The 38 Best Restaurants in Baltimore | Eater DC

"The owners behind Johnny Rad’s have developed a bit of a mini empire with the addition of sausage bar Snake Hill in Highlandtown and disco dive The Royal Blue in Station North. But it all started in Upper Fells Point with this skate-punk pizza pub. Rotating weekly specials, tons of vegan options, and a local drink list set this place apart. But, of course, there’s the pizza — Neapolitan style crust with a variety of toppings like the charred pepp cups on the Pepe Martinez, mushrooms and spinach on the Trainwreck, and jalapeño and pineapple on the Hisoi. Be sure to fit in a round of pinball or Skee-Ball in the back." - Jess Mayhugh

We ordered takeout this past Tuesday. Order was ready on time— only positive. The Marguerita pizza with added sausage? Barely any cheese or sausage. Worst pizza we have had in a while. Disappointing and not coming back. Not worth $24 for this pie.

Fantastic pizza! If I lived around here I would eat here all of the time. Drinks were also very good and the bartender was quick and nice.

Stopped by on a cold rainy night - I was starving and wanted to visit a place that had a decent selection of beers and Rad’s did not disappoint! Ordered a couple of beers - all local to the area..both were outstanding (a märzen & NEIPA) - clean, crisp and fresh. Pizza selection was the Pepe Martinez - loads of curled pepperonis cups, melted mozz, fresh strips of basil and a sprinkling of asiago. Sauce amount was perfect and blended/balanced well with everything.. ingredients were super fresh and the crust was firm and crisp where needed but gave way to that satisfying chew you want in the crust. All around an excellent pizza! I had to wait a bit longer than expected but it was soooo worth the wait.

Google
Really good place with a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. The atmosphere is very nice. My first time there, I didnt know where to go/to order and took a few minutes for someone to ask and help me. The server was very nice, he recommended things to me and helped me decide what to get. The parking Is rough and annoying. You have to park on the street or parallel park which I hate doing in big cities, there's no free parking/ parking lots nearby that I'm aware of, so you have to walk somewhat depending how close amd or if you can find a spot near the restaurant. During my first trip out here, I did witness a lot of the employees eating snacks, touching their face, etc without washing them or wearing gloves so just be mindful of that. The food I got for the first time was the bread pudding, vegan burnt ends/ pulled pork sandwich and the vegan chicken tenders. I really liked the tenders and bread pudding. the burnt ends was kinda a dissapointment, not great but not terrible, my expectations were higher. I have never came across a vegan bread pudding before, so to have one was a surprise and was really good, also not overly sweet like a lot of vegan desserts. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good especially the Buffalo style and with the vegan ranch/blue cheese, they were a little soft, but overall really good. My second time coming, there was a different server and he was very nice and got my food out to me quick and asked if I wanted water while I waited for my food. I got a vegan pizza, which I was hyped for since I heard good things, but it was mediocre at best in my opinion. I've definitely had better vegan pizza. I also got the vegan donut holes and the hushpuppies. Man, they were phenomenal. I have been looking for a vegan hushpuppy recipe/place that offers them and with the vegan Chipotle aoli it comes with, so good.

Google
The pizza was great, the burger was good and the chicken cheesesteak was okay. The drinks were good.

Google
Really cool atmosphere! My wife and I stopped I'm for a quick lunch. Service was quick, and the staff was cool and friendly. Started with the watermelon salad with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. Very good! Also got the primo pizza; delicious thin crust pizza! Definitely recommend

Google
It has been considered one of the best Pizza Tavern in Baltimore. If you don't like chicken or pork pepperoni you will still be able to find veggie one as an option for your pizza. I wish they had Turkey pepperoni option as well. Owner has and interest on skateboarding. So you will find skating photos, TV shows and other visuals around the bar.

Google
Writing this at the bar on my second visit. As a Richmond, Virginia native visiting Baltimore for a wedding, this is THE cure for my homesickness. The punk music and posters, the bar plastered in skateboard shots, decks on the walls, and more! Don't let the punky vibes turn you away, though. The pizza is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the drinks superb. They also make a stellar effort to offer vegan options. They also offer skeeball, an unusual but welcome addition to the pizzeria feel, and have a classic 4-player Simpsons arcade cab. What pizza joint isn't complete without an arcade game of some kind? All in all, I love Johnny Rad's and you should too.

Yelp
Amazing pizza and atmosphere! Especially coming from LA Loved the skateboarding videos and the skeeball. The waitress was hella cool and nice.

