Chung Chun Rice Dog Opens Its First Seattle Location - Eater Seattle

"Two former Microsoft employees have opened up a new pizzeria called Johnny Mo’s in the spot formerly occupied by the original Red Robin’s, which closed in 2010. The restaurant serves up both New York thin crust pies and Chicago-style deep dish, in an apparent attempt to bridge divisive pizza partisanship (the co-owners had different tastes). There are also local beers, wine, and a few cocktails, such as hibiscus margaritas and pomegranate juice mojitos, which should pair well with any cheese-based debate." - Megan Hill

Disappointment was the theme of this "hybrid" pizza joint. Johnny Mo's claims to have the best of both worlds- true Chicago pies and NY style. I ordered a veggie Chicago and it came out nothing less than an insult to the style. It's one layer of dough shoved into a pan with toppings, way too much sauce, and rubber cheese mounded on top. Most of the toppings were on one half and it barely filled half the height of the pan. The crust was tasteless and inedible around the edges. I also had the garlic knots which didn't dazzle in the least as they were overdone. Service was slow as they only had one person bartending and serving. I hope the partner that passed away wasn't the Chicago half and they didn't have to witness this mess.

Used to love this place, but got a hot honey deep dish to go. Didn’t check it till I got home and it’s burnt, the crust is really hard, missing the hot honey, and overall a sad experience. Parking is also tough in the area, but friendly staff

The place is full of lovely staff and you feel it the way they pour out their attention on you! Though the place was packed but still everyone’s presence was appreciated! We ordered a big Veggie pizza, it was gluten free and had the thinnest crust and tasted yummm! The ginger breadsticks are tasty too which I accompanied with my mocktail🙂 The best thing is if you sit in the patio you can have a glimpse of mountains, water and the soothing sunset 🕶️ Place is worth a visit!

I was disappointed with Johnny Mo‘s pizzeria. Everything was good besides the food, just wasn’t the right flavor, texture, quality that I anticipated. I don’t think I would come back.

We had a great experience sitting outside on a beautiful evening. Our kiddo enjoyed the Vodka Penne while we devoured the Sweety Pie pizza which is finished with a drizzle of hot honey. Delicious!

Google
Crust on this pizza is great! I've been here a couple of times a recommend the classic pep but I tried some special that was definitely different something with like shrimp and white sauce. I wish they served slices! Fast, great staff, solid little corner spot to tempt you while you're walking around the neighborhood! Definitely deserves a drop in especially if you're in the area!

We ordered our food online to go, but had dropped in for a drink while we waited. It was Friday night, the place was packed, and the staff was really hopping. And, despite all that, we were seated almost immediately, treated kindly and with a smile, given our ice water and some really excellent pours of wine and a vodka martini, and sent home with truly satisfying pasta (I highly recommend the vodka pasta) and jalapeño poppers and their arugula and prosciutto salad. Just love this place, their food, and the atmosphere.

Google
Great little place in Eastlake! Can't say anything about the Chicago style pizza, but their NY style is definitely worth a try! The cheese bread is lackluster. Dough and flavor are fine, but the lack of cheese really does it in for me. Skip it if you're a true cheese lover. The neighborhood ambiance is worth it all by itself if all you want is to have some drinks and enjoy some 'za!

Yelp
We were craving a pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad, and Yelp suggested we check out Johnny Mo's. It was a five star experience in all areas. The food was solid and service was prompt and professional. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
I was into trying a new (to me) deep dish spot so we came here. The pizza tasted good. It wasn't bad at all. Let's say that upfront. I would give it 3.5 overall if I could. 1. Pizza was watery. Kind of a mess compared to other deep dish I've liked - West of Chicago, Windy City, Patxi (RIP), Lou Malnati (okay, not local), etc. Tasted fine but not amazing and we didn't want to take the more than 1/2 pie home. It's probably 3.5 for me. I wish I had done the non-deep dish, actually, because it looks better. 2. Garlic knots - these were a 2. Kind of oddly spicy and the seasoning I didn't love. I like them more basic. Not terrible but could have given them a pass. 3. Parking - there isn't any. It is kind of a cluster of a corner and no real street parking, so that's a negative We also had a house salad. It was fine. The service sitting at the bar was friendly and attentive so that was a plus. They had said 40 mins for the pizza but it was quicker. Overall, it is pretty okay. I maybe wouldn't go back because I didn't love the deep-dish and the parking is tough, but I wouldn't turn it down if someone took me.

