I first tried Johnny Doughnuts years ago, but thought their donuts were too dense. However, they have so many different flavors/types of donuts, I decided to give some other donuts a try, especially since I was already in this plaza. They were busy but there was only a short line at 1:30pm on a Saturday. There was still a huge variety of donuts available, and it didn't seem like they had sold out of anything yet. I tried:

-Cinnamon Sugar Crodough ($4.75): Good, but not great. This actually had a vanilla custard filling, and that was solid, but the actual crodough was more chewy than buttery/flaky. This was worth trying, but I wouldn't order this again.
-Fritter Thang (w/Blueberries, $4.50): I didn't realize this was gluten free until after I had ordered it. I was excited since this looked like it could be a great fritter, with a super crispy exterior; however, it was way too dense. I also didn't like the intense flavor of the different spices they used (nutmeg, cloves, and/or cinnamon?)- skip!
-Sweet Potato Glazed ($3.75): This was a solid donut, but slightly dry in the middle. I liked the subtle sweet potato flavor, but it needed a little more glaze/sweetness.
Unfortunately, there weren't any donuts that I fell in love with during this visit. However, there are still many more flavors to try, and I would come back if in the area (especially for the tropical fruit filled donuts). I also want to give their coffees a try, since they have unique drinks such as the brown butter latte. There are a few tables available for outdoor seating, but no indoor seating is available since they just have counter/window for you to order from. There was plenty of parking available in this plaza, since there were a lot of spots.
