MUST dine at if in OCEAN CITY, NJ!! This place is so delicious! We came from the Coastal Chateau Boutique Hotel for lunch and it was a 10 minute walk. The outside seating is PERFECT on a nice day, plus it’s walking distance to downtown & all the shops on Asbury! The service was great and everything we tried was amazing – the sweet potato waffle fries are a MUST, as well as the chicken salad, wraps, and salad were all fresh and flavorful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a casual, tasty meal down the shore! Their breakfast and dinner are also AMAZING!!

Our waitress was very pleasant. The coffee was the best we had out of 3 different places we went. And the food was delicious. Would go here again.

I came for the good reviews and was not disappointed. The food is fresh, and is presented beautifully. The quesadilla may be the best one i have had yet, it was delicious. My boyfriend got a wrap and it kept him full and energized without weighing him down, he even was able to take half home. The natural juices are carefully curated and they taste delicious. Its a refreshing experience to eat at a healthy restaurant who cares about fresh dishes.

Pretty good not a perfect score for me but defiantly a good spot wait was way to long for a Wednesday like 45 minutes but alright I got my favorite thing a sausage egg and cheese and they had a brioche bun I asked for avocado on my sandwich and I didn’t get that much but it’s ok I got there pound of fudge coffee and omg to die for 5/5. Overall if there was less wait I would come here every time but it’s a nice spot to stop by!

Very cute and lovely restaurant. We like to go for breakfast. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Food was delicious and the place is adorable. Yummy, cute drinks with dinner! We gave the waitress our order and unfortunately both items came out incorrect, but the waitress remedied it right away. Burger came out with lettuce & tomatoes which were asked to be omitted. (Not a huge deal) Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a steak one was served. But once corrected, the chickens quesadilla was delicious!! Would definitely recommend the place!! So cute inside and the staff was super friendly!

Jon & Pattys is always a super solid option while in OC. I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have never left unhappy with a meal or an experience. The workers are always friendly food always hits the spot! They will always be one of our top go-to’s down the shore!

This review is solely based on my experience and service given to me. I ordered one Beyond Burger with Swiss cheese, sweet potato fries, and one Veggie Sandwich with chips. I also made sure they are toasted. After 20 minutes of waiting, server came out and told me that they don't have beyond patty, then why would you take order and payment without inquiring. Then I was offered to select something else. So I selected another Veggie sandwich. However, when I got my order and drove away, realized that there was no sweet potato fries and bread was not toasted on both sandwiches. I called in to get refund for extra charges was made for fries but lack of service and quality of food is turnoff. I don't care how busy the place is but poor service and quality, I would not visit this place in future. I wish I could give 0 *. Google should add option to provide 0 or no * with review.

We came in for dinner on a Saturday in mid-May. We lucked out and were able to be seated right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had the coconut chicken salad which was really sweet and yummy. They left the rinds on the Brie, so I did remove that since it's not something I enjoy eating. They have a kids menu, and my son devoured his chicken tenders and fries. The rest of our party enjoyed their meals. The only item that wasn't a favorite was the shrimp fra diavolo, so we wouldn't order that one again. We also grabbed some yummy to go lattes from here the next morning.

Cute spot on Asbury that has brunch, lunch and dinner. We chose to sit indoors in the back which was super cozy. Service was attentive and our food was served relatively fast. They have small kids menu which was perfect for our extra hungry and tired preschoolers. Menu for dinner had a good variety of burgers, sandwiches, and fish. I tried the scallops off the special menu which was $34. Scallops were well cooked and the pineapple mango salsa was a good accompaniment though felt it was slightly overpriced.

This place is a cute brunch spot in Atlantic City. It was busy with lots of people coming to eat here. The staff was friendly too. The food was pretty good. The Jordan Killer Quesadilla was nice and juicy and tasty. I felt like salad was not necessary. The Philly cheesesteak was really tasty. The fries were yummy too.

We were pleasantly surprised to have no wait time for a table at 10AM on a Monday in the summer, this place is bigger than it looks (has an upstairs too)! They have a huge latte menu with some very ..interesting options, as well as the classics. Good choice of breakfast options as well, sweet and savory. Ordered a sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and an orange mocha. Food and drink came out quickly and I was very pleased with my breakfast sandwich. Wasn't a huge fan of the orange mocha but this may be partially my fault as I've never been a huge fan of the artificial orange taste. Nice and big portion sizes tho!

Had a very tasty lunch at J & P's C B & B with MDF today. I had a cup of their tomato bisque soup that was char topping good, and we both ordered one of the specials, grilled cheese on sour dough bread with eggplant, red peppers, and mozzarella, another home run. Up-charged fries instead of chips for me were nice and hot with a great flavor, and texture. I' m adding this little bistro to onemy favorite local spots.