Yelp
I've had pizza from this place, it's always been stellar. I work at the Tyee Yacht Club and we order from them on the nights that we're not doing food. Our bosses are great! So... I've been craving pizza and I was going to the venue to juice and then work. I ordered a pizza and then walked up and got it. I used my Apple Pay and it didn't give me a tip option. I planned to take cash, but I forgot to take it with me. I realized my mistake and told them "crap, I forgot to bring you cash for a tip, I'll bring it back up to you I'm only a block away". They were really nice and said not to worry about it, but I do worry about that, I've worked for tips and I tip heavy. So, on the corner on the right across the street is a homeless woman who stays in the neighborhood. When I crossed the street I asked her if she wanted a piece of pizza. Of course she said yes, it's pizza! That's when I saw that there was basically no protesting on it. I counted 22 pieces for 32$. Two of the pieces literally has 1 1/2 pieces of pepperoni. Because one has been split when the cut it half. I was stunned, I just went back to work and did my stuff and ate pizza. I didn't take a tip back. I should have walked back across the street and asked them "What the heck?" But I didn't. But it bugged me. So here I am making a post that I don't make. Until today. My point is, this sucks. It doesn't matter if someone tips. You should always represent the food the same every time. You work for a business that pays your wage. Your job is to represent the company you work for. Tips are the side piece. So I got a mediocre pizza from a great pizza restaurant and I'm pretty sure it's because I wasn't able to tip on the payment option. I wish I would have taken a picture. It was pizza sadness

Yelp
We tried this place for the first time on a Friday night and getting reservations and being seated were a breeze. They have some nice cocktails on the menu and New York or Chicago style pizzas to choose. Previous reviews made us a bit wary of the deep dish but the Chicago style pizza with spinach (added chicken) came out superb! It was not soggy at all, the blend of spinach, cheese and chicken was a good choice. Between the 2 of us it was perfect and we had a piece left over. Would highly recommend parking a block before or 2 as it's near an intersection that has no parking.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here because we were craving some deep dish pizza and were recommended this place from a coworker. We came around lunch time, and it was super empty in the place - no waiting needed! The server was really nice to us and gave us some recommendations, so we got one of the ones she recommended. Overall, the pizza was solid - would definitely recommend eating at the place when it is nice and hot. Otherwise, the pizza gets colder and the overall experience of the pizza isn't as great. Doesn't match up to the pizzas in Chicago, but to get a small taste here in Seattle, I think it's pretty good!

Yelp
Really tasty chicago style pizza! My husband and I came here on a Thursday night for dinner. We easily found free street parking and were able to get seated right away. Ambiance is pretty casual. They've got plenty of indoor and outdoor tables. Service was really friendly. Food: + Sweetie Pie - Chicago style pizza (takes about 20-30 minutes to come out), but seriously this pizza was some of the best Chicago style pizza I've had! The ratio was really good and the tomato sauce was so tasty! Loved everything about it! + Cookie with ice cream - this one fell short but they also ran out of the ice cream last minute so they kindly just gave us the cookie on the house. Their cookie wasn't very sweet, but I'd imagine with the ice cream, it's spectacular. The cookie is more on the cakey side but still a nice treat to end the meal. I will definitely be back for more of their Chicago style pizza when the craving hits!

Yelp
We got an 18" pizza, half Jack's BBQ (pretty spicy, I'd say a 3/5 spicy, and 2/5 is my personal limit) and half Owen's meat lover (the sausage was nearly a 2/5 spicy but the rest of the pizza was mild). Ordered for pickup so no waiting at the restaurant, thankfully! We ate 6 of the 8 slices for dinner.

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because this was pretty close to exactly what we were looking for. --- --- --- Planning a trip into Seattle, I bookmarked a million highly rated restaurants, but ended up choosing Johnny Mo's because of its proximity to a nearby bike shop. My friend and I wanted to rent bikes and Johnny Mo's was about a 12 minute walk from said shop. And according to Street View, the walk was across a scenic bridge. Sold! While I probably would have preferred Chicago-style pizza, my friend made a good point: it's not the ideal pre-biking meal. Plus, we were starving and those tend to take a while to bake. So we ordered an 18" NY style, half and half with very different toppings. I just ordered Prosciutto on my side and enjoyed it. It actually WAS the ideal pre-biking meal. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be back!

