Jonuzi's Pizza

Second time trying Jonuzi’s and am really satisfied/impressed with the quality of Pizza!! The Dough/Crust tastes freshly made in house and the toppings were really good. Also really liked the cheesy bread for a second time. Price for two 14” pies and a cheesy bread was still less than $50. That’s more than reasonable for quality pizza from a local joint. Will definitely be back in the future to support a local small business over cheap bland pizza like dominos.

So we ordered a couple - one was a basil pesto sauce with chicken, peppers, etc and the other an Italian meat with salami, ham, and cappacola. While the selections of pizzas (red sauce and white) was good, and the crust was decent - the pizza itself was okay.. kind of expensive for what you get. Not a lot of meat. FYI - the place is known for delivery or carry out because they only have a couple tables inside.

This is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The Calzone is delicious, and the pepper steak is the bomb, service was excellent and employees were all very friendly

One of the better pizza places in the area. You can tell they use quality ingredients and don't skimp on toppings. Sauce could be a little more flavorful but that's subjective. If you live in the area, for sure give this place a try, as I will order from again.

This is THE BEST pizza I’ve found in Texas. I’m from New Jersey, I’ve been in Texas for 10 years and this pizza was just as, if not more, delicious than the pizza from home. The pizzeria has super kind employees and no matter how many times I order from there, they ALWAYS get it RIGHT. the flavors are consistently on point, the food always perfectly made.. I have never had a bad experience . I really love this spot 💕

Tiny place with just a few tables. Friendly guys. Pizza is very close to jersey style pizza. I'm from NJ so I was glad to find a spot that feels like home

If you don’t know you’re gonna know now, jonuzis is the best pizza on the block hands down. Don’t get me wrong I love my cicis and my dominos, but nothing compares to getting a hot and fresh pizza from jonuzis and smelling the delicious aroma on the way home, then biting into the crispy crust and perfect ensemble of toppings and knowing your nose wasn’t being deceitful this pizza really is this good, mm mm mm mm. Their subs are delicious too, though sometimes I feel like the bread is a lot for the sandwich (which isn’t me complaining, just a personal preference). They’re still yummy and ginormous, and all in all I would highly recommend this place! Also to the customer who came up with this cheeseburger pizza, this is actually really, really good! I was very skeptical this pizza could be good given the mustard and pickles but my skepticism has been met with satisfaction and approval kudos!

I'm not much of a pizza guy but my family loves pizza. They love the pizza but the Chef Slad is amazing! We get delivery now once a week!

Dare I say it? It's back, BABY! Last night was the 3rd time we ordered from them since my last review. I got the Tuscany and a house salad, my hubby ordered wings and likely the Italiano 'za. Delivery was fast and still warm when it arrived. Sometimes, I'm just not in the mood for tomato base and this time, I got a pie that was simple and good. Olive oil, cheese, tomato and onion on a great thin crust. The salad was also very good - bite sized pieces of romaine lettuce, black olives, red onion and tomatoes. It is better than the other delivery choices for sure! I'm holding off on a 5 star until I test that philly cheesesteak though. I think the OG Jonuzi's ordered a special bread so we'll see. Until then, what are you waiting for? Order it. Save yourself from cooking today! Life is too short for boring food!

Great pizza. The mushrooms were fresh. The hamburger was cooked perfectly. Nice crust. And fast service.

At a Google search glance, this spot seemed promising. The service was standard, and as we waited for our take out order the cashier was friendly and patient which gave for a casual ambience. The pizza and sampler were far from what was described and pictured online. There were less toppings than expected and the flavor didn't spark joy.

Oh. My. Goodness. Excellent pizza - excellent service. I'm so glad I found this place after moving to the area because I was missing my "hometown" pizza place but this is even better and we love this place!

I absolutely had a great experience with the food and the order taker. The gentleman was very nice, and knowledgeable of the menu & food. He also made a suggestion which I took and I will definitely be back. I mainly came to get a calzone and I was far from disappointed. Needless to say I will definitely be back.

I live NY style pizza and this is as close as it come to authentic pizzas from that region. The crust is amazing and the toppings are always fresh.

the supreme pizza has a good ratio of toppings on it. taste is good overall. pretty good.