Yelp
Johnny Rad's Pizzeria Tavern is a hidden gem that's been calling to me from across the street for what feels like forever. Finally, I succumbed to its siren song and stepped inside. The atmosphere is... well, it's very Rad. Think skateboards hanging from the ceiling, arcade games, and a general aura of cool that's hard to describe. It's like stepping into a time machine, but instead of going back, you're going forward to a world where pizza is the ultimate currency. Now, let's talk about the food. The pizza? Oh, the pizza. It's like a symphony of flavors dancing on your tongue. The crust is crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and the toppings are piled on with reckless abandon. It's the kind of pizza that makes you want to do a happy dance. And the drinks? Well, they're just as good. Service was great as well. All in all, Johnny Rad's is a must-visit for anyone who loves good pizza, good drinks, and a good time. It's a place where you can relax, unwind, and indulge in some serious culinary bliss. 5 stars, no question.

Yelp
Came by on a Friday night without a reservation around 8pm and we were able to get a table in the back room quickly. Service was efficient and our order arrived very quickly. We really enjoyed the Pepe Martinez pizza, although the black pepper was a surprising addition. The crust was perfectly thin and we all loved the sauce and pepperonis. Their nitro sangria was fun, but not a particularly standout drink. The only downside to our visit was that the skee ball in the back room was so loud that it was impossible to maintain a conversation while another group was playing.

Yelp
Johnny Rad's has some of the best dive bar food around! I was skeptical about the pizza and I am glad to be wrong about it- they do it so well! I love the vegan meat options especially on the pizza and the cheesesteaks. The service is great and I love the arcade games. It's a super chill spot but quality is superior!
google avatar

Taylor V.

Yelp
Saw this place featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives and knew I needed to check it out. Love their dive bar vibe!! We came in October and they had awesome Halloween decorations. The pizzas we had were SO good and huge!! The risotto balls were also amazing!
google avatar

Gabe P.

Yelp
As someone from Jersey and a high bar for pizza, they have a good slice here. Split the pepperoni with hot honey and it did not disappoint. The crust was good and held up the toppings well. The pepperoni and hot honey combo was spectacular. The service was super friendly and had a really good vibe. The restaurant itself had a great and chill atmosphere. Would love to come back to hang and try more of the food!
google avatar

Yelp
We sat outside on a beautiful day. I must say there were minimal bugs which is always a plus. The seating outside was nothing fancy but at least it was available as the inside looked a little dark. Unfortunately the bartender was the server and as far as I know, there was only one. She absolutely did her best but staffing was definitely an issue. The food itself was pretty good. I had pizza was I couldn't stop eating. The cheese bread was really good too. The risotto balls were really crispy and were really tasty when I duped them in the mozzarella sauce. Overall good food and I would come back. I'm just more likely to do takeout next time.
google avatar

Sabrina P.

Yelp
Great local pizza spot and bar. The nitro sangria was interesting and very tasty. The pizza, chicken wrap, and beet salad were delicious. This is a great local spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Johnny Rad's is known for their excellent selection of vegan pizza options. But their regular pizzas are also legit. This may be my favorite pizza in the city. There's two skew-ball machines in the back room. It's family friendly, and the bar tenders are kind. Be sure to try the cheese bread - it's epic!
google avatar

Tina G.

Yelp
Johnny rad's kind of seems like a whole in the wall, but the pizza is good, especially for the price point, the staff is attentive, it's a very chill vibe, and they have ski ball machines so that earns 5 stars for me. We got the Pepe Martinez last time we were there and it did not disappoint. I also love that they have a full bar and make delicious cocktails (try their chocolate mint oat milk cocktail!), as well as many local beers, because really, what goes better together than beer and pizza? The ski ball machines are fairly cheap and make it fun for kids and adults alike.
google avatar

Kyrsten S.

Yelp
I love this place ! Vegan homemade pizza and options are always fantastic. The staff is nice and courteous . The music isn't loud, nicely spaced and the place is clean. Food is always amazing hot and fresh my cooked. That's my first time getting hush puppies
google avatar

Yelp
when I was first visiting Baltimore, before I move, some future colleagues brought me to Johnny rads. It's solely one of the best pizza places in the city, with a broad selection of absolutely awesome beer. It's got a bit of a punk rock vibe, without the sensation of feeling out of place without a Elmers School glue supported Mohawk. Welcoming to everyone,
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
Nice guys. Great pizza. Local favorite. Solid beer list. If I lived closer I'd eat there once a week and drink there every day.
google avatar

Oscar L.