Yelp
We got the citrus salad, the mo meat deep dish, and Lu's sweet and savory to share. Everything was ok! We weren't mad at the meal but some observartions - the citrus was canned, and I felt the crust was stale on both pizzas. It's also very loud at the location because it's right next to the street - fyi.

Yelp
Wouldn't it be nice if we all had a great neighborhood place like this right around the corner? Great food and service all the way around. A pizza destination. And the pasta is just as good. Full bar. Put it on the Seattle list.

Yelp
Got here on a Saturday night and was seated right away. A good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Their pizzas are 10" - 18", and they do not sell by the slice either. We got both a NY style and a Chicago deep dish! The NY style was fantastic; the crust was perfectly crispy on the outside while chewy on the inside. I originally thought my pizza was under-seasoned, but as soon as I put a bit of parmesan cheese on top, it was perfect. I've never been the biggest fan of Chicago style, but this was probably the better ones that I've had. There was a good ratio of tomato to dough, and the crust was again, perfectly crispy. It was my brother's first time having deep dish, and he loved it. Be warned though, Chicago style will be a 40 min wait! I appreciated that in our to go boxes, they put a slip of tin foil on the bottom to prevent the box from getting greasy. No parking lot, so we had to do street parking a couple blocks down. Totally worth the short walk though!

Yelp
Omg. What a nice, hidden gem. Wonderful ambience. Amazing service. Food was surprisingly....awesome. Love it. Mario is a badass, professional, fun bartender. Highly highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I'm dropping this place to two stars because they just made their pizzas a whole lot more expensive. I go to re-order and it won't go through, and the reason is suddenly all those toppings now cost $3-3.50 each. Those pizzas were just a straight $20 and I could add as many as I wanted. The pizza was good it wasn't excellent, and for these prices I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Yelp
How I heard of this place: Visiting my sister-in-law, she ordered take-away from Johnny Mo's and it was our first time enjoying their New York style pizzas. Type of cuisine: New York and Chicago style pizzas served in one location - get what you love! Ambiance: (As we ordered for delivery, I wasn't able to see the space, itself, but look forward to a return visit.) What I ordered: Cheesy Garlic Bread ($12), 14" Lu's Sweet and Savory ($29) - mozzarella with a truffle oil base, small dollops of pesto and fig, roasted garlic, crushed walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, pears, vinaigrette glaze and light parmesan around the crust, and 14" Arugula Bianca ($27) - mozzarella, roasted garlic, prosciutto, and Parmigiano-Reggiano, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and topped with baby arugula. What I loved: Each of the pizzas offered a lovely, freshness - with the arugula atop to the vinaigrette glaze - amidst the melty, cheesy goodness. Why I loved it: The flavors are novel and interesting, delicious and well balanced. Cost: High

Yelp
Johnny Mo's Pizzeria Saw that there were Chicago and New York style pizzas served here, so decided to bunk up here and eat a bit to wait for the notorious Seattle rain to stop pouring. I ultimately decided on a Chicago deep dish. I got the Bethany's special (29): mozzarella, roasted garlic, pineapple, pepperoni, topped with homemade tomato sauce. It was a pretty good dish. A bit saltier than I would've preferred, but very filling and with a very crunchy and not too doughy crust. There was a lot of cheese but wish there was a bit more pineapple and pepperoni. I gotta try deep dish in Chicago one day

Yelp
My friends and I wanted to try this place and given the Yelp ratings, I was kinda disappointed. The online ordering system is pretty easy and it was ready by the time we got there. The guy that was helping us was pretty nice and offered paper plates and utensils for our take out orders. Parking does suck though. We ordered the following: The Greek deep dish - the crust wasn't crisp enough so it was soft. I couldn't really tell it was a Greek pizza as the filling was not as strong. The cheese for me had some issues. My first bite I was able to do a cheese pull, but after, the cheese just stick together. At the end, the cheese just separate from the pizza all together. New york hint of discovery 14 in - I think this is more of a regular pizza for me, not new York style. It was decent, flavor was ok as well. Citrus salad - standard Overall it was ok, not the best. Also a little small for the price. I'm glad to have tried it but mostly likely won't be back.

Yelp
Our pizza was good, salad was ok, we were missing a salad. Pasta and meatballs fair. Cute little neighborhood place. We placed a to go order the person taking our order made fun of my daughter's name before he hung up phone the phone was on speaker so the whole family heard the conversation. When I went in for food the staff was extremely apologetic as was the manager. Based on my interaction with them I believe that the bartender is the problem since they knew exactly who took the order and were not surprised by his behavior. We won't be going back and encourage you to decide for yourself.