The single best place to grab breakfast, lunch, brunch , coffee , latte , cider , and or sandwich on a cold winter day in NJ. Getting sat on that cool looking second floor was a nice lil bonus. That hot apple cider with ginger lemon nutmeg and cinnamon.. could live off of that alone. My wife's Cinnabon latte was massive and delicious. So many more varieties to try.... Thinking about that cheesecake one. We arrived too late for the breakfast menu but damn that corned beef special was stacked !!! Great service. Happy shiny people holding hands !!

I've been coming to OC every summer for thirty years, and I'm always delighted to make new discoveries. Jon and Patty's was a great experience! Our waitress was incredibly kind and provided great service. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and they move two tables together to seat our fairly large party outside for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We'll be back! I got the burger as a grilled chicken sandwich and definitely enjoyed it! They are also great with accommodating allergies. I have a severe dairy allergy and she double checked with the kitchen that my order was good for me and asked them to clean part of the grill where they made my chicken to prevent cross-contamination.

When we got our check we were surprised to see that the prices on the menu were not what was on our bill. Every item was $.50 to $1 higher. I grit my teeth and paid the bill (in cash, because they charge a 3% fee for using a card) but I'll never be back. So sick of these restaurants that blatantly scam their customers.

Got here a little before 8 for breakfast and there was already a line! We were sat quickly though, highly recommend the outdoor seating. The line only grew while we ate and I can see why. Omelets were hot and delicious, home fries were some of the best in OCNJ. Great breakfast spot! My dad and I go to many down here and this was one of our favorites.

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday in March. We didn't have to wait for a table at all. The servers were all very nice and attentive. We sat upstairs at a high top and the ambiance was very nice. I got a breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread. It was really good. My husband got an omelet which he also enjoyed. The breakfast potatoes were chunks of potatoes and I prefer the shredded kind. They were tastey but not as crispy as I prefer. The lattes were delicious and so many flavors to choose from. Can't wait to come back and try something new!

We decided to check out this place for breakfast. When walking in, the inside was a mix of tropical and garden. It was pretty cool. The staff were friendly and inviting and were mindful with my lactose intolerance; they didn't add whopped cream on an oat milk latte . I ordered the Vermont Lodge French toast with a side of Canadian Bacon, which were so good but be warned that it does have nuts (walnuts). My wife got the Amazing Avocado toast and substituted the multi-grain with sourdough (the waitress didn't make any fuss). It was also delicious and my wife had some for leftovers. That is a fantastic spot that we'll definitely return to next vacation, and maybe for dinner another day.

I really wanted to give this a five star, but I just can't. I know it's the summer, but on a Thursday morning with plenty of staff, waiting for forty mins for my food to come out is just too long. My breakfast burrito was delicious, but my friend's omelette came out luke warm. The cheese sauce on top was congealed as if it had been sitting on the counter forgotten for quite some time. We ordered two lattes to go, and that again took another 15 mins. I liked sitting outside, but every time a car pulled up next to us, I felt like I was going to be run over.

Amazing breakfast on a last minute idea. Going back soon I hope. Pancakes and oatmeal great for a Feb morning

Loveeee it here. Came in again for lunch and dinner one two occasions and it's hit the spot every time. Their dinner was delicious.. the coconut shrimp and egg rolls were hot and tasty, my husbands poke looked amazing, and my Mac & cheese was to die for. Always friendly service here and never superrrrrr crowded. Hidden gem in OC

The coffee and bene were really good. Awesome breakfast potatoes and service. Super dog friendly. The owner even came out to give my Pyrenees a treat. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Jon & Patty's has been a favorite of my family's for a long time - we belong to the members-only supper club and have hosted so many special events here. It's always been a must-stop when we have someone visiting. Unfortunately, after a bad experience last night and a general decline in quality since ownership changed, we will not be back. We were a large group and the majority of us had steak (either surf and turf or the steak dinner). Somehow only one meal had the temperature cooked correctly and the majority were SUPER over cooked - we're talking about steaks ordered medium rare that were GRAY all the way through. When we asked for this to be corrected (which we wouldn't have done if it wasn't SO far off), we received no apologies and were told they weren't sure if we could it and it would take them at least 25 minutes to correct (which in itself was confusing considering all of the steaks were OVER cooked). Eventually the steaks came. The "surf" part of the surf and turf was delicious, as was the chicken parm. When this place does well, they truly hit it out of the park (which was the standard previously). We also had a member of our party order a pasta dish that came out nothing like it was described on the menu, but it was still delicious - and there was enough otherwise wrong, so we didn't even bother addressing that to the team. We tried following up with the owner the following day but the owner simply told us that steak wasn't their forte and we should have ordered something else. Which confused us as it was the most expensive item on the menu and under "chef's specialties." Please note from the owner themself - do not order any dish with steak!!! I'm so bummed because Jon & Patty's has always been a favorite place - the OC sandbar is truly the best dessert in Ocean City! I just don't see myself or my family continuing to come here given the poor service and unreliable quality in food (and with how many other great restaurants there are in Ocean City and the neighboring towns, why gamble on something you don't know will be good).

