Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"After months of anticipation, the first Jollibee in Seattle proper is finally open. This popular Filipino fast food chain has all the classics—crunchy fried Chickenjoy, Jolly spaghetti, peach mango pies, and more. Just know the line will likely be astronomical for the foreseeable future, so only rush here if you have an entire day to spare for fried chicken." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

Jollibee to Open in Seattle Proper in June 2024 - Eater Seattle

"Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee will be opening its first Seattle restaurant next weekend. The new Jollibee will be located in Rainier Valley Square, alongside the Safeway. Other Washington locations include Tacoma Mall and Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. The menu features items like Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, burger steaks, peach–mango and ube pies, and palabok. This is the third Jollibee store in Washington State and the 101st in North America." - Meg van Huygen

The Hottest New Restaurants in the Seattle Area, June 2024

"Filipino fried chicken fans have reason to celebrate, as Seattle finally has its very own Jollibee. The multinational chain opened its newest location in early June 2024 in Rainier Valley, next to the Safeway on Rainier Avenue South. It means less of a trek for Jollibee devotees, as this is the first shop inside the city limits — the other Seattle-area location is actually in Tukwila, at Southcenter Mall, and there’s another one in Tacoma too. If you’ve never been, the Manila-based restaurant corp is known for its crispy fried chicken, peach–mango hand pies, and sweet Filipino spaghetti with a banana ketchup base that’s loaded with ground beef and hot dogs and topped with melty cheese." - Meg van Huygen, Harry Cheadle

We just got back from the Philippines and this is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Just like the Philippines but the chicken here is bigger, and unfortunately you have to pay for extra gravy (the Philippines often gives extra gravy for free at least the ones we went to). Don’t know why this only gets 4 stars, it’s certainly not a fine dining experience but the chicken is better than KFC.

I love Jollibee Fried Chicken, especially the spicy one and the gravy. I've ordered from this location several times, mostly through the drive-thru. They're mostly good, but sometimes the chicken pieces they give us are not the same - sometimes they're big, sometimes too small. I just want consistency, thank you.

Google
First time trying Jollibee. The spicy fried chicken was great. Juicy on the inside but crispy outside with good flavors. Fries were OK. I found the spaghetti too sweet. Mango peach pie was uniquely good. The place was clean and well maintained. Manager came to our table to ask for feedback. Overall, happy that we ate here and will visit again.

Google
Food: 4/5 One of the best fried chicken spots I’ve been to. If you’re getting fried chicken here, make sure to get the spicy version and don’t forget the gravy. I had the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, and it was flavorful and moist. The fries weren't crispy enough and could use some improvement. Service: 4/5 Service was solid—nothing exceptional. Everything came out in a reasonable time. The staff were patient and kind. Atmosphere: 4/5 Busy and energetic, with the fast-paced vibe of a typical fast food chain. Would Recommend? Yes, absolutely. If you're craving quality fried chicken with great flavor and a spicy kick, this place is worth coming to.

Google
Jollibee is known for their chicken but I was in a burger mood yesterday so I figured, why not? It was soooo good. I also got their signature pineapple drink and unfortunately they do not do refills. There was a steady stream of customers when I dined in, I am happy to see that business is doing good.

Google
Jollibee is only so so as far as chicken goes, I found my meal to be kind of regular, Nothing particularly special about it, Although the mashed potatoes were good, They were Actually the best part of the meal. I prefer other places for chicken. Also a bit pricey for what you get, But then again most places are these days. The girl who took my order at the counter Was very nice and cheerful.

Google
Waited 40 min for my food made me park across the parking lot then proceeded to tell me it would take 20 minutes more. If I wanted my mac & cheese that I ordered so they gave me extra chicken. I waited for the mac & cheese, assuming the extra chicken was to accommodate me for having to wait now I didn’t get my mac & cheese at all! I ordered two and they gave me extra chicken to accommodate me waiting an extra 20 minutes for my mac & cheese, but never brought it out. 1st experience and last

Google
I never expected it to be this good! The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. I’m a huge fan of Chick-fil-A, but I might like this one even better because the chicken is so crispy and they give you tons of fries🙏 Let me know what you think💕

Yelp
Great fried chicken - original or spicy. Only dark meat chicken. Just thigh or drumstick. Wish they had all options. Weird spaghetti - it has a faint, sweet bell pepper taste. Peach Mango Pie is awesome. Clean and bright dining area with limited seating. Super friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend. Will come again.