Yelp
Johnny Rad's is one of my favorite pizza places in Baltimore city. The service is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The pizzas can be a bit on the saltier side, but nonetheless great. I've come here several times with my friends now and it's never a bad time.
google avatar

Bruce G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my meal here - pizza was near-European style, with a thin, crunchy crust and well portioned toppings. Rice balls were great, as was the caprese salad in a cup. Servers have a sense of humor and embrace the laid-back skateboard theme. Looking forward to my next trip!
google avatar

Shay H.

Yelp
Got the cheesesteak with fries and pepe pizza. Love the cheesesteak! Good value with decent amount of meat. Everything was light even though you'd think it'd be very heavy. The sauces were also light and savory. The pizza was decent, but will definitely come back for the cheesesteak

Cory B.

Yelp
The only reason I'm giving 3-stars is d/t price. Their vegan pizza is incredible. But a large pizza made vegan and a salad costing $40 is not even in the realm of reasonable. Would go there so often if it wasn't that outrageous
google avatar

Stephen S.

Yelp
We got to go on a trip to Baltimore. The pizza was really good with a crisp crust. We did not get a chance to eat there; but, the pizza was definitely very good. I would go back for sure!
google avatar

Ameena A.

Yelp
One of my favorite things about this place is the skeeball machines!! I also think the cocktails and options for drinks are fun and delicious. As a gluten-free diner, eating here is not super ideal, as they don't offer gluten-free crust like most other pizza places. I've primarily eaten salads or burgers with no bun - I've also risked it with cross contamination by eating the fries (which I think may be fried in the same fryer as other gluten items). I attached photos of my friend's pizza though, which looked visually appealing!
google avatar

Cecilia T.

Yelp
Rads is my favorite pizza spot in Baltimore. I've never had a bad meal here and the staff is both very efficient, but also very personable. During a slow afternoon I once had a 30 minute conversation with the bartender about local haunted houses. It also has two skeeball machines in the back room, so bring your crisp dollar bills and challenge your friends to a game while you wait for your pizza. The pizza is superb. It is super thin crust, Neapolitan style, so a 12 inch looks huge, but a very hungry person could finish it easily. The El Gato is a white pizza that comes smothered in roasted garlic with lumps of ricotta and Fresh basil leaves. It will make your breath scary, but is totally worth the sacrifice. They also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options here. I don't know what they do to the fake meat products, but they are way, way better than what you can buy at the supermarket. Even my meat eating friends will eat the vegan meatball sub. Also, be sure not to miss the salted caramel bread pudding. You'll be way too full to eat it after a meal here, but it makes a great breakfast the next day.

Yelp
I am a little late in writing a review, but that's because I have been busy telling people in person about this place! I think Johnny's Rad Pizzeria is like a "Dad Dive Bar." Idk why this sticks in my head, maybe because I brought my dad here and he liked the beer and pizza and he liked the vibes! Even though he is not a skater, he still liked the skater, arcade, chill energy. Staff are friendly and helpful, they gave us a great recommendation on a vegetarian pizza and local beers to try. I'd recommend this place to any of my friends, but especially friends who have family in town and wanna show them a cool, local bar.
google avatar

Tiana B.

Yelp
If you haven't gotten pizza at this place yet, you haven't had the best pizza in Baltimore. No, I will not be taking any questions. Lol no really this is the best pizza I've ever had in the city hands down. They have picnic tables outside for when the weather is nice and arcade games in the back while you wait...or after you're done eating. The only thing I don't like is finding parking in this area. Took me just as long to find parking as it did to get there. Doesn't matter though, I'll be back.
google avatar

Dan A.

Yelp
Finally getting here on a Friday. They had some traffic around 5 but it was light with a couple of tables full. Dimly lit and a narrow space with more seating (and some arcade video games) in the back. Liked the bar area and they also had a few tables outside. Ordered for pickup and online process was seamless and our order was ready as promised. First, they have a long list of sauces (including vegan options) which was a nice touch. Rad's sauce and Chipotle Mayo were our favorites . The Risotto Balls app was very good. Just right crispy filled with cheesy rice (featured on DDD). When I picked up our two 16" inch pizza boxes, I couldn't believe how light they were. Their crust is on the thinner side and airy which balances well with the toppings. The Pepe Martinez (we added sausage which gave it a spicy kick) was delicious! The Trainwreck (also featured on DDD) was very good. Fresh veggies and mozzarella made for a light pie. Thee Burger was cooked to our temp order which was a pleasant surprise. Tasty beef with generous toppings (added cheddar cheese.) I'm going to say this is one of the best burgers I've had in the Bmore area! (Under the radar as there isn't a pic of this amazing burger on their Yelp site until now) The Cheesesteak was also enjoyed. Service was friendly and fast at pickup. Will be back for dine-in-Looks like a great spot for a beer/cocktail. This spot is known for their pizzas and vegan options but Thee Burger shouldn't be missed! A DDD favorite that lives up to the hype!

