Thursday 3-6 pm and 9 to close and includes both food and drink items. This location in Manhattan Beach is located in the middle of an outdoor shopping area. There's plenty of free parking in the garage nearby. I made a reservation a couple beforehand for happy hour and was seated promptly after arrival. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Upon checking in, we were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne which I thought was a nice touch. I was really looking forward to getting a bellini, since I'm obsessed with Canadian bellinis. Sadly, we were informed by our server that they were out of the bellini that day, so I didn't order a drink. Some of my other friends ordered drinks, but even at happy hour pricing they were $17, so I don't think it was worth it. At that price, it's better to order regular cocktails and not the slush cocktails, which as we found out only come with a small amount of slush. It's not like the whole drink is a slush as we were expecting. We shared a couple different items from the happy hour menu: Duo of dips ($9) Truffle parmesan fries ($11) Chicken lettuce wrap ($18.50) Crispy tuna roll ($19.25) Everything was generally pretty good, but the chicken lettuce wrap was my favorite. There was plenty of flavor in the dish. I only wish that they included more lettuce wraps as we ran out. Service was fantastic. I accidentally knocked over my glass of champagne as they were serving the food and our server replaced it immediately.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. When you arrive, they offer you sparkling wine. They had good music playing, and I loved the decor. I had the Joey steak that came with crispy potatoes, and a seasonal vegetable, which was asparagus. The crispy potatoes were interesting... They were fried/wrapped in what reminded me of an egg roll. And I Had a frozen strawberry lemonade to drink. Nice vibe/ambience.

Yelp
Our server was wonderful. The ravioli he suggested was delish! I had a bad first experience previously, but this visit made Joeys a great dining option.

Yelp
Have previously been to Joey in Woodland Hills & had good experiences so was expecting this location to be the same. No. Came for lunch and while all the staff were friendly, we found the quality of food to be extremely low. Then at these prices, it's even more difficult to rate it higher than a 2 star. The interior is nice which is part of my score. We started with iced teas but when we tasted them I knew this wasn't freshly brewed. Tasted horrible and our server confirmed it was out of the bar tap. I really wish restaurants would stop even offering iced tea if it's not real. Gross. Moving on, we started with the katsu chicken salad to share, which I would argue isn't a salad at all. It's a fried piece of chicken on the bottom with some Asian style slaw placed on top. Not great and a bit overdressed. My husband had the butter chicken (which we have gotten before at the WH location) and the chicken was unusually tough. He didn't eat most of it. The biggest offender here though, was my meal- the steak&sushi. I went with the sirloin option at a $7 upcharge, so $42 total. When the server brought it out I was grossed out. There was a deep tendon running throughout the steak, I don't know how the kitchen even thought this was ok to send out. I tried one piece that looked the "most ok" out of the pieces and it was beyond chewy. I told the server and he said they would remake the steak, the second one he brought out was better but still a very poor quality piece of meat. And the salmon sushi component did not taste fresh as well. Just overall not good. Our bill was not adjusted. We won't come here again.

Yelp
Really dope spot. I love the layout of this place. The MB location is beautiful and has an open airy floor plan which I love. Service is always good. The food is incredibly delicious. A bit pricey compared to other places, but a great place to host visitors or have a lunch meeting!

Yelp
We popped in at Joey MB for happy hour and we're not disappointed. I loved looking into the kitchen and being able to peek at what other patrons were eating on the patio. The hostess offered sparkling wine before seating us and we knew this place was an excellent choice. Our server Isaiah made certain that my friend and I were attended to throughout our meal. He made delicious suggestions for our cocktails! We are excited to return for the evening happy hour to compare, for scientific research. The sushi cone, sliders, fries, and tuna & avocado crunch roll were top tier - definitely *not* typical sub par bar food. The restaurant was busy as the night went on, but felt intimate enough to provide a cozy feel.

Yelp
I've come to Joeys on a couple different occasions and it's a great spot for a nice dinner. The location is beautiful and the service is good as well. They give you complementary champagne as you enter the restaurant! My favorite item I've had here is the Szechuan shrimp, lettuce wraps! The shrimp was crispy with the delicious Szechuan sauce which paired amazing with the lettuce wraps. It was light and delicious. I've also gotten the steak here which was pretty good. Their sushi is good too. This is a solid restaurant!

Yelp
Top notch and their aim to please is totally evident!. Not stuffy but quality upper class. Food and drink are best as can be...whether you order the burger or Fillet minion. What will keep your attention if you're seated toward the rear is the clear view of the professionally ran kitchen. Appearance resembling a clean room of a science lab! And staffed to the maximum. The fillet Amd crab cakes hit a bullseye ! The open air dining available at the entrance is inviting. Worth the price and venture.

Yelp
Love the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. We had lunch here and it was ridiculously delicious. My first time here with my crew. We enjoyed the Chicken Wraps that were freshly made, and lots of good seasonings. Nice spot out near the beach. Good service. I am loving it.

Yelp
First time. Party of two with a reservation. The restaurant starts you on a high with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Entree #1: steak and 6 piece salmon roll. Steak was cooked perfectly. The roll melted in my mouth. 10/10 Entree #2: classic sirloin. The crispy potatoes were interesting and good. Drinks: expensive martini and the server did not leave the shaker. The aperol spritz was 2/10. Service was just ok. Overall, I would go back for the food.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and vibe here! The parking is free and easy. The food is always incredible at any JOEY location but this one being about a mile from my favorite beach is just perfect! Get the peach bellini! My go to with the sushi roll! Chefs kiss!

Yelp
My second Joeys experience was just as delicious as the first!! I prefer the Newport location because of the giant outdoor area. However, the food, drinks and service are amazing at both.