Let me preface this review by saying that my family has been members of Jon and Patty's Dinner Club for several years. Never until last night have we had a negative experience. My Mom has hosted birthday dinners, bookclub nights, committee meetings, etc there because it has always been a wonderful experience until now. Last night, my family (there were 8 of us) went for dinner. 4 people ordered the surf&turf which is one of the chef's specials. 2 of us ordered a steak only dinner (which they did accommodate and make special for my Mom and I), 1 ordered the crab pasta, and 1 the chicken parm. Only 1 out of the 6 steaks were cooked correctly. The crab pasta, while delicious, was described as being in a "tomato sauce" was really a garlic olive oil sauce with a few fresh tomatoes. My stepdad wanted a tomato sauce so rather than complain, I switched dinners with him. I will say, the chicken parm, the crab cake/shrimp part of the surf&turf, and the potatoes were all delicious! The steaks however (except 1 of 6) were all incorrect and Im not talking about a little wrong. A well done steak came out pink, the medium rare ones were well done. It was pretty bad. I will say again that we have been members for years and have never complained nor had an issue and order steak often. We brought it the attention of our server as it was many meals made incorrectly. Mind you the surf&turf was $39 each and the most expensive Chef Special. It was an expensive night out for my family. Well the server did not apologize and acted like we were being picky. She came around and collected all of the steaks and said they would remake them. A manager did not come to check on us. My stepfather went downstairs to speak with someone. She also did not apologize and acted like we were being a bother. They redid the steaks and only 1 was remade correctly but at that point we were not going to complain and just ate them as is. We ordered dessert and got the check. Again, no one came to check on us or anything. We received a full bill and no apology. My mom messaged the owner asking that she call when she had time explaining that we had our first bad experience. The owner called at 8:50 on Sunday morning (we went Sat night). I was hoping this was a good sign that she responded so quickly. Sadly, that was not the case. She also did not apologize and acted like we were being picky. She stated that steak is not their speciality and perhaps we did not like their menu. Now let me say, my mother was initially upset that they did not have a soup available that evening like they typically do and that they removed the filet from their menu. We were quickly appeased on this front by being offered a steak only menu. The owner was hung up and my mother not liking the menu and would not address the issue with multiple steaks cooked incorrectly. In the end, her solution was that our dinner club membership be refunded. It is quite sad how the quality of service and food has dropped. We would have been more than happy with them taking accountability and apologizing; however, we were treated like we were the problem. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Excellent vibes, food, and drinks. Was initially disappointed to sit outside and therefore miss the nice energy and ambience inside, but even outside things were pleasant and we received quick and friendly service. Ordered the eggs benedict special, it was a fresh take with mozzarella and pesto incorporated- really good overall. Most of all I throughly enjoyed the extensive latte bar with tons of options all adding to the uniquely-OCNJ character (i.e. the Johnson's Popcorn latte was amazing). Looking forward to coming back in the future to try another dish and conquer as many signature lattes as I can handle.

This a fun place where you, as a customer, are greeted nicely. The coffee is excellent. The choices are fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and seems happy , which leads to a good experience.

My party of four had breakfast there today (Sunday) and had a relatively short wait considering we arrived at 930. Maybe 15 minutes. And we got to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Oddly, while the chairs looked flimsy, they were sturdy and comfortable. The tables were mosaic tile and very pretty. Loved the menu and wanted multiple items, but settled on cream dried beef, the savory bacon and cheddar omelette, make your own omelette, and just good old fashioned eggs and bacon. We also got the slim and sassy latte and the sweater weather latte. Everything was delicious and came out super hot. The waitress actually had to put the plate down instead of hand it off because it was so hot. Hot plates yield hot food!! I'm picky about cream dried beef, but this one was good. Not too runny or pasty, beef was cut small enough. And they offered sourdough as an option which was nice. I'd love to go back for lunch and dinner. I want to try the baked apple pie oatmeal next. We saw the pancakes at another table and they were giant!!