Yelp
Great pizza with great vegetarian and vegan options! Got the pizza that was featured on diners drive in and drives! We got a medium and it was the perfect amount of food! Lots of beer, wine, and cocktail options! Lots of seating inside as well as an area with games in the back. Some outside patio seating as well! I look forward to trying more veggie and vegan options soon!
google avatar

Barbie S.

Yelp
Environment was fun. Service was good. Food wasn't bad. We didn't order a whole lot; risotto balls and a 16" Trainwreck. We really like the risotto balls. Pizza was good but crust was kinda too thin for us and no flavor. Also pizza we ordered didn't have much cheese :(
google avatar

Toby T.

Yelp
I felt misled by the vegan tenders which were described to be "large" and "5 pieces". My order was wrong-- not sure who to contact as I only received 4 pieces total. I've attached a picture below. I paid about $18 for this serving, don't think I'd come back to justify this price. Hoping this can be reconciled.

Yelp
Johnny Rad's is killing the game! I visited with my cousin as her mother in law (vegan for years) recommended for me to try this place out. The waitress we had was absolutely amazing, I wish I got her name. She checked up on us multiple times and suggested things that I wouldn't have known. For an appetizer, I HAD to order the buffalo chick'n nuggets which came with a vegan blue cheese and vegan ranch. I AM OBSESSED. I've had my fair share of vegan chick'n nuggets and the buffalo definitely brings it up a notch! For my entrée, I ordered the vegan cheesesteak with french fries. Again, killing the game! It was seasoned perfectly and the fries were nice and crispy. My cousin loved her pepperoni pizza. To pay, you can do so with the waiter or you can pay by scanning the QR code on the receipt. I love when establishments have that option so you don't have to wait. We were so pleased with the food, service and ambiance so when I visit the area again, I have to come back!

Megan D.

Yelp
Weekend trip to Baltimore, came in on a whim after hearing they had great vegan pizza options (which I've missed a ton since my fav north Brooklyn spot shut down!). Definitely didn't disappoint. The Trainwreck pizza was unique + tasted fantastic. Cool ambiance with a strong skate theme, nice alt/punk spot off the path from the smooth/shiny downtown historic district. All staff very kind as well. Would come back whenever I'm in Baltimore again.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I came here with a few friends for dinner and was so impressed by the amount of vegan options! They had a fairly decent draft list, so I got an IPA to drink. To eat, I got the Vegan Meatball & Cheese Sub and subbed fries for chips. The meatballs were delicious, and the whole sub was super filling. I only ate half and was able to save half for lunch the next day. I will definitely be adding Johnny Rad's to my regular rotation!
google avatar

Caroline Whitney M.

Yelp
Johnny Rads is a total go-to! Amazing selection of pizzas and draft beers. We had a doggie bag too! This is in a great Fells Point location. Recommend!
google avatar

Athena B.

Yelp
I'm updating my review because after going here for Vegan Restaurant week, I can say that I had the best vegan pizza I have ever had! Not that I have had that many, but the "cheese" and the "ricotta" on this pizza tasted no different than if I weren't eating a vegan pizza! I wish the pizza I got was a permanent item on the menu, not just a special! The ricotta was so creamy, I couldn't even tell it wasn't real ricotta! The consistency was spot on! We also ordered non-vegan appetizers: the risotto balls and cheese sticks. I can see why the risotto balls were featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives because it was way better than I expected it to be. The marinara sauce it's offered with is a little thinner than normal marinara sauce, but it had some spicy kick to it and I loved it! I normally am not a fan of dipping anything in marinara sauce, but this one I couldn't get enough of. The only mediocre part of our meal were the cheese sticks. It sounded so good on the menu because I LOVE garlic, but I didn't even really taste the garlic and one end piece wasn't even worth eating because it was all bread, no cheese, and too hard. I would skip this appetizer next time and just get the risotto balls. Trust me -- you won't regret it. Anyway, this place has earned 5 stars for the amazing vegan options. I think I would get one of the vegan pizzas anytime I go here going forward -- it was that good!
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
The food was really good for a dive kind of bar. The server was nice and not at all rude. The ambiance was a really cool dive bar feel. Great first time, I'd definitely come back.
google avatar

Christopher S.