We tried this place today for the 1st time. I'm not sure what's all the hoopla about it. We ordered the supreme pizza. The guy at the front was very nice and the pizza only took about 15mins to be served. We ate in and the place was unbearably hot. It was like a furnace in there. The pizza was not bad. But not "that good" either. We ordered extra cheese and it had no cheese extra at all. Perhaps they initially put very little of it? Who knows... Bottom line, this is a 5-6 out of 10? The dough is good, thin like we like it but the sauce didn't have much flavor. One thing they do have going for them is the price. Medium supreme with 1 drink was like $21. Not bad at all in today's economy.

the last few times I have picked a few pricey pizzas up, my opinion was it is not any better than dominos, or a doctored up tombstone Come on Jonuzis, step it up, what an opportunity to make and sell a really great quality pizza you are missing, look at Gambino's pizza, now that is a good quality pizza, even today's Godfathers Pizza would be something to strive for, my humble opinion, Jonuzi's pizza is mediocre at best.

I ordered a pizza over the phone. I arrived fifteen minutes later and was told it would be another fifteen minutes or so. I watched them assemble the pizza and put it in the oven. Ten minutes later they realized the oven wasn't on. They came out and told me it would be another couple of hours till they could make the pizza while the oven heated.

I am currently waiting to pick up my second order with Jonuzi's, as the first order was very good. Their pizza is better than the majority in the vicinity and they are a generous size, too, which is appreciated when feeding a family. They seem to be a nice couple operating the business, they offer coupons and want to please their customers. I would definitely recommend this pizza place!

Best pizza in Denton so I had to stop by while I was in town. Although the ingredients changed slightly this was still the most delicious chicken Alfredo pizza I've ever had! It does seem the chicken has changed and are smaller pieces than it used to be but the flavor is still there! I love Jonuzis and wish there was one closer to me now that I've left Denton. A bit pricey as I spent $17 on a small pizza but it was worth it for me. My partner got the bbq chicken pizza and they like it. I had a slice and it was good but not as good as the Alfredo! I think it would work better with a different sauce and bbq just drizzled on top! The bbq as the pizza sauce became to much for me after a few bites!

Food: 5/5 Jonuzi's has been our go to for pizza and cheesesteaks for years now. You won't find better quality for the price in Denton. Service: 5/5 Everyone from the drivers to the cooks couldn't be more friendly here. They are incredibly fast as well. Environment: 5/5 Can't go wrong with the oldschool pizza joint vibes.

Had the veggie lovers pizza with white sauce and no green peppers, because green peppers don't like me. it was delicious.

This place is close to my work so I decided to give it a try for lunch. It is very small on the inside and they have canned beverages. The pizza is really good and they usually have fresh Parmesan cheese for it. I have gone back since the first time so I know they are consistent. The staff is friendly and makes sure you are taken care of if you decide to eat in the store. I will be back.

placed an online order at 5:31, the website stated and eta it 45-1hr. By 6:45 i called them and was blown off and told it was out for delivery. 7:00 rolls around and my husband calls them and get told the same thing. we finally got our pizza at 7:30. this was the first time we ordered from them. the pizza was cold and looked like it was leftover pizza from the day before. we ordered from them because of what great reviews were online, definitely won't be doing that again! don't waste your time or money!

This might sound weird but the pepperoni pizza tastes better cold. The crust is what I consider perfect, chewy yet crispy on the outside. The tomato sauce is pretty nice, kind of garlicky and mildly sweet. The delivery came on time and the driver was polite. It's one of my favorite pizza places in Denton.

The new Cacio e Pizza added peperoni and black olives was amazing. Should have gotten a large. Staff was awesome. Called to clarify my order.

Was amazing. Large pizza filled three hungry gents, pause. But nah fr za was gas. Meatballs on the pizza was a game changer.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. We ordered a half cheese/half pepperoni and it came with full Pepperoni. Not an issue, until you deal with Jonuzi's. I called to let them know the pizza was wrong and they said "can you just take the pepperoni off" and I told him I wouldn't have ordered it without if I could just take it off. So then the guy on the phone said "my boss said we can't do anything soooo" and I asked for a refund and they said they can come pick up the pizza but not make the correct pizza because that would be making two pizzas. I'm not sure how that's my fault when he blatantly told me "oh I thought you said just add pepperoni". If you are sending a driver out to pick up a pizza you mistakenly made why are you not sending the correct pizza out to make it right. LOL I'm so confused? & the guy hung up on me because he didn't have any more answers. Horrible customer service, the pizza is waiting outside for you to come get it.