Yelp
This is only review of a to go, I heard good things about this place, I never had either deep dish Chicago in Chicago or New York pizza in New York, I heard about the great rival. So I decided to get both since they had both, but can one place made both Chicago and New York pizza that's great in one place, not good or tasty but great. I'm used to getting pizzas that are hot , cut into slices and they offer you red pepper , cheese and napkins it seems standard for me, at other pizza places even starbucks roast house offer this. This what happen nothing as offer except the pizza usually the bottom on the corrugated box is hot it is was warm I just called in the order and minutes ago. The price for two 10inch pizza seem high $60 bucks , but people at work rave about it. At home bust out the plates and red pepper, Parmesan cheese, I also like alittle black pepper. The Hawaiian New York pizza was had a crunchy crust and it tasted like other thin crust pizza from seattle. I later read the website story of how their New York pizza was like a taste of the big apple, I would say it was not. Next the Chicago style deep dish again the website said it was butter , it was not the flavor of a sour or acidity sauce taste is not to my liking and this had a strong acidity or sour sauce . Two pieces and the sauce was not what I thought pizza would taste others , from love it but not me. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten pizza in Spain and Italy during the summer that was truly scrumptious pizza. They call themselves the best pizza in seattle I would say for a reviewer, that statement might be overstated. To wrap it up 10inch pizza about 30 dollars each a acidity Chicago deep taste and a New York crunch taste , was just okay for my taste btw it was kinda of ignoring to cut the deep dishes into slices at home, people from work said that how they do it

Yelp
Great place for pizza and wings!! The cocktails were really good. Ambiance of Johnny Mos made for a fun friends gathering!

Yelp
I'm a foodie and restaurant critiquer, the dough on the bottom is soft and undercooked, should be crispy at the very least.maybe the owners don't care ,but this is dog crap pizza!

Mark U.

Yelp
Wow...what a pleasant surprise here! I LOVE pizza, eat more than my doctor would like, and know good from bad. This is really good...not the best I've ever had, but Top 5 in Seattle for sure. The parking situation is horrendous, but if you're patient or can walk there, you'll be rewarded with solid, tasty pizza at a good price, a good beer selection, and a full bar. The crust is excellent; you can taste all of the ingredients; and they don't skip on anything. We had a New York style pie and a Caesar Salad, which were both great. We'll be back for the Chicago-style.

Danny S.

Yelp
I wanna say that I would've liked to give it 3.5 stars but can't give it 4. Any time I've been here the food is great and the staff is also great. The main issue I have with this place is there is never any where to park. If you live in the area and are in walking distance this is a great place to go to but if you have to drive don't waste your time. Every time I've come here it took at least 15 min to find a spot. The last time I went I spent 25 min looking for a spot before I finally excepted that I was never going to get one so I decided to leave. That was the 3rd time I didn't get to eat here because I couldn't get a spot. After the 3rd time I decided it was always a gamble every time I wanted to go here and that it wasn't worth ever coming back. I enjoyed it every time I got to go there but it just isn't worth the aggravation that comes with it.

Yelp
Yes, the (current) parking situation isn't great, but if you don't mind a short walk, it's totally manageable. The ability to eat both Chicago and NY style pizza in one sitting is simply amazing, esp. when executed so well. I can't think of any other pizza joint that does this here. Combine that with an awesome venue, outstanding service, and a full bar - what more can you ask for?
google avatar

Yelp
NY pizza was great for Washington standards. Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Alani J.

Yelp
Great experience just kinda loud sitting on the patio since they're on the corner right after the bridge. Parking is another thing to plan before dining here but staff is nice and the deep dish is great

Yelp
Crispy crust, Neapolitan style. Pepperoni was yeasty. A wee bit pricey and no slices.

Baldemar R.

Yelp
This is for delivery. Got a 10 inch pizza that can feed two ppl easy. I guess in Seattle you can't tip your drivers but obviously the price is inflated. This 10inch pizza was 54.00 fyi. Worth 54 dollars? I don't think any pizza is worth that much lol. Good pizza sold with the sauce having a kick to it. Like most deep dish the dough in the middle will always be a bit raw but I think this one has way too much tomato sauce on it. FYI also this pizza did not come sliced and by chance I had a knife in my hotel room.

Leneshia H.