We love Jon and Patty's!!! They are go-to morning spot! We just got home from a week at OCNJ and went there for coffee almost everyday. We will see them again next year!!

Went twice during our family vacation for a to go coffee; the first time was excellent! Service, and coffee were of the highest quality. However, after returning the next day staff gave dirty remarks towards my family)which we overheard)! She then asked what we are doing in line, and stated they cannot do to go coffee and for us to leave... suffice to say that energy is not appreciated during a family vaycay, especially when you are a paying customer!! Quite upsetting when our first experience was lovely.

Had breakfast here last week! Everything was amazing! I had over easy eggs, home fries, toast and bacon.. all were good! My wife raved about the overnight oats!

Wonderful place. So many coffees to choose from. I had a lovely iced latte and avocado toast. It was the percent amount of food before my day in the beach. I can not wait to return and try other items on the menu.

the first time we went, the service was great and the coffee was good. we waited at the takeout counter and they took our order and got it to us quickly. the next day we went back and did the same thing, and a waitress said to the hostess 'who are these people?' in a rude voice. she then said we can't do takeout coffee here and said we need to leave it was not very nice. we were excited to go back today but now we won't be returning

It is officially a tradition - 3 years in a row, my husband and I have started our visit to OCNJ with brunch or lunch at Jon & Patty's. Delicious food and coffee options. As a bonus this year, 7 of us had a fun and yummy brunch on our last day. The veggie omelet, chicken salad sandwich, peppermint patty latte, blueberry lemonade and French toast are just some of our faves. Great service, too!

Impeccable and fast service. Vegan friendly menu. Plenty of food for left overs and the coffee is top notch. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. 5 stars in my book.

Cute place. Table close together. Burger was good but the roll was average. Fries pretty good. Ceasar wrap had cold chicken in it. Wasn't great.

While I am a Sea Isle City loyalist, Jon and Patty's is my OCNJ Achilles heel. They have a great selection for brunch and lunch and the most amazing latte bar menu that I have ever seen. If your waiter asks you if you want whipped cream on your coffee...just say yes. With friendly service and even better food, J&P's is a must while you're in Ocean City.

Every time I order dinner from this place I am truly amazed. I feel as if I am eating food from a 5 star restaurant. The Chicken Milanese special is one of the best dishes I've had in my entire life! lots of light and healthy options for lunch / breakfast as well. The coffee bar is also fantastic and the barista Earl is the best! If you are in Ocean City this place is a MUST!

This place is super cute. I love it mostly for its ambiance and creative (and delicious) lattes. I especially love the apple pie chai tea latte. They have a nice selection of classic american lunch and breakfast options. This is a great place to go with friends to chat.

Went today for lunch with my wife and daughter. The Ocean City spring block party was going on. I had the corned beef special. It was excellent. My daughter had the special chicken tacos. She loved them. My wife had a salad with grilled chicken breast added on which she enjoyed. We have been coming here for several years. Always excellent service and food. Highly recommend to anyone. It can get crowded so plan accordingly. It's worth the wait.

While I was down the shore this weekend, I grabbed breakfast at Jon & Patty's! This place clearly is popular for a reason, with a huge menu, extremely friendly staff, and a homey feel inside! We had our our name down at another breakfast spot down the road and we were told it would be an hour wait, but then we tried J&P which had a longer line our front, and we were seated in 10 Minutes! The hostess was extremely personable and warm, making our short wait enjoyable as we chit chatted with us. Inside, we got a cute corner booth and were greeted by our waitress immediately. We opted in for J&P's signature specialty coffee drinks from the "latte bar" - I went with the bananas foster and my friend ordered the lazy hazy days with hazelnut and vanilla. Our food was served quickly, with hearty portions and fresh ingredients. I went with the veggie bomber omelette, which had Swiss cheese and pesto-a very unique but yummy combo in an omelette. The table next to us ordered breakfast tacos, buttermilk Pancakes, and tuna salad sandwich on a bagel - all three of which inspired me to come back again to try those delicious looking Options! I was extremely satisfied with the service and food quality at this establishment, and would come back in a heartbeat! Definitely try this spot out if you're looking for a hearty and delicious breakfast.

Best breakfast place in Ocean City hands down. The breakfast tacos are a solid 5 stars and their espresso drinks are gourmet coffee shop quality. I Typically dine here 3 times in the week we visit OC annually. Also I like sitting outside if the weather is nice.