Yelp
Got drive-through and it wasn't a good experience. Ordering was annoying, as you can't replace a side in a combo with an identically priced peach mango pie. Instead got chicken with a side of mashed potatoes... but never received any cutlery or napkins, so when I pulled away to eat in my car the mashed potatoes were a write-off and the chicken was a mess. The chicken wasn't good -- the fried skin fell off immediately, so I had to kind of hold the fried bits and chicken together like a messy sandwich. The chicken meat wasn't good, and the fried bits were softer and chewier than I like. Definitely not going back. Two stars since the peach mango pie I had to buy separately outside of my combo was very good.

Yelp
They limited the amount to can get to 12 pieces of chicken. They didn't have the 10 piece bucket so it was pretty lack luster. I went in on 6/8 and The free mango peach they advertised was not redeemable til 6/10. I was fooled. The lady inside kept mopping instead of clearing tables. The floor was already clean and spotless. Tables needed to be bussed instead since there's a line of people waiting to seat that were inside standing. Space was small but I'm glad they had a drive thru. The chicken was not bad. I feel like the Southcenter tasted better. The online ordering they usually have was disabled for the rainier and Southcenter location on Saturday. Their system was poorly planned. If your food was ready, the buzzard would buzz. You'd give them your buzzard and they'd still ask to see your receipt. Like what's the point of having a buzzard? Their launch was half ass. They were selling merch outside as well instead of doing better marketing. The employees were friendly and amazing customer service. I think that leadership was lacking at corporate.

Yelp
Love the spaghetti the most and gravy is so good! I went on the second day of opening so I waited in line for 15 minutes. They didn't have all of the menu items when I asked about the Aloha Burger, unfortunately.

Yelp
First time trying their signature fried chicken and I definitely preferred the spicy over regular. Paired with the gravy was the ideal combo. Mashed potatoes similar to KFC. But our 2nd favorite item was their Jolly Spaghetti. That signature sweet-style sauce loaded with ground beef and hotdog, and topped with melty cheese... made it difficult for us not to over eat. Though Peach Mango Pie was good, the Ube Pie would've been better. Staff were super friendly and our big order came out fast. Be prepared for a long drive through wait during peak hours, why we chose to eat inside.

Yelp
This was my first time ever going to Jollibee! As a Kentuckian, I love fried chicken :) the 2 piece with 1 side and a pineapple quencher came out to $15 something, which I thought was a little steep... but the food was good. There was a bit of line in the drive thru but nothing crazy. Worth the wait as the food was still warm when I got home. The drink was really good too. Overall I was pleased with my experience, and will likely go back to try more items. Definitely want to try the spicy!

Yelp
The Seattle area has its second location of Jollibee (technically third if you count Tacoma), and heavens be praised, this new location has a drive through! If you have ever tried to just walk into the Southcenter location, you will know how tough it is at times to just grab a table. Employees are pleasant and the interior was spotless. If you are a ChickenJoy fan, don't forget that side of gravy. IYKYK. As a Fil-Am, I am a sucker for the burger steak with mushroom gravy and also the palabok fiesta is pretty good. Heads up though, the spaghetti is tasty but it IS sweet. It's a Filipino thing so consider yourself warned. What else can I say? Double up on the peach mango pies, trust on this one. You'll want one for later! The ube pie is also tasty but if I recall, it might be a special item and not always on the menu. This location is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00, and when you hit them up, don't forget the photo with mascot outside!

Yelp
Choo choo!! I just jumped off the hype train and after a scrawny two piece box, I am wishing I'd just not watch YouTube unless I'm watching sports or dog and cat videos. The chicken was fresh but without any distinct flavor and my mashed potatoes were incredibly ok. Jolibee is probably best left to those who are busy taking photos of food. I want to give it a 1.5 but...you know.

Yelp
I can't wait till this spot opens best gravy over rice and chicken so spicy . I drive by at lease once per week to see if it's open yet

Yelp
Not a fan of the drive through service ! Lady taking order suuuucks . Also I wish I knew they didn't have the full menu here before driving an hour to this location.