Yelp
I've recommended this place to several people. A native Chicagoan and Pizza snob this place has me eating deep dish outside the Chicago city limits and I'm not mad about it. I actually don't prefer deep dish, but after moving to Seattle Johnny Mo's is a lil piece of home I enjoy! Service and vibes inside are chill. Definitely my go to pizza joint in Seattle.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the absolute best pizza I have ever had. We've only had their NY pizza so far but also look forward to trying the Chicago deep dish pizza. You have the option with NY pizza to have either a light bake or well done. I order well done and the crunch is perfection! The meatballs are also excellent. They have a lot of great salad options. I'm looking forward to working my way thru the menu.

Yelp
We are two weeks into life as Seattleites and luckily stumbled across our new favorite pizza place! Weekend one we came without reservations and they were booked, so we ordered to-go and devoured our NY style classic pepperoni. Today we made a reservation and enjoyed the meatballs, a NY style pizza and the cookie skillet - holy moly! Soooo good. While the food is incredible, the service is even better. We met one of the owners tonight and he was so hospitable, as is each person on the team here. They treat you like you're part of the family - and we are so glad we are! Thanks Johnny MO's for making it first 2 weekends in Seattle delicious ones. As my husband says, "It's not home until you've found a great pizza place." Thanks for making us feel at home!

David F.

Yelp
The pizza is very good and the staff are nice. However, the last two times I went there were multiple dogs inside sitting with diners. That is disgusting and I believe also a health code violation.

Yelp
It's always nice when you can visit a local jaunt in Seattle and immediately cross it off the list for repeat visits. That was my experience tonight when I visited the should-be-named "Johnny Less's." First red flag? I was checking for a place to eat earlier tonight and found Johnny Less's. Hmm. Maybe I'll take a chance. I check the online menu on their site - Classic Cheese Chicago Pizza, $23. Da Ditka Classic, $26. Okay, Looks okay. I walk in, sit down, and look at the menu and realize the "in house" prices are at least $3.00 more. Classic Cheese Chicago Pizza, $26. Da Ditka, $29. Amazing, I opt for the small NY Cheese with italian sausage (+ $3.50) and a Diet Coke. Pizza comes, looks good - but where's the sausage? Most of it was gathered near the crust with nothing in the body. Hmm. Weird. I taste it, and the sausage was acutally pretty good (what was there) and the pizza overall wasn't horrible, but hardly worth making a trip for. No big deal. I've had worse. I finish my Diet Coke and my server brings me another. I go to pay, and I see I was charged for two Diet Cokes. I figured it must be a mistake since I know of NO restaurant outside of Calcutta that charges for a refill on a Diet Coke; here, I'm being charged $6.00 for the two. I ask my server (who, let's be clear here, was awesome and attentive the entire time). He said, "Yeah, my manager told us we have to charge for soda refills." Wow - what a great manager! Reels you in with cheaper prices online then nickel and dimes you when you show up. Thankfully, I didn't ask for an extra napkin since I'm sure that would have been another $2.00. Now, as I stated, the server was AWESOME and said, "I can take it off for you if you'd like." Nope. No way. This server was awesome and there is no way I'm going to get him in trouble just because his manager trained at the Third Reich School of Restaurant Management. I told him to leave it on and I'll pay for it. Ridiculous. Who charges for a soda refill? (Johnny Less's is the answer to that riddle). Are the other pizzas good? I have no idea, but the Ditka is now $29 and once he changes it online, that means it will be $32.00 overnight. No, thank you. Fire up my gas oven at home - I'm making my own.

J N.

Yelp
First time trying this place. I was disappointed. Service was lacking. Saw the server when she took our order, brought our beverages and dropped off the pizza. Had to ask for a box and our check from someone else. Advice to our server - don't avoid your guests when something goes awry. Check in with your guests. Let them know what is happening instead of leaving them to wonder. The couple seated next to us came in after us, ate, paid and left before we ever got our pizza. We had ordered a deep-dish and while I understand that they may take a little longer to cook, I think almost an hour is a bit excessive. I'm willing to wait if it turns out to be really good. It wasn't. Crust was like flavorless cardboard, and most definitely over-cooked. Went home hungry. Atmosphere was nice. Seems like it could be a great neighborhood spot however, I probably won't return.

Yelp
The pizza is delicious here! The crust is a magical texture, kind of crunchy and chewy, whatever it is, it's delicious! The Chicago deep dish pizzas take 40 min so be prepared to wait if you come by, but their NY styled pizza comes out quick! They have awesome service as well, super attentive and friendly!

