Everything about this place is worth the hype. Old, rustic decor, beautiful aesthetic old school frames. Definitely an OG of all the shady bars. No wonder shady bars became a thing after this place. Staff is fun to interact with. Chill vibes. Great snacks. Best vibe to chill and hangout and feel the feeling of sitting in Goa and sipping drinks with the old school music and chits and chats going on every table and look at the crowd passing by on the streets outside! Exactly how we see in movies or read in books!

This place has a vibe. You will definitely feel like you got back in time with rustic furniture, old wall clocks hanging (too many for that matter), wooden interiors and a glimpse of the world outside while you drink. I didn't get to eat anything here as the kitchen was closed.

This small bar offers a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for spending quality time with friends. Despite its compact size and occasional crowding, the ambiance is inviting, and the staff pretty attentive. The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the Tambde Rosa cocktail, a delicious and unique drink that is a must try for any visitor in Goa.

Popped into Joseph's Bar for a quick bite and a drink. This tiny spot packs a punch! Friendly vibes, delicious Goan bar food, and a great place to meet locals and travelers. Perfect for a casual evening. The store owners are very friendly.

Amazing Vintage ambiance. Dim light, Cozy Vibes good crowd. The road lane is very beautiful and photogenic . Tried their iconic ‘Tambde Rosa - Kokum Feni Cocktail’. Need an Aquire taste . Keep an open mind while having first sip if you are trying it for first time . You might not like the after-taste. Waiting time is ok ok. Parking is not easily available. Unfortunately we didn’t got chance to taste any food items as they were not available.

Joseph Bar is a tiny watering hole/village tavern nestled in the picturesque streets of Fontainhas and dates back to the 1970’s. It has a super rustic interior and although it cannot seat more than 10 or so people inside and maybe about 10 more outside, the bar is always packed with locals and travelers. The remnants of an old watch shop are also seen throughout the space. As a traditional Goa tavern, feni and country liquor are the main stars and are sourced from a handful of local producers.

Very less veg options. Atmosphere is good. Service was good. It’s not expensive. Staff is genuinely good, allowed people to settle in due to heavy rain.

One of the oldest and legendary bars of Goa. This is a very small and crammed up bar but yes, there’s something really cozy about the setup. The owner is polite and the service is pretty quick. This is not the place you wanna sit at for hours. But a good place for a quick drink while on the go. The crowd’s pretty decent here. The menu is really cheap. We tried their signature Tambre Rosa which honestly, I didnt find worth the hype. Looking for an Old Goa classic vibe, then this is the place to be. They dont serve any food here so make sure that you’ve eaten before coming here for a drink. A one time visit for sure (just for the legendary vibe)