Yelp
The risotto balls are worth a visit but please stay for pizza and beer. Salad and vegetarian options are available and delicious. Enjoy the skate lore and videos while the staff attends to your delights. This is a top-notch dive bar with a fantastic kitchen.

Crystal T.

Yelp
Very delicious food!! Best pizza I've gotten in a minute and the staff is always super friendly!
google avatar

Kolin H.

Yelp
A friend and I did a quick overnight trip to Baltimore (from DC). My friend is dairy free pescatarian. A lot of times when we are searching for places to eat it's easier for her to just go vegan. We originally had reservations at some fine dining place but then a few days before coming, my friend heard about this place. So we decided to take a chance and ditch our reservations and come here for dinner. We were so glad we did!!!!! Originally, we wanted to sit outside as we were walking up to the place but once we went in we decided to sit at the bar because inside was just so cool! The bartenders were great! They were attentive and helpful with the menu. We ordered the Nitro Sangria- DELICIOUS!! We were absolutely amazed with how many vegan options there were AND how many options could be modified to be vegan. This has definitely made our list of must haves when we visit Baltimore!!!
google avatar

Morgan K.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Both the pizza and mozzarella stix are so good. I highly recommend the bbq chicken if you like chicken on pizza. Would definitely go back
google avatar

Jon M.

Yelp
Good service from kind staff, quick prep & the food was great. I've been in the neighborhood for about a year & a half, walked past dozens of times & never bothered to stop in even though I'd heard good things. Had a pizza craving one night and decided to give it a try since it's within easy walking distance of my house - very pleasantly surprised at how exceptionally good everything was. Got food to go the first time but I'll be back to dine in & leave a more thorough review. So far, so great!
google avatar

Naina S.

Yelp
4/5 Johnny Rad's Pizzeria is a quick walk from my friends' place in Baltimore and it was the spot they decided on taking me for my one night in town that was near by. It holds a special place in their heart and they wanted me to experience it as well. Immediately the staff was incredibly friendly and the vibe of the outdoor seating was perfect. It was a great environment to catch up with someone after not seeing each other in so long. The drinks we ordered were delicious as well. I got a lavender lemonade drink and my friend got a negroni, both good. The pizza was huuuuge, we had leftovers between 3 of us so beware of the portion sizes being large. But I *love* leftovers so this was a win for me. The fries were really good too and also a big portion as well. I would definitely love to go back again.

Christopher P.

Yelp
Pizza is great but their cheesesteak is very underrated. They also have rotating bread puddings which are always amazing.
google avatar

Audrey S.

Yelp
Great, reasonably priced pizza. They have a lot of vegetarian/gf options. We ordered two pizzas: sausage and pepperoni and the Bad Chad, which was on the specialty menu. The sausage and pepperoni pizza was prepared and served as expected although it was pretty greasy. I mean, I expected for it to be greasy given the meats that are on it but it was a bit much. The Bad Chad (white pizza, garlic purée, mozzarella and provolone cheese, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian sausage and ricotta) was amazing. I know Johnny Rads changes their specials weekly but I'm hoping to be able to order it again in the future. There was a lot of garlic purée on it, which wasn't a problem for me because I love garlic but I can see how the flavor might be overpowering for someone else.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Friday night, tried calling this place about 10 times. No answer, just got a recording of a staff member telling us to try back soon. Very impersonal. And, lost business. Too bad because their menu looks good. If places can't handle the demand, there are always dozens of others who can have our money.
google avatar

Tammy N.

