This is on a nice corner - large windows allow a view inside, which features nice lighting accents, a beautiful bar, and white tablecloth service.
We had a reservation, and when we arrived we were promptly seated at a nice table. A server arrived, introduced herself, and provided water to the table. A few moments later, the waiter arrived, introduced himself and provided menus and a wine list.
Shortly after that, a loaf of bread arrived - 6 slices, with nicely salted butter. It was a nice loaf, with a crispy crust that went well with the salted butter.
Some things to consider: the sides are "family" size. We all ordered their hash browns, but honestly, it was so large we all took most of it home.
To start with, my wife and I split a Caesar salad, which had white anchovies which was quite good. The croutons were good, and the parmesan cheese on the top was abundant.
For entrees, I selected their 14 ounce Sirloin, which was a bottom cut, medium rare. My wife selected their Surf & Turf which had a filet and two scallops, while my son had their scallop dinner.
My sirloin was cooked properly, seasoned properly, and was delicious. While it is a tougher cut than a tenderloin, it was so flavorful that it was a delight. My wife enjoyed her Surf & Turf, and my son enjoyed his scallops.
One thing we all noted - the hash browns (my wife and son got the standard, I tried the loaded) were too salty. My wife noted "I really like salt, and these are too salty."
We ordered a nice bottle of wine - corkage seemed a bit above market rate at 4 to 5 times street values, but you get really good service here. The wine glassware was very nice.
I wish we could have tried dessert, but unfortunately, the hash browns were too filling.
So this place has ambience, it has excellent service, and excellent food. What's not to like?
