Featuring Jalisco-style cuisine, Jose offers an array of tacos, including the tacos de tacha on heirloom masa featured on Netflix’s Taco Chronicles, and the Baja-style mahi-mahi tacos and lion’s mane tinga, which are equally worth seeking out. Seafood dishes and enchiladas are also stars, along with its amply inventive cocktail menu. Must-try dish: For brunch, order the ancient grains bowl, which starts as a simple mix of farro, quinoa, a soft poached egg, arugula, and avocado.