Yelp
1 Star for location 2. Star for atmosphere and good energy environment Cool east coast feel 3. Star for fast, friendly service 4. Star for reasonable pricing $29 for a large pepperoni Pizza 5. Star for excellent foot portions and taste. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Please place. Simple but good food. I took their pasta in a small skillet. It was great.

Marilyn V.

Yelp
This might be my second review but I love this place. They have varied, unique, and delicious pizzas (we haven't tried anything else yet). The restaurant itself is small but warm and cozy, IMHO. The staff is young and not very professional (if you want your plates removed when you are finished with your meal you will have to ask, some tend to walk around looking down or talk amongst their peers while not looking at the customers to see what they need...Oops, there goes their premium tip ‍) with one notable exception. However, I mentioned it to the person in charge and he, hopefully, took it seriously. We'll see the next time we go in.

Yelp
This is for the Chicago Style. I have friends that live in Snohomish they used to live in Fremont and went to Kylie's all the time ever since Kylie's closed they would try another Chicago Pizza place around the city but just never found one they liked. When I ran across Johnny Mo's I let them know about the place they ordered and drove all the way into town and have been hooked ever since. When my friend comes to visit me in Seattle he has to always picks up pizza to bring home to his brother and sister-in-law. I asked if he would mine if I went this time and placed an order since I live in Ballard he would have to back track a bit, he said by the time it got to Snohomish they'd have to heat it up anyway. Parking is not the easiest around that neighborhood, if you're picking up you may want to bring another person to run in. This was my friend's 4th time picking up and my first. They were just taking our pies out of the oven so we had a chance to visit with one of the owners who was sitting at a table ip front. I love getting to know the owners and talk to them it always give me a better connection to the business. It was fun to hear that he had tried a variety of pizza places around town before opening and creating a concept. I think it's awesome they offer Chicago and New York style. I ordered the veggie deep dish. I loved all the fresh ingredients, it had been awhile since I had a Chicago style. Crust and sauce were great. The last spot I had Chicago pizza from I wasn't a fan of their sauce. The sauce here doesn't take away from the fresh ingredients. Looking forward to trying the New York style next time.

Yelp
Chicago Deep Dish is unbelievably delicious! It saved this experience from the disastrous pasta. The pasta was not properly cooked or sauced before baking in the oven (crunchy/unsauced pasta is kinda gross). While the amount of chicken was... well... just... fine, the amount of pasta and it's lacking sauce (the cheapest and easiest way to keep customers happy) was truly disappointing. And serving it in tin foil just doesn't compute in my brain!!! I'll focus on this ridiculously good pizza from now on!!!

Yelp
Great pizza, honestly overall it might be the best pizza spot I've ever been to in Seattle. I'm not a fan of deep dish but even that was great

Yelp
Great place, great service, and great pizza! They offer both Chicago style and NY style....a menu to please all. We ordered the NY Style because it is a 45 minute wait for the Chicago style. We also ordered the crazy bread as an app which is pretty tasty. We'll be back Johnny Mo's. The ingredients are flour, oil, salt, yeast and water...with 24 hour fermentation...so I was told. The pizza is awesome.

Yelp
Not worth it. It's $34 for a decent but nowhere near outstanding pizza. As in, many grocery store pizzas are better, frankly. The service was good, they have a decent beer selection (but below average wine selection), but the pizza has sparse toppings (I mean, it should be overflowing for $34) and honestly is just ok. Either lower the price or put far more toppings, Johnny. But for you the consumer, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Yelp
The owner John as he is bringing out the BBQ deep dish pizza is filming as he is bringing the pizza to the table! I knew at that point we were in for a big treat! I cannot say enough about my experience and the fact that I can get great New York and Great Chicago pizza at the same place is off the charts amazing! John explained he found opening a restaurant late in life and he has hit every point directly on the head that this is a pizza experience I cannot wait to come back to! My family appreciates your hospitality!

Yelp
This place is amazing!! The food is always great! The Chicago pizzas take some time but are worth the wait. The salads are amazing too, ask the staff for recommendations. Mario the bartender is awesome! He is so good at making drinks and making recommendations from the menu! It's such a great spot! Stop in you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Went here for dinner with a coworker- we had salad and shared a Chicago deep dish pizza. The food was good, the service was excellent and the ambiance was chill, however parking is very challenged.

Yelp
I ordered delivery and the thin and thick crust pizza was excellent as was the calzone. My only issue was that I requested plates and utensils and we did not receive.
