Just randomly drove by and found this place. And sooo glad I did! Cool “speak easy” rustic atmosphere tucked away in the middle of essentially nowhere (not accessible by public transit). Never did a vodka tasting before, but it was great. Not a huge fan of sipping on straight vodka, but I love it in a drink! 😀 cocktails are to die for!

Excellent hidden secret located in Ivy City! While there are at least 4 Distilleries in the area, this one comes complete with its own cocktail bar featuring some really good craft cocktails. It's located about the Atlas Brewery and you'll have to go up stairs, but this gym is definitely worth a visit

An amazing DC distillery with multiple award winning bourbon whiskeys and gins and vodka. The Murray Club bar has great cocktails and a speak easy vibe. The tour is a nice diversion but don't forget to take home a quality spirit. They have a wonderful event space for group and company outings. It is in Ivy City, an out of way, up and coming area, but worth the effort.

This place is huge! The "club" is a small, narrow bar through the distillery, and walking through it gives you a feel for their production space. Spoiler alert: it does smell like a ton of liquor. There's a huge tasting room in the front of the space which is cool, with artifacts from the original distillery in Cincinnati, but there's just one tiny car with pre-mixed cocktails available. No food available. Nice vibe for a casual outing, and right next to Atlas which puts it in a great spot.

We got the LivingSocial deal for a tour, glasses, and tasting for two, which also included a cocktail! Rachel did an awesome job of settling us in, fixing our drinks (including a Yummy non-alcoholic raspberry lemonade mix for the DD!), and giving us some background on the company. The tasting was wonderful; but Definitely bring a DD so the taster can thoroughly enjoy the samples. Jack took us on the tour where we learned more about distilling and how ecological it is! Excellent tour guide! Rachel also let us know about other distilleries in the area- Saturdays are busy because that is when the other ones do their tastings, but Sunday afternoons are relaxing at Magnus. The bar area was nice and relaxing, comfortable stools and seating area. The surrounding area is a bit rough, but it's improving and I look forward to seeing where it goes! The distillery is right next door to a brewing company, so they are not alone, and it's across from a well-kept cemetery. We ended up buying bottles of the four they had in stock; each came in a nice, reusable bag. Highly recommend stopping by with your DD!

I honestly didn't like the cocktail that I had here, but their ambience was great. They had one room that was more of a club vibe with EDM and another was much more chill like a giant industrial lounge. This place is great for parties. It is adjacent to Atlas Brewery which is a must do as you leave.

The Murray Hill Club is simply the best place to get a cocktail in DC. The bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get a cocktail that is perfect for your tastes. The bar is fully stocked, but the menu changes each week and follows the flavors of seasonal produce handpicked by the bartenders. This makes each cocktail a truly unique creation. One of the most unique creations at the bar are the jello shots. The shots are big, constitute the alcohol content of a full drink, and showcase the talent and creativity of the bartenders. One of my favorites featured espresso liquor, creme de menth, vodka and chocolate expertly blended into the perfect alcoholic dessert.

This distillery has a wide offering of gin, vodka and whiskey. The staff is exceedingly knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting is generous and the cocktails are made to order(any eay you like). This is a wonderful gem in the NE neighborhood.