As far as Texas pizza goes they are great! Only thing I would recommend is making the pizza a little more well done, and possibly get some higher quality cheese.

Amazing food and customer service! First time customer and the cashier helped me so much trying to figure out what to get. They informed me of their lunch special, and we even had leftovers. Great prices for great food. My 5 year old son, who is extremely picky, wouldn't stop saying how the food was sooo good. We will most definitely be back! Thank you guys!

Wife and I split a 12 inch pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on wife's half, too. It was a good pizza. The new owners are very friendly. We will be back.

This was nothing special. For some reason it is voted one of the best in Denton. Nice people but the food was average at best. It had a greasy taste to it as opposed to marinara. I want to taste the sauce, not the grease. We had pepperoni, hamburger and jalapeños. Thin crust. Crooked crust is better on that general area.

Loooove this place. We order delivery all the time and it's always 5/5! Order the wings, too!

Got 8 large pizzas for a crowd of teenagers. Hot and fresh delivery to our hotel. Really good crust on the pizzas. Pretty good cold the next day too!

In response to owner's comment: yes a panzeratti is fried. They also include the sauce inside it instead as a dip. They are delicious, you should try them. The difference between calzone and stromboli is calzones are folded and stromboli are rolled. The cheese ricotta is regional/selective but not defining of stramboli. It's a shame you choose to ignore that I enjoyed your calzones. They are good! And I recommend them to others. I removed my comment about not being authentic and added a star - only because the food is good.

Ordered a large Quattro Formarggi all burnt and covered with ashes at the bottom ! A 40 year family tradition they claim , yeah right! Waste of money and time won't be ordering again for sure !

Nice friendly family owned pizza place, ideal for takeout Tried two pizzas, the plain which was excellent.. sauce tasted delicious with the proper amount of sweetness and cheese - crust nice and crispy and traditional thickness of Jersey pizza crust Second pizza was Pizza Albanezo.. this thing came loaded with toppings ..far more then most pizzerias provide.. it was delicious also, only disappointment on Albanezo was crust could have been crisper

I love Jonuzi's Pizza! They do deliver, but I usually pick up from there. Everyone is so nice there. Don't miss this one!

Tired of wannabe pizza. I saw jonuzi's while driving down the street. I'll researched it and found it to be the best in Denton. I waited for a special occasion to order from them. Pizza- dough was ok to good. Sauce wasn't sweet - a plus Toppings are yet to be found- tiny chopped bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, sausage, bacon..... doesn't make it for flavor. maybe the best in Denton except for frozen Tony's that is bought in the grocery stores. Failed in my experience and I won't go into delivery time and mouthy delivery driver. I won't buy here again though it was an honest interpretation of a frozen pizza. Jonuzi's Supreme Pizza

In town to visit my son at UNT. Ordered a daily special of two 2 topping pizzas and a two liter for delivery. Food was delivered hot in less time than promised and soda was cold. One pizza was mushrooms and extra cheese...they use canned mushrooms instead of fresh...the BEST!!!! Great pizza...will definitely order again!!

Eh, it's alright. None of the employees were wearing masks and the space inside is rather small for dining in. There were a ton of spider webs on the inside above the doorway. I ordered my philly with no peppers and onions, but it came with onions still. It lacked in flavor. The Philly stromboli was good though.

This is my favorite pizza place, I always order delivery from Jonuzi's, and they are ALWAYS on time! My favorite is pizza Florentine and the cannolis are TO DIE FOR! Oddly enough I've never liked cannolis until I had them from here. Amazing place.

Last night I ordered a meats pizza, cheese sticks and a greek salad for pick up. Not only was the pizza crust so tough it was a struggle to bite through it but instead of pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon and meatballs it only had pepperoni and sausage. Very disappointed. Something has changed it used to be good.