The good people at Ocean City Coffee highly recommended Jon & Patty's for lunch. I'm so glad that my husband and I took their suggestion and had lunch here. We were seated upstairs with was cutely decorated and very homey. Our waitress, Chiara, was such a sweetheart and took great care of us. For lunch, I had a cup of their chicken noodle soup and the veggie bomber sandwich. The soup was nice and hearty and warmed me up on this chilly day. I loved every bite of my sandwich, as did my husband of his tuna sandwich. The lunch sandwiches are served with delicious chips. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a great lunch spot. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items next time we're visiting Ocean City.

Enjoyed checking out Jon & Patty's during our off season visit to OCNJ. We got to enjoy both Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. They were kind enough to still let us put our name down and sit for dinner close to closing. The Warm Spiced Cider was perfect while we waited on our entree. The Salmon Bites bowl was incredibly delicious, and fairly well balanced. We both got veggies as they ran out of rice (totally understandable), and the broccoli and carrots were steamed pretty perfectly too, at least to my liking. We decided to return in the morning for breakfast when they opened. A little less "hectic" and very relaxing breakfast. Staff continued to be very lovely. Very pleased that my matcha latte tasted primarily like matcha, and wasn't a huge sugar bomb or had any weird "fake" aftertaste. We both ordered the Winter Blues French Toast, and it was again just very well balanced between the sweet and tart. I was very satisfied with the portions. It looks like they have some outdoor seating with heating maybe once it's a bit warmer come spring, and appear to welcome dogs in that space, so I look forward to visiting again in late spring with our dog.

What a cute little restaurant! The food was fresh and tasty. We walked in to order takeout and we're greeted by two lovely women, one of whom was the owner. She talked with my aunt and showed her the upstairs while I waited for our meal. I had a lovely conversation with one of the workers while waiting. Everyone was very kind :) My food was also amazing! I got the salmon bowl special and was so happy with it. It was very fresh and tasty. The salmon was honey glazed and it had avocado, rice, lemon, tomato and greens. I loved it and everyone kept stealing from my plate!

Stopped in for a quick bite as we were strolling Asbury street and I'm so glad we did. This is a perfect lunch and coffee spot if you are looking for good food with quick service. The drink and food menu has good variety and there is something for everyone. Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Pretty brutal. We waited 50, yes 50 minutes for our dinner in half empty restaurant...asked for a pitcher of water because we knew it would be a while before we'd see the waitress again. Hubby had to go into the restaurant to actually remind them after 15 mins..and it's finally brought with no ice. It was 80 degrees plus. We never saw the waitress again. Someone from kitchen brought the food to the table. No one came to the table to ask how everything was...very cold staff. Sorry Jon..sorry Patty...Gordon Ramsay would have a field day with this place....

Good food in general. Had breakfast a few times and the only negative is their liberal use of salt on the potatoes. They also have a dining club that allows you to bring in your own wine.

The food is so good. I'm not a coffee drinker but my sisters loved the drinks they got. The staff is great. It is a small location but worth the wait!!

Moved to the area this year so I've been trying some of the local places and Jon and Patty's is now one of our favs. Very dependable breakfast and lunch menus and the staff is always helpful and make you feel at home. Bonus is that the food has also been very good. Brought the extended family there last weekend and were seated upstairs (who knew that was even there - and it's quite large and inviting, not just an afterthought). The place was very crowded but we were served in a timely fashion and everything was excellent for the party of 6. We will keep returning to our hometown eatery!

A wonderful evening - the service was exceptional, the food was amazing. A must try appetizer is the shrimp wrapped in bacon!! I cannot stop thinking about its deliciousness.

Had zero expectations due to command appearance at group dinner. Wow, did I come away impressed. I tend to go to low key ethnic restaurants and don't pay to much attention to service. I thought the menu was ambitious, yet T he food was delicious. The service was superb, helpful, humorous, attentive, accommodating, and greatly appreciated. Our server made the dinner a no-stress, relaxing family experience. I know! Who heard of a relaxing family dinner? There was scallops with pasta, NOLA bbq shrimp with BUTTER!, crab cakes (no bell pepper thank god), burgers, salads. I didn't taste everybody's dishes, but what I did was tasty-yum.

Excellent food and service; very accommodating to our breakfast party of 9. We also had two takeout orders which were also excellent.

We got there early for breakfast on a holiday weekend and were seated promptly. Our table was in a bit of a wind tunnel so we asked the server if we could move, she was happy to accommodate. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I ordered breakfast tacos and the apple pie baked oatmeal. Both were delicious! I'm pretty particular about my breakfast tacos- and these were decent. The oatmeal was really good, a great sweet option if you don't want enormous pancakes! Coffee was ok- not hot enough for my preference. They also had a ton of latte options. Would definitely go back!