Yelp
Went to this place off of the recommendation of a Baltimore native. He was impressed because Guy from Drivers, Dine Ins and Dives featured this restaurant. It is a dive. And the food is FANTASTIC! This was the best pizza dough I had outside of Italy. The ingredients were fresh and my food was hot. My water glass remained full. I will definitely go back for the quality of food alone!
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
My friend and I chose to go to Johnny Rads because of their impressive vegan and non-vegan options. My friend is vegetarian and I am not. Johnny Rads has about half a dozen picnic tables outside for outdoor dining and the interior has a dive bar vibe. Random comment - the bathrooms are singles with black chalkboard paint with writing/graffiti covering every inch of the walls and fixtures. Something about it made me feel very claustrophobic and I had to keep my eyes closed while inside, but it had no impact on my friend, she thought it was cool. So if you are claustrophobic maybe avoid the bathrooms. My friend and I ordered a ton of food and split everything. We ordered vegan French onion soup. My friend was thrilled because she's never been able to eat French onion soup before. She said it was tasty. We also ordered vegan mozzarella sticks which were okay. The texture was a bit runny which is common for vegan mozzarella sticks. We also had a Ceasar salad which had vegan dressing which was a highlight for me. The dressing was very flavorful and the lettuce was nice and fresh. We had the risotto balls which were my favorite. They had a light mushroom taste and were a nice creamy texture. Finally we ordered the tilt mode pizza. The bites with the ricotta were delicious and the bites without were a little plain. One of the reason I am giving Johnnys 4 stars is because their waitstaff was so nice. We ordered the tilt mode pizza without onions and the waitress forgot to mention that when placing the order with the kitchen so it came out covered in onions. She also forgot to put in our risotto ball order so it ended up coming out much later. My friend and I did not complain at all, things happen. We just asked for a spare fork to pick off the onions and asked if the risotto balls were still coming. She ended up comping both items for us. Overall dinner was a nice experience and I would definitely come back to Johnny Rads if I'm in the area again.

Yelp
TLDR: sturdy pizza with medium crust and no skimping on the toppings The tots were a yummy app to start (as a lover of Peruvian food, the green and yellow aji sauces were the perfect pairing)! We tried two pizzas: The Hosoi was a fun twist on your classic Hawaiian pizza with pineapple, bacon bits (maybe a lil too much for me), and a great jalapeño kick. The Pepe Martinez is a best seller for a reason--basically margherita + pepperoni + a healthy sprinkle of black pepper to add another layer of flavor. Can't go wrong!! Overall I was a big fan of the structural integrity of the pizza *no sliding of toppings/drippage!* The restaurant has plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating as well. We posted up in the back room with the skee ball machines which is pub style so you order up at the bar. Great vibes all around. And to top it all off, our king Guy Fieri once graced this establishment with his presence. Rollin' out
google avatar

Lena M.

Yelp
The absolute best pizza in the hood. My favorite is the Pepe with well done crust and garlic purée. On mondays they have a special... $11 pies! Which is like 50% off. They have a great beer selection and a full bar. Extremely local spot that I found during covid and come at least twice a month.

Yelp
Met my daughter here for a Friday lunch. We were the first ones there at noon which is when they open. The place quickly got busy though which is so refreshing. I had been riding bikes by here for the past 2 years waiting for an opportunity to check it out. The sign outside is fairly compelling. My daughter ordered the Trainwreck pizza. It looked good. I left her to it & she was able to bring part of it home. I did the Mootz Sandwich which was basically a caprese salad on a brioche bun. It was served cold though I think it would have gone well as a warm sandwich as well. The chips were awesome. So before our main courses we also ordered the HUF Puppies which were a great take on Hush Puppies. I could have made a meal out of those.

Yelp
I feel Bad that my last review was so harsh. Must've been rather new. This place is my jam. When I'm in Baltimore, I almost always hit JRads. The vegan options are out of this world. Parking sucks, but shut up and deal with it for cheap drinks and killer food.

Yelp
This is a covid time review- we got takeout from here and they are doing a good job with social distancing and mask wearing which we appreciated. We were really excited about their vegan selection and got several (all vegan) things: Pizza, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, and dessert caramel bread pudding and rainbow bites The pizza was fine, kinda average crust flavorful sauce and toppings. But we're spoiled by Roscoe's in Takoma Park so it wasn't as great. Next time we'll try their sandwiches instead. Chicken nuggets were simple but tasty with as chipotle mayo dipping sauce Mozzarella sticks were tasty but should have been hotter and we could have used two sauces but the sauce was yummy Desert was pretty great. I LOVED THE RAINBOW BITS! FRIED PIZZA CRUST Slathered in glaze with sprinkles. What could be bad?!? My wife enjoyed the Caramel bread pudding, too.

Yelp
We are definitely fans. Half of my family are vegetarians so we are always looking for places that have both meat eater and veggie options. Here is what we ordered: - Cobb Salad - LOVED. Wish the bacon was chopped tho. - Vegan cheesesteak with regular provolone - A winner. The vegan protein was amazing. - buffalo vegan nuggets - so GOOD. - fries - GOOD - vegan cheese sticks - so so so so so good. The flavor was amazing. We definitely will be going back to try the rest of the menu!
